We loved the facility and the HUGE room. Nice shower. Breakfast was not huge but sufficient variety attractively displayed. The hotel is on the lower street next to the steps to the upper levels of the citadel. We caught a taxi for a small fare one day. Friendly helpful staff.

Casa Savri is a lovely historic small hotel. Because of its historic classification some things can’t be changed, so for example be prepared to carry around your big old keys to get into your room and the hotel front door. But it adds to the charm. We had a junior suite and it was nice and spacious, with a king bed, and a sofa and two side chairs. The bathroom was modernized on a way the still felt like it fit with the historic nature. Breakfast included coffee, cheeses, meats, bread, eggs etc. The staff are lovely. The hotel is right at the base of old town, eye walkable and a charming area. We were able to park on a Tuesday afternoon in Oct without a problem
across the street.

The hotel claimed to have parking. They did not- it was a public parking lot nearby that charged money. They also claimed to have front desk staff 24 hours a day. They did not and it caused an issue when I wanted to leave early in the morning, especially as their card machine was not working the day before to pay for my stay. The room itself was nice- clean and a good size. The bathroom was lovely. Some of the furniture was worn. I didn’t stay any for breakfast but the room was very dark and unappealing, The casa is very beautiful but old and is more of a bed & breakfast than a hotel.

My friend and I LOVED every moment of our stay at Casa Savri during our first trip to Romania. Our room was large and bright, and I even used the loft area that had two more beds to take an online exam without disturbing her. The location is perfect. We walked with our luggage from the train station and found the place no problem. The staff is kind, welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is delicious, with plenty of eggs, fresh veggies and delicious dips and sauces and thinly sliced cold meats. There is also bread, jam and yogurt, plus fresh fruit and the typical European style coffee, tea and juices. (I might have sneaked my bottle of champagne in and made a few mimosas and stayed a while in the cozy room with the fireplace and relaxing music.) Other restaurants are nearby. Check out Paul Food for a fantastic burger. We loved our time in Sighisoara and want to go back. We will stay here again and HIGHLY recommend it.

The check in was easy and the location was walking distance to the city centre. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The service of Casa Savri was good and warm and we felt welcomed during our stay! It was quiet and cozy. The hotel is unique and uses the original walls of 1568. Overall, would recommend and would definitely be back!

Quaint old-fashioned splendour in a great location

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. The staff were great, very friendly, very helpful. Only 2 slight irritations - the chairs in the room were not at all comfortable. A little thing maybe, but we take a lot of time looking for rooms with comfy seating and these did not fit that bill. And the room making up was slap-dash. Sheets that only just fit the bed and were pulled out overnight were not tucked in again and the rumpled bedsheets stayed rumpled. Not a deal breaker, just sloppy in a quite expensive hotel for the area.

The pensiune was in a good location right at the base of the citadel. There was even an internal stairway that would allow access to the citadel, it was in easy walking distance to many restaurants at the base of the citadel, and only a few minutes walk to the top from outside. The property had a great little bar and pool table area plus a fantastic courtyard to enjoy breakfast or a beer. The room was very traditional and cozy. The staff were super awesome! Truly! They also helped us get laundry done in a shorter turnaround time than normal. Highly recommended stay. Thank you guys!

Buckets of character, allied to comfort - ideal!

This is a character property with a really intimate feel to it, very warm and welcoming. The rooms are somewhat quirky - our bathroom had the first inky black basin and loo we had ever seen - but we were very comfortable and we enjoyed our whole stay here greatly. Casa Savri is an experience we shall remember.

Casa Savrii is the little gem of Sighisoara. There is so much effort and heart put into this pension/hotel that you feel very welcome. The rooms are very clean, staff is very polite & English fluent, breakfast is very tasty and the location is at the heart of Sighisoara, close to all the attractions. We will stay here again!

Beautifully renovated hotel near the medieval district of Sighişoara. Hotel was built in 1500’s and is very cozy. Johann made our stay very special. He also suggested a tour guide; yuan who was excellent and very informative concerning the locale. Breakfast was very good as well. The hotel is also near several good restaurants. We would definitely stay at Casa Savri again!!!

Amazing experience here! Casa Savri is definitely the must visit hotel in Sighişoara!

Staffs were really really friendly and hospitality ! It was the first time to visit Sighişoara, the staffs were immediately demonstrated us the attactive stories of the city; what’s suprisingly, they even introduced us the inseresting things about the hotel that you would never imagine! And I was quite amazed by the special prepared traditional drinks that really opened my eyes!

An amazing stay! Where should I start? Traditional welcome drink, nothing spared to make us feel good every moment. The place is amazing, full of character, warm and comfortable, all the amenities you would expect from a top rated hotel in a place that surprises you at every corner. Traditional breakfast included.

Amazing!

The hotel is beautiful. Newly renovated yet keeps the soul of the town and time it was built in. We absolutely enjoyed it. Was charming and unique.
The staff was also fantastic. Friendly and kind ready/willing to help.
The location is perfect. Just a couple minutes walk from the old town.

A hospedagem fica numa casa do século XVI, conta com decoração autêntica e um pátio com vista para a belíssima prefeitura de Sighişoara. Vale a pena a experiência de se hospedar num lugar histórico. Nao ha estacionamento no hotel, mas do outro lado da rua ha um estacionamento público, cujo pagamento se faz em máquinas de parquímetro. Em outubro de 2024, o dia de estacionamento custava 16 lei romenos (cuidado, a máquina não da troco). Café da manha muito bom, variado e com frutas.

Don’t miss it!

Very sweet and cute hotel. Very conveniently situated. Easy parking in the street. The history behind the hotel is very interesting and worth reading about while there. The courtyard is charming. This is not just a hotel, it is an experience in itself. The room we had could be a bit noisy at times, but it took nothing away from the fantastic experience we had. I recommend it for people who want to have an extra historical experience during their vacation in Sighisoara

le petit déjeuner buffet fut une tres bonne surprise compte tenu du faible nombre de chambres
l'accueil n'a pas été excellent; on nous a adresse 3 mails pour confirmer notre heure d'arrivée ... comment lire des mails quand on conduit !
tres grande chambre meublée d'objets chinés, parquet au sol, climatisation, belle salle de bain
attention au stationnement : il est payant à partir de 7 heures et il est impossible de payer d'avance la veille, lever aux aurores assuré

De verwachting was een 4 sterren hotel, maar het is meer een goede bed & breakfast. Groot nadeel was dat de kamers gehorig waren en het personeel ook niet altijd de kennis had om ons verder te helpen.
