I checked in at 8:pm, was awakened repeatedly, showered and checked out at 2:am. A waste of $100 and my time.
The staff members I met seemed burnt out and frustrated. The hallways and room smelled musty and dirty. The room itself, aside from comfy well made bed, was just cheap and awkward. The $10 coffee maker has to be carried across the room to be plugged into a sketchy outlet in the bathroom, the toilet didn’t flush right and the shower backed up 3” deep of water.
I fell asleep and was awakened by a generator or compressor running on the other side of the wall in a locked room labeled “employees only” I called the front desk and was told there’s no compressor in there and I’ve never been in, I don’t even have a key.

I gave this 2 stars because the room was very dirty with build up of filth for a long time on light switches, lamps and the bathroom sink even clogged. The carpets looked like they've never been cleaned. The pillows had been washed and dried so many times they were just lumps in a sack. I literally went to the store and bought a can of Lysol spray just to get through the night with some sort of surface cleanliness. Customer service was awesome though. Lobby gave good vibes, building outside was in good condition. Parking lot not well lit. But again the front desk staff were the nicest people

I arrived at 7pm and was given a room key number 210. When I went up stairs the room was occupied. I went back downstairs and told the clerk and she did apologize and gave me room number 204. Then an hour later the help was telling me I had to move to 211. I went back downstairs and talked to the clerk and the help was suppose to go to 304 to move them to 211. I also got a call while in my room asking my name to confirm I was in 204. I am not sure what your procedures are. But giving me a key to an occupied room, they were not in the room but the tv was on their luggage was in the room and their bathroom bag was on the sink. Thank god I didn’t get shot. This is totally unacceptable. I will say I was worried all night after all the above. I out the chair up against the door and did not sleep well at all. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

The staff was incredible but you get what you pay for as far as the facilities, it’s an older building for sure. The room was clean and bed was comfy but it was humid and smelled like weed. The a/c unit made us both pretty stuffy and I would have loved a full length mirror in the room since we were staying here for a wedding. I think the majority of people staying here are doing temp work in the area. Being in walking distance to Chick-fil-A was awesome!

I came here for business purposes and the front desk wasn’t helpful at all, especially the Middle Eastern guy who was there with the bob length hair. I asked for a receipt that I needed for work and he told me that he couldn’t print it out, which is something I’ve never experienced at any hotel. The cleanliness is very sub par and the rooms smelled old. The AC changed its temperature on its own so yea, if you can afford to book elsewhere, DO IT! I will not be returning to this hotel and I hope my review helps someone because yes, I’m sure there are other hotels who will offer WAY more for you than this one. Only book here if it’s a last resort and you cannot afford to go elsewhere.

Hi, we needed a place to stay for the night and the check in process was great! However, the room smelled like old like mold. The tv did not work and the beds had stains. We asked to be moved and Ms. Leslie was very kind to move us to an okay room but this hotel could use a DEEP cleaning and new linen. Thank you Ms. Leslie for your hospitality, God bless you.

I mistakenly booked the wrong date for my stay and noticed it immediately after. I called and he hotel directly and they said I had to change it through Orbitz. I tried changing the date online on Orbit and was told it cannot be done online. I searched for a telephone number for Orbitz customer service but could only found an online chat. On the chat I was told by Orbitz that the reservation could not be changed per rules of the hotel but they would call the hotel directly to see what they can they could do. Orbitz was told by the hotel that if I rebook the correct dates they would refund the incorrect one. I did but was then told I rebooked a refundable reservation but the original incorrect reservation was non refundable so they would wait until I check in with the new non refundable reservation before refunding the incorrect reservation. I checked in and now have been told the hotel will not refund the original incorrect reservation so I end up paying for two reservations but only using one.

This hotel was near everything. Different restaurants. Starbucks. Walmart. Publix. Wholes food. Movie theater. And about 20 minutes away from the cocola amphitheater. I love how convenient everything was. I will definitely book again.

From the time I stepped into the building I felt welcomed. Great staff, ALL OF THEM!!!! The rooms are comfortable, breakfast was amazing, and the entire stay was peaceful. Met new friends while standing outside, with great conversation. As a veteran with “non-visible” disabilities, it is sometimes difficult to find a place that feels like home away from home while going thru medical treatments. This property is accommodating and have no pet policy, but welcomes Service Animals. I will return soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

They flatten and for me, that makes for a miserable night. My brother had the same complaint. Upgrade the pillows and I'll be happy to stay there during every trhip to B,ham.

This property was very poor in quality. It smelled and you could tell they used fragrances and air freshners to make it smell better but it didn’t help. The room above us kept us up majority of the night and we had to contact the front desk to ask for assistance in keeping them quiet. The breakfast was very subpar as well. This hotel looks great on paper, but is surrounded by sketchyness. We arrived around 8:00 PM and there were multiple cars idling in the parking lot with people in them for no apparent reason. The entire first floor common-area smelled like weed. As I walked into the reception area a person walked out to meet a cop that pulled into the parking lot behind us to report some sort of event that had just happened on the property. Based on my limited observations of the clientele, the hotel appeared to be a preferred choice for transient workers. With all that being said, the staff were friendly and reasonable, and the facility wasn't horrifically derelict or unclean. Maybe I just stayed there on a weird night, but I wouldn't stay there again. Spend $15.00 more for a better place,,, there's plenty of other options in that area.

We were concerned about all of the noise from the busy highway it located on. But in our rooms we never heard any traffic, we were also towards the back of the building. The children loved the pool! For a hotel the shower was very nice, the pressure was excellent and they had plenty of hot water. The bad part of the shower was it was a walk in so the floor got soaked every time you used it. The beds were a little high off the floor but once you got in they were very comfortable. We had a tornado watch during our stay, therefore everyone was in their rooms and the wifi couldn't support all the usage. Other than that we didn't have any wifi issues. They had a nice selection for breakfast, but you had to get there early or there wasn't enough seats. Overall it's a clean, and nice place to stay. If we're ever in the area we plan on staying there again.

The beds were a little high off the floor but once you got in they were very comfortable. We had a tornado watch during our stay, therefore everyone was in their rooms and the wifi couldn't support all the usage. Other than that we didn't have any wifi issues. They had a nice selection for breakfast, but you had to get there early or there wasn't enough seats. Overall it's a clean, and nice place to stay. If we're ever in the area we plan on staying there again.

This place is a gem for the price we paid. The king bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. My only complaint was the requirement to pay a $100 security deposit, which was returned the next morning because we happened to have enough cash; otherwise, we'd have to use our credit card and wait days (a week?) for the charges to be reversed.
