This hotel stay was a nightmare. The pool was filthy and full of bugs. The maintenance guy even came around to talk about all the bugs that were inside of the pool. The mattress was as hard as a rock. I was awake all night and extremely uncomfortable when I let the staff know about the time that we had, they were very rude and unhelpful, and did nothing to resolve the problem.

It was just fine for my two night stay. It wasn't top shelf, nor bottom basement. Like goldilocks, it was Just Right for the price. I travelled alone and felt safe and secure in a well lit parking lot and location. For the price it was spot on.

I had a not pleasant experience staying at this hotel. Since the first minute I stopped to the office to check in, I was not welcomed.
The receptionist right away without saying Hello, or good morning.. she just asked if I had a reservation. Than she asked me what my name was and after that she asked me (literally), “Do you have your passport?” Which I answered “No” but I have My Military ID, i gave it to her, after that she goes “what is this”? Does this have the Passports Number? I need it to check you in. I said what? “That doesn’t make sense”, and she said yes, so I-showed her my Passport and she said, where are you coming from? Ah you coming from Mex, I said yes, burned there but American l Citizens now. That’s an American passport. Than I showed her my DL and she said “ah this is much better”.
I didn’t feel welcome at all and plus I felt she was using racism towards me, for the way she treat me since the moment I stated in.

The room was spacious but filthy. There was spiders in the closet. My husband didn’t tell me until we checked out because he knew I’d freak out. The room had a weird dusty smell. There was roaches in the restroom we didn’t see til the morning of checkout. The shower wasn’t working. Beautiful location but wouldn’t stay here again.

The room we checked into had not been visited by housekeeping in what appeared to be days. The bed was unmade, and there were wet towels on the floor inside and outside the bathroom leaving a musty odor. The desk clerk moved us to another room, and while the bed was made, it also had a an odor that could not be masked.

Check in place smells terribly. Couldn’t breathe. Room shower doesn’t have hot shower when it’s freezing cold at night. Shower had few water coming through. We skipped the shower and as soon as we woke up, we left. Checked in and checked out within 6 hours. Never stayed in a place this horrible

Fair for the price. The man who manned the front desk was not nice but he wasn't terrible either. Definitely tried to get an upstairs room, we could hear EVERYTHING above us and had the unfortunate experience of the people above us being what sounded like children riding horses starting at 5am, but that's not really the hotel's fault. The area is beautiful and it was close enough to the park. I recommend it if you don't need staff to be nice and get an upstairs room.

The lobby smelled Terrible, the rooms were visibly dirty, the sheets had stains, the rooms covered in spider webs, the restroom needed a lot of maintenance . Faucet need replacing, tiles were super dirty. The heater took 3 hours to start working and when first turned on it smelled like it was burning .

This hotel is in a great location for visiting Sequoia National Park — just a 12-minute drive from the entrance. There are several restaurants nearby, and the property has a beautiful garden with a lovely mountain view. The staff were extremely friendly and even helped me fix a booking mistake. I really appreciate their kindness.

Poor air conditioning. Our room AC did not work the whole night and we had to keep the windows open since the room was very warm in the night. The front desk denied any corrections and said the AC was working the next day morning after unplugging and rebooting which would be otherwise difficult for a regular guests. Please check AC condition before agreeing to stay in the room. No breakfast provided too.

Wait staff was barefoot with barefoot man lounging in lobby couch. Was assigned a room that hadn’t been cleaned so went back to front desk to ask for a clean room. Ac barely worked, a few body hairs in shower, mold on ceiling and floor in bathroom, cold hot tub - yuck - don’t waste your money here

We were really disappointed with our stay.

Initially hot water didn't work, which is beyond their control, but we were then put in a room which was obviously not prepared for us as it was dusty/dirty. We were then relying on using the laundry but it wasn't working, no apology. The pool & hot tub were green and off-putting.

Breakfast was disappointing and ended earlier than advertised - we were told it was because ‘no-one was there’ (we were?!).

We got locked out of our room on the second day because although we booked for 2 nights, there was an error on their part.

The maid essentially waited outside our room staring at us until we left, even though we still had 1 hour until checkout. Customer service non-existent.

The only redeeming factor was the location. The shell of the motel/rooms are nice but just need some TLC. Short drive to Sequoia and restaurants/gift shops.

Not worth the money. We will be picking another spot for our next trip.

There was a room playing loud music and calling the front desk did nothing to help. The rooms were dirty and filled with dead begs and checking the bed. There were dead bed bugs. It’s better if you rented a night in Visalia. Avoid this junk motel at all cost!

I rent this room because has a chimney when I want to turn on it doesn’t work I ask front desk to send a technician he told me it doesn’t work and we can change to another room which the chimney was working good I say ok when I talk to front desk to change the room they told me the chimney is out of season mmm we are sorry but we can change to another room for that because the chimney is only for the season December through February mmm if I rent I room with chimney I want a chimney I pay for that I’m really really disappointed with the hotel next time I call before booking by the way I check the hotel details and it doesn’t say anything about it chimney for season only ?? I’m not happy with that

Check-in was weird … they kept typing and typing for several minutes. 2 broken lamps, broken outside light, short of towels and pillows, bed was extra hard, water pressure in shower was useless. Power went out during the night and they knew it was going to but didn’t tell guests. Waffles were good. Noise from walking in room above us was loud.

We did not like the cleanliness of the room. We found a cockroach in the bathroom which he had to kill obviously. Other than that, the staff is very nice and accommodating. There's also a complimentary breakfast serving loaf bread and muffins (diff. flavors) and a make-your-own waffle. It comes with coffee of course.

Where do i start? ADA requested room was not ADA compliant- no hand bars in bathroom, no seat, no lowered bathtub or walk in shower. No cups for coffee, no coffee in room (but there was a coffee pot). The shower water vacilated between scalding hot and ice cold. And for their breakfast, out of coffee, no protein except hard boiled eggs. Overall, awful. One good thing...the bed was comfortable.

-Most importantly, the mattress was quite bad. Hard and springy, and sloping down on the sides.
-We paid for a queen sized bed but they gave us a full-sized bed, which is 6 inches less wide
-Found several bugs in the bathroom
-Continental breakfast left something to be desired... they did have a waffle machine, but they didn't seem to replenish anything, so 60 minutes into the 90-minute breakfast period, there was little left besides coffee, bread slices and apples
-When we first turned on the heater it smelled like burning hair
-Never got our TV to work. It was stuck on the menu page even after pressing every button possible. We asked staff from the office to fix it or replace the remote. Took them a long time to show up, then they took a long time to \"fix\" it using their own remote control, but didn't replace our remote so when we turned the TV back on, it was stuck on the menu page again, so we gave up.

Sequoia National Park is beautiful, and this location and price were reasonable, but we'll definitely be staying somewhere else next time.

The only thing i like was the little playground for my kids. Everything else was not good. The room had a bad smell. We try to go in the pool because my kids love to swim and it has dead moskitos and flys. The water was very cold. Also the toilet was not clean. The room door was so hard to open. Not enough towels. The fridge was not working.

Poor maintenance. Filthy property. They turn off your heat/ac during your stay and threaten to charge extra if you leave it on. Free breakfast was a disaster each day. Property charged a $20 misc. fee at check-in, but the clerk was unable to say what it was for. Uncomfortable beds. Our stay was a disaster. No housekeeping to speak of.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed. The room was disgusting. We arrived late and we were so tired that we couldn't change rooms. The room was dirty old and runned down. We found boogers and hairs on the sheets. We sprayed alcohol on the beds in an attemp to desinfect them. The floors were dirty, the towels looked like rags. We barely slept thinking about bed bugs. When we entered the room, it was so hot and it smelled moldy. The AC took hours to cool the room down to a semi comfortable level. The continental breakfast was OK, but we couldn't wait to get out of there. We only stayed one night, but it was the longest night ever!! Stay there at your own risk!!

Good Stay While Visiting Sequoia National Park

Slept there for two nights as we visited Sequoia National Park. Check-in was not until 3:00pm, so be aware of that when you show up early. Rooms are clean. Coffee maker, hair dryer, and fridge. Close to a store and they provide a list of good restaurants nearby. Overall, pretty nice.

The room had an \"old\" smell and looked like it had recently been renovated but looked old. The bathroom was not well kept, there were dusts/stains on the walls. The room did not have central ac, just a window unit that was loud and probably contributed to the musty smell. The beds were fine and we had a good night sleep. It wasnt until the morning that we found bugs (not sure but looked like roaches) all over the sink counter. The lighting was bad so I'm not sure if there were more around. I will not be returning or recommend this place!
