This was a fantastic hotel. Great service, great restaurant, modern, large room with a comfortable bed and a wonderful view. This would easily have been a 5-star review if not for the strong perfume smell throughout the hotel including in the room. Unfortunately they had just installed dispensers throughout the hotel that spritzed perfume at frequent intervals the week before our arrival. Hopefully we with time they will adjust to a more tolerable level of odour. Or even better remove them entirely. We had our balcony door open the whole time and still couldn’t escape the smell

En déplacement pour affaires j’ai séjourné 4 nuits. Je suis chaque semaine dans les hôtels et j’ai choisi de séjourner à l’auberge pour son emplacement. Les installations sont très bien, le personnel est très accueillant mais malheureusement les clients de cet établissement ont gâché mon séjour. Les clients en groupe parlent fort, tape les portes et font la fête très tard. Comme les chambres ne pas très insonorisée il est impossible de dormir avant minuit. J’ai contacté la réception mais il n’y à personne en service durant la

Amazing grounds with stunning views. The staff is friendly and helpful. Only drawback is the sink got stuck and the shower has no pressure. We loved the large balcony overlooking the lake. You can rent a kayak or a paddle board on the private beach.

Great spot. We liked the beach, the pool and the breakfast. The kids loved the playroom. You can rent kayak on the beach. Room cleaning service is limited but it’s the only downside.

Coffee pot not replenished.
Breakfast was good.

No elevator,stairs were too narrow.We had only one drawer for 2 to put our clothes in.

For people who have trouble walking second floor should be avoided.

Nice location by the lake. A little distant from local amenities. On arrival the balcony had not been cleaned from an obvious party held there the night before. This was sorted out after a while.

Amazing stay with fantastic staff!!! We had only a slight problem on the our second night, a wedding was going on and the « bass » was so loud we couldn’t sleep. Right away the manager gave us the keys to the farthest possible room, their large suite!!!! Wow, what a way to handle it! We were VERY impressed.
We had put in our reservation that we were travelling with 2 kids, when we arrived a little rollaway bed was already out and ready for use! Our kids loved it.
Also, what can I say about the restaurant Rang 9?! Hands down the best eggs benedict I’ve ever had. We ate breakfast there twice and dinner once. Nothing but delicious things, the chef is amazing and so friendly! He even came to see us and explain certain menu items and recommend a cooking temp for my husband’s meat dish (which was fabulous so he was right!).
Finally, THE VIEW!!! Wow, gorgeous view of « Le Lac St-Jean ». Worth every penny!

Auberge is on the lake & you can sit in the Adirondack chairs or picnic tables & just enjoy.
Not all rooms are renovated so be careful with the pictures that you see on the sight. Mine was not remodeled & looked quite un down. I was only staying for 1 night, otherwise, I would have asked for a room change.
Dinning room is fine with an interesting dinner menu.

Very clean, but a bit old. Situated 20 feet from a nice sandy beach. The staff was nice and available. But most of all, the view from our room ( and all of them ) was to die for. Very much recommend l'auberge des iles.

Le site est magnifique et le personnel est d'une grande gentillesse. Chambre sombre le soir venu. Une lumière d'appoint serait vraiment essentielle pour lire et mème discuter. On trouve aussi innaceptable de devoir débourser 50$ pour lever le lit escamotable donnant accès à un sofa, parce que seule l'établissement a le contrôle et a la possibilité de l'activer.

Superbe séjour à l’auberge. Mention spécial au personnel qui était très agréable. Petite déception quant aux jeux d’eau qui n’était pas disponible au courant de la semaine mais sinon c’était vraiment super.

Nous avons été déçu de ne pas avoir été informé en amont que les jeux d’eau pour enfant étaient en maintenance. Nous avions choisi l’hôtel principalement pour cette raison. De plus, nous n’avons pas trouvé le personnel très courtois. C’était notre 2ème séjour à l’hôtel et probablement le dernier malheureusement.
