Fantastic

On a 2 week long road trip through Europe staying at a number of different hotels, this was by far the best hotel experience we received!
It was a problem with our booking, but the man at the front desk sorted it out an gave us a major upgrade.
The following morning the Lady at the front desk was super nice and gave us free parking on top of the room upgrade.
There might be nicer hotels, but the combination of service and facility is a major winner in my book.

Fabulous hotel

Lovely hotel, the lobby was incredibly spacious and being attached to the Leverkusen Football ground was full of memorabilia making it a great place to stay for any football fan. The room and bathroom were modern and spacious also with lots of plug sockets. It was a shame that we couldn’t see the pitch clearly but did go to the top floor and look through the executive boxes windows. Parking was expensive and there was a Macdonald’s right opposite.

Fabulous stay at this hotel, the receptionist was really helpful and friendly when we checked in and made sure to add personal touch of letting my boys see the football pitch. Nothing was a problem, great time and great value.

Would have been great to know the parking charges before we went as we expected parking as part of the just staying at the hotel.

Excellent stay at this stylish and friendly hotel. All rooms are directly over the bar and reception area but the superb sound proof doors mean no noise disturbs you in the room. Rooms were well equipped and in reasonable condition, in need of a little updating in places. Bathroom was excellent.

Suggestions - €25 per person for breakfast too pricey. We had a deluxe room and were surprised to find no tea making facilities.

There was a loud banging noise during my first night. I switched the air conditioning off for my second night and there was no loins banging noise in my room (326) or in my colleagues (325) so that may need checking. Aside from that it was a good stay.

Excellent location, connected to the stadium. Staff members were great. I showed up early and they invited me for a free breakfast even though I wasn’t even officially checked-in. After breakfast I was told that a room still wasn’t available and to just wait for a few more minutes. To my surprise, they actuall came and got me to advise that my room was available. I’ve never been to a hotel we’re I needed to do an early booking and the staff actually came looking for me to advise that the room was ready. Highly recommended hotel.

Great for football fans.

Great facilities including a sauna and gym. The staff are friendly and very accommodating.

Excellent breakfast selection of hot and cold food. The pancake machine broke so chef prepared a batch to order.

A 15 minute walk from the train station which is 15 mins to Cologne and Düsseldorf.
There are a couple of good restaurants near the hotel serving good local food, well worth a visit.

The hotel is attached to Bayer Levekusens ground, for a footie fan like me was an added bonus. Unfortunately, no game the week end I stayed but managed a FC Koln game instead.

I stay at the Lindner BayArena when I am Leverkusen for meetings with my company headquarters. The Lindner staff is always helpful and friendly. The rooms are always clean and quiet. The restaurant serves a tasty breakfast buffet and a reasonable menu for dinner. The wait staff and bartenders are always friendly and helpful. I recommend the hotel without reservation.

Brilliant staff, especially the bar staff.

Stayed at the Lindner for 4 nights on business in Leverkusen. Everything was pretty much spot on, including the food. The 5 star rating though is down to the staff.

Everyone at the hotel was helpful and friendly, but the bar staff deserved special praise. The Hotel was really busy on a couple of evenings with large groups of people hitting the bar at the same time - but they were on the ball and on more than one occasion served my colleague and I just as we'd run dry. We had a really good laugh with them too.

I'll definitely be staying here again.

Location: 10-15 min from the railway station, park next to the hotel and of course Bayer04 arena!!!! highway 50m from the hotel - sound isolation is good)
Food options in vicinity: McDonald's - across the street, nice restaurant 300m down the street \"Haus am Park\"

Bay Arena Leverkusen

Nice stay since my trip was for business purposes. Hotel is pretty new and everything is in great condition. It's attached to the Bay Arena stadium so it's perfect for attending a football game. Nice staff and service and good bar/restaurant in the lobby. Breakfast is also offered in the morning. While breakfast is a bit expensive, the variety of options and food quality are great. The major downside was the free slow internet (you can pay extra for a high speed option)and hotel's suburban location. There is nothing around aside from a McDonald's across the street. Depending on the purpose of your trip this hotel could be a great choice at a reasonable price.

Came in late in the evening - without a GPS, I think it would have been hard to find. Very accommodating staff; great parking; an elevator!; very, very clean room - seemed new; comfortable enough bed. Pillows were not good and Wifi and breakfast buffet were marginal. Would stay again as it was located near the Autostrade and a good price for the quality room, parking and breakfast.

No problems with the hotel, but the breakfast is rather expensive at 20 Euro and the Wi-Fi cost is 9.95 Euro per 24 hours, which should be free, but the room was super clean, comfortable and a decent size.
Great location for football fans, there is a McDonalds across the road and Janes Brauhaus a 5 to 10 minute walk down the road for good food and beer at a reasonable price.
I normally stay at the Best Western which includes a coffee making tray in the room, but unfortunately this was not the case in the Lindner Bay Arena, but the bar fridge was handy.

Great place to stay for the footy!

I booked this hotel because it was the best value I could get at a very busy time in cologne due to the Trade Fair, Photokina, being on. I had initially wanted a place to stay nearer the trade fair but as it turned out I picked a great hotel. It was only 15 minutes by train to the fair so no big deal and the hotel was above my expectations in comfort and value. The hotel is built onto the side of the Bayer Leverkusen Football stadium which is a great concept. The room was very comfortable and clean and there was a health club in the basement that was free to guests consisting of gym, sauna, steam room and solariums. The bar and restaurant were very well stocked with good food and beverages and were run by very efficient and helpful staff. The bar had several TVs showing sports (football on Champions League night) as it obviously has close links to sport itself.

Modern and spacious, amazing for any football fan ..we are not, but we really enjoyed our second over night stay in a year.. restaurant is exceptional, beer the best! Look for discounts on Expedia to get great value! A little out of the way of the city but if its just an over night stay that's fine, parking is easy... (for breakfast if you don't fancy Hotel buffet then there is a McDonalds across the road!!!)

Great location if attending Bayer04 Leverkusen game; which we did. A little bit of a hassle getting into the hotel just before game, but plenty of helpful great staff to help get checked in. Don't know if I would stay there otherwise. I thought price was a tad high for the area; thought room and amenities were excellent. Restaurant overpriced in my opinion; there was a very good German restaurant a block away, with nicer ambience and food for half the price. Staff was outstanding at the hotel though.

Easy to get to from Leverkusen Train Station

We stayed here for one night as we were going to the FORUM THEATRE, we travelled by train from the Cologne Airport to Leverkuden Mitt train station and it was a pleasant walk to the Hotel throught the park along the River. The hotel was excellent, we had a late evening meal and they were so helpful - food was excellent and would recommend. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is a great deal, rooms are clean, beds are some of the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel.

The negatives here are the neighborhood (boring, hotel is really an annex of the soccer stadium, so a lot of soccer paraphernalia everywhere). Leverkusen itself is really deadsville.

Also the internet connection really crawls, don't expect to do any remote work on your company's server, this is only for email and basic surfing, e.g., movie times, etc.

Great Place to Stay for Soccer Game

Stayed here during the 2011 Women's World Cup. Had no idea the Stadium and the Hotel were actually connected! Was a very convenient place to stay to see the game. Walkable from the Leverkusen Mitte train station (if you don't mind a bit of a walk). Only real downside is there isn't much in the way of restaurants nearby - a McDonald's across the street, but not really where you want to go if you're from America and want to experience Germany. We did not try the hotel's restaurant. Room was clean and air-conditioned.

A nice stay

I was looking for a cheap hotel in the Koln area, and came across the Linder. I'm sure it would be very expensive when a futbol match is going on in the attached stadium, but on an off day, I was able to get a great rate. Internet was 10 Euro but parking was 20. So overall I might have found a cheaper rate, but not a such a nice facility.

Booked this hotel at the last minute because its proximity to koln and DUS airport. We couldn’t found anything closer due to a major trade show going on. A pleasant surprise. Only spent one night there, but it was a very nice stay. Room is very clean, service is good, staff are friendly and helpful. Many little things are provided for your convenience, even a bathroom scale. Parking is not bad, daily flat rate.
