Hotel is right next to a great pizzeria. The neighborhood is in walking distance of many active places with restaurants and shops. There’s also a small kitchen you can use. Unfortunately our key wasn’t working and the host only speaks Italian and us English so check in was ok with interpreter but when their was an issue it was hard to figure out over the phone. Twice we were stuck out of our room for 10-30 minutes. The TV also didn’t work which was not a huge deal as we were out most the time on adventures. The host was very nice and trustworthy as I left my purse outside the door when trying to get the key to work and he found it and brought it to me immediately with nothing missing. Overall it was an average room with a decent location.

Perfect, very clean and quiet in a great location to see Naples. Easy check in and out and lots of little additional extras as well as drinks in the mini fridge. Great stay, would recommend.

Perfect for an inexpensive stay. Close to great eateries. Don’t expect major chain hotel amenities. It’s a great place to sleep and shower. It’s not meant to hang around in all day.

I am only writing this after trying to give the property owner and Expedia a chance to fix things with a refund.

The room is functional, though the washroom is poorly designed in terms of humidity, pressure, and drainage. Unfortunately, the wifi does not reach the bedroom.

More importantly the air conditioning did not work in our room! I messaged the owner about this repeatedly, and after giving me suggestions that did not work (like asking me the empty the A/Cs water collection, they completely stopped replying until after my checkout when they \"apologized\". It was 40° outside, and I told them I had a young child who was not doing well in the heat and I just needed someone get the A/C to work...they stopped responding. I had to leave at 3am to find an airconditioned place for my daughter.

The worst part is that they left me hanging, with no response. I'm not tech savvy, but I'll find a way to upload the screen shots from our conversation so you can see who you're dealing with before you book this place.

we loved our stay here, but we aren’t very needy/picky. AC was great, beds and bathroom were clean, self check-in let us get in after our late arrival — the only downside was that the wifi did not reach our room (#3), but it worked fine in the common areas.

We had a great stay here, very comfortable room, easy self check-in as we arrived late at night. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Only drawback was a few things were broken, such as a shower door was missing. However, it was fantastic value for money and in a great location, so still highly recommended.

It was a great room in a good location. Very affordable. There was an elevator too! Very comfortable! Only issue was the wifi did not work in the room(specifically room 3) and the room did not have good signal either. Also missing the toilet seat. Breakfast place was closed every time we went.

Location is great. Bed and bath comfortable. BUT i did not like not being able to communicate with owner. There is no whats app. Like all the othe places i have stayed. We had a major water leak in our room and noone responded to my emails. Overall its a fancy hostle

The room was in bad shape. The walls had holes and stains all over. This room def had some miles on it. The sofa had crumbs on it and they neglected to clean it. I don’t think they laundry the blankets as it had new stains on them. Seems like they just fold them up after each guest. The hot water was turned off at night in the entire building. The on demand hot water system was powered off and they walked me through turning it on. However, in the morning, the hot water system malfunctioned so no one in the building could shower.

This property was terrible. We had high hopes with the reviews but we got everything the negative reviews had mentioned. The room was dirty, water all over the bathroom floor, the hot water didn’t work, and the lights did not switch off in the room. So we had to sleep with the lights on all night. The reception said she would look into a refund and as soon as we left they said no refund. I would not recommend this place at all.

We had a great stay at B&B Grand Archivio! The staff “Lucio” was so friendly and helpful for our stay. He pointed out all the good parts of his city for us to explore. The place was very clean and adjacent to a great pizza place next door. Super close to good shopping walking areas. I would highly recommend this place to stay while visiting Naples.

Lucio runs a really lovely place.... Spotlessly clean, comfortable, modern, very well located in the centre of the historical area and within walking distance of the main station, lovely breakfast, quiet and safe. I had the best nights sleep for ages! But what really stands this place out is what you really hope for in a B&B (over a hotel) and that is a very hospitable owner. Lucio clearly prides himself in running a friendly establishment. Nothing is too much trouble. And he takes the time to offer great local recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants and nightlife, and to engage with his guests. I can't recommend this B&B highly enough... it's your home away from home in Napoli!

We had a fantastic stay with Lucio.

His quirky, fun BnB in a nice old building is close to everything, comfortable and spotlessly clean.

He is extremely helpful, charming and laid back. He gave us recommendations and ordered a taxi for us to the airport, provided maps and routes to walk. He got the mixture of being available to guests but giving you privacy as well, just right.

We used the breakfast room to eat a takeaway dinner one evening and it was no problem.

As the room was to the back of the house and the rooms were in different wings of the building, we had quiet nights.
The foam beds were a bit hard for us and my very tall partner had to navigate the tiny shower and toilet a bit carefully, but we were very happy overall! So glad we stayed here and we would love to come back.

We are so glad we met Lucio! He is an excellent host, and we enjoyed our stay very much. Lucio met us at check in and explain the room, the breakfast, and then provided a map and spent 15 minutes making suggestions of what to see and where to go in Naples. Lucio made wonderful breakfasts and excellent cappuccinos, and was always friendly and made us feel welcome. He was also willing to hold our bags after check out and meet us at the B&B late at night to collect our bags.

We really loved the location of this B&B: It is just a block away from Via San Gregorio Armeno (the “Christmas Alley”) and just a few blocks away from the Duomo di Napoli and some of Napoli’s most famous pizzerias (Di Matteo, Antica Da Michele, etc.). It’s about a 15-minute walk from the Napoli Centrale train station for the Circumvesuviana, or a 15-minute walk the other direction to the ferry terminal.

Our thanks to Lucio for a wonderful stay and excellent hospitality.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at B&B Grande Archivio. The location is on a small street close to central Naples. About a 15 minute walk from Napoli Centrale train station. The streets may seem scary at first if you are used to nice tourist locations but it's really just what all of Naples looks like. The city is gritty but otherwise it's like most other highly urbanized cities. Just be aware of your surroundings as you should in any new location and stick to the big streets and you'll be fine. Check in was super easy. Lucio handles the front desk and care of the guests. Prior to arrival, he messaged me via email so that he could be available at my expected arrival time. The B&B has space to keep your luggage in case you arrive super early and can not check in yet. Lucio is wonderful, thoughtful, and extremely helpful. On the first night, my party actually left our large luggage and packed a bag to go spend the night in the Amalfi coast. Lucio messaged me on WhatsApp the next day as he was concerned that our beds were left in the exact state as they were when we arrived. I felt so bad! He was concerned that something happened to us. Upon our return, Lucio provided many great suggestions of what to do and where to eat. The fried pizza from the pizzeria right next to the B&B was delicious and recommended by Lucio. This B&B was everything that I expected it to be. It had everything that I needed to have a comfortable stay.

Excelente opção para omcentro antigo de Nápoles

Foi uma estadia de apenas um dia, mas foi muito confortável e fomos muito bem recebidos. Pudemos deixar nossas mochilas no estabelecimento mais cedo, antes do horário e mais tarde, quando vamos, encontramos um quarto muito limpo e confortável. O banheiro era muito bom e limpo também.

Struttura comoda perché a 2 passi da spaccanapoli. Il palazzo è attaccato alla pizzeria la figlia del presidente, all’interno di ztl. Quindi consiglio a chi deve soggiornare di fermarsi prima del ponticello perché si rischia la multa. Nel complesso il beb si presenta bene quindi consigliato. La nostra camera ha qualche cosa da sistemare. Non rispecchia le aspettative di una suite però ha tutte le comodità che servono. Le scale del palazzo sono sporche e anche nei dintorni c’è parecchia spazzatura. Il check in si può fare dopo le 14 e finché non si inviano i documenti le credenziali di accesso non vengono fornite. Colazione non compresa.
Consigliato soprattutto per la posizione e per chi vuole girare a piedi.

Ok til billig pris

Du får hva du betaler for. Billig overnatting, ok for en natt, men det er rart å kalle noe «bed and breakfast» uten frokost. All kommunikasjon per What’s app, fungerte jo ok, men det var fint å treffe en i resepsjonen da vi dro. Behjelpelig å ringe taxi, ble billigere enn om vi hadde bestilt selv. Pluss for god seng.

Inizio disastroso. La host (la signora) é stata molto sgarbata nello spiegarci le regole del b&b.
Le condizioni della struttura lasciavano a desiderare. Il palazzo era sporco, la struttura pure. Una sedia dell’area comune si é rotta,con il rischio che una di noi si facesse male. Le tapparelle erano rotte, gli asciugamani nuovi erano sporchi, i piumoni e il bagno pure. Gli unici lati positivi sono stati la signora delle pulizie, l’host (ragazzo) e il bar associato per la colazione compresa (per la loro simpatia e cortesia). Per il resto direi esperienza da non ripetere, soprattutto per la maleducazione della host (signora).
Ho cercato di contattare la struttura più volte per conto della stanza a fianco, in cui alloggiavano turisti stranieri che non potevano chiamare il numero italiano, senza ricevere risposta e senza essere richiamata.
Non torneremo.

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura un po' casareccia, potrebbe essere migliorata in molti aspetti,non mi hanno rilasciato scontrino , anche la tassa di soggiorno non ho ricevuto nulla, le camere un po' stretti e noi eravamo in 3, per fortuna non siamo molto esigenti.tutto sommato e un passo da spaccanapoli

Lo mejor que tiene es la localización.
Las paredes son de papel, la TV no funcionaba, el grifo y mampara de la ducha estaban rotos y la comunicación con el personal es prácticamente imposible (decían que no habían recibido mi documentación, a pesar de que ellos mismos me habían enviado emails respondiendo al mail en el que estaba todo adjuntado…).

Abbiamo soggiornato per due giorni (ponte dei Santi) struttura molto carina, pulita ed accogliente, il ragazzo che ci ha accolti molto disponibile e gentile!
Due minuti a piedi da spaccanapoli e il resto del centro! Posizione perfetta! Consiglio a tutti! Ci tornerei!

Personale quasi assente, stanza che lascia insoddisfatti.. stanza rossa con armadio pieno di muffa e crepe in bagno, l’odore sgradevole di muffa resta sui vestiti.
Pulizie a tratti.
