The staff was very nice and the provided breakfast was wonderful! I really wish i had stayed here for my whole trip. Really cant beat the location and service for the price. Happy with everything.

Good location, clean room, welcoming staff, great breakfast. Constant bad smell in the bathroom though, like it was coming from the drains. Though this had a lot to do with the wet weather so we couldn't open the window to dry/air things out. Could also hear water running through the plumbing in our bathroom when other guests flushed or took showers.

Yes to all. The only thing that was unexpected was the location of the room on the main street. I thought I requested the most quiet room available. Noise was ok since the hotel has good soundproofing. Breakfast is better than anything experienced in the US; Outstanding and various selections.

Staff were helpful and the Breakfast was good, offering a great variety every morning.

Key point about this hotel is the location, we were on a bit of a budget so the fact it was near a metro station and only 10mins walk to the Acropolis entrance was great. Also we could get the metro direct from the airport for 9euros with just one change - very easy 40min journey.

There are lots of affordable places to eat near by, and this is a pretty good neighbourhood, where we felt safe walking around at night (and that can’t be said for all Athens Neighbourhoods).

Pick up point for out of Athens excursions to Corinth for example were only a 10min walk.
The old town/ shopping areas were 10-15 min walk away… with even more restaurants.

The only slight downside was the road noise for rooms at the front of the hotel, if you are use to piece and quiet at night, you will want to pack earplugs. I would recommend this hotel and the general area … it’s not the poshest… but then it’s not the most expensive, it’s a great base.

This hotel was centrally located but our room was small and dark and the view - of a d semi derelict office block office opposite - blocked all natural light. The bathroom - was minuscule with several small fixtures that needed attention - look the broken toilet seat, missing hooks etc. breakfast was fairly good but space limited. The hotel was very handy for the metro and several reasonable restaurants nearby, House keeping was very good and staff friendly and helpful.

We were able to check in early, which was greatly appreciated. The location is excellent, close to the metro and walkable to major sights. The room was spacious and lovely, our balcony was incredible! We also loved the huge shower. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommended!

The location of this hotel is excellent: right on a main street but still pretty quiet and safe, and easily walkable to the Plaka neighborhood and major attractions like the Acropolis. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly, and the breakfast options really exceeded my expectations. The room was small but well appointed, and perfect for tourists who are really just using the room for sleeping.

People from the reception where wonderful, they really take care of us!!! Especially John as soon we arrive offer us a bottle of cold water as of good tips where to eat. The bakery factory one block away from the hotel ( open 24 hours). Everything was perfect the very comfortably and spacious. And is a block away from the Metro stop. The rooms are very small. Wouldn’t want to stay more than one night with my son. The area also doesn’t appear to be the greatest part of Athens although there were plenty of people around. I do think it was relatively safe. The staff however was great and the breakfast was outstanding!!

Nice hotel in a good location in Athens. Two blocks to the metro station. 10 minute walk to the acropolis or one metro stop and Syntagma square is two metro stops. Looks like it has been updated somewhat recently. The shower has a rain head with good pressure. Bed was good but the only negative I can think of is that the sheets and blanket are very stiff and not soft. The elevator is cute and small but we were on first floor so no need to use it. The girl working the front desk was super nice and helpful. Breakfast is good and has decent variety and some traditional Greek dishes.

Our room was pretty amazing. There was a huge Hamman Sauna/ shower. The balcony was big and wrapped around the room
and you could have a drink and relax over looking the city and have breakfast on the deck of our room. Breakfast was really good, lots of fresh options. The metro is across the street and 1 stop from the Acropolis. It seemed like a less touristy area with a local pedestrian walkway with restaurants just a 5 min walk away.

Our room had a strong sewer smell coming from the bathroom. We mentioned it to the reception and were promised it will be addressed the next day. It was never addressed during our 8 day stay.
There is no room for toiletries next to the sink. The shower system needed some fiddling with to get it right and it was in dire need to be replaced.
This is the first hotel I stayed in were there are no glass made glasses allowed in the room! You get two old, scratched, disgusting plastic cups that should have been recycled 50 years ago!
Any other hotel we stayed in Greece provides complementary bottled water, not Syngrou FIx.
The breakfast is good. It has cold cuts, cheese and spinach pies, eggs, fruits cheese, Greek yogurt etc. However, there seem to be more than one property that is using this breakfast area so it gets very crowded and it runs out of room quickly.
We will not stay here again.

The room was tiny. It made mt cruise cabin look large. The coffee pot was dirty and there was no coffee in the room. The lamps beside the bed either did not work or did not work well. However. the bathroom was decent with a good shower with a handheld shower (thank God). The included breakfast was very good. Every staff member I met was both polite and helpful. The location is very good although there were a few sketchy looking area surrounding the hotel. All the Athenians we met were great. helpful and welcoming. Yeh Athens!

The hotel’s location is very convenient because is walking distance to main sights and has access to buses and a metro station within two blocks.
The room we had was a bit small but had everything you need for a short stay.
The breakfast was excellent.
If you are a light sleeper, be aware that the rooms are noisy because the hotel is on a very busy road.
The Staff is very friendly and helpful!!
There are many restaurants in the area, including a 24-hrs eatery with great selection of Greek pastries and hot dishes.

The room we stayed in was on 6th floor next to a common area with tables & chairs. (I think they referred to it as the business center. During our stay no one used that space, so we had the entire floor to ourselves. Our room was amazing. It had a huge, wrap around balcony. It was fresh, clean and the bathroom was like a spa, with a steam shower. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked great. The location was near a metro stop and easy for us to walk to the Parthenon, museum etc.
