The overall cleanliness of the room was below acceptable standards. The furniture was poorly maintained and felt outdated, as if sourced from second-hand stores many years ago. The in-room safe was not functioning properly.

Breakfast was extremely disappointing. The food was cold, the selection was very limited, and birds were eating directly from the buffet tables, which raised serious hygiene concerns. We dined at three different restaurants during our stay, and the food quality was consistently low. The professionalism of the service staff was also lacking. On one occasion, I observed staff carrying food with their thumbs inside the bowls, directly touching the food.

Service was difficult due to communication issues. Several waiters avoided eye contact when we tried to request items, and some did not speak English, making basic interactions challenging.

The only positive aspect of this hotel is its beautiful location and breathtaking landscape. Unfortunately, this alone does not compensate for the poor standards in cleanliness, food quality, and service. I cannot recommend this hotel.

The room was basic but clean and serviced during our stay. The bed was fairly comfortable. The hotel as a whole needs updating, well overdue a refurbishment throughout. There are signs of serious wear and tear.

The hotel facilities were poor. The pool and gym area was dirty and the equipment limited with no working treadmill. There was no means of sanitation in the gym, felt very dirty

Love the location of the property, away from main road and set back, not far from Brinchang town. Beautiful property ground, love our room facing the mountain! Staff was very friendly. Service and food at The Lantern Chinese restaurant was very good. Breakfast buffer was good but could improve with more rotation of different varieties of food. We stayed 3 nights and breakfast quickly became very repitative.

The place is good enough for a one-night stay for a big group such as a family of 6 like us. The international breakfast buffet also have a great variety that cater to various taste buds and someone who like to experience various cuisine like me. I enjoyed the room temperature swimming pool as well, especially in the chilling weather in Cameron. However, the room conditions is not fantastic and hence, it is good for just one to two nights. The customer service is good enough.

Booked a King Room suite and was given two singles instead. The spa was closed while I was here, which was one of the main reasons I opted to stay here. Room was cold and no heater in room. Woken up to sound of construction. What a mess!

we left a small bag in the room when we checked out. the service staff notified us about half an hour later through whatsapp when we were on our way to the next destination. we managed to turn back and retrieve the bag. the staff there was very helpful.

Traffic is terrible on weekends with heavy jam. This was our 2nd trip to the Cameron Highlands. The traffic was as bad as 6 years ago when we went there for the 1st time.

The staff were fantastic and the food was very tasty.
Our room was ok, the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the sliding door to the balcony was broken, preventing access, but also meaning the door didn't seal correctly and the room was damp.

Location is good, close to the town but also in a beautiful setting, surrounded by luscious greenery and musical birdsong.

Beautiful and secluded resort with charming garden. Friendly staff. We had lunch at the restaurant and it was good with reasonable price.
Kids loved the indoor heated swimming pool and playground. There are ample parking space and we are able to park in front of our block. We stayed at 2 bedroom Fresno suite and there is huge space for our suitcases. We enjoyed the view from balcony.

The View is amazing, but the resort looks quite old and their service is not 24 hours, I asked for water around 11:30 PM and they said their room service staff leaves at 11 PM and I was asked to come and get the water by myself !!!!!! my building was like 100 meter away from the main lobby building.

the room did not have heaters and the wether was quite cold.
their food delivered to the room was not very nice. However, the Indian restaurant food was very nice.

There were missing items in the room such as toothbrushes, bedroom slippers and floor mat.
Pipe at the toilet was leaking.
Breakfast toast came with roach dropping and I have to ask to get them replaced.

The location is tranquil and beautiful. Breakfast spread is rather limited. Also the rooms are not well maintained. Our toilets leaked with water on the floor and there is no mirror in the bedrooms. Also there are no lifts and we had to walk up to our room on the top floor.

I stayed here on my way to KL from Penang and so pleased I did...beautifully relaxed peaceful hotel, so nice to be in a room that did not need aircon. Food fantastic as were the views from the dining room. The only bit of disappointment was the pool area really needs upkeep and making nice.

The property is overall quite nice to stay but a bit outdated. We can see spider nets everywhere along corridor and they are really big. The hot water is not stable so we had some difficult time when taking a shower. The most ridiculous thing is when we asked room service to bring us two fork for kids to eat fruits, the staff told us we must order some dish to get the forks, and reject our requests to get the forks since eventually we don't agree to order anything. Nice and spacious room, not bad ambience but super disappointing staff performance.

It’s a bit far from the town actually, quite above hills and separated from other hotels. for people who loves nature and want some peace time for resting their mind, issa suitable place for you guys. covered with mostly greens (forest) and loooot of insects is especially during rainy day due to the window/sliding doors that not fully sealed due to lack maintenance i guess. i cant sleep on my first night, the bedsheet feels like a bit damp and uneasy smell maybe due to the weather but they should consider installing a heater in the room to keep the guests warmer bcs is freezing during night time and rainy time. my husband couldnt sleep the whole night on our second night there and im just sleeping at the couch bcs the bed is too cold and damp.

Resort is clean with good service. Rooms are spread out in blocks so there's a bit of walking & climbing required to get around. Breakfast is reasonable in terms of taste & spread. We had dinner at the Indian restaurant on the 1st night, the food & service were excellent also. The view from the room windows & balcony was fantastic. Only con is that the resort is isolated, so it's a bit of a drive to go anywhere. But if one just wants a quiet retreat, this would be perfect.

lovely hotel.. beautiful surroundings.. clean & surprisingly huge with balcony with relaxing greenery view (see photo). mine was just normal Double room but honestly it feels like a suite. very accommodating and polite staff. hotel tours are easy to plan & very reasonably priced. on the first day we had early dinner and hotel food was delicious (as with room service & buffet breakfast the following morning).. the view from the coffeehouse was breathtakingly relaxing.. cool misty weather.. just a perfect getaway from city.

I would like to see some changes to the hotel

What you would like about the hotel:
1. The nicest hotel in the area that has blended well with the green surroundings;
2. You will be greeted with breath-taking view of the mountains, well preserved forest and its habitats;
3. You will be embraced with the cool climate and natures immediately when you step outside your room and on the nicely shaped oval balcony;

What you don't like:
1. Although the hotel is still functioning well, it is a bit old and run down;
2. Due to the lack of cares, many areas appear to be less hygienic;
3. Obviously the hotel has not been repainted for at least 10 years, many surfaces have been covered with stains (especially the outer areas at the breakfast point);
4. The winding road towards the hotel is toally dark at night, unwise to walk along, alone;

It used to be a must stay hotel 5 years ago, but not anymore without a much needed upgrading.

The service crew at the reception is great! The service crew in the restaurant is awesome! I am deeply impressed with the service crew in this resort.
The room is comfortable with a wonderful view. Generally clean. Only problem is there’s no lift, everyday I climb up 3 levels at least twice hahahaha
Breakfast at the restaurant was with a great view also.
However if you are looking for a hotel which is close to shops, this is not the place. This resort is at the top Brinchang. Basically need to take cab to the nearest town area.
But we are looking for a place which is peaceful to rest and relax, this is the right place. We wake up everyday to the chirping of the birds 😘

My husband was in pain.

They gave us a 2 single bed joined together as a king size bed. The bed was really uncomfortable. For 2 nights we have problems sleeping and my husband’s back was in pain even after the trip. It’s a shame it was a really good hotel. Location and the staff was amazing. But we did not have a comfortable sleep which is very vital for travellers.

Cozy cottage hotel with friendly staff

Have been to Cameron highlands a few times. Strawberry park resort is one of my more preferred hotel because of the atmosphere and the rooms which are well maintained and spacious. I personally like its location as it is far away from the main road and the crowd and yet close enough to the town when we want to go there. It is located about 5 to 10 minutes drive away from Tanah Rata and Brinchang town.

I love this resort. The room is clean, the toilet is clean, the tv channels works and got nice movies to watch.
The breakfast spread is just wonderful and i get to sit at the verandah open air overlooking the hills...perfect.
My family loves the quiet and peaceful atmosphere...the air here is cooling too.
However, please do something on the road to the resort. Its too dark and no proper indication of the road. Maybe you can use illum lights along the winding road or blinking leds at the kerb as drivers will tend to hit the kerb of not familiar to the bends.

Good for a family gathering as their rooms are clean and spacious for my family of 7 pax. Food is not cheap there and i would not recommand the Thai restaurant. I suggest cheaper and more delicious food downtown but will need to pay for cab to travel there.

Short getaway from the bustling city to the highlands. Nice weather at approximately 16 deg c with some slight drizzles throughout the relaxing 3 days there. Journey was smooth as it was a weekday but during the weekend the traffic was horrendous. You can find plenty of nice restaurants that offers steamboat or hotpot some call it with organic vegetables and seafood. In the towns Brinchang and Tanah Rata you can find a variety of restaurants offering western and Asian cuisines and some interesting English cottages that offers nice steaks and tea. A must do is to visit the tea plantations and if you are adventurous try trekking the hills and mossy forest. For kids probably the butterfly farm, pick your own strawberries at the farms, horse riding...

Run down and not worth for money

Sofa has stains and with strand of hair from past guest. Pillows are soft n flat can tell worn out. No face towel provided. Very basic amenities in the room. Waiter in cafe not well trained. Water topple down from glasses unto my son's head with warm water but take it lightly. Don't even feel remorse but just smiley and said sorry. Manager on duty in morning breakfast session inpatient when I told him to clean up the table which used by previous guests. Overall this hotel need to be reburshished and staffs need to be re trained in order to justify its hotel rate! Breakfast spread is low quality.

Is a nice and pleasant stay. The standard room that we stay is clean, spacious with a nice view. The breakfast is normal standard. The staff are polite, friendly and quick to help.
We would like to thanks all the staffs and thanks to the guide named 'Askwhat' whom bring us to the jungle trekking.

But the place is inconvenience, to go to Brinchang town. You have to booked taxi to the town or to visit other attraction place. The resort have a transport for attraction places but at particular timing.
