Nice simple hotel with nice rooms and helpful staff. Bathrooms are small and you better keep curtains closed if your room in the back. Not a pretty view. Also NO internet for over 24 hours, reason \"Welcome to Greece\". Neighbors had no issues.

Front desk staff are fantastic. Also the wonderful breakfast woman offering warm croissants and fruit was so friendly.

I never thought a hotel in Athens would be one of our favorites but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

The room was much quieter than we expected, clean and served us well for our stay.

We spent a long weekend at the hotel, the reception staff were very friendly. Breakfast was basic continental but was free with booking so no complaints. Breakfast was on the roof top. Would have been a five star review if it wasn't for the next rooms door slamming. We kept thinking someone has come into our room. This was more to do with the neighbouring guest not being curtious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visit Athen Acropolis.

Very friendly, clean, quiet lovely room and the rooftop breakfast was perfect

It was a short 10 min walk to the acropolis
Busses, metro and tram close by which is handy 1 stop to acropoli and 2 stops to syntagma. Coming from the airport on the train change at syntagma and go 2 stops to FIX -then its a 2 min walk

The location was fine for me and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay however it’s on a busy street in a non tourist area with no restaurants etc within close walking distance - if you don’t mind a short walk it’s great

Cute hotel only 10 min walk to Acropolis. Staff was friendly, check in was smooth and quick. The room isnt huge but big enough with modern features. The staff kindly held onto our luggage for weekend when we went on a Meteora trip and provided a breakfast box as we had to be up super early. The street is very busy but I didnt find it loud at all in the room. I would stay here again if I return to Athens.

GREAT LOCATION FOR THE PRICE! Easily walkable to the Plaka, Museum, and sites. The staff was helpful with suggestions and ordering airport taxi. Breakfast was basic but the breakfast lady was super friendly though non-english speaking. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend a stay.

What is there not to love about this hotel. Sarah, the manager is so helpful, cheerful, and also pretty; she was very helpful settling me in the hotel and suggested all the wonderful things to do. I have been to Athens three times. I didn’t do the touristy things this time but lived with the locals and did things I don’t even know existed. She revised my list of things to do and taught me how to ride the subway like the locals and ditched the tour bus. Chris the receptionist was also very helpful in checking me in after a long trip.

The room is big and clean. I was very comfortable. It is centrally located among the main attractions. Its price is much lower than comparable hotels in the area. It was a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

I liked the 24 hour reception. The staff was very friendly. Juliet very helpful to us. Hotel is on a major street and so night time is noisy. I had read that in other reviews and yes it is noisy but you can sleep. It walkable to Acropolis and Plaka.

Great comfort and great location

Small and cute hotel in center of Athens. Only 15 minutes walk to all major attractions like the Acropolis. We booked for 3 people so we have 1 bed in 1 room and 1 sofa bed in sorta living room. Bathroom and bedrooms are good size but very clean. For us cleanliness is the most important. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room insulation is not great as you can hear cars in early morning but it is not a big deal.

The staff is really nice and helpful. The room is okay, good size and clean. The hotel is close to metro, Acropolis and other sightseeing areas, so really good location. To sleep was a little difficult because of the noise from the street. The breakfast is really simple, with coffee from a Nescafé machine, some bread, cheese and mini pastries.

I’d not recommend

I’d not recommend this place to anyone who is sensitive to noise. The hotel is next to a 6 lane busy road and the windows are not sound proofed. I had to buy earplugs otherwise I’d have had to look for another hotel. I usually don’t spend a lot if time in the hotels because I like to be out, but I never book the cheapest place either. I’ve asked if there is a room available in the back straight away but they said they’re fully booked. Not sure as the day I arrived, my level had only me, so the back rooms might be the more expensive ones. The breakfast was also disappointing, sadly not sure where 2 of the photos are from but I’ve not seen that at this place. No hot food, there were times some food completely run out and they rarely filled them up. There were some boiled eggs but out of 5 days, I could only eat it twice. I’ve tried to go different times with little luck. The view from the rooftop terrace is nice though. Also there is a coffee machine in the room but the milk pots were expired in February. The only reason I’m not giving this place 1 star is because of the friendly receptionists and the bed and pillows were comfortable. I also found the area relatively safe and really close to all attractions, restaurants and shops.

Very good hotel, in central area of Athens close to touristic places. Very nice service in general. Good room, modern and with necessary amenities. Only downsize was breakfast: basic and area in basement. Decided to go nearby to good eateries.

At arrival we were greeted by a restriction name Elena Was very dry. While we went to our room, we noticed the room was very crap.and hot we left to go sing seeing but went go back 4 hr later the room still was very hot . Call the reception Elena and she came up and told me that I didn’t know how to use it !! and look at me like was it stupid she proceeded to reset the air conditioner setting and left. I contacted Expedia immediately requesting to be canceled the reservations. I didn’t feel welcoming in the place in the room two hours after to reset it is still hot. Frustrated didn’t do much for us. I waited 24 hours because I don’t want to lose my money she said won’t be no refunded and Expedia sent me an email saying it will give me $50. Can I use reservation? I have no receipt so that’s what happened the next day manager arrive and she switch a room to a better room with air-conditioning , check out August 10 And check into a better hotel we didn’t know uses Expedia for this reservations.

The room was clean, just smaller than expected, but maybe thats just me being used to american hotels. Bathroom was clean and good size. Recommend ‘superior room’

We stayed in a superior room for our last night in Europe and the room was very comfortable and fresh - lovely shower, cosy queen bed, big tv, cold water in fridge, sofa and small balcony. The breakfast was ok although terrible Nescafé coffee. Reception staff were helpful and luggage storage no problems. We were able to explore Athens sites nearby and then come back at night to collect our bags and use toilet before heading to airport.

The staff was good except upon check in they made us wait until they were off their personal phone call, one team member was rude to my adult daughter when she went to all am amenities question and also had an incident with the same team member. Unfortunately during our entire two week stay we only had hot water in our room one time. They did try to accommodate us buy letting us go to a different room when someone had checked out before someone else checked in on the separate occasions. If I had stayed in a hostel that might be acceptable except that I have never stayed in a hostel not would I. In reality when booking a hotel room hot water is not an amenity. They really were apologetic don’t misunderstand me but, it was not acceptable. I am a senior citizen who had just had both knees replaced and a hip and the room they put us in had at least a 12 to 14 inch step down to even get in the bathroom. If my husband or daughter would not have been in the room with me I would still be stuck in that bathroom. Our daughter was there with us for the first of the two weeks and never got to take a hot shower once, she took cold showers the whole time. I struggled with this. Breakfast was good/adequate but it was literally the exact same thing every single day, which gets really old after two weeks, some variety would have been nice. The manager felt really bad and was very nice and helpful as was the other team member, housekeeping and the lady who maintained the breakfast were great

Overall good experience; clean hotel, modern facilities. We were on the fifth floor and the AC seemed to struggle; the lowest setting is 19°C and our room consistently was at 21.5°. It would have been okay if there was at least some air movement, but since the AC unit was around the corner from the bed (at least in our room), we ended up sweating through the nights.

Really clean place, good staff, easy to walk everywhere, close from public transportation, safe district. The only comment I have to tell is about the breakfast lunchbox : it's really cool to offer that but I'd hope some variation in it and to have a drink also. I recommend that place from now on to everyone that wants to visit Athens. Cool rooftop terrasse too ! Another important point : 2 twin size beds doesn't mean 2 separate beds as in America. (even if it says 1 bed or 2 twin beds, you'll only have 1 bed in the room)

Very well located only few minutes from Acropolis. Breakfast is good with decent choices. Rooms are VERY, VERY small. I don't really care, as we used the room only to sleep. However, it was even hard to move within beds.

The rooms are extremely small and should not be advertised to accommodate 4 people. There was barely any space to walk and we were literally running into things as we walked around the room. Moreover, the bathroom fittings were cheap and dysfunctional. Particularly the shower sliding door and the soap dispenser just wouldn’t dispense the soap no matter how hard you press it. To add to this, I sensed bit of an attitude while communicating with the reception staff. Not that I’d have cared much had the hotel itself lived up to the expectations, but when you’re met with an attitude on top of an already sub par hotel, after having paid top dollar, you’ve got to complain about the bad experience.

Too bad. I booked on 23 Nov, and was notified 2 weeks after, and was notified on 23 Dec (day of departure) that they have mechanical issues and they can’t accommodate. They mentioned Expedia was notified. But Expedia never told us. It was a bad experience with Expedia and hotel. I was changing flights and looking for hotel.. Expedia accommodation is a bad apartment and no breakfast for a week.

Wonderful hotel within walking distance of the edge of the Plaka dining and shopping. Hotel very clean and well appointed. Front desk team was absolutely wonderful! Very knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again. And be sure to go to The Coffee Joint one block away from the property. Wonderful family owned business and everyone goes above and beyond for every customer.

We didn't stay too long but generally the condition of the hotel was convenient. The only issue with the room we stayed, there was no hot water and soap. The shape of the room was very unusual. We needed to take stairs to go down to the bathroom in the room.

I would highly recommend the Urban Frame Hotel to my friends and family. Urban Frame Acropolis is a very new updated hotel. Everything was amazing. I can not stress enough, the location was amazing! Incredibly close to everything. One thing that I did not realize when I booked the room, was the size. I will admit, it was pretty small. But for the price and the location, it was worth it. I was there with my wife and 2 sons, age 7 and 5. At times it got a little tight, but we were there specifically for sightseeing. We did not spend much time in the room anyway. The room was immaculately clean and the bed was super comfortable. Most important also, the air conditioning worked great. Very important after a long afternoon of sightseeing in the hot sun. Demetrius at the front desk was so helpful!! Our first day of sightseeing, as we walked out, he stopped me and asked me what our plans were? Do we know where we want to go? Can I help? Then he gave us a map and all kinds of recommendations and directions. He was such a great help and a big asset to a successful Athens experience.
