Wonderful budget hotel option with valley views down to the Mediterranean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Our host was very friendly and helpful. Parking is provided just off the main parking lot for a discounted rate, and our host helpfully parked for us so we wouldn’t have to navigate the tight corners. Location couldn’t be better - literally steps to the piazza duomo and villa rufolo. Note : The market is in the parking lot on Tuesdays and they start setting up around 5am so it is noisy outside the window. We didn’t attempt to drive our car through the market that day - made the long walk down to Atrani and Amalfi for a beach day instead. Would come back to Il Ducato!

The staff at this hotel were wonderful. Expedia had made an error in our reservation dates and refused to fix it… but the hotel fixed it up no problem, no fees. The property also helped arrange travel to and from the airport/train station. They were very accommodating! The hotel itself was cute and right next to the central Ravello square. Would come back!

The picture of the view of the lake was a bit embellished, not sure where it was taken, but possibly the patio where breakfast was served. The breakfast was plentiful was nice and really all that was needed. The location was right next to and over looking the city parking. So it was a bit noisy in the morning. The owners bent over backwards to help with taxi and any other needs you might have. Ravello is a beautiful city but if you really want a view of the lake you will pay 2-3 times the money. So for the price it was a nice option!

This was by far one of the best stays we've had, either in Europe or US. Fantastic & quiet location away from the bustle of tourists. It was a very nice retreat after fighting crowds elsewhere. The owner was also extremely helpful and very friendly, we very much enjoyed talking to him. (I suggest all contact him prior to arrival as he can assist with your transportation & other items you may need.) This B&B was recommended to us and I'm so glad we stayed here in Ravello. And great breakfasts!

We will stay no where else but Il Ducato when staying in Ravello! It is the perfect location. Only a two minute walk to the center, La Piazza di Duomo and the center of town. It is perfectly clean and modernized, and I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff. While visiting, my husband got a severe toothache, and Pietro was quick to find us a dentist that would extract his tooth and his colleague Santina, was nice enough to drive us over an hour to a dentist, translate everything to the dental staff, bring us to a pharmacy and drive us back which took over a half day of her time. They both saved our entire trip and we cannot be more thankful for their superb service. Breakfast is delicious with a beautiful view from the terrace and they made us feel like it was our home . We love you, Pietro and Santina. !!!

Il Ducato is a beautiful property and in the perfect location next to the Ravello town square. The room was very clean, had a great amount of space and all the amenities you could ever need.

To top things off is the service and attention provided by the staff, especially Pietro. He took care of our requests and provided us with a great breakfast in the perfect settings overlooking the Ravello/Scala area. Would definitely recommend this property for anyone visiting the Ravello area. ❤️

This was the cutest B&B and very walkable into the small town of Ravello, just right up the staircase! The view was amazing and perfect for sunset while we ate our gelato on the patio. The best part was the breakfast that was included in the morning, which the owner went above and beyond! It included fresh pastries, fresh fruit, cappuccino, yogurt, jam, rolls and more! It truly made our stay :)

Il Ducato di Ravello was everything we wanted for our stay at Ravello- it is a very comfortable and nice hotel. What we liked was how close it was to the town center. The room was very spacious with multiple closets and spacious bathroom - the staff were amazing and breakfast was a feast every morning - highly recommend!

We spent 8 days at this hotel, and had a wonderful time there. Hotel management and his assistant were very friendly, responsive and helpful. Our room had a great view of the ocean and mountain, was very clean and kept up tidy during our stay. We loved the outdoors area, food and drinks were plenty full, and of very high quality. Only few minutes of walk to downtown, fabulous restaurants and shopping areas. Highly recommended, can’t wait to go back there again soon.

We were welcomed warmly on arrival. Our vehicle was moved to a private parking area. The room was very clean and furniture well- taken care of, especially since i could tell that it was older. Wifi worked well. Breakfast had a large selection, including freshly squeezed orange juice and the best latte I have had to date; in my life. That's pretty long. I would definitely return.

Pietro (Peter) is the owner of this Bed and Breakfast and he is an awesome host. I stayed here with some family members for about 1 week and we had a wonderful time. Pietro serves a wonderful breakfast each morning and I would most certainly stay here again. The Hotel or B&B is a few minute walk from the centre of Ravello and the views from our room of the surrounding area were stunning. I would, with absolute certainty, recommend this place to anyone.

We did not have a car while here but I do believe that Pietro has parking available for guests with vehicles. However, ensure you connect with him beforehand to confirm.

We stayed here for 3 nights for a family wedding in Ravello. We had a 3 bed apartment with a main double bedroom and a good comfortable size single which was a sofa bed.
Room was neat and tidy, towels were changed daily.
Breakfast was a really nice continental with fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, pastries and fresh bread rolls, juice and coffee.
We thought it represents great VFM considering its close proximity to the main square in Ravello and considering how much ££££ you could spend on other accommodation in Ravello it served our requirements perfectly.
The owner (Peter) was friendly and helpful.
We would return to this lovely B&B again if we ever go back to Ravello.

An excellent location to stay in beautiful Ravello. It's less than a 5 minute walk up some steps to the main square but is still very quiet. The rooms are spotless and well laid out - we stayed in a family room and there was plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms have a decent sized fridge for water etc. The host was very friendly and helpful and offered to arrange transfers etc. Breakfast is served on a covered terrace offering great views across the valley to Scala and includes fresh fruit, croissants, bread etc. Highly recommended.

Firstly, the staff and manager were so friendly and made us feel very welcome, gave us some excellent advice and tips on where to visit, in fact went out of their way to help us. The breakfast on the terrace was lovely and something we looked forward to each day. Our room was spacious and clean with the added bonus of air-con. Being located in Ravello was a great base, such a quaint and lovely town with lots going on and loads of places to explore, eat and drink. My family and I enjoyed staying at this property for our time in Ravello. We had our 5 month old with us - the rooms are spacious, it is a short walk to the center square and to many restaurants. Peter is so helpful and everyone there is so friendly. Peter offered recommendations for restaurants and help with any car bookings. The daily breakfast was the highlight of our mornings. Fresh fruit, fresh juice, croissants, and more, while sitting outside and soaking in the beautiful views. We’re so happy we stayed here!

Great location for our 3 night stay for a wedding at Villa Eva and visiting Ravello and Amalfi.
Pietro was very welcoming and helpful, and served a lovely continental breakfast on the pretty terrace outside.
The property is a 2 min (uphill) walk to the main square, and approximately 10-15 min (again uphill) walk to Villa Eva. From the main square you can get a taxi or bus to Amalfi.
The rooms were spacious, tidy and cleaned every day. Towels, fridge, safe, hairdryer were provided.
The property is close to the car park and provides free WiFi, and has some lovely hill views from the terrace.
I would definitely recommend for location, cleanliness and the breakfast ! My only suggestion would be to have a kettle for tea and coffee in the rooms.

I stayed here by myself for three nights. The manager was beyond rude to me when one of my friends staying down the street was refused to be allowed up to charge his phone for 5 minutes on our way to town. Would never stay here again after the horrible experience brought on all by one person.

We stayed here for 2 nights in June and this place was awesome. Owners very nice and accommodating, you are a 2 minute walk to Ravello's town square where all the best restaurants and places to be in Ravello are.

Each morning we were greeted with a great breakfast with a nice view of a valley. They had different types of coffee to order as well as fresh orange juice.

We truly enjoyed our stay and here and would stay here again if we traveled back to Ravello.

If there was an option to give 0 stars I would. I am not one to usually leave reviews but in this case I need to. If you are a woman who is traveling solo DO NOT stay at this B&B. The owner made me so uncomfortable I ended up leaving after my second night and staying elsewhere. On my second morning during breakfast he crossed the line and went as far as attempting to rub my shoulders and asked me to return that afternoon for a massage. Upon my arrival back to my room that day he saw me walk in and called for my attention. I ignored it and continued to my room. In a period of 10 minutes he had knocked on my door and rang my buzzer 3 times.
Each time standing closer and closer to my door. I did not sleep in my room that night. The following day I was shopping around in town and he sought me out questioning me as to why I had not spent the night in my room and if I was going to be sleeping there that night. Feeling even more uncomfortable at that point I did not want to let him know where I was sleeping. When I would not answer he got frustrated and then asked where his key was. I told him that he had already been paid for my stay and that I would return my key when I checked out. I was too uncomfortable to go alone when checking out so I brought someone with me. Again, if you are a female and traveling solo DO NOT stay here.

Ravello is a great place to go t on the Amalfi Coast, especially to stay over, as it is not as touristy as the more well known places. It is a beautiful town and getaway, and Il Ducato is a perfect place to stay. Excellent breakfast and view as eating.

A large room by european standards, just a short walk (down the stairs and across the public car park) from the main square. Peter is friendly and provides a huge breakfast every day (bowl of fruit salad, yoghurt, sweet pastries, glass of juice, tea or coffee, sliced bread and rolls, preserves and a selection of cheese and cold meats). Room doesn't have black out blinds, so gets a little light when the sun comes up, but the bed was very comfortable.

This hotel was great. The location is just off the square. Literally, walk down the stairs from the center to the parking lot and it's right there. The three person room fit myself and my wife and our child well. The annoying (but totally understandable) thing is the power in the room is turned off when you leave it. It seems that all hotels do this in this region. The small cleanliness detraction was tiny ants, but all of our friend's hotels had the same problem.

Met by owner to say that my room was not available as previous occupants had injured leg and needed to stay another night. Disappointing as had specifically booked 3 nights in same place to avoid constant moving. I was instead put up in a very nice place the first night (nicer than the original booking it turned out) with very friendly proprietor (a friend of the original hotel owner).
The hotel this review is about has very spacious rooms but dated and damaged furnishings. Bathroom bin was only bin in the room and not emptied during my stay. Breakfast served at your table. Cold good only. Reasonable selection but feels limited compared to buffet approach. Owner friendly but gave impression that changing my hotel was no inconvenience to me.

The Perfect Stay

We arrived in our hire car, to be welcomed by our host. From there, it was better than we could have ever expected.
Not only did they park the car for us & patiently help us with our bags, there waiting to surprise my guest was the flowers I had requested, but again better-- they added champagne.
The room was excellent and stayed that way. Air conditioning and light control, and a delicious breakfast every morning.
I would stay here again and would encourage all my friends to do the same.

We had a four night stay in Ravello and this was a lovely place to stay. It's only a 2 minute walk away from the main square, so very convenient, but very quiet due to its location.

There's parking at the hotel itself, which is €15 a day (which is nearly $10 a day cheaper than the town's own car parks), and the owner Pietro is fantastic. We arrived very late (past midnight) and Pietro came and met us to let us in, and we sorted check in the next morning when we were a bit more awake! They prepare a lovely fresh breakfast every morning, and unsurprsingly the coffee is fantastic! We were upgraded to a superior room which was lovely with the bedroom separated from a small lounge and the bathroom off the lounge.

Overall it was a lovely place to stay and if ever back in Ravello, would definitely go back.

Il Ducato de Ravello

This lovely B&B is located within walking distance of the main tourist spots (piazza, restaurants, sites). It is very clean, airy, and roomy. The breakfasts are a highlight and Pietro our host was very helpful and kind. I strongly recommend Il Ducato de Ravello B&B. Our trip to Ravello was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy.

Perfectly placed B&B

The B&B is located just off the main piazza in Ravello and so perfect for accessing the restaurants and other attractions. Ravello is mostly a quiet place (went in May) especially after dark, but this B&B epitomises this atmosphere. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfast plentiful and varied. The welcome and service is warm and generous.

A great hotel and great staff. Clean and plenty of room. Perfect place to stay and a short walk up easy stairs to main square. This is not a luxurious hotel like dome in the town but the price is good and I'd stay again

Stunning views, excellent service!

It was so good we even considered stay another night. the views are espetacular the hotel is right in the center of town you can't beat the location. The room is spacious and extremely clean with all the amenities. I am already making plans to go back next visit.

Fantastic place in Ravello

The location was great, as we came with a rental car - the hotel sits on a city parking which is very convenient (there is also a reduced parking fee for guests).
We too a suite for a family of four and were very happy with the rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful and the town itself a must.

Perfectly situated,Beautiful,Friendly,Quiet Hotel

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The views over looking Scala and the surrounding areas are breath-taking. Breakfast is served on the terrace. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very well kept. It's situated right beside the main square (2 minute walk) which is perfect as it's very central, yet very quiet even late at night. Every Tuesday in the car park beside the hotel is a market from 9am-1pm-they were even quiet setting up!

Special place hidden in plain view.

What a wonderful little gem. Ravello is known to be pricy even during low season, but this small hotel gave us everything we needed and more. We surely be back.
