We really enjoyed the room. The jetted tub and large shower was amazing. The building was beautiful and private. I gave this hotel a 5 star for these reasons. The downside was it was very challenging to get to with luggage. The reception desk is very far from the room itself, which you need to take a very crowded cobble stone street to get to the room. The code would not work to open the locked gate to get to the reception desk for check in, so we had to wait until someone needs cited the building to get in. Overall, we really did love the room.

Very disappointing stay. The room had a strong unpleasant smell from the moment we arrived, which made it uncomfortable to spend time in. The bathroom was in poor condition, with visible rot and clear signs of a lack of maintenance.

The shower did not work properly and leaked heavily onto the bathroom floor, leaving water everywhere after each use. This was both inconvenient and a safety hazard.

The breakfast was honestly one of the worst hotel breakfasts I have ever experienced. The selection was extremely poor, the quality was disappointing, and it did not meet even basic expectations for a hotel stay.

The hotel looks much better in the photos than it does in reality. For the price paid, I expected a clean, well-maintained room with decent facilities, but unfortunately the condition of the room, bathroom, and breakfast fell far below expectations.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others unless significant improvements are made.

We stayed in one of the anex rooms and it was an extre step to check in to the main office and then walk over and figure out all the entry codes. But once that was settled it was great. The room was beautiful with tall painted ceilings and windows. It was right in the middle of old town with a ton of restaurants and shops. I’d definitely stay again.

The location of the hotel/apartment was excellent—right in the city center.
At first glance, the bathroom seemed fine, but on closer inspection there were some issues, such as water leaking onto the floor and dripping from the water heater. Overall, it did not feel very professionally finished.
That said, this did not ruin the great experience we had in Naples or the feeling of being right in the middle of everything. If you don’t mind some noise in the evening and at night from people going out and nearby bars and restaurants, Il Tesoro is a great place to stay.

Central location in Naples. Clean room. The shower and toilet leaked water all over the bathroom floor and we were told this is “normal”. Having a constantly wet bathroom floor was unpleasant. Staff were helpful and overall it was a nice enough place to stay and the location was great.

We spent one night at the satellite location in a \"family room\". It was much bigger than anticipated and very comfortable. There were several nice restaurants and wine bars on the street. It was near many of the famous pizzerias and Spaccanapoli.

The satellite location is a bit more like an Airbnb, with 3 suites in a building that has a common courtyard. It was a bit confusing getting access, but the staff was great and responsive about answering all of my questions. I was able to work it out that we checked in electronically (paying through a payment app and sending our passport pictures), thus we were able to go directly to our satellite location, saving the several block walk.

The room was clean, the staff very friendly and courteous. Pretty good breakfast to start the day. The hotel location is ideal because is close to the historic center and in the middle of a lot of attractions, bars, and restaurants.

The room was large, well lit, quiet and comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The reception member of staff was helpful. We enjoyed staying near the cathedral and other architectural attractions.
The downside was the the three flights of stairs up to the Smart Suite.

Naples is … a little crazy … but this place was terrific! A convenient location and wonderful staff! Marcella was especially helpful turning us on the to the very BEST eats! We enjoyed the breakfast which offered a large array of fresh food and baked treats.

We loved the location but it was hard for family members to reach by car. Lots of food and Spaccanapoli is right around the corner. Breakfast was very good. The people running the hotel are all friendly and very helpful.

The room was nice, the staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. I wish the staff was around a little more -- the desk was usually un-staffed.

The neighborhood, for Naples, is fine. It's a half block from the Spaccanapoli, which is great. But Naples, to be blunt, is dirty, noisy, dangerous and also beautiful. I don't think you will find any better neighborhood in this historic section of town. But if you are expecting normal first world standards like clean sidewalks, no graffiti, safe after dark, you may be disappointed.

A nice hotel in a classic courtyard building. Around the corner from Spaccanapoli. A couple of blocks down that street brings you to Christmas Alley. Steps to Duomo subway station. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfast buffet including cappuccino available. I think we paid 5 euros per person per day for breakfast.

Arriving late at night to this so called 4* hotel, I was convinced we must have got the address wrong. It’s a closed metal gate only accessible by ringing a buzzer through to reception. When the (dirty) gate is unlocked, it leads through to a courtyard reminiscent of Glasgow tenement building from the 60’s. Guests must then climb two flights of marble stairs to get to the hotel front door. After this it gets much much better. Nice clean hotel with very friendly & welcoming staff. There is construction work going on during the daytime, elsewhere in the hotel, so it’s very noisy with drilling & hammering etc. with an open window, there is also a lot of traffic noise. The main advantage of the hotel is its very central location, with walking distance to all the main tourist attractions and railway stations for Pompei and Herculaneum etc

Iltesoro states they have parking.

I specifically called ahead of time to confirm they have parking. Was told that they don't have parking on premises but will advise once I where to park for 30euro. Arrived at 10.30pm just to find out that night administrator doesn't know anything about parking and can't help.
Spent next half hour driving around neighborhood to find that parking.

Otherwise good stay. Breakfast was good.

Expedia, please remove that this hotel has parking.

There is a reform on the hotel and the front of it is not the most impressive. It is right in the middle of the 'centro estorico'. The room is big and comfortable but the neighbourhood is rather noisy - apart from between 12 am and 7 am. We arrived at noon and the room was not ready , even though the hotels.com site stated the check in was at 12 ( the hotel claimed it was 2 pm instead.) Stay was ok. If i come back to Naples, I will probably stay at Chiaia instead. Cleaner and less messy.

Friendly staff, nice room w perks & good location

The staff were friendly and very supportive. They speak English, Spanish and italian.
They explained us how to use the AC, wifi and have extra perks like complimentary mini bar, tv streaming and more.
The room was big, clean and the location is close to the central station.
The breakfast is included and is pretty good. I had fruit with yogurt, a sandwhich from the bread/ ham/ cheese bar. They made cappuccinos for my wife and I.
The price is fair and competitive. I really recommend.

Good place to stay in Central Naples

We stayed for one night, arriving after midnight. The nigjt clerk was very friendly, waiting for us to arrive. The room was vlean, and breakfast being brought to our room was a plus. The hotel is very conenient and close to the historic district, and the day staff gave us recommendations of what to see.
On the negative side, the hotel is not on the ground level, and there currently is no elevator (renovations are in progress), so we had to drag our suitcases up and down the stairs.

Overall the stay was good. Room was very large and clean. Breakfast served in the room, was always on time. Location is excellent. The rainfall shower makes it a bit difficult to wash hair and it tended to spray water outside of the shower stall. The square toilet is uncomfortable. The mattress was too firm. Friendly staff and easy check in and check out.
