Terrible experience we booked a suite with a bath but upon arrival was told it’s not available and the front desk staff led by Mariela had a horrible and condescending attitude. DO NOT EXPECT THE ROOM YOU BOOK OR GOOD SERVICE

The hotel is within an old mansion and the art and decor are amazing, it’s so well done. The room was spacious and comfortable with the highest ceilings you’ve ever seen. There were also various quiet sitting areas throughout. The best part was the staff who were all beyond helpful and welcoming without being overbearing. But the attention to detail and thoughtful touches rivaled the best 5 star hotels such as constant snacks and drinks on offer, and contact prior to arrival by WhatsApp to arrange services such as a nearby hair appointment and massages at the hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Room was lovely
Communication was good.
Breakfast very good and complimentary afternoon tea was lovely too .
Restaurant and Bar looked good but never ate in restaurant.
It was disappointing that the roof top bar was not open for our entire stay - not staffed and was looking slightly shabby. It looked as if it had not been open for sometime.We were told we could order from the downstairs bar for drinks to be sent to the roof too but as there were no staff on the roof top this wasn’t an option.
The only other criticism is the staff constantly requesting tips for anything they do . Buffet breakfast is included and eggs were cooked freshly . This is the first hotel I have been chased to sign for the complimentary breakfast and the waiter has asked for a tip ! This occurred on every breakfast .
The same process happens at the complimentary buffet afternoon tea .
Maybe it’s because I’m European but I would not expect to tip for getting my own buffet breakfast!
I felt the pushy tip requesting from staff marred the experience.

Lovely hotel, conveniently located in the middle of the Barranco neighborhood. One block away from the ocean, a short walk from amazing restaurants, cafes and interesting shops. Very professional and friendly staff making sure that your stay is as enjoyable as it can be. Charming alternative to soulless large hotels.

Hotel/building- 6/10 ( this is an old house that was converted into a Hotel. It is made to feel and look like a boutique hotel.) Rooms are VERY small. Barely any natural light in the rooms. The windows are not supposed to be opened due to the location of the property (busy-main street) so the lack of natural light, plus the size of the room, can make you feel claustrophobic.
Things to note- hotel only has 1 steamer- for the all guests. So you need to reserve it in advance. Also, rooms lack stand alone full length mirrors.

Amazing Hotel Stay made even more special by the team who are all focused on customer service. The hotel is a beautiful building located in the buzzy / groovy area of Baranco which has loads of coffee shops / restaurants and small shops. We stayed 3 times at Hotel B during our 17 days stay in Peru and each occasion was as good as the previous time!

Hotel B is A . The hotel is a wonderfully located around terrific restaurants, Galleries, very walkable to the seaside and great parts of the city. The staff could not have been more accommodating and gracious. Breakfast each morning was fabulous with many options. The hotel is filled with artwork as are the rooms. This is a top-of-the-line boutique hotel. Very highly recommended.

This is a fabulous hotel. All of the staff members were super, breakfast was great, the rooftop bar was pleasant and convenient, and the room was quite comfortable. Only negative was lack of a swimming pool, but otherwise perfect.

Gorgeous property, all walls are covered in fantastic art. Beware of rooms on first floor with windows opening onto the street. The shutters cannot be open to let natural light in without fully opening the windows and letting all the vehicle exhaust & noise.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel B, and we can't say we have ever stayed at a place quite like this. The service was top notch. The food was delicious and inventive, and the bar has credibility around town for good reason. We are also so happy we decided to stay in Barranco instead of Miraflores. It was much more fun to walk around and shop in this neighborhood at the little boutique shops.

Wonderful stay!

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The room was comfortable and the natural lighting was so nice. Every inch of the property is full of history and art, which made the stay even more special. The rooftop bar has fantastic beverages and great little bites. Breakfast was served at a perfect flexible time and the food was delightful. If ever you have a chance to stay here, you will feel right at home. The staff were so helpful and kind! I accidentally left a pair of earrings in our room and they sent a courier to me in order to return them. You can't be customer service like that!

Great location, great food and great staff. They upgraded us to a beautiful room. Unfortunately it was directly beneath the rooftop bar area so it was noisy until about 11 each night. The room was amazing, but they may want to consider replacing the mattress which was quite worn out. All in all, I highly recommend this Hotel and neighborhood when visiting Lima!

Best hotel experience I’ve had in years. Service was totally next level. The only downside is there was some street noise if you are sensitive ask for a room away from the street or in a high floor. I booked last minute so can’t really complain, since they had no other rooms. Room was small but very comfy bed and great shower. Dinner and breakfast consistently amazing. Lovely rooftop even if the music got a bit much and also bled into the downstairs eating patio making some funky remixes. But overall 10/10 especially if you can get a discounted rate on here it’s the fanciest I’ve felt in a hotel.

Chic boutique hotel in a great area. Great food and beverages. We stayed for 2 day and one night with a late checkout. The room decor was nice but we found a big hair ball in the bathroom floor and had to notify the front desk; that was an unpleasant introduction. Our room was never cleaned the next day even though we left the room to explore the city early in the morning and did not place the ‘do not disturb’ black tie on the door. Not sure if it’s because we only stayed one evening or not but it would have been nice to come back to a clean room after a long days touring of the city. If you want to be in Barranco district then it’s a great option.

Perfectly located for walking, clean, gorgeous picturesque hotel with an incredibly friendly staff! I want to give out a special s/o to Miguel who was extremely accommodating. I stayed 2x at this hotel and both times he went above and beyond from helping retrieve items, we left at a restaurant to organizing to-go breakfast, for our early flights! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Above and Beyond - Exceeded Expectations!

The only bad part about my stay was having to leave! I received an upgrade with my hotels.com status and from the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I felt like a queen in an art gallery. They think about every little detail and go above and beyond. It’s also in an ideal location to walk to amazing restaurants and bars. I’m sad I only stayed one night but I know where I’ll be staying when I return to Lima soon.

Wow, there are not enough words to describe how much we loved staying at Hotel B! We came to Barranco following our 4 day/3 night Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu and were fully pampered; we barely left the hotel for the entire three days we were there! From the exquisite French vibes and endearing art decor lining the halls, to the incredible food and wine in all four dining areas, to the incredible massages we received in our room, and the unexpected room upgrade at check-in, every single moment spent at Hotel B was a pleasure. My friend and I most enjoyed perusing around town on the bicycles provided by the hotel staff, the adorable tea time and snacks in the hotel's library, and the outstanding brunch offered until 1pm daily. We will definitely be back to Lima soon, if not for any other reason than the opportunity to stay at Hotel B once again.

Really fun and convenient location in Lima. I did find the outdoor space in our room to be far too dirty. And the space is old and the room was musty. But it’s charm helped to combat it being a huge problem.

It’s an old mansion full of contemporary art which is pretty cool. Unfortunately our room was rather damp and we could smell the mold.

The receptions and the hotel manager need to study Hospitality 101. No sense of service and customer satisfaction and doesn’t deserve to be a part of Relais & Chateau.

Probably the best hotel that I have ever stayed in! And there have been a few around the world.

The inside is so stylish - art everywhere, and so beautifully displayed. The staff were exceptional. The breakfast has lots of choice but has plenty of local options, including the variety of cooked eggs. We had dinner there which was superb, but not cheap. Our room was exceptionally comfortable and had everything you might need.

We arrived quite late to Hotel B, the staff were very professional and we were given a free alcoholic drink upon arriving and a comprehensive tour of the hotel. Due to our schedule we did not have dinner or visit the bar, which looked great. We did however have room service which was tasty, and the breakfast was very good. When waiting to be picked up a member of staff when above and beyond by contacting our travel company to see where they were without us even asking. Great location in Barranco.

Hotel B was incredible. The architecture of the building, the room, the staff and the restaurant were all absolutely top notch. Location also cannot be beat, steps from a few of the ocean and plenty of things to do in Baranco alone. I plan on staying here anytime I’m in Lima in the future.
