Our host had great communication. He texted us using WhatsApp to coordinate what time we would arrive to meet us. The location is 5 minutes walk from the train/bus stop. We took the train then transferred to a quick bus ride. Very convenient location esp traveling with 2 small kids. The hotel has a little elevator to lug up your luggage’s. The room is located on the 4th floor so we were thankful there was an elevator. It’s a shared space. They offer some pastries, juice, coffee, and yogurt for breakfast. Free use of the kitchen and filtered water available to refill your water bottle. Would recommend!

The bedroom, bathroom and terrace were all fairly large for European standards. It is not a luxury unit but was just what we needed. Bed was comfortable We arrived on an overnight flight and check in time was 2 pm. The room was not ready - needed cleaning but we were able to leave our bags there and get the key so we could return in the afternoon. Staff were very attentive and immediately reachable on what’s app -
The neighborhood was urban but nice - had some good small restaurants and 2 grocery stores near by. We were about 18 minutes from the central train station and about the same in the other direction. To the port/ferries

People we communicated with were polite and helpful but there is no staff on site so it was all done via What’s App. A big disadvantage with no one there. “Breakfast” (pastries) arrived an hour later than advertised. Says 7, came at 8.
Very dated and no space to put anything in the bath or room. Bathroom not cleaned well with mold in the shower. Would never stay there again.

Wasn't what was advertised. Room wasn't even one from any pictures. 'breakfast' was a handful of pastries - which were good quality at least - that were dropped off in a morning. On a positive, considering the area feeling unsafe, and the accommodation being a tad untoward... At least the door to the apartment had a good lock on it.

My family and I recently stayed at B&B Universita (August 2025). The room was perfect for a family of four and was very clean. There was also a kitchen located down the hall, which is especially very handy when traveling with kids. This was available 24 hours per day and there were always snacks, espresso, etc...Parking was also available right behind the building for a fee. Our host was very friendly, flexible, and communicated with very well with us prior to our stay. The location was very central as well and we walked to major sites in Naples within 5-7 minutes and felt very safe. We would certainly return.

The property was in a good location for getting around Naples. We stayed in an executive room but it was basic. No safe and the bathroom wasn’t very clean in the shower area. Mould and someone else’s hair in the shower tray. The executive rooms are in a building away from main building. It was reasonably quiet so that was nice. We also thought we’d have a balcony but our room was the only one that didn’t. Shared kitchen was ok just used for making a drink in the morning.

Ottimo soggiorno a Napoli. Ci ha accolto Ominda, un ragazzo educatissimo e puntuale. Ci siamo interfacciati anche con il proprietario, Rosario, per un problema che era sorto e si è messo a disposizione con tanta gentilezza; ci ha anche dato il suo numero privato nel caso in cui avessimo avuto bisogno di altro. La stanza era accogliente, la struttura credo nuova o al massimo ristrutturata da qualche anno. La posizione ottima, con qualche minuto a piedi sei in via Toledo o comunque vicino la metro. Bagno soddisfacente.
L’unica cosa che ha lasciato un po’ a desiderare è stata la colazione. Secondo me potrebbero aggiungere anche qualche frutto o della marmellata/miele. C’era il tostapane ma non il pane da tostare😅. Magari se avessimo chiesto ce li avrebbero procurati perché sono gentili, ma avere tutto a disposizione é un altro tipo di comodità, ovviamente, soprattutto quando si é in vacanza. In definitiva siamo stati bene e torneremo.

We stayed at the property for 4 days. The hotel was in a fantastic location and easy to find when we arrived. The building was really secure and we felt comfortable going in and out of the B&B.

The biggest benefit to booking this property was the host, Eleonora was very helpful in telling us all the details for getting to the property and met us for check-in. Eleonora then provided us with lots of information about the area and make some good recommendations.

It was greatly appreciated and we would stay here again.

Francesca was an excellent host; her communication was consistent, her knowledge of the area, where to go and what to do was extensive and she strove to meet our needs. Unfortunately the residents in the other two apartment rooms were quite noisy, at very late hours and the walls are thin. The shared entry magnified their noise. Also, the bathroom, although well laid out and updated, had lots of mould.

Very good value accommodation in Central Napoli

Stayed one night. The accommodation is well located within central Naples within easy walking distance of the main railway station, Metro and main tourist areas. The room itself was clean and comfortable and the host friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with through WhatsApp when, for example, agreeing a check-in time. Breakfast consists of tea/coffee and croissant and is provided in the kitchen area, which also provides access to a communal fridge and coffee/water.

Great for a two night stay

I will start with the many positives! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, particularly Francesco. The balcony was such a highlight and so special. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was very clean. And the location was fantastic! We didn’t need to take the metro anywhere. We walked to every site we went to :).

There are some areas with room for improvement. To start, the lighting in the room was too white and had only one overhead light. It gave the room a clinical feel at night. Some bedside tables with warm light would go a long way. The building that our room was in was very run down. It was an interesting (and authentic) experience but nothing like the pictures. The fridge in room didn’t work. And the closet was broken with no hangers. Honestly with a few minor upgrades (lighting, fixing the fridge and closet) the room would be perfect. The room also smelled strongly of sulphur when we first got there but went away after a few hours of airing it out with the balcony. And that may just be Naples ;).

All in all, it’s still a great price for what you get and we had a positive experience. If they made those minor upgrades and we were put in main building, we’d happily stay again!

Great location for exploring the city of Napoli. Francesca was great to communicate with and provided recommendations of things to see/do during my stay. The only downside is the rooms are all connected to a small (private) hallway so when someone comes back in at night or leaves in the morning, you can hear them from your room (especially when they let the entrance door slam shut).

It a typical old city down town accommodation with a large balcony. The room/ bathroom was modern and clean. The building and surroundings give a real feeling of old Napoli and offer an easy access to train station and port.Our hostess Francesca was easy to reach and was super helpful. This was a small, simply but tastefully decorated
Room. The bathroom was new and spotlessly clean. Shared kitchen facilities were available and this area was immaculate. We loved getting a tea or coffee without going out. The manager was excellent. Very helpful and caring. She made contact to give us directions and guided us into the bnb. She was very knowledgeable about tours and dining opportunities in Naples and sent through a range of suggestions. The bnb is close to main station and various Metro lines. The bnb is close to the old town. It has a lift, too!

Overall the room was in good shape, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The building the rooms are in is a little bit of the dirty side and is pretty smelly as soon as you walk in, which give a bad impression when you walk in. The fridges in room were broken so you have to us the communal one. To enhance the experience of each customer those could be fixed. Also the door to my wardrobe fell off after i move it for the first time. My husband put it back on. I noticed the second door was propped on the balcony. Overall, I’d say just more attention to the small detail and overall maintenance would be good for the hotel. The check in was very easy and the staff that checked us in was very helpful and nice.

This was a perfect little spot for me, my mom and sister to do an overnight in Naples between Sorrento and Florence. The rooms are in a residential building set back from the main busy street. The room was very clean, well appointed with comfortable beds, a nice bathroom and great AC. It allowed us to explore Naples safely and among locals in a unique way!

This property was in a great location and parking was just a block behind. The unit was very clean, safe and had an elevator which hepled with getting the luggage up. Close to everything and I was able to walk everywhere and leave my car parked. Vincent was very caring and avaialable. He checked me in, showed me the parking area and texted several times to make sure that all was ok. Great palce to stay in Naples!

This is a great place to stay, well located for any type of traveler. It is basic in accommodations and that is all I need when I travel.

The hosts are fabulous and work with you if you prefer more than sweets for breakfast! The hosts are very attentive and reach out to you prior to your arrival. Be sure to have WhatsApp!

Location is perfect, few mins from the train station. And 5mins walk to the tour bus stops. The room was spacious and clean. The common kitchen is perfect too, its a 24 hour open kitchen with water, juice, milk, coffee, cereal, breads, cakes.. so when you get home tired from the day trip you have something to munch in anytime. The owners Rosario and Vizencho are so nice and would answer all your inquiries around the city.

We were disappointed with B&B Università. We stayed for five nights. The breakfast part was pretty much a fail: more prepackaged continental than the more typical home-style expected from a B&B. The initial room offered was very nice, but right next to the noisy kitchen and front door, so our host readily offered a more distant quiet room and we were pleased with this immediate response. The room was nicely furnished. However, the air conditioner was like having an erratic gusty windstorm in the room and the \"as needed\" hot water heater had been set to the highest temperature, causing the shower water to go from boiling hot to freezing cold after about 1-2 minutes, then needing another 2 minutes to heat up again. It was miserable until my husband worked out the problem and lowered the temperature setting. Our host was generally not about and only reachable by text. I am sure he could have fixed the shower issue, but honestly it was simpler for my husband to figure it out. The a/c was important because otherwise the room quickly became hot, humid and stuffy. That said, B&B Università was well-located near to the historical district and sites, the metro and bus stops. The train station is about a 20 minute slow walk. Very convenient that way, and our host was friendly and did text us daily checking if all was okay. The wifi was good enough to stream video. Also, the lift stops a half floor above and below the B&B, so bags still must be carried down a flight of stairs.

Good spot for a resourceful visitor to Naples. Self-service kitchen and well-located near the beginning of the Spanish Quarter and a short walk to the waterfront. Friendly innkeeper with good local tips. Room was clean and spacious, with high ceilings and a balcony, and modern bathroom and air-conditioning unit. A short taxi ride or 20-min walk to train station, so accessible but insulated from the urban bustle around it.

Our host Rosario was very helpful. I normally don't post reviews unless they are warnings. But this place was exceptional in terms of traveler perks. Upon our greeting we we're told we have breakfast all day. The communal kitchen (4 rooms) was stocked with pastries,fresh fruit,nuts ,yogurt,coffee ,tea and bottled water and all Included for the price of the stay!! The rooms were small,clean and modern restrooms. Comfy bed . Our host even exchanged some $ for Euros for me,no commission either. He even showed us a supply cabinet with aspirin in case we had a hangover and yes it was free.We couldn't have been happier. We stayed at a variety of locations throughout Europe on our honeymoon and this place was by far the most welcoming. When we return to Naples we will forgo expensive hotels and stay here.

Two night stay with three adults. Easy to find on main drag with right directions, just do your maps before getting there. We walked from train station and was about a 15 minutes. You buzz the outside door and then you are let in, The B&B which has four rooms in total is inside a old building and the B&B has been renovated.You can either walk the stairs up which is about three flights, not hard but would be if you had large bags, or catch lift. The owners will meet you if it is in the day and explain checkin, we got good info for what’s around, a small map of the area and info on where to eat, etc, they booked us a fixed price taxi to get to airport as well. There is a kitchen area and you help yourself it’s continental and available to eat at all day. Unfortunately for myself and partner we just had coffee as we don’t eat sweet food at brekkie. You can supply your own and just cook there, as also a fridge in the kitchen so can leave your food in but we were out and about the whole time so not a problem for us to eat out A bit later. It was walking distance to all the sights and food areas and a few supermarkets along the way so a very handy spot. The roo. Was large and tidy and we had plenty of room to move around. It can be a bit noisy if people are coming and going and are not mindful of others so keep the voices down in the kitchen area and walking around. Bathroom needs more hooks for towels and safe did not work, but minor issues. Owners great and helpful.

Excellent location. The host Vincenzo was extremely helpful in providing recommendations on restaurant options and things to see. He was very quick to respond on Whatsapp if we had questions during the day as well.
Our room was right beside the breakfast common area so it can get noisy if people are there and chatting but the B&B only has 4 rooms so it was not a huge issue most of the time. Snacks in the breakfast area are available 24/7 so it is nice not having to wake up early to get to breakfast in time.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location in Naples

We arrived late in the evening in Naples, but it was no problem to check-in to the hotel; Vicenzo and Rosario were there, kept in touch and showed us around when we finally arrived (after midnight!)
The room was comfortable, with much needed air-conditioning as it was hot hot hot in Naples, and clean. The kitchen supplied with breakfast food and water was very convenient and the recommendations made by Vicenzo and Rosario were spot on!
The hotel has a perfect location for exploring the old city centre of Naples, for a stroll by the bay or for day trips to Pompeii or Herculaneum.
I wouldn't doubt booking here again for a next trip to Naples!

Definitely stay here. I highly recommend it.

FANTASTIC! When I told the owner I was Canadian and needed protein and not sugar at breakfast, he went to the store and bought me a dozen eggs! The B and B is centrally located, air conditioned, and within walking distance to everything. You have access to the kitchen, a fridge stacked with juice, water, milk, and fruit, and a counter topped with Italian pastries (all included in the price)!

Great centrally-located B&B: highly recommended.

I had a lovely stay at B&B Universitat. Rosario is a great host, with lots of great advice on areas to explore and things to see. Lovely continental breakfast on offer in a well equipped kitchen. The B&B is well located at the bottom of the historic centre, while still only a short walk from the main shopping district. Only a 20 minute walk from the Central Station to the east, or the ferry port to the south west, the two city stops of Alibus (the airport bus). Highly recommended.
