Manager was absolutely amazing and delightful! The space is quaint and feels like authentic Greek small island. Loved the balcony and the cute clothes line on the terrace. Breakfast was tasty with lots of choices. one morning we even had hot
Scrambled eggs and bacon on the buffet. Short walk to port. Remodeled bathroom. the only one negative was the bed. if you’re looking for a comfy bed we didn’t have one :/ Other than that…fabulous place to stay !

The hotel room was small but clean. Their breakfast has a good variety to choose from. The staff members were generally helpful. The only complaint we had was the wait for checking in. We arrived around 6pm, but there was no one at the front desk to check us into our room. We called, and it took the person ten minutes to come. Perhaps this should be expected.

Very nice

The hotel is an excellent location near kamares which is the port of Sifnos. The hotel and the staff were nice. The brakfast was also very nicr and delicious, there was a great variety. We booked a room with a sea view and the room had an amazing view and was clean. Although the room was a bit small. For example there wad bo space to open a large suitcase.

Overpriced, old, uncomfortable & unprofessional

Not ideal, hotel is very clean, however it is very old. Be prepared to have loud noise early in the morning when the breakfast area opens at 8:00 am. Additionally the beds are horrible, this should be a 1 star hotel. The bathroom shower is so small it has a half circle enclosure that requires you to open the door in order to be able to turn in when taking a shower. Wrote an initial review and the management send a message telling us to never stay, based on the lack of professionalism I was originally courtesy but now feel compelled to inform all potential guests, of the conditions...we found cockroaches 2 of the 4 nights during our stay, after our review of the property also received unprofessional email response from management as mentioned, most places would embrace the feedback in order to improve since they are in the service industry, this owner is not cut out to be in the service industry.

What I liked most was that it was located outside of the main beach area but still an easy walk. Very quiet and private. The furnishings were very European with plenty of storage and the balcony was so sweet with lovely view of the beach and town.

We had an amazing time in Sifnos. Alexander and his family and staff were incredible hosts. I had one of the best Mojitos ever at the bar. The beach is 5 minutes away( walking) and it's awesome ( ask for beach towels). Having a yummy breakfast on the terrace, looking at the Mediterranean Sea-priceless.

3 Charming nights in Sifnos at ALK Hotel!

ALK is a fantastic hotel on the other side of the port in Sifnos. It has all the Greek charm qualities which make visiting the Greek islands so much fun! The owner, Alexander is so welcoming and seemed to know everyone in town! When we first arrived we were told there were not any ATV's available on the island. Alexander said \"let me call my friend\" and next thing you know, we had an ATV for 3 days! He also gave us the best tips on where to go for star gazing, where to check out the best food for a quiet night by the water, or a fun night out on the town, and which beaches to see.

Also, this hotel goes the extra mile with the room service. Every day the maids would fold all our clothes that were not in our suitcases, and organize our room in a very neat manner. We were so appreciative of these little touches!

Sifnos is a beautiful island and anyone who has the opportunity to see it, should absolutely stay at ALK hotel!

It was ok, with good views, but could be made far more welcoming.
Never saw the bar open, it said there was a snack bar upstairs, but that was always shut too.

Wish I could have stayed longer

My stay was reduced to just one night because of a ferry strike. Hotel managers were most helpful and understanding. Room was spotlessly clean, simply furnished, and very pleasant with a small balcony overlooking the town and harbour. Excellent buffet breakfast can be enjoyed on covered patio. Hotel is 15 minutes’ walk from ferry/port and 10 minutes from shops/restaurants. Last few minutes are uphill, but owners kindly offered transport. Really enjoyed ALK Hotel and Kamares and hope to return.

We had a great experience on Sifnos and ALK was a nice place to stay. Their service was wonderful; picked us up at the ferry for no charge. Their breakfast was excellent. And, they arranged a scooter or us to use to tour the island which was delivered to the hotel, and at a very reasonable price. We would stay at the ALK again. After 2 days on the very touristy Santorini, Sifnos was a nice change of pace.

On your arrival you will be warmly welcomed and offered a drink or soomething to eat while your room is being prepared.
In our case, we disembarked from a ferry at a very early hour. Neverthless the Staff made sure to provide all of the necessary care to assure our comfort and even asked why we didnt notify them so that they could offer to pick us up with their free transport service- something which we took advantage-of on our departure.
The buffet which is included daily is regularly re-stocked kept fresh and impeccably clean.
bathrooms are srangely constucted withventilatioin Windows being in the outside corridors. If you are naked in the bathroom, passerbys can see you !

We booked for 3 nights at the start of our island hopping vacation, we loved it so much that we stayed for our entire vacation on Sifnos. The hotel is very well run, friendly, accommodating and spotlessly clean. We used Kamares as a base to tour the island as you are no more than 10kms from anywhere. We welcomed the restaurant recommendations and taxi tips.

We look forward to our next trip to Sifnos.

Family pride, gorgeous view, close to everything

We were treated like family at this immaculate hotel. The rooms are small but cozy! The owner and his staff were very kind and helpful. The panoramic view from the hotel patio was fantastic as it is part way up the hill. Easy walk to island bus, stores, and restaurants. Bus gets you to any part of the beautiful island within 10-20 minutes. The village pride is everywhere and within our 5 short days there, people were waving to us and spoiling us with free Greek desserts or extra drinks. We were sad to go and eager to return!

Brilliant! Couldn't ask for more

This is a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Free shuttle from the port was appreciated too. Even though it's only round the bay, it's just a nice way to get settled immediately. We were given an upgrade to a lovely room. It had everything you could ask for and all of the small touches make your stay. Breakfast was good. ALK are definitely making the most of what they have. We really do hope we can visit Sifnos again and ALK is the place we will stay.

Excellent stay and made very welcome by Alexander and staff we were given an upgrade to a kitchen unit with balcony overlooking the sea-Alexander wanted to keep a smile on our faces!! we had a very nice driver, Panagiotis, who picked us up at the port and took us back when we were leaving. he was also available anytime we wanted a ride to the port which is only a 10 min walk from the hotel. the breakfast was very good too-different kinds of cooked eggs every morning. breakfast room and rooftop bar had very nice views of the harbour with the ships coming and going. if we ever go back to Sifnos we know where we are going to stay! thanks again to all the staff for making our time on Sifnos so enjoyable!

Five nights in the A.L.K.

We had a delightful stay.Our room was comfortable,clean and well-appointed,and the view from our balcony was stunning.The hotel is in a perfect location,being situated on a hill just above the port,giving it a quiet and secluded feel whilst being within easy reach of Kamares.
The staff were warm and friendly,and the breakfasts were extremely generous-so much so that we didn't feel the need again until the evening.All in all,a terrific little hotel.

Okej medelstandard. Badrum och duschutrymme var väldigt trångt. Den lilla, trånga balkongen låg inträngd som en kil mellan grannarnas något större balkonger. Man hade kunnat sträcka sig över o låna saker från grannens balkong. Frukosten var ganska begränsad med endast ost som pålägg till brödet. Men en trevlig fruktsallad serverades till yoghurten. Rökning på gemensam frukost-terrass är är hemskt mot andra gäster! Förbjud rökningen!

Small hotel that is situated on an uphill from the beach in a calm neighbourhood (all of Sifnos is calm though). The staff was very service-minded and the breakfast was the best ever with fresh fruit and fresh pressed orange juice. There was a self-service bar that relied on the guests to pay what we thought was fair, worked great.

Le personnel est très serviable ,agréable , et gentil. Nous avons passé 6 nuits L’endroit est calme, les chambres nickel . Pour nous , mauvais dormeurs , la literie était bonne mais , il est difficile de faire la nuit noire entre le fait qu il n y ai des « fenêtres « aux portes et les veilleuses ( issue de secours , TV) dans la chambre nous avons pu cacher avec les serviettes .Pas très bien insonorisé mais c est assez calme .Navette pour le ferrys.A2pas de la plage . ALK nous a prêter les serviettes de plage Proche des resto et petits commerces. Superbe terrasse pour prendre le petit déjeuner.ils nous ont gardé les valises pour notre dernier jour et permis de revenir dans la journée pouyprendre une douche et nous amener au ferry en fin de journée. Nous reviendrons ici si nous revenons à Sifnos.
