The hotel receptionist Pedro was fantastic. He was professional, helpful and kind. He should be promoted to manager. The kitchens delivered up delicious food. Our server in the restaurant was forgetful though. We stayed one night in the Design hotel and the other night in the Kroener connected sister hotel. Both of our rooms were beautiful, well decorated, spacious and clean. I recommend these hotels.

Big, beautiful room , and quiet. That was good. Staff not very friendly or helpful. Like others said, I was never able to log on to the Internet. Parking was free. Hotel was a bit difficult to find. Overall well worth the price.

Our room was on the first floor with 5 windows over looking the buzy square.
I felt very exposed and uncomfortable. You had to close the curtains to get dressed or if coming in or out of the bathroom.
It would be simple to put up privacy curtains or frosted glass.
This aspect spoiled our stay.

Great relaxing stay for a few days

Had a great stay over Easter Weekend. Lovely hotel and town! The room was nicer than expected (we had a Junior suite). Breakfast was good. The only downside was the pool/spa was very crowded.
I would definitely stay again the next time in in the area.

Best Place to Stay in Clervaux

The hotel, room, and staff were all exceeding of our expectations. The room was comfy, spacious, and had plenty of amenities. The pool and spa area was very nice and relaxing. The pool was a bit small and seemed to struggle to accommodate the amount of people there. There was a slight hiccup with housekeeping not having our room ready by 15:00 but the lady checking us in went out of her way to make sure we were still happy and comfortable while we waited an additional 15 or so minutes. It really wasn't an issue.

great staff in restaurants with delicious food breakfast and the Italian restaurant. room pretty and comfortable but shower door came off hinge (i am a 5 foot tall and 120 lb female-not that strong). but the worst was the unwelcoming beginning to our stay. No parking. drove up to front of hotel. no lobby, no bellman/valet. we had to leave the car and take the elevator up to a dingy office to check in and beg for help with our baggage. Parking garage has a rough angle to get into, difficult to maneuver. Spots are tiny. Not a 5 star experience.

Large, clean, comfortable, modern room.
Maybe too modern. I was unable to convince the thermostat that I wanted the room cooler. Reception advised me to do what I had already discovered after several hours of no change. Eventually the temp dropped 1 degree overnight. I was unable to find a wall switch to activate the outlet connected to the coffee maker in the morning. I gave up in frustration.
The hotel has also managed to design boutique signs which fail to clarify anything. It took three help requests to find reception when we arrived. I suppose I could just be stupid, but I had no problems with the first 37 days of my trip and all those hotels.
Could have been a five star rating but I found it too irritating to return.
Breakfast was pretty good.

Luxury away from the tourists.

Absolutely blown away by how gorgeous and luxurious this hotel is!! After being crammed into typical tiny hotel rooms around Europe for the week prior, we were pinching ourselves when we entered our room. It was so spacious, so comfy. We didn't want to leave, and agreed we would come back to spend a week. The town was refreshingly free of tourists, so we got to enjoy a real breather, living like a local for the day. Considering we paid the same here for our room as we did for a 'matchbox' in Paris, Clervaux Boutique & Design Hotel was outstanding.

Great spa in a very quiet town

We came for the spa, included in the room price- it was a winner: sauna, steam room, salt room, infrared room and whirlpool/pool with a relaxation room. I was disappointed with the massage as it did not relax me much.
Fabulous breakfast, comfy bed and great bath.
Disappointed in the decor- odd pictures of faces. Disappointed in the size of the town. Nearby photo exhibit on the family of man was astounding.

Weekend in Clervaux

Design hotel, nicely furnished, not always practical tough. The sauna area is great, the pool and Jacuzzi had too cold water. If you want some spa services, book it way ahead your arrival, they are fully booked. Staff is very nice, helpful. Pleasant weekend overall.

Superb hotel. Just one small detail which is easy for the hotel to adjust. In the shower, there is a soap dish to put soap in - perfect. As a woman, I had nowhere, except the floor, to put my hair shampoo and conditioner - maybe an easy to install metal 'shelf/cage structure' just big enough to put shampoo & conditioner near the soap dish! ;)

We reserved this hotel thinking it was in Luxembourg city. It is NOT. One hour north in the country mountains.
But boy were we glad we were forced that we came along this haven in such a resort style European village.
The suites are incredibly modern. The bathroom was superb. You don't want to leave the room.
The small restaurants around it are quite romantic. Parking must be reserved. They really have no parking.

We stayed 2 nights in this modern luxury hotel located in the small resort town of Clervaux while on vacation. The suite was beautifully furnished, clean, modern and HUGE. We were there in the \"off\" season so there were not many guests in the other suites. Staff was friendly, but we had some trouble with communication since we speak no french. One would hope that an International Hotel would do a bit better with staff fluent in several other languages. The complete facilities included a large pool, spa, massage room and a choice of two dining rooms. A delicious breakfast buffet was part of the package each morning. Overall it's an outstanding place to stay.

Nos quedamos en una suite en la parte moderna de éste hotel Le clervaux Design hotel y Spa, lo que resultó una grata experiencia romántica, con una hermosa arquitectura al interior de la habitación, combinando diseños elegantes y contemporáneos de muy buen gusto... Baños muy modernos con buenas amenidades, así como batas y pantuflas, los cuales son detalles que se valoran mucho. Cama súper confortable brindando una estancia tranquila y relajante.

El hotel en general tiene una ubicación inmejorable, cuenta con 2 restaurantes y zonas para relajar como piscina y sauna, perfecto para una escapada romántica el fin de semana.
Personal en lobby atento y muy amables.

Sólo doy 4 estrellas, ya que al momento de hacer el checking tuvimos que esperar más de 1 hora para recibir la habitación y sólo después de las 16:20 pudimos hacer el ingreso a la habitación, lo que retrasó nuestros planes no pudiendo hacer uso de la zona húmeda que era lo que mas ilusión nos hacía.
Por otro lado al usar la ducha y bañera en la habitación el agua por alguna razón salía completamente fría...tuvimos avisar en recepción, pero ellos muy amablemente lo solucionaron de inmediato.
Por lo demás muy bien todo, instalaciones bien cuidadas y desayunos muy completos.
Repetiría nuevamente para desconectar y relajar con mi pareja y hacer uso completo del hotel y sus instalaciones.

Mooi en proper hotel. Alles tot in de puntjes afgewerkt. Heel uitgebreid ontbijt. De spa mogelijkheden vereisen naakt te gebeuren, wat voor ons geen probleem was, maar sommige mensen schrikken daarvan heb ik gemerkt. Mooie locatie, voldoende parkeergelegenheid overal en goeie locatie om als uitvalsbasis te dienen voor de streek.

De suite chateau was ruim en had een mooi uitzicht op het kasteel. Het derde bed was een slaapbank, maar deze was zeer oncomfortabel.
De ligging van het hotel was heel sfeervol (midden in het dorp, bij de bezienswaardigheden en de natuur). Het spagedeelte in het hotel was erg mooi. Wij vonden het wel jammer dat in de sauna's badkleding niet was toegestaan. Het ontbijt was erg lekker en uitgebreid.
Tip: als je in het laagseizoen komt, kun je gratis parkeren naast het hotel.

Il est bien dommage que nous ayons été surclassé dans une suite surplombant la fête foraine en cours d’installation.. le vrombissement du camion frigorifique du marchand de gaufres a pourri notre nuit. C’est le genre de détails qu’un établissement de ce standing doit anticiper. Car sinon cela aurait été presque parfait, au buffet de petit déjeuner, très moyen près..

Mooi hotel maar niet comfortabel geslapen

Een fantastisch mooi hotel waar het zeker de moeite is om de upgrade naar de suite te nemen.
Mooie kamers op een centrale ligging. Wel hoop ik dat er meer concurrentie komt voor dit hotel. Enkele opvallende zaken tijdens ons verblijf:

1: matrassen zijn veel te zacht. 4 nachten hierdoor slecht geslapen. De receptie kon het niks uitmaken.
2: room service wordt toch niet aangeboden. Als je belt nemen ze niet op. Vervolgens zeggen ze dat je beneden moet komen en vervolgens zeggen ze je daar dat ze geen room service doen.
3: Sauna gebied is mooi meegenomen maar zou er niet extra voor betalen.
4: zwembad deel is mooi (wel een beetje koud)
5: de massage was heerlijk en kan ik aanraden.

Zimmer, Juniorsuite war groß und sehr gut ausgestattet, neuwertig mit bequemen Betten. Geschmacklich ist die ganze Hoteleinrichtung nicht unsere Richtung, aber das ist halt Geschmacksache. Schwimmbad hat angenehme Größe, manchmal waren wir alleine dort, manchmal ist es eher voll. Der Ort ist guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren mit dem ÖPNV.

Fantastische omgeving, echt genoten. Qua accommodatie had ik meer verwacht voor deze prijzen. Ontbijt was karig en ongezellige ontbijtzaal. Op het eerste gezicht leek de kamer schoon, maar de kussens en het dekbed hadden hun beste tijd gehad en waren absoluut niet fris. Verder prima hotel.

Sich im Hotel rumzufinden ist schon anstrengend. Vom Parking, über die unzähligen Aufzüge und Wege ohne Plan ist schon schwer zumutbar. Sehr schönes Hotel und Zimmer aber Kissen sind sehr hart und obwohl die Rezeption 24 offen hat geht keiner dran um andere zu bekommen. Spa ist veraltet und Frühstück sehr einfach. Allem in allem zu teuer für was man bekommt.

Het was de 2de keer dat we verbleven in Le Clervaux. De receptie was moeilijk te vinden en bevond zich in hotel Koener wat toch een stuk minder uitstraling heeft dan Le Clervaux. De kamers waren nog steeds prima en zagen er zeer luxueus uit. We hadden een mooie suite met aparte living met zicht op het kasteel maar de zetel was vuil, aparte slaapkamer met bed met zeer zachte matras, apart toilet en badkamer met grote regendouche en bad. Aan het zwembad was nog niet veel veranderd en ouderwerts. We hebben gegeten in Brasserie Koener. De bediening was heel vriendelijk maar het voorgerecht liet wat lang op zich wachten, we vroegen het dan na en toen kregen we het direct.... een fles wijn was zeer duur maar je had geen keuze. Het ontbijt was in de feestzaal van de hotels. Heel ongezellig,
en waarschijnlijk was ook het ontbijt van hotel Koener daar. Verder was de kwaliteit ok. Kortom het hotel Le Clervaux was ok maar de prijs niet meer waard omdat het samen gaat met het veel goedkopere hotel Koener. Spijtig.

Zeer vriendelijke bediening - hotel beschikt over meerdere restaurants maar vermits het vrij rustig was - hebben ze wat gereorganiseerd in locatie wat het iets ongezelliger maakt - ontbijt was goed, maar de ruimte is dringend toe aan renovatie!
In het algemeen ook wel het gevoel dat er behoefte aan wat restauratiewerken…

Badkamer overtreft alles, vrijstaand bubbelbad en supergrote regendouche. kortom: geweldige hotelsuite. de sauna, wellness en zwembad zijn inclusief en zeker de moeite waard! Bad service and no bed for our child as promissed

So disappointed with the stay. Long in-check and service almost non-existing. I had to ask the staff in the desk several times for the bed for our little child which I had booket with the stay AND double-checked the day before that I was sure to have a bed for our child!! It was confirmed in e mail by the hotel!
First time I asked for the bed they looked confused. I was told it would be in our room later. By dinnertime it still wasn’t and I asked again in service. (They did not give us any follow up..) now there was no bed! We have a little child who has to sleep!! But the staff promised to find out something for us. We would expect to a 4 star hotel that we would hear from the staff again so we knew what to do. But they seemed to have forgotten about us. The hours went by and almost 3 hours!!! Later when we all had gone into bed trying to sleep somehow the staff came with a bed!! Some of it. We had to wait again for the last bit of it and by 11 in the evening!!! Way past bedtime for our child we could go to sleep. So bad with no information or follow up!!

Super lækre store værelser. Dejligt wellness område, men der kunne godt være en begrænsning på antallet af personer i poolen, da den var lidt overfyldt. Morgenmaden var ok, men savnede pølser til mine røræg og bacon.

Bij het ontbijt miste ik een prullenbakje op tafel. Ook miste ik een scherp mes om de broodjes open te snijden, de messen op tafel waren niet scherp. Het ontbijt was zelf erg goed en lekker. De kamer was erg ruim opgezet en netjes. Er zat een grote scheur in het gordijn maar dit was niet storend maar gaf een ietwat armoedige indruk.

Très bel hôtel dans le centre de Clervaux

J'ai passé deux nuits dans cet hôtel situé dans le centre de Clervaux. L'infrastructure et le service sont très complets. Le personnel très professionnel. Le petit-déjeuner est parfait. Le SPA est très bien entretenu et très agréable. De nombreuses ballades sont directement accessibles à partir de Clervaux. 2 petites observations: la poubelle du locataire précédent n'était pas vidée et certaines chaines TV ne fonctionnent pas correctement mais c'est un détail.
