A Gem of a Place to Stay in Mariposa
Wonderful family owned inn with a friendly staff, large rooms, and they accommodated my reqest for a first floor room. Close to two entrances into Yosemite. Just down the street is a wonderful nostalgic restaurant called the Happy Burger Diner; their 7 page menu has something for everyone and the portions are large and reasonably priced.

Friendly staff, clean facility, reasonably priced, and within walking distance to restaurants (we recommend 1850 down the street). My room was clean and spacious. I was given a corner room that was away from the hustle and bustle, so it was nice and quiet. I arrived early, hoping to just get a room key before catching a YARTS bus to Yosemite, and Kirsten was so kind and gracious, allowing me to go ahead and check in to my room a few hours early so I could go ahead and unpack and get settled since it would be quite late before I got back that night.
The property is very well-located. It is right across from a tourist information spot and there are several dining options within walking distance. The park and ride for the YARTS bus was just a short drive (1-2 minutes). The price was very reasonable compared to other nearby locations.
