Well for starters the water being unsafe with PFAS exceeding normal levels put us off, so not a great start. Unless camping indoors and using water bottles to wash your face and brush your teeth is your thing. It’s an old building with matching air conditioning unit ls that have a real setting of too cold with it on or hot without it on. The towels were scratchy and the pillows were small. The only nice thing about this hotel was the kind woman who checked us out of our room. Would never come back. Upset we didn't choose a different hotel.

The hotel layout is actually not clear from the hotel description and should be made clear for the benefit of the future guests. Many families who are sensitive to noise typically insist on staying at the top floor. Here, it is really the third floor of the hotel which is at road level, and the first and second floor are below the road level. The hotel lobby is on the third floor.
We first took a room on the fourth floor, we were told that's the only room available. Checking in we found that the phone in that room doesn't work, but more importantly, the room has a lot of road noise, being close to the road. We decided we would change the room.
There was a single lady who helped us check in before, and this time when we went, she must have gone to do something but we had to wait in the lobby for 20+ minutes before she came back. She was able to give us a room on the second floor.
The room on the second floor didn't have any road noise, being under the road level. But the entire AC/heating unit didn't work at all. It was a hot night, we wanted to turn on the AC, but none of the buttons worked.
Next morning, when we went to use the shower, we found that the water didn't pass easily and the tub got clogged. We didn't get any immediate assistance, and our checkout time was coming near. But we took pictures and videos and showed them at the time of checking out.

I have never written any comments before on hotel or restaurants but this was due! Carpet was stained, bathroom had been redone, which was best part, not enough outlets, only one channel on TV worked staff came up and checked out and said oh we have had trouble with that, no fix. The ironing board was hung on wall behind window curtain, no closet or anywhere to hang anything and no hangars. Extremely Overpriced!!!! Site shows fruit and danish, and one review said free breakfast but never saw any food so they may have been confused about hotels when they wrote review.

I have pictures and video. The TV didn’t work. It had picture but no sound they brought up a new TV had no picture no sound that was the only extra TV they had when we went to shut the curtains when we got there they were all ripped and falling off the rails there was holes in the sheets holes in the bedding. The carpets were stained. The bed felt like they had crumbs in them. I had to remake the bed first night we slept on top of everything second night. I asked for fresh sheets.

TV reception is terrible, carpet needs replacing, breakfast is bread and cereal. No orange juice and cream cheese only one of the days. It is about an hour and 5 minute drive into Yosemite. On the plus side the pressure in the shower was fantastic and lots of restaurants in the area.

Great location to Yosemite and on the main street. Comfortable bed and space. Bathroom had some paint and mold issues. It would have been great to have a closet or hanging space.

My first night was awful. The room above me partied until 2 in the morning. I called the front desk three times. The last call was at 1:45 am. I guess the last call worked when threatened with the Sheriff arriving.

It was good but the room given to us was just ok because it was on the ground/1st floor and the view we had was a brick wall.
There were other guest who checked in after us and they got better rooms. I wonder we got a brick wall view because we booked through Hotels.com 😁There was no power points near or at the night stand and there were four power points in just one place at a corner of the room!!!!!! We had to unplug the refrigerator and coffee machine to charge our phones overnight. The continental breakfast was good. It was not a bad experience at all but not worth the money we paid and I didn’t like/appreciate the brick wall view as it made the room dark😞

Hotel was ok BUT there is no where to hang clothes - no closet/wardrobe and no hooks.
Bed was just OK, we needed to leave the air con on as it was very hot and it is very noisy but nowhere as noisy as the plumbing in the room next door - it sounded like a jet engine every time they flushed the toilet or had a shower.

The hotel was very nice. Not so close to Yosemite but a very nice ride to and from. Mariposa is lacking in places to eat.

This place is fantastic! Families with kids will love it. The complimentary breakfast, not even mentioned in the Expedia Amenities, was a delightful surprise. Its central location provides easy access to all the shops and restaurants in Mariposa.
