I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Fairbridge Hotel, and my experience was extremely disappointing. As a frequent traveler for work, I've never encountered such subpar service. To illustrate, I was knocked on my door at 11:01 by the receptionist, telling me that it was time to check out. The previous day, I had inquired about a late checkout and was aware of the additional $25 fee for an extra hour. Furthermore, the same receptionist had given me a hard time during check-in, claiming I didn't have a reservation despite having the confirmation in hand. The hotel's amenities also left much to be desired, with worn-out linens and a dirty toilet. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this hotel in the future.

I walked into the fairbridge hotel around 1:50 pm. The reception said, it was ok to check in at that time since check in was at 2:00 pm however, she started looking for my reservation and started questioning about if I had a reservation because she could not find my name. I show her my reservation number but it was not good enough for her. She demanded that I call Travelocity Because she could not find my name.
After 40 minutes she finally found my reservation handed me the keys and not even an apologies for the inconvenience and her rudeness

My trip was for two night. On Sunday it was 11:01 and the same receptionist knocks on my door and says it’s time for you to leave because checkout is at 11:00. I travel a lot and never had any other hotel receptionist knock on my door a minute after checkout time. The night before I had inquired about the cost of staying a one hour after checkout which they said it was $25.00 reason why I was staying a little longer.

Clearness of Hotel:

The linen is not very clean. The white towels look brown, the windows are dirty and the employee was rude.

In the future the fairbridge hotel will not be the place were I’m going to be staying.

Staff was amazing. It is clear the staff is keeping this older property in repair. There are signs of work being performed, which i take as a good sign. I caught the end of breakfast, so it is unfair to the staff to evaluate a buffet as they close it. The air condition was great.

Linens on bed and towels in bathroom were both clean and pleasantly soft.
The only negative that I might mention is that lighting in room was sparce and room was rather dark and gloomy even with all lights turned on.

Towel(s) literally were RAGGED - one was missing material the size of a plate!!! Water pressure is VERY low - couldn't even spray my body down without getting directly under the shower head. Bedding on par with the shower supplies. The \"Continental Breakfast\"......half-raw biscuits and gravy!
Absolutely NO way I'll stay here again.

I would not Stay here again! The rooms we all (group of 4 families and 4 rooms) were staying in were nothing like the pictures in the booking photos on Hotels.com. The carpets hadn’t been vacuumed, the sheet and bedding had stains and burn holes in them, bugs in the rooms, the sheets were dirty in some rooms with food and hair that our families went down and got sheets and change them ourselves. I asked for our sheets and bedding to be changed when we came back all they did was make the bed with the SAME exact sheets that were already on the bed. But booking it through here we were stuck at this hotel because we had already paid.

The front desk attendant was ok, no complaint there. But once you walked into the hallway, it smelled really bad! Everything is very old. The shower was clean, but everything else seemed dirty. The carpet in the room had lots of stains. I found a cockroach in the bathroom the morning we were checking out.
The area around was ok, we got in late at night and didn’t feel unsafe.
Thankfully we only stayed one night and didn’t really hang out there much. But I will definitely never stay there again.

The room was “nonsmoking” yet there was an ashtray and it smelled nasty. The towels were dirty. Requested new ones but we had to take the current ones to get “clean” ones. The phone did not work so I had to use my phone to call the 24 hour customer service. When I told them we needed clean washed towels I was told that they just needed to order new ones but management did not think it was necessary for that expensive. The room had crumbs under bed that were there since check in. The curtains did not close all the way. And there were bugs in the bathroom. I will never stay here again

Old hotel which I knew about but chose anyway based on reviews that did not match my experience. Non smoking room on a smoking floor - hallway reeked of cigarette smell. Why did my room have an ashtray if it’s non smoking? Clump of hair on the shower facets and vanity. Toilet paper holder coming out of the wall. Stains on floor, sofa, and top bedding. Darkening curtains don’t close so the bright parking lot light shined on the bed all night. Had to use pant hangers to keep curtains closed. Hard thumping sound throughout the night about every 15 - 30 minutes (refrigerator?), train noise throughout the night, and old a/c unit turning off/on loudly so unable to sleep. Front desk service ladies were nice.

We stayed for two days. When I booked the room, I was glad they had a fitness room. My daughter needed to do her therapy for her leg injury. When we went to start, the fitness room was filled with boxes and all the equipment was shoved to the back. I went to ask the front clerk and she said they were remodeling and need a place for to store item. The next morning, my husband went for breakfast at 8:30 am and there was no breakfast. They had already started cleaning up. We didn’t bother the next day. Our room didn’t seem that cleaned as well. We didn’t notice it until the evening after we came back. There were crumbs under the desk along with plastic spoon and the counters had cup rings. The beds and restroom were clean. Would not stay there again!

I absolutely love staying here. The owner Pratik and the manager Ms. Marsha are a delight they have yet to forget who i am when i come and stay. They are both kind and very friendly always have a smile on their face. Also Ms. Marsha the manager she's so sweet. They are both willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay a great one, very accommodating and friendly. If there is anything I need or a problem, they are quick to come in and fix it. So, if you want to stay somewhere where its affordable and nice this is the place to be.

Front desk lady was friendly, but did just what was required. She made the comment during check in “let’s get you a better room”. I’m not sure if she actually did, but if what we received was a “better room”, I would hate to see what we would have got. The room was clean, but definitely needed some love. Bathroom was dirty, absolutely no water pressure in shower, and no hot water. Didn’t realize until I needed it, but there was not a blow dryer for my hair. Pillows were flat and smelled weird. Will not be back.

No coffee maker in the room no cups the shower had no pressure.Could not take a decent shower...The pool was green and trash floating in it..The breakfast area is too small for guests to take advantage of the breakfast..Had to go to Whataburger to get coffee and breakfast..Please take down the signs that are pointing to the ice machine and vending..That room is cluttered with hugh bags of who knows what..We were on the third floor..The staff was nice and polite.

While the prices were welcoming we found some staff didn’t seem interested in our not having cable amd their responsewas just short of disrespectful and no one ever checked to see if it was restored. Water pressure can be compared to a sprinkler. Breakfast hours needs some adjustments as well as offering some healthy options

They booked us initially in a room with someone already inside. Then they upgraded us to a “nicer” room which looks like it hasn’t been updated since 1970 and was quite dirty. The beds were decent and it was quiet. I think the hotel is being remodeled so it’s a mess. The area of town is also not great.

The front desk was very nice and accommodating to our needs. We could not book a wheelchair/ handicap accessible room online, when we arrived there she was able to move us to one with out any extra charge which was weird not any way she did.

Having a young child when we booked online would have been nice to know the pool was closed and out of service.
There is a lack of good communication between the owner and staff.
Overall I would give it a one star
The person at the front desk a 5 start for being sweet and helpful (at check in)

I got there late due to traffic. Upon entering & telling the lady I wanted to check in she said, “Hope you had a reservation.” I thought that was rude. She gives me my key & I got to my room. I thought someone was in there because the bed was a mess & the room had clearly not been cleaned. She put me in a non smoking room which when entering smelled like stale smoke plus there was an ashtray in the room. The next day I leave to go grab a few things at the store. I get back & my card didn’t work. Go to the front desk & she tells me they had my card expired. It showed I was only checked in for one night but yet showed I paid for the week. The pool was not operational which I was very disappointed. The day I checked out I hand the lady my key. As I was backing out of the parking lot she calls me & tells me I still have a balance. I said for what? She said they didn’t charge me tax. She said she tried to run my card before calling me. I will definitely BOT be back

Definitely price gouging during the eclipse. $100 quality for much more. The place desperately needs removation - floor peeling up, filthy black hand prints on the bathroom walls, probably can get the floor cleaner. It was very obvious this room wasnt rented often with the lack of supplies and the look of furniture thrown in plus the key card not working (\"often doesnt after the time change\" which was a while ago...)
Good bones to the biulding just not kept up.

The property is old and dated and needs a facelift. Our room had a musty smell and could and at a minimum could use new carpet and a paint. The \"breakfast\" is basically all starch. No eggs or fruit essentially just cereal, we went elsewhere for breakfast. Paid way to much for this room but it was one of the few rooms available due to the influx of people to see the eclipse.

First Time Experience

Booked the queen suite for the weekend to attend a family members wedding. The hotel was very clean, smelling great and staff were observed to be consistently cleaning all areas. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. Staff experience was very pleasant and helpful during all interactions. The parking options were great with no issues for vehicle concern.
Cons: The water pressure was horrible, only ice machine for the whole 3 floor hotel was located on the 1st floor, the breakfast buffet was extremely minimal and the door to our room didn't seal properly or lock too great. Leaving a large gap all the way around the frame with the hall light protruding through all night.
Overall first time experience, we would return for another stay!
