The room was very small, and there was no free breakfast. On the positive side, it was very quiet, and the front desk staff were very nice.

The room is quite small. They had no a/c available making it oppressive. Hard to sleep. Staff is very nice.

An older hotel with a bit of character, complete with physical room keys. Clean enough, with friendly staff, and it gets the job done for a simple stay. The location is on the quieter side of the station, so there are fewer restaurants right outside, but a convenience store is nearby for anything you need. Basic but perfectly serviceable for a night’s rest.

This property is actually exceptional for the current price, its much different then hotel stays in the US. The rooms are smaller but probably normal for the area where space is a premium. The only difficulty that I had is that Google brings you from the train to the property next store that is also labeled as Grand Kanachu but it is closed for renovation. After a long flight and train rides I was a bit freaked out but a security guard saw me and brought me next door to the front desk and everything was good.

It seem large but the room is actually cramped smaller than or about the size of a bath room.with a bed in it image. Inconvenient because no personal safe box wher you put your important doc or money but you can hand it to the reception for safe keeping. Rather old hotel. Location is good, near the station. 旧館最上階に宿泊しましたが、老化のためか廊下のカーペットの一部が切れていてつま先がひっかかりそうになりました。多大な費用がかかることとは思いますが何らかの修理を希望します。平塚の懐かしいホテルがこれからも長く繁栄されることをいのります。美しい朝日に癒されました。
