The property is a 5 star experience. The rooms are so spacious and luxurious! Right across the street from a local grocery store one can find anything we might need. The only thing is the subway station is quite a few blocks away and is about 1 hour by subway to all the main tourist attractions.

Our room at the Charis Hotel was great. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable enough for my American taste. The description said \"full size\" bed, but it was really a queen size. The room was extremely clean and non-smoking with no smokey smells at all. The bathroom was very modern and high tech with an overhead rain shower plus handheld shower, jacuzzi tub, and high tech toilet with heated seat and washing features. Big sliding wooden door to enter the bathroom, with separate glass doors on the left and right for the shower/bath and toilet sections. The sink/vanity were in the middle section and you can see into toilet and shower sections. There's a window to the bedroom but there is a magic button for privacy glass. Room fridge kept things nice and cold. Hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful, although most spoke very limited English, or none. All in all, we were able to communicate enough. There isn't a concierge desk like some of the larger hotels in Seoul have. The subway was a short walk and easy to navigate even though we spoke no Korean. Took only 45 minutes to get to the heart of Seoul. Convenient \"shopping mall\" right across the street with an amazing clean modern grocery store and drug store on the bottom level. Mall has everything; toys, books, lots of great clothes, nail salon, food court. Starbucks, Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, and 7-11 are also across the street. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast buffet was also good.

I was in Seoul for convention and was very satisfied with hotel location and service. It's 5-10 min drive or Taxi to Convention Expo center, but price-wise it beats all hotels located closer (walking distance ones).

It's unbelievable everything we got from the price. It's an old hotel but tidiness and convenient. There're many small restaurants (foods are delicious and cheaper than ones at downtown) and coffee shops around, Homeplus just opposite to the hotel. Of course, we took a bit longer traffic time but acceptable. Overall, the price is valuable.

We stayed at this hotel 3/15 to 3/19/2010. As usual for Korea the rooms were a little small. What makes this hotel truly outstanding was the front desk staff. Completely professional and VERY helpful. Everything we asked was provided and they were very knowledgeable about the area.
We didn't know much about the electronics in the room and the front desk manager came up immediately and took all the time necessary to explain everything.
We have NEVER this quality of service at any other hotel in the world. WONDERFUL!

제공된 사진과 동떨어진 Room의 모습을 보게 됩니다.
시설이 너무 낡았고, 제가 묶었던 방은 탁자에 의자도 1개밖에 없었습니다. 세면대 물도 제대로 배수가 되지 않아서 욕실도 최대한 조금만 사용하였음.

시설이 너무 낡았고, 제가 묶었던 방은 탁자에 의자도 1개밖에 없었습니다. 세면대 물도 제대로 배수가 되지 않아서 욕실도 최대한 조금만 사용하였음.

여러 후기대로 옆에 공사중인 건물이 있어서 그쪽으로 배정받은 방이라 매우 소음이 심합니다. 객실과 복도도 방음이 잘 되지 않아 소음면에서는 좋지 않습니다. 욕실 청결이나 객실의 청소는 양호하나 호텔의 등급이나 시설에 비해 가격이 유독 높다고 생각되었습니다.

She called the mobile number non heritage, and she contacted the taxi driver to bring it back to the hotel!
I thank her very much, and all of staff are really good.
The hotel room is clean and I was able to relax all days.
For improving point, sometimes the hot water from bathtub are little dirty...
I am Japanese, so soaking bath is very important!
Also, it is very grateful if fitness gym can be established at the hotel.

계획없는 갑작스런일정으로 저녁시간에 체크인하게 되었는데. 일요일저녁이여서인지. 룸업그레이드까지 해주셔서 아이들 둘을 데리고 편하게 묵었습니다. 선결제로 결제싸이트에서 미리 해서 조식신청을 해서(변경유무)여쭤봐주시고. 친절하게 응대해주셨어요.

작은누나의 한국 방문으로 하루 숙박을 위해 방문했었습니다.
큰 짐가방이 많았었는데 카운터로 가기전 로비가 계단으로 되있더라구요. 구조가 좀 불편하게 되어있었지만 직원분들의 도움으로 편안하게 체크인을 할수 있었습니다.
남자직원분들이 너무너무 친철하게 맞아주셔서 기분이 너무 좋았습니다.
추가로 침구류와 타월을 부탁했었는데 너무너무 감사하게도 처리해주셨구요~
