This is truly one of my favourite hotels I have stayed at. The facilities, pool, gym, breakfast etc. are outstanding for the price. The staff also could not do enough for me: Vy at breakfast and in particular Yen who (after me telling her about my peanut allergy) could not have been more accommodating showing me exactly what I could and couldn’t eat and even sourcing some alternative oil for me! I ended up extending my stay and will hopefully return

All around a wonderful place to stay in Hoi An. A few short blocks away from tons of shops and the river. My friend thought we stayed at the Four Seasons from a photo that I shared. The staff was really attentive and breakfast was a massive choice of foods. We loved riding bicycles to the beach. I highly recommend this property!

Exceptional value for the money. Almost dint book here because of the reviewer who critiqued the state of the property, but I’m so glad I did. I felt the place was very well maintained and had no issue aside from a faulty room safe. Great location and fabulous pool area. Staff were great and were able to accommodate a late checkout. Only real complaint is a lack for vegetation-friendly breakfast options at the buffet. Would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay here! A tranquil oasis in the heart of Hoi An and right on the edge of Old UNESCO cultural historic Town....soooo beautiful!
All the staff were angels, heart felt warm greetings and service from the moment we arrived - having our luggage carried for us, the reception team, Pink and especially Tannie (the walking Google Map) who added a sparkle of magic to our adventures here and the restaurant team and pool gym and cleaning staff - all so friendly.
The breakfast was sensational and with an ambiance that made us so grateful to be there....The rooms were so spacious and with an Old World vibe that is so endearing. This Hotel has definitely cast a spell on us and we look forward to returning soon!

It’s lovely hotel in good location and beautiful pool. Staff was good but after being and traveling in Vietnam for 8 years was not up to par with most Vietnam staff going the extra mile. Room had old style electric outlets that I needed adapter to use my computer. The room was spacious but some things didn’t make sense where light switches were and in bathroom. But still enjoyed my stay in hoi a for the 4th time.

The facility was good, but house keeping claimed I ruined the sheets and requested payment for new sheets. I asked them to show me the sheets all they would produce of pictures claiming that they were my sheets. At checkout I asked again about producing the sheets they claim I damage for which they again did not produce. Another customer was at the front desk claimed they did the same to them. It leads me to believe that this ruined sheet thing is a scam by the house keeping manager.
I have nothing but good to say about the remaining staff. If you stay there take a picture of your sheets every morning before you leave the room so you get taken by the same scam.
One word for everyone BEWARE AND DOCUMENT VIA PHOTOS every morning.

Disappointing, honesty. Especially if you see the hyped pool pictures of this place and think the rest of the resort is as good.
The room we stayed in (standard, one level) was poorly designed: door to hallway lets in noise, a/c is constantly on and blows directly onto bed, weird creaky bed platform, and a glass enclosed toilet area with a door that does not provide privacy.
Also, in addition to the instagram snap-happy people in the pool, you’ll get some noisy tour group hordes.
We stayed here 4 nights and expected better.
That said, as we walked around town, I didn’t see any obvious better choices.

Really friendly staff and customer service was 5*, always willing to help with organising activies and navigating the arwa. In particular we enjoyed the spa where we had a foot massage. Besides the stunning pool, the hotel itself felt quite dated and grubby. The shower was a little temperamental running scolding hot and cold and the TV didn't work properly. Overall it was decent but I would rate it as more of a 3* standard hotel not 5* as advertised.

Only complaint i have is lack of elevator. If you have bad knees this is a minus.
I booked a loft without knowing the meaning of a loft, apparently it means the bedroom is on another level. You have to climb stairs to get to the bed. Another minus, is the noise from the hallway as people walk back to their rooms. The insulation for sound could be better.
Other than that the staffs are very helpful and friendly. We borrowed the bike and biked around which is nice

From the moment we got here, we were promptly welcomed with tea and friendly smiles.

Binh greeted warmly and was extremely accommodating and informative. We enjoyed all the amenities this place had to offer, from the large, luxurious pool, to the bikes, and the complimentary shuttle to the beach. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. We enjoyed the variation the breakfast buffet had to offer every day and everything was impressively delicious. This is quite possibly the nicest, most accommodating place I have ever been stayed at. Not to mention, it is very centrally located, close to the beach, rice paddies, and the famous river walk area. The beach was very nice, we got a spot right by the water and it was clean and a great way to escape the heat.

Binh also did a great job checking in on us every day and making sure we felt cared for during our stay. And the entire staff was so incredibly kind.

We look forward to coming back again soon!

The staff was amazing! Property is a bit dated, though it almost added charm and went with the ancient town feel. The wooden lattice decor in the room is nice but very dusty. I understand it's not easy to clean inside lattice cells, but one can not install decor unless there is a method to clean it. We had a loft room, which was cool. Breakfast was great. Once again, kindness of everyone who worked there was the greatest highlight! Thank you.

We’ve been in Vietnam for 2 weeks and still agree that the breakfast included at this property was the best yet! They had so many options and everything was delicious. The staff was delightful, the room was very warm and cozy (we visited in winter) and our only upset was that none of the pools were heated so we couldn’t enjoy them. I can’t recommend this property enough for Hoi An.

I stayed at the Almanity Hoi An Resort and Spa for 6 days. I love this hotel. The loft room i had was something I've never see before and it was perfect. Everything is of a good standard, they obviously keep on top of the maintenance of the hotel. The pool is beautiful and relaxing. The breakfast is superb, with so much choice.
The best thing about the hotel are the staff. They're all so professional and go out of their way to meet your needs.

I wanted to make special mention of Dinh and MyMy. Dinh was always making sure i had everything i needed and i was happy. MyMy was amazing, she arranged a lot of things for me and was super helpful.

I stayed at the Almanity for three nights as part of a two-week tour of Vietnam and I would say it was my favourite hotel of the whole trip. The hotel layout is beautiful with the gorgeous swimming pool surrounded by loungers and palm trees - even though it was busy at times, it was a great place to relax and have a swim after a day exploring Hoi An (only 5-10 minutes walk away) in the heat. The staff were all incredibly helpful and hospitable too - special mentions must go to the classy Zippy at reception who checked me in (and was very helpful in helping me access some money when stranded without either a card or cash), and My in the bar / restaurant for being so friendly and fun. I will definitely return!

Not in the centre but somehow still noisey

The staff were generally friendly and welcoming at this hotel. There was a weird moment where we felt like we betrayed one of the receptionists for not going to the suit tailor the hotel recommends but apart from that they were nice.

We stayed in one of the the loft rooms which was fine for us. Not recommended if you can't do stairs though. The loft design was cool but the room decor is a little outdated. The couch down stairs is possibly the most uncomfortable one I've ever sat on and is not suitable for 2 people.

The bathroom small but good enough.
I like that they didn't give us plastic bottles. Instead there were 2 refillable bottles which were replaced at room service each day. The fridge and safe both worked well and the aircon was great.

Pool was beautiful, with lots of seating and pool side service. We were told off for sipping drinks (kombucha) by the pool which was not purchased at the hotel. I thought that was annoying and poor form.

Restaurant is luxury prices for not really luxurious food.

Lastly, the walls are paper thin and we could hear neighbours from all angles, at all times of the day. I even woke up to the sounds of our next door neighbours getting down and dirty at 7am one morning. Don't stay here if you value your sleep, privacy or dignity.

Overall it was a decent hotel but would probably try somewhere else next time.

I stayed at the Almanity for four days. I can't think of any negatives with the hotel, except that the spa services are relatively expensive, which I'm sure is the case with most resorts vs independent spas.
The location was very good, about a 12 minute walk to Old Town. The room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and very good AC. Breakfast was great, with a lot of variety of Asian and Western options, as well as variety from day to day in the Asian options. The pool area is fantastic, with lots of lounge chairs.
I will definitely stay at the Almanity again when I return to Hoi An.

A brilliant 3-night stay. Don't be put off by the fact it's on a main road, as it's set back enough to not hear any traffic, remaining peaceful and resort-like. It's just a 10-minute stroll into the old town which has so much to offer. Service was great throughout. We ate out every night as there are so many great restaurants in Hoi An, so can't comment on the evening meals at the hotel, but the breakfasts were really good. We took advantage of some novel activities, like the short daily Tai Chi classes around the pool and a one-on-one Vietnamese language session from the lovely 'No'. The very helpful 'Binh' provided lots of local knowledge and secured us a 10% discount at the best local tailors – 'Tuong Tailor'. And we'd really recommend the massages at the spa, they were very professional and left us feeling great. Highly recommend.

Also the ladies at breakfast were welcoming and remembered our room number, and the staff in the spa were excellent at communicating and we really enjoyed our two massages. All the room staff were also friendly and the rooms were kept spotlessly clean. It’s a great area if you want to explore Hoi An Ancient town on foot, lots of great coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The pool area is very relaxing, the food at the resort was also delicious. The tai chi twice daily was unique and relaxing. The view from the rooftop suite was nice too. Very comfortable beds too.

I had a wonderful time at this resort. The location is excellent, especially for visiting Hoi An's ancient town. What I particularly loved was the convenience of the free bicycles they provided, making it easy to explore the charming old town at my own pace.

The resort's peaceful swimming pool, nestled amidst lush green trees, created a tranquil and serene atmosphere. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration.

While the resort might be older, it impressed me with its cleanliness and convenience. The staff was attentive, and the rooms were well-maintained. Despite its age, the resort offered all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.

Overall, I found the resort's combination of location, facilities, and service to be a winning formula for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Almanity is a great hotel/resort with a relaxing ambience, especially the beautiful pool area. There is a great variety of food at the buffet breakfast. The hotel is not a wellness resort, there’s too many kids & loud people. The rooms aren’t insulated well so when everyone’s walking to breakfast you hear it, it woke us up both mornings.
The spa is more like a massage parlour, there’s no spa amenities. The massage I had was nice but probably wasn’t worth the extra payment for spa inclusive.
Breakfast is terrible, barely any choice. Nothing is refilled unless you ask multiple times.
Overall it’s an ok hotel but definitely not a relaxing, wellness resort type place.

As a large family group of six adults and an infant, we found that Almanity had something for everyone. Some of us enjoyed the massages, sauna and gym, while others preferred to spend time in the pool. The food was terrific and the range of foods was extensive. The resort was always kept spotlessly clean. The location was an easy walk from the Old Town. Best of all, the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay at Almanity again.

Not a bad hotel by any means, but just personally not for us. My partner and I stayed here during our honeymoon, and we were expecting a relaxing spa experience. In reality, it’s a large resort and seemed to be a more family orientated, so we found it to be too busy and noisy for us, and not as relaxing as we had hoped. The room was spacious with good aircon, but had absolutely no sound proofing so we could hear kids running and yelling down the corridor and people having loud conversations until nearly midnight. The pool and surrounding grounds are quite nice, and the breakfast buffet was massive with a huge array of Vietnamese, Chinese and Western options. Plenty of shops and restaurants right on your door step, and only a 10 minute walk to the centre of the old town. The resort also offers a shuttle to An Bang beach twice a day.

This property was great and I would recommend it. However, the AC unit in our room did not work Nd we requested it be fixed over and over again only to have it fixed on the night before we left. The app lace overall is great. The food was great. Loved the pool and the free massages.

Amazing service and fantastic place to relax. Our room rate came with a complementary massage every day which was brilliant. 10 minute walk from the old town for food at night. Would recommend staying here to rest and relax as it’s a much slower pace than Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh.
Only negative was housekeeping coming round to clean rooms at 530am and waking us up by banging doors and shouting housekeeping. Told the hotel about it and they just said it was because guests had left early and they wanted to get a head start to the cleaning. Fair enough but do it quietly at that time.

Absolute Paradise!

We did not want to leave at the end of our stay. We seriously considered canceling our visit to Hanoi to spend a few more blissful days at this hotel. The entire experience is so relaxing and while a resort, it is conveniently located close to the Old Town and offers a free shuttle service to the beach. We loved the complimentary 45 minute massage and how wellness was incorporated into every aspect of the experience. We had the pleasure of dining (poolside) at the restaurant and drinking delicious cocktails at the bar. Although we didn't use the complimentary bicycles, we were appreciative of their availability. We would absolutely stay again!
