The room was musty, STANK!! The second floor hall smelled a little musty, so it was obvious that the musty smell from the rooms leaked into the hall.
We were in what at first appeared to be a remodeled room. But the bathroom fixtures were forgotten. They were very old, mismatched in design and finish. The shower head didn't adjust to a regular flow any longer and was covered in so much hard water build up it was surprising that it worked. The TP roll holder was pitted and rusted.

There was mold on the ceiling and the bathtub and shower where horrible. I would not take a shower because the shower head looked so bad and the tub drain was tore up, and it looked like someone tried to fix the tub was something that was peeling up.
At breakfast, the Pancake maker was not up to par. I had to restart it 3 times to get 3 pancakes.

The ice machine near our room was broken. No water in the workout room and no water to fill your water bottles during the day. Lots of other hotels have cold water and coffee available all day to guests. Not up to usual cleanliness standards in the rooms either. Dirt and gunk in the corners and on bathroom floor.

Bathroom door wouldn’t work properly, it also needed updating badly but the most awful thing was when I started to put water in coffee maker in the room there was a hair in the part where water goes. I have a picture but I can’t insert it in this review. It literally made me sick. I will definitely make different choices on the future

Staff was good - but 1st room issued to us on third floor turned us off. We complained and they immediately got us another room on 2nd floor. We had opened the door and immediately saw dead bugs as we entered thru the door. Then looking the room over - continued seeing lots of dead bugs. We thought they were cockroaches- but they said they were crickets. The staff on duty apologized and said he would get us another room immediately. But after seeing that it made us feel very uncomfortable in the other room also! If it is a bad infestation- and the rooms may have been sprayed- since the bugs were dead - the management needs to make sure the rooms are ok before sending guests to them. This should never had happened!

When we arrived late at night we were told there was no hot water, but it was better from the day before. They said it was luke warm but it was not. Our tv was out the whole 2 days we were there, they said they would see if they could call and get someone out, never heard from them about the matter again. Thermostat needed a battery, luckily you could adjust on the unit itself. The outside of the hotel was nice but nothing was being done to correct any of the items that were wrong.

Over all the room looked very nice , clean, comfortable pillows and mattress. But, there was a trickle of pee on the toilet seat which the clerk had cleaned/sanitized immediately. Breakfast had eggs, sausage (turkey and pork), pancakes, lots of breads and muffins and cereals and some fruit and yogurt. But, nothing for someone who is sensitive to wheat or to milk products. Bring your own! No oatmeal or alternative milks available. Maybe small town Holiday inns are like that? The staff was amazing.

The staff was all helpful, and delightful but the property could use some updates. Our room had a strong mildew owner, and the carpet was grungy. It had definitely been cleaned, but looks like it should be replaced. Our AC made half of our room extremely cold, but the other half stayed hot. The walls and carpet around the AC union also appeared to be chipping. Over all this place could benefit from some renovations.

I immediately asked to be changed rooms, the next one was not all that great, their was blood on the shower wall, the walls were dirty and again I did not want to shower neither did my family. This property has great potential in being a great hotel. The reason I gave three stars because my tube was dirty and the couch had previous visitors food on it. The coffee pot also had old coffee in it.
