If you’re looking for near perfection in every way, this is your place. The room impeccable, the breakfast, absolutely delicious. The staff was amazing, the location dead center to everything. I highly recommend La Fontanina to everyone. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed worldwide.

Really didn't enjoy our time here. Hotel is in a rough neighborhood, dirty, loud, and lots of graffiti. The mattress and pillows were hard as rocks, leaving us waking up with sore backs and headaches. Entry way to the building is very dirty too and poorly marked. The hotel asked us when we would arrive and we let them know, but then they decided to leave the front desk unmanned and the doors locked so we had no way of getting in. Instead they sent a message on whatsapp giving us instructions to get in. Problem was, we had no idea they were going to communicate that way so we didn't see the message till we had been wandering around the property and banging on the door for 20 minutes. Very frustrating.

We stayed in the hotel just for one night. Lisa on the front desk was very helpful and nice. She booked us the last minute trip to Pompei with a very good company. Because we were leaving earlier Maria prepared breakfast specially for us. The only thing I would prefer is a softer bed and pillows. But it’s just my preference.

We only stayed for one night so it is hard to provide a full review. The pre-check in communication was excellent and we were warmly greeted and provided with great information about the hotel and surrounding area. We had to leave early and were not able to take advantage of the full breakfast, but the hotel provided 'breakfast in a bag' for us in lieu, which was much appreciated, as well as welcome apertivo drinks. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Despite being on a major road, it was very quiet in the room. My only qualm is that the air conditioning unit leaked water and since it was above the step to the bathroom, it was somewhat dangerous in the nighttime.

This five room gem is located right in the heart of it all. Walking distance to the great restaurants and bars near the University as well as the pizzerias in Quartiere Spagnolo. The rooms are bright, clean, air conditioned and well appointed. The staff, while not always on site, are friendly and extremely helpful. Shout out to Maria who made our coffee every morning and told us all about life in Campania.

This gem of a hotel really made the trip to Naples for us. With only 5 rooms, its very initimate but modern and beautifully kept. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly, with a special shout out to Antonella. She was incredible, like having our very own Italian auntie/friend/mom/sister to help with suggestions and welcoming us at breakfast each morning.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the metro, but they had a flat-rate taxi fare to the main central terminal too. There are many attractions you can walk to, but also easy to navigate the train and metro system for longer distances or day trips. We walked everywhere in the day, but kept to the lighted main road at night since we did not feel comfortable wandering the area after dark (which was the only downside, and not the fault of the hotel.)

The actual property was great! The street was busy and dirty with lots of graffiti. It was suggested to be back to the hotel by 9 or 10 in a Monday evening so we were nervous about crime. We took taxis instead of walking and got home fine. The area just wasn’t what I was expecting. It was surprisingly very quiet in the room.

Very easy to get to Hotel, good location close to metros, attractions and some good food. Reception are super lovely and helpful. My only complaint is that the room is next to the reception desk so you get alot of noise from breakfast groups and people who arrive at 11pm, or anyone locked out.

Great location... but very sketchy looking from the outside. It turns out that this made it very quaint. You enter an old giant wooden door and retreat to a wonderful modern hideaway. Included breakfast is minimal in scope, but quite adequate. Only complaint was poor communication for how to gain initial access before you have been issued your entry key. We lucked out into tailgating into the common area door with a nice resident woman returning home with groceries. She told us where to go inside the building. I am not sure how things would have gone if she was not there at that moment. Room was great.

The staff was lovely. The room was spacious and very clean. The complementary breakfast was an added bonus. We only stayed for one night, but it was very nice. The reason I gave 4 stars (not 5) was that the air conditioner had a serious drip that needed a bucket under it. We notified the staff and because it was Sunday, we assume they had someone attend to it Monday - after we checked out.

When you walk to and inside the building you might be put off, but the inside of the suites are really nice! Naples in general is a very urban like area, reminds me of NYC. Breakfast was included and was ok, decent amount of options. The receptionist was great, very helpful and gave us tips for seeing around the city. I personally wouldn’t go back to Naples but this place was a good walking distance to the boat docks and restaurants.

This was an amazing hotel that was so accommodating. We got into town late and they communicated so well how we could access our room. The room was spacious and well thought out - thank you extra mirrors! They also let us keep our luggage on site for a little bit while we went on a food tour of the area. Such a fun neighborhood with tons of restaurants nearby! We would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. the check-in instructions were very clear and helpful especially as we had a late check-in (around midnight). The apartment was extremely spacious with two balconies and everything very clean and tidy. The breakfast provided was a great addition and very nice. Pleasant hotel for a weekend stay
Things did not start out too well. We arrived at the hotel and there was no one to let us in. We were able to get in touch with one of the staff and they came within about 10 minutes. As we checked in, the staff member asked if we received a code to access the the hotel and we let them know we had not. After this, things definitely went up. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a large shower which was really nice. The room was well insulated so we were able to have a quiet evening when we got back from dinner. Overall, we enjoyed out stay.

This property is just like it looks in the photos. It's pretty spacious. Our room had two balconies overlooking different streets. The staff was helpful both online (before we arrived) and in person (after we arrive left). The girl working reception that checked us in was especially helpful. She booked our taxi to the airport and explained various options for getting around the city. We were running low on euro cash so she made sure the taxi would accept scredit card. We left early in the 🌅 so she left food for us and also clearly explained how to checkout and exit since reception would be closed. Friendly, cheerful service like that always makes the stay better.

The receptionist Veronica and the breakfast lady Pina were extremely welcoming and helpful, the suite itself was spotless and of a high standard with a balcony providing amazing views of the busy but upmarket street the property is on. The location is excellent, within the historical centre and very easy walking distance from all the attractions and the port if you’d like to visit Ischia or Amalfi which I’d highly recommend. I would have no hesitation in recommending La Fontanina Suites, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return here if coming back to beautiful Napoli.

Where to start - hotel being in a decent location was only good thing. AC was damaged and leaking throughout my WHOLE stay. Items got ruined and staff didn’t bother fixing it or putting me into a new room?? They even stopped replying to texts and phone calls when trying to follow up on this situation. On top of that, the front desk gave me the key to the room while people were still checked in…. I literally walked into a room with a couple in bed. So unprofessional. Would NOT book again.
