⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Peaceful Getaway with Beautiful Views!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at A Mighty Oak Bed and Breakfast. The property is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and we loved seeing the beautiful view of Pilot Mountain right from the farm. The friendly animals added such a nice touch it felt warm, relaxing, and full of charm.

Our suite was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. Todd and Lisa were amazing hosts — so kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and we truly appreciated all the small details that made our stay special.

We loved enjoying our morning coffee while watching the animals and the mountain view. It was a perfect getaway for both of us, Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely come back again!

Such a wonderful, relaxing, and beautiful location. We drove up from Florida for a wedding near Pilot Mountain, and we're so glad we chose \"A Mighty Oak\" for our stay. Todd kindly offered to take us for a mini tour of the farm to see the cows, chickens and pigs. Our daughter fell in love with \"Heart\" (the special cow with a unique marking on her face; you'll just have to visit them to see where her name comes from). Our morning walks were fun and refreshing, as we enjoyed the slightly cooler temperatures in Pinnacle, NC. Highly recommended, Lisa and Todd are amazing hosts.

I rarely write a review and if I do I rarely give more than 4 stars. If I could give A Mighty Oak six stars I would! Todd and Lisa have a wonderful place with views of Pilot Mountain. The breakfast is farm to table and is world class. We will return.

My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway and A Mighty Oak did not disappoint!! Todd and Lisa were very kind, friendly, and helpful. The house and surrounding property was gorgeous with amazing views. The inside of the house was immaculate. But I think what I appreciated the most was that as someone with a food allergy, Todd and Lisa were more than accommodating and mindful of making sure I got to enjoy the same delicious breakfast that everyone else did while making sure my allergy was taken care of. I would give them 10 stars if I could and we will most definitely be back!!

It's a very quiet, lovely area. Only 1 shared TV and you have to stream your show. That would be the only downside.
The owners are terrific and the breakfasts are superb. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We will go back again soon.

This B&B was impeccable in every detail. Todd & Lisa innkeepers helped us feel welcome & pampered our entire visit. Room, setting, breakfast all were created with us as their guests in mind. Our room was welcoming & beautifully decorated, clean & with fabulous views of farm animals + Pilot Mtn. Todd was gracious & welcoming. We would definitely return there on our next trip.

This is more than a B&B. A Mighty Oak is a state of mind. My wife and I love the stately aura of rich historical design in a completely modern structure. I mean, we didn’t hear one squeak in any floorboard! Talkin’ rustic and solid – a wonderful combination. This Inn has impeccable cleanliness and tasteful decor of every room.
We came with another couple who are regular guests at B&B’s all over the USA. They were decisively impressed. We came for the nearby Yadkin Valley wineries but found simply hanging out at A Mighty Oak to be quite pleasant. We sat on rocking chairs on the 2nd floor covered porch as we read or just talked as the stars emerged in the sky. Then we ascended to the 3rd floor for games (ping-pong, board games, TV sports) and reviewed the substantial bookcase.
Of course, a huge facet of any B&B is the proprietor. We all recognize a passion for excellence when we experience one. It’s there in spades with Todd, showing up in attentiveness to our needs and a pleasant, playful grace about him and his wife Lisa. And we saw his excellence in that 2nd “B” in B&B. We’re talking as close to farm-to-table as it gets since the B&B’s rear acreage is home to cows, chicken and plants. And, uh FYI, no smell in the air. Match freshness with culinary excellence and you’ve got an Rx for memorable breakfasts. I mean, I had never had a Scottish Egg and can’t wait to see what Todd has up his sleeve next time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our return visit to stay at A Mighty Oak. The breakfast is amazing, just a great start to the day. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The B&B is on a working farm. Highly recommend a stay here. Just minutes from JOLO Vineyards and other Yadkin Valley wineries.

Delicious and unique farm to table breakfast

The layout of the rooms was very well thought out and the property was very clean. The breakfast was a delectable farm to table offering that kept us going until almost dinner. We stopped here on a trip from Ohio to the N. Carolina beaches and will likely do so again.

Gourmet breakfast from a working B&B farm

We had a stunning view of Pilot Mountain from our bedroom and sitting room windows. Breakfast was over the top with attention to our dietary needs. Host and hostess were gracious, knowledgeable on many subjects about which we had questions. We enjoyed visits to two local wineries and heard from other guests about nearby concerts, festivals and hikes they enjoyed. Wished we could have had more time to sample these and more delicious breakfasts!

Best B&B We have ever stayed in.

Todd & Lisa made this past weekend truly memorable. From the just right furnishings to the delightful balcony with nightly music of cows & roosters, everything was delightful. Todd's breakfasts were truly gourmet experiences. The only reason that I didn't rate everything outstanding is that my computer didn't let me click the 5th dot. Thanks again Todd - we will definitely stay with you again.

The house and rooms were beautiful and in tip top shape. We enjoyed strolling around on the farm. The breakfast was awesome as were the hosts. They made us feel right at home as we chatted during and after our meals. Their knowledge was outstanding about organic and free range foods as well as about sustainability in our environment and daily lives. We would love to attend the workshop when it becomes available. Awesome experience to say the least.

An Impressive B&B Experience!

A modern B&B located on an 87 acre working farm in Pinnicle, NC. Rustic Mt Airy is located close by, together with many vineyards that serve dinners in modern facilities. We spent 3 nights at the B&B and we had a spectacular evening meal one evening prepared by Todd & Lisa. Breakfasts were superb....farm fresh with a presentation unequaled. We were 4 couples doing twice annual B&B jaunts for more than 20 yrs. This B&B tops the list in facility design, professionalism of the proprietors, view and locale, and competitive price. There are local golf courses; a rustic Mt Airy town; Pilot Mountain; and a relaxing family room setting to sip beverages and consume cheeses & other snacks. I strongly recommend this B&B!

A Mighty Oak B&B far exceeded my expectations. It was an idyllic setting with all of the amenities one needs for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were perfectly accommodating, but did not hover. The farm is beautiful, and the view of Pilot Mountain was lovely. I so enjoyed seeing and hearing the farm life, as well as our brief visit with the family dog. Todd's dinner recommendation was spot-on, and breakfast was delicious and completely satisfying. We had a fantastic stay, and I look forward to returning. I was totally at ease here.

Visited 05/04-06/18. Really loved it. And while I admit, this is a bit of a hike from my friend in Greensboro, it was worth it. I was looking for a quiet, sincere place to settle into and feel at ease. I like country settings. I like organic, down-to-earth and farm-to-table. But professionalism; well-appointed, clean rooms; kind hosts and excellent food are always a welcome plus! In my opinion, this place - and the innkeeper(s) - are TOP NOTCH. My host was INCREDIBLY hospitable when my travel times went wonky. He served me a DELICIOUS breakfast fit for a queen. When I settled into my lovely room the first night, I dropped everything, opened a window and, literally, sat on the floor next to it, allowing the cool evening breezes and the sounds of peepers, bullfrogs and quietly grazing cattle melt ALL my tension away. I believe Innkeepers Todd & Lisa absolutely have the talent, resources, wisdom and skills to be in the business they're in. They're charming. You give them a chance. Unless you're the impossible-to-please type, you WILL leave there with a smile on your face. And likely return. Thanks, dear hosts, for making me feel at home.

Beautiful place and amazing hosts!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at AMO last week. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing evening and an amazing breakfast! The food was incredible and the hosts were so kind and thoughtful. It was fun sharing a meal with the other guests in the morning and we wrapped up our stay with some ping pong :) Thank you for the lovely getaway!

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast

Lisa and Todd are fantastic hosts. Breakfast is wholesome and delicious. Todd makes everything from scratch and with fresh farm ingredients. Very gourmet!

The rooms are all suites. You have a beautiful bedroom and a nice bathroom, plus a nice sitting area. The views of the farm and Pilot Mountain are an added feature. Common space for reading, ping pong or socializing. Cost is very reasonable.

Mt. Airy is a great day trip, as is Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock Park. Jolo and Shelton Wineries are nearby as well. Wonderful weekend get-away,

Beautiful location and wonderful hosts!

Lisa and Todd own this B&B and were wonderful hosts. This is a farm -to- table location and when they serve breakfast you'll taste the benefits of this (hint hint... it's delicious). Pilot Mountain is nearby and in the skyline... Beautiful you look at sunrises and very close to enjoy hiking at. Definitely recommend!

The Perfect Anniversary

This bed and breakfast is fabulous. If you are looking for the perfect combination of rest, relaxation, beautiful scenery and accommodations, matched only by the gracious hospitality of the innkeepers, then you need look no further than A Mighty Oak Bed and Breakfast and Intended Way Farm. Lisa and Todd Morse open their home and breakfast table up to their guests with cozy, comfortable, spacious rooms and the most delectable, health-ful, and fresh from their farm breakfast you could ever hope for. We spent our 25th Anniversary weekend here and could not get enough of the accommodations and gorgeous scenery of the farm and surrounding area. Even \"Peace,\" the Morse's big dog, was a welcoming presence for the guests. Lisa and Todd truly embrace sharing their home and intentional way of life with their guests. Truly an all around enjoyable and memorable weekend during which to spend our anniversary. Can't recommend A Mighty Oak any higher. We will be going back. You should too!

The Best B&B. No brag. Just fact!

I'm going to be to the point. If you want an outstanding experience in family atmosphere hospitality, then you need to stay here. It's rural, it's quiet (yes, the roosters or cows may wake you up), the food, and its presentation, is excellent and the owners are beyond great hosts. When my wife and I are in this area of NC, we won't think twice about staying here.

quick getaway for a wedding

this was mine and my husbands first stay at a B & B and needless to say from now on everyone we stay at will have high expectations! this place was so nice and quaint! Todd & Lisa were just amazing hosts! so thankful they let us into their home and I am thankful to have me both of them. the food was amazing! Todd fixed us breakfast and it was delicious and right out of a food magazine! Not to mention Lisa's biscuits were so good!! Love the farm to table B & B here. Our room had an amazing view of pilot mountain and we laid in bed on sunday morning and could watch the sunrise from our bed. very comfortable and beautiful atmosphere! will return soon, you can count on it! thanks again Todd & Lisa! 9.30.17-10-1-17

Wonderful Place To Stay

This B&B is top shelf excellent. Room was very very nice clean wonderful view. The owners were outstanding very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was better than any restaurant, Todd explained where the food came from as far as the farm is concerned. The whole experience was great perfect for couples as a romantic getaway.

Beyond happy to have stayed at A Mighty Oak B&B!

As I was looking for accommodations in our first Bed & Breakfast, I found A Mighty Oak and was immediately drawn to their mission. I read their story and farming practices and was impressed! I was also happy to learn about their commitment to good environmental stewardship and their beyond-organic gardening practices, composting, and recycling as an integral part of their day to day operations. I was not disappointed in the least, for everything they describe in their website was a modest description of the awesome place A Mighty Oak B&B truly is! The view of Pilot Mountain from our room (the French Blue Room) was spectacular. The room was beautifully decorated and clean and the sitting area was just charming. My daughter and I enjoyed the amenities in the media/library/game room. (Love the books!!) Space will not permit me to go into detail about all the beauty, peacefulness of this place, nor of the extreme kindness and care of our wonderful hosts, Todd and Lisa, but I must tell you about the tasty, healthful breakfast we enjoyed. Everything was farm raised and delicious. We had the Scottish Eggs, after our morning herbal tea and fresh fruit medley, all presented in a visually pleasing manner fresh flowers and all. Todd was very informative and took great interest in us and explained where all the food served was carefully selected from their own farm and other farms nearby. We will definitely be back to visit the Morse's at this God honoring place, alive with goodness and wholesomeness at so many levels! We are most grateful for the experience!!!

We stayed for one night in the French Blue Suite. Room was very clean and well furnished. View outside our window of Pilot Mountain was breathtaking. We visited a local winery and enjoyed one of the bottles on the patio of the B&B that evening. Breakfast was on par of what one would expect at a five star dining experience.
