We had such an amazing stay in La Palma. The rooms are quite spacious. Clean and bright. The staff was friendly, helpful and over all wonderful. The pool was great to dip in to after sunset. The interior of the hotel is lit up beautifully at night. Centrally located close to any amenity or restaurant on the island and 3 blocks from the beach. Definitely recommend it and will hopefully soon be back. Thank you La Palma!

A great location to stay in Holbox, just far away from the main square to be quieter, but still only a 2-3 min walk away from it. Spent some time working remote, and the wifi worked great, and even reached to the open air roof. Front desk staff was helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable

This hotel was more than what I expected. I got more of an apartment than a room. It had a a big living room. The bed was very comfortable and had many pillows. The room and common areas were clean. The pool area was nice and rooftop was amazing for sunrise and sunset. Staff was very friendly and helpful with my questions. It’s 4 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from the central area.

We truly appreciated the Family Room. Two nice and comfy bedrooms with 3 beds total, a massive living and dining area (no stove but with microwave and big fridge). It had very hot water in the bathroom and the pool was old but wonderful. In general it’s dated but functional and nice. I do with they provided more utensils and plates in the family rooms. This would make a big difference. We left some behind for the next family, which hopefully will be helpful.

The hotel is consistently clean with fantastic cleaning staff who do a great job every day. I had a wonderful week-long stay, sleeping well each night thanks to the blinds on the windows and the quiet atmosphere in my room despite its proximity to the pool. The front desk always had someone available, and there was fresh water to drink (although it was slightly warm) along with a fridge in every room.
The hotel is super close to downtown, restaurants, and there's an awesome Restaurant serve pizza and taco joint right across!

This is a basic hotel, but great value. Rooms were spacious, bed was very comfortable, pool area was nice. Check in and check out went very smoothly. Great Taco place across the street. Far enough from the busy part of town for it to be quiet at night. Close enough to get to the action. Note that the light on the ac is bright, so if you need complete darkness bring an eye mask.

Avoid at all costs!!!! No electricity or running water for 3 days of this trip which is nearly half. Could not even flush the toilet, could not shower, no A/C and no wifi.Had heatstroke and could not cool down in the room with A/C when it was 34 degrees. Had booked this hotel with wifi so I could continue to work and lost 3 days earnings due to the power cuts. When asking staff what was happening they would laugh and pretend they couldn’t speak English or just say they didn’t know what was happening. They have tried to say this was an island wide fault when friends staying at various hotels and villas on the island all had water and power that we had to go and use. Hotel refusing to give any refund for the 3 days affected as they say it happens constantly - this is not mentioned anywhere on their website or Expedia and was not mentioned to us upon checking in. Please book a different hotel in Holbox to avoid your trip being ruined as there was plenty of ones that still had electricity and water and more helpful staff.

I loved that the location was only two blocks from everything that was needed. A special shout out to the receptionist at the front desk, she’s so sweet and made me feel at home. Thanks again!!

I had a room with a bedroom and kitchen area, which was huge. The room was very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The pool area was a little disappointing as it rarely got the sun, hence I never saw it used by guests.

Overall very good value, the room was very spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable also! The A/C worked amazing and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The only complaint I have was that the bathrooms by the pool were very dirty. Though I believe it probably is not the norm based on the cleanliness of the property and rooms, pool included. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the beach and the town square. The Wi-Fi was OK at best, which is normal in Holbox, a remote island. It makes for a great place to relax and enjoy the Island and disconnect from everything at home.

We love staying at Tropical Suites by MIJ! It is our go to hotel on the island when we bring our 9yo son. We get our own bedroom and he gets to sleep on a pull out sofa, which he loves!
The rooms are HUGE so there is lots of space for our luggage without it getting in your way.

Very good value for money, I would recommend this hotel for families as the big rooms are spacious and have all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay at Holbox.
The only downsides would be the breakfast menu, I guess it could be improve. Furthermore, be aware of you are travelling with elderly people as even though is very close to downtown the roads can get tricky and might cause discomfort.

This is the only hotel during this 38 day travel that wouldn’t allow us to pay you directly. Our airline changed our flight. We contacted you and them directly. He insisted we pay him and said you never contacted them. He also charged us several hundreds more in tax fees from your quote. Carlos I believe is his name put us on the 3rd floor where they were doing construction right over our bed. The ceiling material fell into our eyes. Another manager moved us next door to the maid service area where it smelled like sewage. Our entire experience there was terrible. They completely ripped us off and did not represent your company well.

4 great nights in Holbox at Tropical Suites
The room was brilliant, the air con worked perfectly throughout our 4 night stay. The lady on reception was fantastic and recommended places go visit and when to go. The only thing we would suggest to improve this place is the water quality of the pool, we chose not to swim at the hotel but this was no hardship as there are amazing beaches within walking distance.

Very spacious rooms and extremely comfortable beds. Hotel is in a good location on the Island and a decent value for money option. Walk to the main beach in just a few minutes. Hotel has a nice terrace but missing loungers, plants and chairs to improve ambience and increase its usage.

My stay was terrible everything is a mess I got charge extra $300 dollars for taxes I’m still waiting for a response from the hotel to see what this extra charge is and nothing I guess is for taxes that what they told my wife..pluss the hotel is nothing as show in the pictures unless you want to sleep with scorpion spiders on you room you can see the scorpions in you roof of the room no maid to clean you room pluss the air conditioner didn’t work at all I will not recommend to stay here to anyone unless you want a bad experience this will ruin you trip.. trust me on this

I was impressed and surprised! My room as VERY ample and spacious, the A/C (a priority for me) very good and cold! Linnens and pillows of the quality of the best hotels 5 starts I satyed in the USA, running water softened, handcrafted doors,and several details in precious woods from the region and a view on the top level second to none. The pool while on the small side was clean and well maintained. While there are a few unexpected things, I attribute it to the fact that the property is new and so may be the owners/administrators. I had not trash can and other minor things but where promptly corrected by a very friendly and corteous staff. I loved the room 302 on the second level, but this is not a handcapped accessibe place. I do not see that as a negative, its just the nature of the property. All in all is a wonderfule place, a great price and a great location. I will go back tomorrow if I could.

We stayed at La Palma Holbox for four nights, and while this property has the potential to be a five-star stay, it ultimately falls to a three due to several avoidable small details. The location is undoubtedly its strongest asset, perfectly situated close to both the town center and the beach. However, the experience was dampened by the management's choices; cleaning only occurs every third day for \"environmental reasons\"—which felt more like a cost-cutting measure—and the floors were noticeably dirty at check-in. Even after cleaning, the floors felt sticky, likely from too much cleaning product or reused water. The rooms themselves are large and include a kitchen, but we were surprised to find no cutlery or basic essentials provided without having to specifically ask for every single item, which made the stay feel quite cumbersome.
The amenities also felt a bit \"budget,\" such as providing a single liquid soap meant for both hands and the shower. INCREÍBLE la habitación, la verdad le tenía poca fé ya que era mi primera vez en holbox y veía muchos malos comentarios en varios hoteles y al final me decidí por la Palma y no me arrepiento en lo absoluto, será mi hotel a partir de ahora cada que visite holbox, es céntrico ya que caminando esta a unas cuadras del centro, enfrente esta un restaurante con pizza deliciosa y te lo llevan hasta tu habitación, la cama super cómoda, cuenta con agua caliente, wifi, frigobar y para calentar agua, la habitación que renta contaba con dos aires acondicionado asi que la habitación siempre estaba fresca el baño cuenta con ventilador le da un plus! La piscina es grande y super a gusto puedes estar nadando ahí. En general vale la pena tu estancia.

La propiedad está bastante bonita, es limpia, aún que no pasaron a hacerme el aseo las primera noche que estuve ahí. Todo el tiempo estuve en contacto con Emmanuel el chico de recepción, estuvo al pendiente de mi llegada y me hizo varias recomendaciones, siempre muy atento y muy amable!
Lo malo es que el baño a veces no baja agua y una vez se nos tapó (no echamos papel ni nada) , por otro lado la terraza está bonita pero bastante descuidada estaría padre que la arreglaran y que ofrecieran desayuno o snacks :)

Tuve una estadía increíble. El destacado fue el servicio del equipo del hotel, siempre atentos para dar recomendaciones, solicitar taxis y, en general, muy amables. Estuve viajando sola y me sentí muy acogida. Las instalaciones también están súper lindas, todas las habitaciones con vista a la piscina. ¡Sin duda, volvería!

El hotel es muy bonito, se ve justo como en las fotos! La habitación amplia y cómoda. El baño muy amplio y limpio. La cama muy cómoda, dormimos muy bien. La ubicación está genial, llegamos caminando del muelle donde llega el ferry en 8 minutos aprox.

El lugar no es malo para una o dos noches básicas, la piscina sucia y descuidada, NO esta como la venden en las fotos, se rescatan las chicas de limpieza muy lindas y haciendo su trabajo .. el tema fue el último día pedí más tiempo para salir, pregunté obvio el costo y lo pague sin tema, a los minutos yo estando en la playa instalado me mensajeó el encargado para decirme que había cometido un error era el doble de lo que me había cobrado “ era casi lo que valía una noche completa y solo requería 3 horas para cuadrar mi salida de la isla “ argumentando que el era nuevo y el gerente le comento que sino regresaba en ese momento y pagaba sacarían mis cosas ya de la habitación, siendo las 11:30am en teoría aún era mi habitación, no tenían porque entrar a ella, que pasara por ellas recepción y para no tener temas termine pagando pero no regresaría jamás al hotel ..!
