The owner of the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful in coordinating the rooms and transport for my group of 19. The rooms were clean, roomy and had everything we needed! The area is safe, mini mart right across the street to buy snacks and beverages. Would stay there again, no question!

Property stands out as it is extremely clean. Having the only white structure among the hustle and bustle around the neighborhood gives you that Santorini feel Santorini is known for. The rooms were very clean and nicely furnished. However, there are no microwaves in the rooms. But, Julia is amazing and willing to heat up your meal for you

Place is rated as a 2-star hotel but it feels like 4-star hotel or better. Very clean with modern deco. 2 supermarkets just across the street with a bakery. The front staff esp. Julia, is so nice and hospitable. Very convenient to take public buses with a walk of less than 5 mins.

Great location being away from the busy tourist spots but easily accessible by bus or hire car. Also incredibly convenient was having a place to rent cars right across the road, as well as a supermarket and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful, arranging our airport transfer and providing lots of information. Would stay here again.

Hotel Eucalyptus was a nice hotel for the value. We were very pleased with the service we received from the staff. They arranged transportation to and from the airport for us and Julia was very helpful giving information about the island. We had an excellent breakfast for $8 per person one morning but chose to go to a local cafe the other days. The hotel is in a small town with a grocery store, bakery and a couple of restaurants nearby. We rented a four wheeler right across the street to get around the island. There is a bus stop right out front of the hotel which would work for getting around as well. The room was a no frills room, the bed was a little uncomfortable and the shower was not very big. The hotel was clean and sufficient for our 3 night stay.

The front desk staff are absolutely amazing, area is good there is a store across the street and it is a 4 min drive from the airport. A taxi cost us €15. The room however was very misleading as the pictures appear to be very new and modern but our room was very old and outdated, old locks and a rickity door. The room smelled a bit funky, almost like wet dog. Bed was very stiff. Overall for one night stay it was okay. Great service though.

Great hotel, fantastic reception woman

The lady at the reception is very friendly and helpful. The building and rooms look like they have been recently renovated, very clean and spacious. There is a local bakery just across the street for breakfast and right next to it you can rent a vehicle to go wherever you want. Would definitely recommend this place to other people!

Stayed for 2 nights, just needed a place to sleep. Conveniently located next to a bus stop that takes you to the bus station in Fira. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. Breakfast is extra. No conditioner in the shower. Good value.

Less than a basic hotel

Room - the photos are quite deceiving. Room was much dated, with wardrobe that can’t even close properly. Shower area in the bathroom was very small (even for Asian girl size), with rusted tap. Water was too weak to wash my hair well. The only thing I like was the powerful hair dryer. Just want to be out of the room as much as possible.

Staff - generally helpful, but an incident upsetted me. I was advised to take a public bus to airport (€1.80) as its only less than 10 mins away. The staff checked for me that bus will come around 5.15pm, and said will tell me which bus stop to wait (there were 3-4 bus stops around). Until 5.10pm, I still find any staff in the hotel. Out of no choice, I dragged my luggage and went to the restaurant next door to ask for the bus stop I should go. I then waited until almost 5.30pm, still no bus. I called the hotel and the staff told me I must have missed the bus and he called a taxi for me, which I waited for another 15 mins. I went to the hotel in taxi with €10. Thanks to the staff, I got to pay €20(on call) to a less than 10 mins journey.

Location - it’s at The Central of the island, but I won’t say the most convenient. Most of the time, I need to take a bus to Fira and change another bus. The bus interchange is at Fira. I’d think Fira is a more convenient location.

The owner is very nice and helpful, provided much information. Convenient location, with two supermarkets across the road. A little busy round the corner of the junction of the road, but at night it's generally quiet enough with air con and double glazed windows. With a small balcony. The shower has so little space with a curtain, quite difficult to turn round, but hot water is good enough. Hair drier was provided on request, and its very powerful! Good quality for the price.

The hotel is at the corner of a main intersection in Mesaria therefore you can catch the bus to go in different directions of the island. The hotel is about 5-7 mins from the airport, 7-10 mins to Fira where the main bus station is located, 30 mins to Oia because you have to change the bus in Fira.

We rented an ATV to explore the south of the island ( Kamari, Pyrgos, Perissa, Akrotiri) and it was worth it for 2 days.

Julia is a wonderful host who assisted us from explaining how to get around the island, planning excursions, selecting good and affordable restaurants to advising on visiting other nearby islands which you may not find them immediately when googling Santorini.

The rooms are cleaned every day and when we come back in the evening, it smells very pleasant.

We would definitely recommend this place and come back there again!

Julia from reception made our stay perfect! She went out of her way to assist us with anything we needed, from early check in, transport, laundry and tours. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute drive/bus ride from the main city. It is directly across from a supermarket and a great little bakery. The rooms are nice and clean, and get made up every day. We had such a great stay at Hotel Eucalyptus. Julia is such a great host as she patiently explained everything we need to know about the hotel and Santorini to us. She is also super helpful in helping us call for taxis, showing us the bus stop to go to different places, and many many more! The room is very comfortable and clean. The location is superb as it is situated right in the middle of Messaria, so we have supermarkets, restaurants and bus stops all around the hotel. Every night when we return from Fira or anywhere else, we just need to cross the road to reach our room from the bus stop. Super convenient.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The host are very friendly and helpful. It's well located in the town between Fira and the port. Bus stop is just in the corner, supermarket and bakery just opposite to the hotel.

If you want a relaxing holiday, you could consider hotels in Mesaria or Kamari rather than those in Fira and Oia as most of the hotels in Fira and Oia are overpriced and too crowded.

Wonderful welcome, amazingly attentive staff

We stayed here as we thought it was pretty central. The hotel did not disappoint. Upon arrival Zuliat, spent time providing us with a map, pointing out areas of interest as well as restaurants and places to visit. She organised bikes and a boat cruise for us. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and incredibly clean with a balcony. The only downside was the shower. Don't let that put you off what was a wonderful hotel with amazing staff. Would definitely recommend to friends and family

Hotel doesn't have a sea view but it is nicely located by the bus station to port and all around the island. Next to it there are restaurants, super markets, bakeries... Everything you need. It is in Mesaria but it is only 10 min on scooter from the main town Thira where all the fun takes place. But is lot cheaper than staying in Thira. The best in hotel is lovely Julia who is in charge of everything. And she does a great job. She will provide anything you ask for. Rooms are nice and specious and they keep it extremely clean. We stayed there for 7 nights and we were very pleased. Tip-you can get there from the port by local bus (around 2 eur per person) instead taking a transfer (10 eur per person) since the bus stop is wright in front of hotel.

Santorini getaway

A small family-run hotel that was quiet and affordable. The people who run the Eucalyptus are kind and very helpful. One even got up at 5 am to make sure I caught my taxi to the airport. It's location in Messaria isn't at all like one of the more glamorous beach or caldera sites, but unlike those it was peaceful and not overrun with tourists. Easy access to all the tourist sites is afforded by the super efficient public bus system- you can be in Fira in 5 minutes from the Hotel Eucalyptus, or Kamari Beach in less than 15 minutes. I highly recommend staying here!

Hôtel passable pour un séjour d'une nuit avant de prendre un vol tôt le matin car situé à 25 minutes (2,5km) à pied de l'aéroport. Le quartier n'est pas pas agréable. Cher pour ce que c'est. Je ne séjournerai pas ici pour visiter Santorin.

위치는 장점이자 단점인데, 공항이 가까워 저희는 짐이 많지않아 걸어서 갔구요 30분정도 소요되었습니다. 새벽 비행기로 출국 하시는분들은 버스가 마땅치 않을때 좋은 선택입니다. 문제는 모든 버스가 지나가는 위치라고는 하는데 버스가 자기마음대로 운항하고, 정류장도 제각각이었습니다. 피라에서 갈때 페리사행 버스는 메사리아 가는 사람들을 안태우려고 하더군요. 심지어 페리사에서 돌아갈때도 피라까지 가서 다시 와야하는 경우도 있었습니다. 겨우 차로 10분거리에 피라마을이라고는 하지만 무조건 피라가서 갈아타야되는데 이 시간이 너무 많이걸렸습니다. 버스가 정시에 있지도 않고 사람도 어마어마 많아서 차 하나 놓치면 30~40분 추가로 기다리는건 일도 아니었고 한번은 이아까지 가는데 한시간반이 걸린적도 있습니다.

저는 산토리니의 버스가 지금처럼 엉망이라면 숙소의 컨디션을 떠나서 무조건 피라나 이아에 묵는게 답이라고 생각합니다.

숙소는 바로옆에 도로가 있어 시끄러운편이었으나 문닫고 하면 엄청 거슬리지는 않았습니다. 다만 민감한 분들은 잠 못잘 수도 있겠다 싶었습니다.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel con il mio fidanzato per una settimana. É stato un soggiorno fantastico, camera spaziosa e pulita.
Julia e Dimitri sono stati gentilissimi, e ci hanno da subito consigliato: spiagge, locali e attivà da fare.
Un altro punto forte di queato hotel la colazione, costa 8 euro ma ne vale la pena, vista la quantità, colazione continentale super abbondante.

Il personale é molto gentile e disponibile. Ha fatto la differenza per quanto riguarda l'organizzazione delle nostre giornate.
Non mi é piaciuto il fatto di aver prenotato un certo tipo di stanza (deluxe) e che all'arrivo me ne sia stata assegnata un'altra: sempre deluxe, ma arredata in modo diverso e non era quella che avevo scelto dalle foto del sito.
