Property has great potential but needs a staff and leadership that pays attention to details...Grounds and beds need to be airblown clean, Rooms do not have comfortable bedding, no coffee machine or complimenartary bottle of water. Bell boys on golf carts were fabulous, but check-in staff did not show us where breakfast was nor did they tell us about or offer us a welcome drink until we asked about it. Breakfast was poor. None came for us to order coffee, breads were stale, scrambled egg station waited over a half hour for them to refill.....same with sliced meats. Prices of drinks are excessive and higher then most 5 star hotels in Italy. Room decor was very modest and bathroom was very small.

Perfect getaway

This is a beautiful hotel in olive groves. It’s very romantic and the staff go out of their way to help you. Breakfast is a very good buffet and the evening meals are delicious. It wasn’t very busy during the week but got busier at weekends. Easy to catch the train into Naples, about 1 1/4 hours for the airport. lovely area to explore

This is an excellent hotel from rooms to staff to location. The Michelin star restaurant on-site makes it wonderful.
- Lunch: The service at the other restaurant on property with different staff is not always on top of things. (Some of the Michelin staff start their day here, and they are amazing.)
- Breakfast buffet is fabulous.

Two points to note:
- pillows are standard stiff foam and no options are available. Consider bringing your own.
- fitness room. Noted in website, but unavailable.

If you’re looking for a getaway, Aquapetra should be on your list.

After watching the series of first dates hotel, I surprised my partner with a weekend at Aquapetra for his 50th Birthday surprise.
It was a lovely relaxing weekend in a ideal surreal setting. Aquapetra is beautiful.
The only thing we could fault is one evening/night we had a very large dog roaming and barking outside of our apartment on several occasions.
We were also not offered out welcome drinks and when questioning the staff on checking out, we were told that we should have requested this from the bar, which we were not told.
Fairly expensive onsite but this was expected, this outweighed the visit on this special occasion.

The hotel is beautiful especially the pool and the spa. Breakfast excellent though you need to pay for an omlette which is a bit cheeky.

Staff are generally superhelpful

Food is excellent though very expensive. Local town close by has lots of good eating options

An amazing hotel that is all about relaxing. The staff were truly wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was described as standard but was far beyond - beautiful, large and quiet. The pool and surrounding area was immaculate and offered a fantastic location to relax and chill. The food was simply outstanding. Would definitely visit again!

We flew to Naples and hired a car as the resort is about an hour away. A taxi would cost upwards of €200. You would need a taxi to get anywhere, and there aren’t many of them. The staff were very attentive and arrived at the car park when we did to transport our cases, and us. The location is breathtakingly beautiful and the resort was blissfully peaceful. This is not really a child friendly resort although we did have a 4 year old with us. For example, no ice creams of any sort available and not allowed to eat a packet of crisps by the pool - although dogs are allowed in the restaurant we noted. The spa area is lovely and again it was very quiet. The rooms are also lovely. We had a junior suite and a superior room and we were very happy with the accommodation. Stylish rooms with air con, a safe, robes for the pool, champagne on ice on arrival and a balcony but not all rooms have a view. I would say this is the perfect couples retreat, not a family resort, but I loved it. Full of character and charm with all the comforts of a now famous hotel and spa.

Remote so not easy for people travelling by public transport but a fantastic place to stay and relax. Great food and service. Going in mid September meant the weather was great but not too hot. The rooms were very clean, but perhaps needed information on how to work/locate things and how to use the spa etc. The manager Enrico, was the perfect host and so welcoming. Clearly, the hotel appearing on First Dates Hotel TV show has given the spa a very high profile (at least in the UK). We weren't the only ones tempted by the images from the show. Highly recommended 🤓

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Aquapetra for 3 nights. The staff could not have been more helpful and accomodating, arranging transport, allowing a early check in when we arrived earlier than expected and even making us a takeaway breakfast when we checked out early for our flight home. The atmosphere was relaxing and 5* without being stuffy or snobby. The hotel itself was beautiful, rooms are basic but more than suitable for a short stay. The hotel itself is quite remote and the nearest town is very small so be prepared to stay onsite unless you have your own transport.

Aquapetra’s Star Staff!!!!

Fabulous service!! This place is beautiful but the real stars were the staff. My husband is in a wheelchair and at all times, we had help when we needed it. The hotel is surrounded by cobblestone paths, but the staff make sure that help is always at hand. Both Luca and Antonio the maintenance men were fantastic. Jon Marco from the restaurant was also marvellous!!! The cleaning ladies were superb, all the staff were! We ate at La Loggia under olive trees - absolutely sublime - and the deep tissue massage at the spa cannot be faulted. Only faults - they didn’t have scales for checking the weight of our bags, and the pillows were not the best I’ve slept with…

A stunning place where each and every detail is almost perfect. Total relax is guaranteed, surrounded by the beautiful contrast between stones and trees. Staff is helpful in any possible way. In July it's not very crowded and it was like having two personal pools, indoor and outdoor, at home.

Checkin was good and we got picked up in a golf buggy from the carpark which was only a 50 metre walk.

Hotel room was nice, missed a few of the corners during cleaning. Bathroom was cosy but very narrow.

We had an issue at the Spa as the receptionist could not understand our English which caused an issue, manager resolved this.

Dinner was amazing! The portion sizes aren't great for the price but the quality was out of this world. Paid €28 for 2 glasses of local wine.

Breakfast was ok. Hot options of Bacon and Scrambled Egg and cold options of pastries, ham & cheese and fruit juices. On our walk to breakfast we both slipped on the cobbles outside our room as the gardener was washing them.

In all it was a lovely stay but I'd say it wasn't worth the money.

Flights got cancelled so tried contacting the hotel through there website on three occasion no acknoledgement.Got a phonecall from hotel on day of booking asking where we were explained everthing to them really rude on the phone saying it was our fault and they have now taken the money out of our bank account.Have not replied to emails and refused to give us a refund .customer service absaloute shocking. We were hoping to book this hotel later in the year or next year when things improved with covid-19

the stairs into the pool had broken tiles. my husband cut his foot on the step. spa facility didn't have any first aid. we had to wait for hotel stuff went to pharmacy. the blooding was really bad but hotel didn't drive us to ER. my husband had to drive our car to the emergency room. my husband took more than 10 days to get his wounds healed. want money back. couldn't use spa at all!!!!

Wonderful 4 night relaxing stay with my wife and teenage daughter. Picturesque resort with lovely attention to detail.
Pool area and spa with additional heated pool was totally indulgent, aesthetically pleasing and met all of our varied needs. Excellent fine dining in their Michelin starred restaurant. Staff were very polite and attentive throughout which enhanced our experience.

A little peace and quiet time away

Ideal for time away from everything, i had high expectations for this hotel, after seeing it on First Dates Hotel TV show. Luxury!
Sadly we had windy and cold days during our stay, we could only use the indoor pool, but that turned out to be a plus as the outdoor pool is in a sorry state, it was filthy dirty and bits missing from the ground surface, needs some TLC. The internet connection was awful even though you have a wifi box in the room. No tea/coffee facilities in the room.
The grounds are wonderful, the views are spectacular. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
The local town/village isn't much going on there, a few cafes and restaurants but they are far apart from each other. The restaurant on site is expensive, €20 for a starter, we decided against eating there as the choices on the menu wasn't really for us.
The indoor pool was nice, warm and well looked after, the leather sunloungers are very comfortable.
The rooms are nice, toiletries provided but no hair conditioner. You get luxury robes, flip flops which everyone goes to the pool in. The bed is very comfortable.
Im all a nice stay.

Beautiful old place - just don't forget details

Lovely old buildings in beautiful location. Breakfast great but didn't think the attempt at fancyifying the Italian food at dinner really came off - much better if they kept it rustic. Staff very friendly and welcoming - top marks there.

The spa was nice though no jacuzzi was a shame. The room was really nice with a great terrace but, as is often the case at such places, not enough attention has been made to keep the decor looking spotless - lots of bashes and scrapes/marks along the walls of the room from other people's luggage etc. Also - another trick which even the top-end hotels miss (and every place we stayed in Italy similarly missed), the shower head was full of limescale and so the water flow was at only about 30% until I used my fingernails to scrape off the crusted residue from the individual holes.

Magical Setting

A magical setting up in the hills an hour from Naples,
Staff were friendly and helpful, even with very little English.
The whole place has it's own special charm not withstanding it's First Dates fame.
Very quiet when we were there suited us.
Pool could do with some maintenance (leaves etc) and some areas look a little neglected.
Great cocktails and food in the bar/bistro area (although service a little slow - maybe as it was so quiet)
Wouldn't allow our 17 month old in the indoor pool as was part of the spa (very disappointing).
We got the train there and were collected in a (small) staff car. Dropped back off in town following day in a (dirty) works car.
Found out all trains were cancelled and the hotel arranged a driver for us for €120 back to the airport.

The location and setting is superb. The whole stay was let down by the restaurant which was over-priced for the food they were serving, which was just average. The menu is very limited. Ordered a burger and chips from the bar menu one day and for €22 literally got a beef pattie with a 'small' portion of fried potato chips, no bun, no garnish/ salad, very poor. Breakfast was pretty under-whelming, cold eggs and bacon and more tinned fruit than you'd expect from this part of the world.

The staff were very polite, pleasant and accommodating though. It would take more than a naff restaurant to put me off Italy or the lovely Italian people.

Hotel is magic - but sadly no Merlin!

Really lovely hotel literally in the middle of know where. Hire car is essential. The drive from the airport is 'interesting' and the best advice is keep to the right as there will be a local definitely on your left hurtling by you way in excess of the speed limit - welcome to Italy! Food at the hotel was excellent, the breakfast buffet was also excellent. All staff were lovely and left you well alone.

Hotel is in a very peaceful setting, the facilities are great. Downside was they were building so the were power tools being used throughout the day which was a little annoying and would have been nice to be told about before.
The buildings and grounds are amazing and the hotel could easily become a 5* if it had the right management and a little staff training.
The room was spacious but a little cold in feeling, the terrace was filthy and could do with a lick of paint for sure. Tea and coffee facilities in the room are needed.
The reateraunt was great and the food was amazing, I felt a little for the staff as it seemed to be the same 3 that were there for every meal and working the bar and doing room service!
We tried a hotel up the road one evening for dinner but it was a shambles and we left and ended up back at the aqua Petra. The surrounding area is a little Barron and not great.
Overall a pleasant stay minus the building (once this is done it won’t be an issue and there will be a bigger spa)
A couple of nights is perfect, anymore and you may start to get a little bored.

It was a shame but the hotel did not really deliver on service.
The hotel, grounds, pool, spa rooms are great, but the service really let it down.
The hotel is spread out in different buildings and it would have been really useful for an initial guide of where things are
There was a bar but this was never open ( and we actually only found it on our last day )
It was extremely difficult to catch one of the waiters serving drinks around the pool and when you did it would then take an age for them to bring them to you.As the bar wasn't open you had no choice but to wait
The restaurant was lovely , with wonderful views but the menu was small and after 4 days we had exhausted all options, and the service was slow due to lack of staff
I felt the food was expensive, especially comparing to hotels in Santa Margherita and Sorrento ( our previous stops)
The spa was good and the therapies good too, and not too expensive
I feel the hotel needs to rethink a couple of things because the waiting for food, drinks, coffee ect really did get irritating after the 2nd day, especially as the hotel is tucked away, if you don't have a car you can't go anywhere else!

Sono già stata ad Aquapetra in passato e proprio per questo ho deciso di tornarci con aspettative alte.
Location splendida, cibo eccellente e spa bella. Purtroppo il servizio fiori in camera è stato una grande delusione.
Per 50€ sono arrivate tre rose rosse e un girasole visibilmente appassiti, senza alcuna cura o presentazione. Era una sorpresa per il 40° compleanno del mio fidanzato.
Al check-out ho mostrato sia i fiori sia la foto scattata appena entrata in suite, ma non c’è stata alcuna attenzione concreta o gesto riparativo. Mi è stato solo detto che, trattandosi di un servizio esterno, non potevano fare nulla e che “la prossima volta” ci sarebbe stata un’attenzione in più.
Considerando una spesa complessiva superiore ai 700€, mi aspettavo almeno un minimo di riguardo immediato, non una promessa futura.
Peccato, perché con maggiore attenzione sarebbe stata un’esperienza davvero impeccabile.

Camera pulita ma in linea con il prezzo pagato. Il bagno piccolo e senza alcun tipo di appoggio nemmeno per un beauty. Camera grande ma giusto per una notte, mancano comfort quali un armadio ed uno specchio idoneo. Nella camera assegnataci c’era uno specchio davanti la porta di ingresso .

Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare solo una notte in questa struttura, ma è bastato per capire che si tratta di un luogo davvero unico e incantevole. Un albergo diffuso immerso nel verde di un parco meraviglioso fatto di ulivi e lecci nel cuore del Sannio: un angolo di paradiso, difficile da descrivere a parole.
Le camere, con i loro dettagli in pietra, sono curate e suggestive; la piscina con annessa spa è un’oasi di relax. La ristorazione è straordinaria: dal ristorante stellato al ristorante à la carte, fino alla colazione, tutto è di altissimo livello per qualità e servizio.
Un posto che trasmette pace e benessere, dal quale è davvero difficile andar via. Il personale, sempre gentile e impeccabile, rende l’esperienza ancora più speciale.
Un soggiorno spettacolare, che consiglio assolutamente a chi cerca autenticità, relax e bellezza.

Siamo venuti in questa struttura attirati dalle foto e dalle recensioni trovate.
Se ci andate per la spa lasciate stare perché una sauna è rotta e ci sono solo due piscine con due piccole sedute con idromassaggio, inoltre sono piene di gente nonostante il limite orario a cui vincolano gli ospiti.
Abbiamo trascorso un weekend molto al di sotto delle aspettative perché sicuramente la struttura non è un 4 stelle come indicato.
Le camere sono mal tenute (wc senza sciacquone, lavandino otturato, poggia asciugamani rotto, mobili usurati..).
Ci hanno dato la camera 226 che è una stanza buia, con luci rosse e un bagno che è un cunicolo...insomma molto diversa da quelle pubblicizzate sul sito e sui siti partner come booking, Expedia ecc.
Abbiamo chiesto di cambiarla ma senza successo anzi ci è stato detto che se volevamo cambiare stanza avremmo dovuto pagare un sovrapprezzo scontato da 200€ a 150€ solo per \"aiutarci\".
A ciò si sono aggiunti dei problemi tecnici che neanche in un motel mi sognerei di trovare
Il wc era rotto e abbiamo dovuto chiamare l'assistenza per poter far sbloccare lo sciacquone.
Dopo ci siamo accorti anche che il lavandino era otturato ed è dovuto venire un altro ragazzo che ha cercato di risolvere invano ed esclamando:scarica lentamente ma scarica. In presenza una receptionist che controllava se avessimo otturato noi il lavandino per farle un dispetto, del tutto manager assente.davvero un peccato che sia gestita da gente poco capace che non cura manutenzione e

Spa con accesso di tre ore al giorno e un ora il giorno successivo….
Piscine piccolissime e idromassaggi nn funzionanti.
Persolale eccellente,le camere poco confortevoli. Nel bagno la cabina doccia mancava di vetrata, ovviamente dopo la doccia c’era un disastro! Il cibo è ottimo ma molto caro. Nn ci ritornerei! Troppo caro per quello che offre

Oasi di pace che trasmette tanto relax grazie alla natura che circonda la struttura.
Il ristorante stellato rispetta a pieno le aspettative e rende magnifico il soggiorno.
Colazione ottima anche se da un resort ci si aspetta qualcosa in più incluso.
La spa non ha soddisfatto a pieno le nostre aspettative, migliorabile!
Camera Classic in linea.
Elemento non gestibile dalla struttura, ma non piacevole specie in periodi invernali, la necessità di uscire all’esterno per raggiungere ogni ambiente.

Borgo incantevole, bar e ristoranti molto curati, cibo ottimo, servizio professionale sia nel ristorante che nel ricevimento.
La Spa è bella, ma leggermente trascurata, nella ruggine che si ritrova un po’ ovunque, si comprende che la struttura ha qualche anno. La camera che avevamo prenotato non era assolutamente all’altezza del contesto.Le dimensioni erano veramente ridotte, mobilio di bassa qualità, la ringhiera del balcone completamente arrugginita.Il bagno piccolo, scomodo, privo di qualsiasi base di appoggio, Il phon vecchio, malmesso e a dir poco rumoroso.

Delusa da questo soggiorno. Acqua della piscina fredda, nonostante i reclami c’è stato detto che la temperatura fosse a 31 gradi, ma l’acqua risultava molto fredda. Stanza non da resort, pulizia superficiale, cuscini e materasso estremamente scomodi, è stato molto difficile dormire. Le stanze non sono insonorizzate e sembrava ci piovesse in stanza per il rumore.
Per quello che si paga per una notte è impensabile dormire in una stanza del genere. La colazione ottima.

Abbiamo trascorso due giorni in questa struttura fantastica. Personale gentilissimo e attento ad ogni nostra richiesta. Consiglio di non uscire dal complesso durante il soggiorno, per non perdere quella sensazione di essere immersi in un paradiso terrestre.
Colazione molto varia e ricca, unico consiglio che mi sento di dare è quello di fare un pò più attenzione alla freschezza delle torte e delle crostate.

Endroit de villégiature magique!

Aquapetra resort & Spa est l’un des meilleurs endroits où nous sommes allés séjourner. Le site est enchanteur et l’accueil est chaleureux. Endroit charmant et romantique avec une piscine à couper le souffle! La vue sur les montagnes est magnifique. Notre chambre avec terrasse était très confortable.
Je recommande cet endroit sans hésiter. J’espère avoir la chance d’y retourner un jour
