Lovely stay, great location

Lovely stay. The hotel is in walking distance to the town. Amenities were great, has everything you need. Very comfortable and great communication from the owner, who was really helpful and informative. Highly recommend.

Great location and very responsive property manager. Smooth check-in process. We stayed in the Jasmine suite. Check the property website before booking for more details, such as room location, etc. Generally in good shape and clean. Bathroom is the only exception. It is small with handheld shower, and has seen better days. Heads up, the twin beds may work for younger kids but not comfortable for our teenager and adult kids. Also the second bedroom is not what you may expect- it is a half wall with curtains. Cute outdoor garden. The kitchen has all the basics you need.

The location is very good. Walkable to Acropolis and Agora. Just a couple of blocks from restaurants and shopping. The apartment is spacious and all amenities are there including a hairdryer with a defuser. It was a quiet street and well lit.

The apartment specially floors were dirty. Not enough towels and toilet paper for four people. One of the bedrooms window opens to a street. At 4 am on Friday morning we woke from loud noises on the street while people were setting up a farmers market right by our window, which took until 8 am. On Saturday morning, we woke up from loud construction noise across the street. We were given only one key to the apartment for the four of us. One night we left the key inside the apartment so we could t get in. I called the property manager who first said there were no other keys. Half an hour later, the property owner who lives above the apartment we were staying at, came out and opened the door with her key. We were stunned why the property owner who saw us earlier and knew we were locked out didn’t open the door for us sooner. The street the apartment is located at is rundown and depressing. Overall bad customer service. Location is at least 20-30 minutes from main attractions. We did get one night of refund from Expedia.

Great stay at Koukaki!

Amazing stay in the middle of the city. Koukaki area has great food and its 12 mins walk from Acropolis area. Room is very nice with a backyard where you could chill and relax in the morning with coffee.

Property was fabulous.
On a hill which was difficult for us as we are older. Lots of great eating places but no shopping. We were so happy that taxis were arranged for us both to the acropolis and the airport. This meant a lot to us. Lovely apartment.

This apartment was in a nice area that was very close to the Acropolis.. Konstantinos was a fantastic host… provided airport pick up and port drop off… when we arrived he sat us down and had suggestions for things to do and places to eat…please listen to him when he says go to the Acropolis by 8am!!!
The apartment was nice sized with 2 bedrooms and 2
Bathrooms which is a plus since there were 3 of us!! We had a great stay!!

Big and roomy in good location

Costas the manager is extremely helpful and kind. The location is quiet with easy access to all the major sites. The AC works very well. We stayed in the gardenia suite which is spacious and perfect for stretching out with 2 balconies. The only challenges were the tub is set high so if you are shorter it’s tricky to get in and out and can be slippery. It’s on the 3rd floor with no elevator so not good for those with mobility issues. Would absolutely consider staying here again though.

Great place to stay in Athens

We truly enjoyed our stay. The w bedroom apartment was spacious and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, the AC was cold and the WiFi worked great. The bathroom and kitchen were excellent. The small outside patio area was very nice. This was a great location, just a short walk to the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. The meetup station was nearby and lots of bars, restaurants, coffee cafes, and markets nearby. We felt very safe walking around the neighborhood day and night. Highly recommend!

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Koukaki Residence. It is beautiful! Kosta was amazing and oriented us to the whole area pointing out great dining options and sights to see. He also helped arrange our taxi back to the airport. We were able to walk to so many amazing sights. It was an outstanding experience.

Koukaki residence checked all our boxes. Would definitely stay there again.. The property manager, Kosta, was great. He gave us a little sit down on arrival and walked us through some recommendations on to-dos and to-avoids in Athens.. He was also very responsive to texts. The apartment was clean, quiet and comfortable. It was also very conveniently located relatively close to a metro & tram stop, plenty of wonderful restaurants, and of course the main attraction up on that hill.. There was also a wonderful market that pops up in the street in front of the apartment every Friday with fresh fruit, veggies, flowers, etc. We had just a marvelous experience on our 3 day/night stay. Highly recommend. Thanks Kosta (John & Mary from Ohio)!!

We thought the location was excellent. In a nice residential neighborhood and a 20 minute walk to the tourist areas (Acropolis museum, Plaka). Kosta was great and gave us good tips for eating and drinking. Amazing pop up street market on Friday right outside the front door. Nice room and comfortable bed. Thanks!

Ideal Place in Athens

Perfect place to stay in Athens. Konstantinos - the owner - was responsive to my inquiries and prepared a round-trip airport-hotel transfer service for me. Walking distance to major attractions: 10 minutes to the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum, 15 minutes to Plaka, 20 minutes to Monastiraki and 20 minutes to Syntagma Square. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, bars and supermarkets/groceries in the neighborhood. I had the Daphne room which was spacious and clean, with comfortable bed, pillows and blankets, functioning hot showers, temperature control, dining table and chairs, sofa, cabinet, electric kettle, nespresso machine and fridge, plates, glasses, spoons, forks, knives, coffee and tea. I was given orange juice and bottled water as welcome/complimentary items. Tap water was potable. Place is highly maintained because it is a family property handed down from the grandmother. There is an open area with tables and chairs around a lemon tree - perfect for relaxation with coffee or tea. Highly recommended! Thank you, Konstantinos.

We absolutely adored our stay at this property! After traveling from Italy and Mykonos, this stay was one of the highlights of our trip. Kostas at the property was very accommodating and went above and beyond for us. When our ferry got delayed and delayed our arranged pick-up from the port, he made arrangements to have a taxi pick us up promptly. Upon arrival he took the time to show us how everything in the room worked, and even sat down to show us the best sites to see in the area, restaurant and bar recommendations, you name it! He even went as far as sending us links to every place he recommended. At the end of our trip he checked in to see if we needed a ride to the airport too. The property itself is charming and unique! With a lovely courtyard and in a quiet part of the city, still walking distance from all the sites!

The property was great and Konstantino was amazing. Super nice and helpful, answered our questions whenever we had them and responded to all communication including arranging our airport transfers. Great property for families. Our only issue was in order for hot water you had to press a button and wait 40min for only about 5min of hot water to shower. Not very convenient for a family if 4 with 2 teenagers.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We stayed in almost 15 hotels and B&Bs during a three week visit to NYC, France and Greece. This was one of our favorites! Such a perfect apartment for a family of four—clean, spacious, quiet, secure, and beautifully designed. We liked it so much that we altered our plans and stayed an extra night here. The staff are like hosts who show up in person and orient guests to the apartment and the area. They are very responsive and helpful.

Special gem close to center in quiet area

We stayed in this lovely, special apartment for 3 nights prior to taking a cruise out of Athens/Piraeus. The apartment is spacious, beautifully furnished in old world style but with modern convenience. The building is in a quiet neighborhood but within easy walking distance of the Acropolis and city center sites. Being just south of the center also put us slightly closer to the Port. Loved being far from the madding crowds after wandering and sightseeing. There is a small supermarket close by and a great little restaurant/wine bar just 2-3 blocks away. Note: our apartment was up a couple of flights and there is no elevator. No issue for us but should be noted. Also know they go out of their way to get great airport/cruise port drivers and taxis but can't always control the quality of the service. Excellent hosts and great experience. Highly recommend this gem.

Stelios and Yianna were friendly, very accommodating and helpful with arranging transportation. Beautiful and very clean room. Perfect location being so close to the Acropolis and many great little restaurants. The inner courtyard shaded by a fragrant lemon tree was a wonderful place to relax at the end of each day.

This property is a little feminine for my 60 something year old male self but it is very comfortable and the owner made things even more special with the little extra touches. They stayed in touch with me as my stay got closer and arranged for my transfer from the airport. My transfer driver spoke English well and showed me around on our way to the property seeing things I would have missed otherwise. The owner met me at the property and showed me how things worked and made me feel welcome. The room was adequate size for me and the bed was very comfortable but It is the little details that make this property special. On the bed were some towels and slippers and in the fridge was some water and juice as well as a few snacks. The bathroom also had some shower washes and shampoo and conditioner. This owner cares that you enjoy your stay here and sent me an email afterwards stating the same. The property is located close to everything and I was able to walk to everything I wanted to see. As it is a little off of the usual tourist areas I found the prices for food at the great restaurants in the area to be very reasonable, if not cheep, as compared to other places I had visited. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a stay in Athens.

We stayed in Athens for two days to see the Acropolis. This hotel is located in the perfect walking distance to the Acropolis. It was in a safe area with locals nearby and restaurants to choose from. If you’re okay with a 10-15 minute walk, then this is a great option. The room was clean and met our needs. It was simple, but exactly what we needed.

Absolutely beautiful apartment, decorated with love, we felt right at home and didn't want to leave!
The location is fantastic, Yianna, who met us at check in was so lovely and helpful. Stelios very helpful as well, we had a little problem during our stay and they resolved it immediately.

Great, extremely large 2 bedroom apartment with separate kitchen and a dressing room. Everything is renovated, and in great shape. Apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Managers were really nice and helpful, they arranged a taxi for us and let us check in prior to check-in time, which was very helpful after an over night flight. Have only good things to say about the unit. The only part I didn't like is streets around the apartment, very run down, dirty, had a few abandoned houses. But maybe most of the Athens are the same. Not sure, had only 3 and a half days there to explore. Apartment is very close to major sights, like 10-15 mins walk, so we didn't have to use taxi or subway.

A wonderful boutique apartment in a nice area

I was in Athens for 2 nights and 1 day. I liaised with Stelios on Whats App on my TOA and Yianna was there to greet meet late in the evening.
The apartment is beautifully designed and all fixtures & fittings of very high quality! There was a large bottle of water, orange juice in the fridge, tea, coffee and a snack available too.
Yianna went through the map of Athens with me and recommended 2 local restaurants, one of which I ate at and was very good.
It was a 10–15 min stroll to the Acropolis.
I would definitely stay there again if I’m in Athens.
