Good for a couple of mates for quick access to football / train station but wouldn’t recommend for anything else.

Staff was excellent. Welcoming, helpful, professional. They should be credited for trying to make the best of awful hotel. Property looked like a bombed-out ruin. Boarded windows & no carpet in what should've been a lobby leaving broken concrete floor. Nothing worked in room, old hair dryer was actually sparking, TV remote needed batteries & fridge warm & smelly. Carpet was filthy. They claimed to be remodeling but no workers on site.

Although the hotel was undergoing renovation, our room was immaculate and comfortable, there was no bar but offered soft drinks on the temporary reception. The staff were so helpful with all of our needs and ordered taxi for us. I really appreciated the helpful service from the staff…thank you, I would definitely stay again

Ones a year, I visit the Leverkusen area and doing so since 2011. Over those years, I have stayed many times in this hotel. It used to be a branded member of the Best Western group. Now it is a newly renovated Delta hotel. Delta hotels are part of the Marriott group branding which is participating in the Marriott Bonvoy travel program.
On some websites you’ll see this hotel under the name LEOSO. However, it is the same hotel that recently has undergone extensive renovation. The new comfort, superior or deluxe rooms are completely remodeled. This time I stayed in a comfort room (see pictures).
Each room comes with individual adjustable air conditioning, a small refrigerator, safe, NESCAFÉ coffee maker and plenty of space to sit, work and stretch out to watch TV. The power outlets are equipped with lightning sockets and can charge mobile devices directly. The hotel provides NESCAFÉ pods, tea and water in those rooms.
The bathrooms features a spacious walk-in shower or bathtub. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner is provided.
The hotel staff is and has always been outstanding! The receptionists are very friendly, professional and helpful. The room service stuff-members are great too and making sure to refill coffee pods, tea bags and water. The cleaning personnel is doing a great job and making sure to freshen up the rooms daily.
Delta By Marriott in Leverkusen is my favorite hotel in the area and I highly recommend it.

Room was in poor state, very badly stained carpets, ripped curtains, awful marked bathroom sink, etc..... The fridge didnt work (fixed next day), the coffee machine didnt work, despite reporting it each day for 3 days. On the 4th day l unplugged it and took it to the reception desk and asked for another one, which then arrived, but no coffee with it! Was told l should come to their front desk every day and they would give me one coffee pod! Room service left used cups and glasses, too.
Btw .... was unable to post photos with this review, otherwise all above could be shown!
Should have believed the other reviews!

But the coversheets i didn’t find so clean but as it was near to Rathaus Galerie and leverkusen mittebhbf booked it for my business trip.And also others options were not available

Upon arrival (about 5pm), we found one employee at the front desk who had a line of four customers trying to check in. After some 10 minutes or so, we were helped and at the conclusion, there were an additional four people waiting to check in. Then we found our tv wasn’t working and the hairdryer also stopped working. There was no resolution to these problems. We were also suppose to have a King bed, but received 2 singles instead and we were simply told sorry, there was nothing that could be done. To top it all off, we were told the restaurant was closed and would not be available during our stay.

It's not my first stay here ,I've been approx. 4 or 5 times before, and it is very convenient to stay at, if you need to be near Koln or the big city, but without such a high room charge.The train that connect you to the city & fair is less than 5 minutes walk from the Hotel..and the ride in will take just 10 minutes or so (depending on which train you get!)..The Hotels standards have just dropped a little on the past few occasions as it is overdue for some maintenance.however the staff did tell me that they are actually currently working on it now, as we speak, & indeed each room had no central heating, as last time, only the use of a small convector heater, so make sure you return in good time to switch it on before you settle in for the night, to warm up the room enough!

The hotel was lovely on arrival and the staff was very friendly. We arrived at 2pm and check in wasn’t until 3pm as there wasn’t anything to do near the hotel we decided to wait in reception until 3pm. I did ask if our room was ready by any chance and unfortunately it wasn’t, this was fine as we were under the impression we couldn’t check in until 3pm anyway. However 3 pm soon came around so I went to the reception desk to ask if we were now able to our room and we were told that it wasn’t ready, this was very disappointing, me and my partner had such a long journey and just wanted to chill out and relax before exploring the city. The receptionist asked if we could wait 10 mins and he would check for us and apparently nobody was answering. 15 minutes went by and we was still sat there and hadn’t been updated, again I went back to the reception desk to ask what was going on and was told that they don’t have any answer so we will have to wait. I explained to the receptionist that this is a bit ridiculous now. As soon as I showed my disappointment our room all of a sudden appeared to be ready. We went to our room and everything was fine apart from some really loud noises that was going off from the maintenance work that was being carried out but we was warned about this in reception. However they did say that this wouldn’t distract our nights sleep the following morning at 7:45 the noises started again waking me and my partner up.

bEST WESTERN LEOSO Leverkusen close to Cologne

For a couple of days I stayed in the LEOSO Hotel Leverkusen again! I stayed here already a couple of times during the last years and was never disappointed. I very much appreciate the kindness of all employees. It seems like every employee loves to work here and want to make guests feel comfortable. The rooms either have a queen or 2 twin-bed setup. There is a desk and table for two. Rooms are air conditioned. WIFI is complimentary available. There is a pool and sauna which is very nice if you had a long day. I missed the breakfast ones and that’s a bummer because I love it. Sometimes I order over- easy eggs and they will be made hot and fresh. Juice, tee, coffee, milk and more will be offered every day. Fresh fruits, yoghurt and German jam to spread on my favorite kaiser rolls as well as different kind of cheese and cold cut. Hot sausages, scrambled eggs and more are offered too.

can't wait til next season

went for a football game,ground was approx 10 mins walk through a park past leverkusens training pitches,could see it very clearly from my room.
railway station under 10 mins walk.
don't think you'll get any nightlife there on a sunday though...the place is dead apart from a kebab shop,kiosk and an amusement arcade/bar.
nothing happens in germany on a sunday night though anyway.

The hotel was nice, the on site restaurant is very good if you like steak, a bit light otherwise. The only things stopping the rooms being completely 1970's in style is however the flat screen TV on the wall.

The rooms were spotless and the staff were very friendly. The hotel has good links into Cologne with a train every 20 minutes or so. I had a pleasant stay and look forward to staying their again.

Clean hotel with decor stuck in the 70s/80s

The Bar and reception staff were lovely and deserve high praise. However, the majority of the restaurant staff at the breakfast buffet were extremely rude and just gave us the impression we were really bothering them when we asked for Ice cubes for our drinks.

The hotel facilities are clean but just a bit dated. The Sauna and Pool are really a welcome bonus when you are travelling on business.

A good way to visit Koeln.

We spent New Year here and decided to come back for a long weekend. All staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and clean. The car park was dearer than quoted in the room documentation but it was secure. The closeness to Leverkusen city centre is useful (if only Leverkusen had more night life!) but closeness of Koeln 24-hour S-Bahn is very good and makes this a good base for the region.

rooms are plentiful size. bed and bath are clean and comfortable. excellent and fast wifi signal. nearby a modern shopping mall for convenient shopping. breakfast has good variety, but the quality is lacking. perhaps suggest heading for breakfast earlier before food gets stale.

the guest information book in the room states certain toiletries are complimentary. after asking front desk for items like a razor, i was informed it would be 2 euros after walking away with it. 2 euros is not alot of money, but guests should be informed there is a charge/fee straightaway. maybe its just me, but if something is posted as complimentary and i ended up paying for it, i become very displeased. inconsistencies like this will make me select another hotel in leverkusen the next time.

Convenient Hotel between Dusseldorf and Cologne

Hotel location was very convenient as it was located within walking distance to the Leverkusen Mitte train station. The RE would take you to Dusseldorf or Cologne in approx 20 minutes. Overall the hotel was nice. The carpets and decor is very dated and the elevator waits can be long when on the upper floors. Restaurant and bar was good. Pool and sauna were a plus as well as the included breakfast and very reliable internet. I would stay here again.

It Was Alright!!

The room was nice, we are a family of 4, so we got a room that came with 2 queen beds. The view was nice, we got to see the downtown area and the lights were nice to see at night. Room service was expensive, but it was alright. I was hoping that the menu would change daily, but it didn't. The only thing that was negative, was that not all rooms come with refrigerator or microwaves unless requested at the time of booking. We asked to change rooms with those amenities and were told that one would be available the next day for 20 euro more. We agreed, but come to find out that they did not have any rooms available the next day for us and therefore we ended up staying in our same room. With kids, it's essential to have those amenities. Sabastian the hotel staff not only lied about the room availability, but was not scheduled to work the next day to face me. How convenient. Otherwise the staff were friendly, and helpful. They spoke English which helped out greatly. The location was further from the chocolate museum and cathedral. Driving around looking for parking was a terrible. Otherwise a lovely stay!!!!

Thought better of best erstern

Stayed here before for business trips and had great exeprinces where we thought would get again.Afraid not! Arrived sat night went into restraunt for meal no one around. Went looking around hotel for a member of staff who when found asked us to change tables as she did not want to disturb the table we were at. Meal ok but expensive.
Next day at breakfast again no staff to serve coffee had to fond ourselves this was yhe case for all three days we were there. My husband requested to fried eggs to be cooked which took over 15 minutes to arrive and were un eatable as tbey were rubber where they had been left the second batch was not much better.
The rooms were clean and tidy but over heated everyday we turned the heating off only to find it on again on our return. On departure neither lifts were working and a workman took pity on us taking us down in the staff lift. On checking out we found out we could have ordered flasks of coffee complimentry for our room surely this service should have been offered on arrival

I can only conclude that the proximity to the football stadium ensures enough trade to this hotel that they don't have to worry about how it appears. I found the rooms to be shabby and in need of a refurbishment. It's true that everything was clean if you ignore carpet stains. The staff were helpful and friendly which is always a positive point. Nevertheless the restaurant left a lot to be be desired and I would be reluctant to book here the next time I am in the area.

An excellent weekend!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a very wide range of choices. We had an evening meal in the Restaurant on the first night, the menu was a little limited but when the food arrived was top notch. The waiter (his name was Werner I think), was very nice. The rooms and some of the decor in the hotel is a little dated but is otherwise clean and comfortable. Overall I was very happy.

I traveled to Germany and Best Western Leverkusen Hotel for the second time in two years because of Gamescom and I felt I couldn't go wrong with my hotel selection.

Everything was to be as expected and the service really went the extra mile this time round.
Credit must be given towards the male waiter who provided us with excellent and comical service during out meal.

Deciding on whether or not to attend Gamescom 2014, but if we do go ahead with the idea we won't have to look far for our hotel!

Fine hotel for the Koelnmesse

Stayed here for Gamescom, was about a 10 minute walk to the train station and then a twenty minute ride (3.70 euros) to Koln Messe/Deutz which is where the event was held, trains run 24 hour although the walk back to the hotel can be a bit dark and lonely!

Hotel itself was fine, large rooms and a powerful shower, with a good buffet breakfast. Incredibly helpful desk staff who could put up with my lack of German, great stay for a good price.

Very Disappointing!!

This hotel is nothing how the pictures on Expedia have posted. Just know that if you choose to stay there based off of their pictures they are very deceiving and you will be very dissapointed. I'm assuming those pictures are from when the hotel was brand new. The hotel right now is not very clean and worn down and not how the pictures perceive them to be. The breakfast was not bad and it was pretty close to the bus and train station so that was a plus. The staff was not very friendly or knowledgable of anything including the English language. Not a bad place to stay just for a night or two but don't expect much.

Close to mall, but look again

The hotel is not what I would associate with a Best Western. The décor is 80's, a/c did not cool the room at all and could not keep the window open due to the bugs and no bug screen. The TV was a small 14\" CRT and there was no fridge. For the price paid, I expect better. I have stayed at other BW's and the stay was much better.

Not better than a 2 star hotel!

Hotel is closed to a mall and it is very quite but it looks like a hotel built in 1960 that have not been refurbished since then. Restaurant could not serve dinner because too many hosts wanted one... Kind of experience you would not expect in a hotel.

Mix of Feelings

Arrived at the train station late at night and trudged through the snow with our suitcases, as we felt a taxi would not appreciate a short trip. We had lost our carefully printed directions. Not much english from the locals but we eventually found our way. A Warm reception and easy checking in. The room was OK but dated. Breakfast was plentiful with many choices and pleasant staff. We left our do not disturb out while at breakfast at 7.30am and returned to finish getting ready to leave at 9am. When we returned that night the room had not been touched. In a 4 day stay we had clean sheets once. We walked to the station and back each day, no problem. the staff were pleasant in every way at all times. Free Inertnet was very good. Only disappointment was housekeeping. Would probably not stay again when everything we wanted was in Cologne but not unpleasant.

Acceptable

The hotel is dated, but the excellent service from the staff makes up for this. Free wi-fi and breakfast add value.

Business Trip

Needed to visit in Cologne and this hotel was a cheaper alternative to downtown Cologne. Euros 25.00 into cologne. Clean and comfortable hotel.

Mark and Farima

Good choice for Leverkusen

For any business or visits to Leverkusen this is a good choice. The only issue I had was that the heating wasn't very good. They quickly solved it by bringing a space heater to my room. The breakfast is very good and other hotel amenities were good. It is not quite as well kept up since the time it was a Ramada flag, but overall it was an excellent value and I would stay there again
