I enjoyed my stay at Tropikist. It’s a beautiful facility with ocean front views and a pool and well maintained grounds. Breakfast was tasty. The staff are pleasant, friendly and all helpful. The location is close to the airport and a 5 minute walk to the main road if you don’t have a vehicle. There are some opportunities to improve, specifically the infrastructure- wifi is poor in the rooms and if there is a water shortage, then water dispensers should be placed on every floor. Overall I’d still visit again and recommend it to anyone

I came here with my family, on night 1 the ac remote wasn’t working. They sent someone who said that a person would come to fix it in the morning. Never happened. On our last night they told us they are moving us to another room which was upsetting as my sister and I had to move all our things into the other room as well as have a timeframe to drop they keys.In our new room our shower head was not working, we called them. They said the hotel is already overly booked. Another issue is cleaning, my sister had ask the staff when would they come to clean our rooms. They said later on in the day. Never happened until the last day I’m guessing because we were checking out. Additionally, my parents got a separate room which they needed to climb 5 sets of stairs to get to and they are older. We asked to switch rooms. They said the hotel was fully booked. Comparing my room to my parents, my parents got a suite with a modern look as was advertised and my room was drastically different as the beds were on wheels and old furniture. As well as the door was an ordinary wood door with a lock and a rusty bolt. Which my sister and I were concerned for our safety. In our new room, there was a chip in the wood that even if the door was locked a simple push on the door would open it. Overly, beware when booking your rooms as they only show the suites as they are newly renovated.

I did a girls trip at Tropikist recently!
My overall stay was good but i cant say great as there was a few quirks!

I would say that the female staff at the kitchen could be alot more welcoming .They were not very pleasant!The male staff were excellent at customer service. 💯
The bar needs better bartender skills .Improvements such as how how the drinks are mixed- must be done asap!!😐

We booked the Deluxe Double Beds room, and it matched the photos exactly. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast options were good. The property overall was also well kept. We would definitely stay here again. Not a far walk for food options.

Our hotel room were suppose to be side by side , I originally booked two rooms one room ,one bed and one room two beds but all they had at the time were two rooms with two beds which we did not want . I personally call before and advise on what we will like to have so our rooms were not separated . All the had were separated rooms which were not bad because it was just few doors down . The hotel is clean , friendly staff great parking , beautiful pool area food delicious but our best part is receiving a call from there assistant manager/ manager Natasha who came over during our breakfast and meet with us in regards to our rooms being separated . She was very very professional extremely nice she gave us a complementary lunch with drinks .Not forgetting she even let us do a late check out . We will definitely be going back next year when we vist . Thanks Natasha see you soon

Avoid Tropikist — it does not deliver on its promises.

From the moment we arrived, things went wrong. We were checked into the wrong room, and when we flagged this with the front desk, staff were unhelpful and showed no urgency in resolving the issue. The correct room was not provided until the following evening.

The rooms are dated, unclean and poorly maintained — not what you expect when paying for a beachfront hotel. The facilities throughout the property reflect the same neglect.

The restaurant dinner was disappointing — mediocre food with little variety or care in preparation.

Most concerning was the consistently poor service from start to finish. There was no sense that guest satisfaction was a priority at any level. The one exception was the restaurant manager, who stood out as the only member of staff to demonstrate genuine professionalism and care. It is a pity that this standard was not reflected across the rest of the property.

There are far better options in Crown Point and across Tobago. Do your research before booking here — we wish we had.

I booked and paid for an all-inclusive one-night stay, with check-in at 3pm and check-out at 11am. While I understand these times, I was disappointed to find that access to lunch and drinks on both arrival and departure days was not included. In all my previous all-inclusive experiences, guests were able to enjoy these amenities, so receiving only dinner and breakfast made the package feel limited and not entirely worth the cost.
Additionally, I was initially placed in the wrong room. I had booked a pool view but was given a garden view. This was later corrected after I raised the issue, and I appreciate that the staff addressed it.
Unfortunately, the initial interaction at the front desk was not welcoming and left us feeling tense at the start of what was meant to be a relaxing getaway. Thankfully, another staff member later assisted us, offered a welcome drink, and helped resolve the room issue.
The food options for dinner and breakfast were limited but very tasty, and the dinner staff were exceptional—they truly went above and beyond.
Overall, the stay was okay, but not great. The limited inclusions and the initial reception made me question the value of the all-inclusive package, especially as the purpose of the trip was to relax and de-stress.

Clean room and surroundings, however, my family of 8 staying in 3 rooms were unable to have dinner together as there is some insane policy of not putting tables together at the restaurant. Meanwhile, there was a table for 7 for persons not staying at the hotel who made dinner reservations. So it seems as though the policy only applies to guests which makes it more insane. I also booked a taxi to pick us up at 5:55am to take us to the airport. We reached the carpark at 5:56pm and the security indicated the taxi left us indicating \" we were taking too long\". There was noone at reception to assist with booking another.

I wanted to take a moment to share feedback from my recent stay at Tropikist Resort.
First, I would like to say that the staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a welcome drink, which was a very nice touch.
That said, I was a bit disappointed with some aspects of the all-inclusive package. When booking an all-inclusive stay, I expected a more comprehensive experience. Upon arrival, there was no bottled water or drinks available in the room, and I later learned that only certain beverages were included. Bottled water and some local drinks, such as Carib beers, had to be purchased separately, which was unexpected.
Additionally, I noticed that there was no lifeguard on duty at the beach area, which would have been reassuring from a safety perspective.
The food itself was very tasty, and compliments to the kitchen staff; however, the selection was fairly limited. Between meal times, there were also no real snack options available, which would have been a nice addition to the all-inclusive offering.
Overall, I would rate my stay a 3 out of 5. Despite these setbacks, I did enjoy the friendliness of your staff and the relaxing atmosphere, and I would still recommend Tropikist Resort to others—with the understanding of these limitations.

This was supposed to be a girls’ trip with my best friend. Most of the stay was enjoyable until she had a concerning experience during breakfast at Tropikist Beach Hotel & Resort.

Around 8:50 AM, the chair she was sitting on suddenly broke and she fell to the ground. Other guests helped her up, and staff later provided an ice pack and paracetamol.

About an hour later, the pain in her hip and side became much worse. Despite informing staff that she needed to lie down, she was initially told she still had to check out by 1 PM because new guests were arriving. After repeatedly explaining how much pain she was in, she was eventually allowed to use another room and requested to see a doctor.

Accidents can happen anywhere, but when a guest is injured due to faulty furniture, the response should prioritize the guest’s health and wellbeing.

Stayed at Tropikist for a couple of nights and had a really great experience. The service was excellent from start to finish and every member of staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. I honestly couldn’t fault anything. I was lucky enough to get a lovely ocean facing room and the view was beautiful. Waking up and seeing the sea first thing in the morning was definitely a highlight. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel has a really nice laid back vibe and it is in a great spot for enjoying Tobago. Even though I only stayed a couple of nights it left a really positive impression and I would happily stay again. I would definitely recommend Tropikist to anyone visiting Tobago and the island itself is a fantastic place to visit.

I had a short stay at Tropikist, but I was genuinely impressed. The grounds, pool, and rooms were all beautifully maintained and felt well cared for. The food was delicious, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay.

They also made everything seamless by organizing my airport transfers and local transportation, which I really appreciated.

My only feedback would be to improve the WiFi signal in the rooms. I had to step out onto the balcony to get a signal.

Overall, a lovely stay and I’d absolutely return.

There was no hot water in the hotel following a night out. I contacted the front desk after 2:00 a.m., but no assistance was available. I called again in the morning well before checkout, and a maintenance worker was sent. He inspected the issue, stated he would return, and never did. After another call to the front desk, they contacted a janitor who said he needed to obtain a part. Over an hour passed, and no one returned. We ultimately decided to check out. While the front desk acknowledged the repair issue, there was no recognition of the inconvenience caused to our stay or any effort made to address or remedy it. Room 38.

The room 46, was clean and spacious. Pool view. Comparable to the Days Inn in the U.S. in terms of quality, a lot of mold in the bathroom area. Maid service came everyday regardless if you put the tag on the door or not. Bring your own pool/beach towels. The outdoor area was nice. It would have been nice to receive service by the pool. The food options were limited, however I went out to get food. The hotel is in a great location, 5 minute walk to Store Bay, 15 minute walk to more restaurants. Staff was friendly. My room was ready upon check in which was great after a long day of travel. The hotel tell is very close to the airport. WiFi is no good in the room. Overall, not a bad experience for my first time in Tobago, felt safe as a solo traveler.

Overall, our stay at Tropikist Beach Hotel & Resort was pleasant, with both positives and a few notable drawbacks.

The room itself was clean, and the bed and linens felt fresh and comfortable. We opted for the all-inclusive package, which included meals and drinks throughout the day and added good convenience to the stay.

The meals were acceptable but not standout, earning about a 6/10 overall. One issue during breakfast was the presence of birds in the dining area due to the open layout and location. Leaving food unattended often resulted in birds attempting to eat it, which felt unhygienic. Birds also perched above the seating area, which was not ideal. Another concern was one evening’s outdoor poolside dinner, where the seating was too close together and poorly lit, making the experience uncomfortable.

Regarding the room, there were a couple of issues. On one occasion, a room attendant attempted to enter despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being displayed. The sign itself was old and torn, so it’s possible it may have flipped due to wind. Additionally, in the early morning hours around 3 a.m., large numbers of birds in nearby trees created significant noise that carried into the room and disrupted sleep.

That said, the staff were consistently courteous, friendly, and helpful, which made a positive difference overall. Despite the few inconveniences, we still found the stay enjoyable and appreciated the hospitality shown by the team.

My wife and I had the breakfast and dinner package and everything tasted amazing. The pool and lamdscaping areas were gorgeous. Our only issue was that the room and bathroom need to be updated. The shower we had was extremely tiny and narrow. There wasnt ventilation in the bathroom area either. The room did not have sufficient electrical outlets and had no usb ports. The room was extremely bright. Thankfully they sent someone to cover the window which made the brightness not so bad but you would think it is morning in the room even when it is nightime. The staff were friendly and helpful. Also dinner was too late (7:00 pm).

The staff were great and attentive. The location is nice. There was only one hiccup. I massaged the hotel a few days before my trip to set up airport transfer, as it shows on Expedia that they offer airport shuttle. When we arrived in Tobago, we looked around about 20-25 minutes for the airport shuttle but did not see anything from our hotel. When I called the hotel multiple times and the phone would ring but there was no answer. It seems to be a reoccurring theme in Trinidad & Tobago, as this happened in the city as well.

Stayed at the Tropikist Beach Hotel for two nights and really enjoyed the beach side view. The staff were very friendly, room was clean, and location is excellent. We didn't really enjoy the dinner menu at the hotel, and it was expensive for what you get, but the breakfast was good. The bar and pools are nice, and was nice to be on the beach and listen to the waves. I would definitely stay again, and would recommend it to others. I do wish the hotel would review their lineup of taxi drivers, and have better vehicles on call. We had a very old rusty van pick us up which was a bit concerning, but the taxi isn't part of the hotel.

This was my wife’s first time visiting Tobago, and she wasn’t quite sure what to expect; but this resort absolutely surpassed all possible expectations.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were phenomenal, friendly, professional, and incredibly accommodating. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. And while we didn't need anything, the manager would check in periodically throughout to ensure all was well (This meant a lot to us).

The room was comfortable and well-maintained. As long as you follow the simple instructions provided (like keeping the AC on and within the recommended range), there are no issues with condensation or humidity.

The food was fantastic! You can tell the resort adjusts meal options based on guest numbers. For example, sometimes offering a buffet and other times menu service; but the quality and flavors were consistently excellent.

In terms of location, it’s ideal. Pigeon Point is very accessible, a quick 5-minute taxi ride or a pleasant 30-minute walk back if you’re feeling up for it (Locals knew not to trouble tourists and were not pushy).

Overall, this resort is a hidden gem and a great alternative to the big-name hotels in the area. I honestly believe that within the next couple of years, it will become the go-to destination in Tobago for anyone looking for exceptional value without compromising on comfort or service.

I fully intend to return and make this my regular spot whenever I’m in Tobago. Highly recommended!

My stay at Tropikist Hotel and Resort was an unforgettable experience, blending stunning natural beauty with exceptional hospitality.

**Scenery and Location:**
Ideally located near ANR Robinson International Airport and Store Bay, the resort offers a serene tropical escape. The soothing sounds of waves and birdsong create a peaceful, authentic island atmosphere.

**Hospitality:**
From arrival to departure, the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming—making the stay truly enjoyable.

**Accommodations and Dining:**
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Meals were generally good, with breakfast being the highlight. However, I missed the presence of local cuisine on the menu. The all-inclusive package, which includes two dinners, one lunch, and two breakfasts, may best suit heavier eaters, while a breakfast-only plan could be more economical for lighter diners.

**Overall:**
Despite the slightly restrictive check-in (3 PM) and check-out (11 AM) times, Tropikist’s scenic charm and outstanding service make it a highly recommended destination.

Went for a couple nights between September 28th and 30th and would definitely be back. The service from the staff was excellent and the food was great each night. Did the all inclusive package and it was more than worth the cost.
