We chose this hotel as we needed to catch an early Flybus to Bengaluru Airport from the bus station across the road. It is also convenient for siteseeing and a short walk to the Palace. Reception efficient and upgraded our room when we complained of a smell in our bathroom. We found the jungle themed decor in the restaurants unpleasant. Breakfast choices quite good. No umbrellas and no shade for sun beds at the pool.

Well situated

Well positioned hotel within walking distance of the Palace and other attractions.
Only problem was the smell of drains in the bathroom.
The swimming pool was nice early in the morning but there was no shade so less suitable later in the day

the hotel has a good central location but the quality of the rooms expected for the price paid was not at par. At INR 4700/- ( incl tax) I was expecting the rooms to be of better quality. BUt then I have no one to blame as I satyed their 2 years back and was magically expecting them to renovate the room. the rooms are clean but bathrooms lagged a bit. Our shower place was clogged with had not a very neat flooring. Restaurants are good but service is slow.

it was an ok stay, i made reservation for a night and then extended for 2 more nights, when i extended i asked the front desk 3 times during (at night when i first made the extension, in the morning and before i left the hotel) if they need me to change rooms and they confirmed that i dont need to do that but when i came back to the hotel i was told that i need to move to a different room (and they were pushy) and so i did.

Could have provided value for money

A nice restaurant, courteous staff, excellent location is what we can certainly expect from the hotel. A noisy and irritating in performance AC, non functional wifi, cleaner bed linen and a more watchful and resilient housekeeping lets all the good work down badly. At the end of the day instead of feeling satisfied you come out quizzing yourself could there have been better options available for the same price tag!!!!. Am not a newbee to Mysore but have stayed in much cleaner and tidier places for similar price range there, hence felt let down in these aspects.

Good value hotel with good food

Well located near palace and bus stand.
The Goofra restaurant in a dark cave served by gherkas is a bit quirky but the food is good.
They have a decent breakfast buffet and the roof pool is clean but somewhat on the small side.

Convenient stay

Hotel is located at a convenient place to visit tourist places. I opted for luxury room and it was spacious and neat. The reception and room service staff were very cordial and took care in providing our needs. The breakfast food and service needs improvement.

Good hotel, bad service

The location of this hotel is good. The rooms are clean spacious and quite neat for the price. But the service is really bad. The hospitality staff is strictly okay. We had to wait for a really long time at both of their restaurants for getting served. Food quality is strictly okay, nothing to write home about.

Poor value for money - it is a bus stand hotel

The hotel is located near the busy suburban bus stand and hence you see all that is associated with bus stand environment - rickshaws, touts, crowded eateries... .... There are better located hotels in the town.The tariffs are not a good value for money. The 'Suite' in particular is a misnomer ! All the 'suites' are located in the middle wing of the hotel with virtually no windows for sunlight and have no outside view whatsoever ! In comparison, the luxury and comfort rooms at least have a window facing outside. So do not be misled by 'Suite\". The service is acceptable. The only redeeming feature of the hotel is its F&B - the restaurants are different in looks/themes, the food is good. But you can come to these restaurants even while staying elsewhere. Overall a disappointment for the amount of money spent.

Nice place to base trips around Mysore

We liked the place generally, and the staff was especially helpful. Downtown Mysore is just not a great tourist locale, but if you are traveling around the area, the Pai Vista is a very nice place to use as a base from which to travel. The Jungle restaurant presents a very fine breakfast buffet and for dinner it is also very fine. We would defintely return there given the opportunity.

Surprisingly Very Good

I didn't know what to expect from an hotel in India, as this was my first trip here. I was delightfully surprised at the quality of the hotel especially for the price. It was comparable to a room in the States for which one would pay a much higher rate. The quality of the property prompted me to look for another Pai Hotel in Bangalore. Unfortunately, not all the groups properties are up to the same standard as the Pai Vista in Mysore. I am quite finicky about cleanliness and proper property maintenance. Pai Vista Mysore gets my approval.

Hotel Pai Vista - comfortable and clean.

The hotel is located about a 2 minute walk from the main bus terminal and the entrance is set back from the street so that one leaves the rickshaw touts, etc behind. Clean and comfortable room had a view of the Chamundi hills, bathroom had lovely thick towels, hotel has two restaurants, very good staff. We walked a lot in the neighbourhood and also took rickshaws which were always available on the street. We used the tour desk to hire a car to take us to Bangalore airport and that went smoothly.

Hotel Pai Vista Mysore - Comfortable & Convenient

Our stay at Pai Vista, Mysore was more than comfortable. It was a beautiful experience. Positives being online booking of rooms, tasty variety in breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. Courteous staff and helpful doorman. However, the negatives were the small room and the small bed. The bed has to be wider if not longer. One could not turn around without the danger of falling down. And yes, an indian guest requires a bucket in the bathroom however modern one is.

The hotel has a lovely rooftop swimmingpool. Very, very clean and good.
The restaurants are strange. One is called the Jungle. Lots og plastic trees and plastic birds, and plastic snaked etc. The worst is that all waiters are dressed as soldiers with gun holsters and helmets. Weird. And, very, very dark- you could hardly see the food.
Another restaurant was called The Cave. Here it was even darker and weirder.
Food was excellent.

All good here

The hotel is one of the main hotels in town, and is located . Th staff are good and the service is generally good as well.
The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. The pool is great to retreat to after a day out and about.
The restaurant is good, nothing great when it comes to food but there is plenty of it.

Great hotel - recommended

A great hotel in a really useful location (opposite the bus stand) and easy to walk to main streets/locations in town.
There are 2 restaurants - both a bit wacky - the Jungle themed restaurant where you can have the breakfast buffet and then an extraordinary 'bat cave' which clearly appeals to lots of children, but is a bit like eating dinner in the middle of a Halloween party.

I had reservations about the hotel as it was seldom rated by travellers. But it was quote a surprise! This decent hotel provides a comfortable room and splendid services and the best thing was the low cost. The room service, laundry service and mini bar selection are both commendable and affordable. The restaurant, \"The Jungle\" serves decent food with a good ambience. But the staff need to improve the service standards. The hotel is in the vicinity of the Palace and Church but is in an inconspicuous position. Although it is along the main road, but the absence of signs will make it difficult to find. That was the magic. The hidden haven of Pai Vista made my stay inn Mysore a pleasant one

Overall staff attitude much to be desired, with the exception of 2 short, stout men at the reception. They were the only ones who had a smile on their faces. Room was basic and housekeeping substandard. Both theme restaurants need a good clean-up. Hygiene sorely lacking and furniture tops were sticky. They did not know difference between butter and magarine! Would be good to just turn these into regular restaurants which would make it easier for cleaning. Staff very curt and not at all accommodating.
The spa smelt and is a sure turn-off. Luckily it was just a 2nite stay, otherwise would have checked out the first day.

Pai Vista made our holiday a perfect one

We had a lovely stay at Pai Vista Hotel. Everything was clean, well kept and reasonably priced. The food was good, and we loved the jungle-themed restaurant. The hotel serves alcohol as well, and we really enjoyed having our steak with a bottle of wine! For those interested in jewelry and handicrafts, there are some shops on the ground floor, and if you run out of money, no worries! There is an ATM just outside the hotel. From the train station to the hotel we paid Rs. 16/-, from the hotel to the Mysore Palace, we paid Rs. 20/- and for a tour of the city, we paid Rs. 50/-. There is a nice Ayurvedic Spa on the top floor, and a small rooftop pool for cooling off. We would definitely recommend the hotel, and at our next visit to Mysore, we will stay there again.

Excellent value hotel in enchanting city.

This a decent, inexpensive hotel in the centre of Mysore. Room facilities were very good. Restaurants had tasty but somewhat spicy food though \"Goofa\" was a bit dark. They have free wifi but coverage is patchy. Staff were generally very helpful.

Centrally located with all the facilities and good restaurants, Hotel Pai Vista was perfect for our stay. Would highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Mysore. Their Jungle restaurant was awesome, Gufa restaurant was also very good.

Super hall d'accueil,chambre spatieuse et confortable mais la salle de bain est un peu décevante. Restaurant dans la jungle très sympa mais cher. Attention prévoir taxe et services en plus des prix affichés sur la carte du restaurant. On pourrait penser qu'ils ne sont pas habitués à recevoir des étrangers car ils mettent des glaçons dans les boissons et des crudités dans les petits déjeuners à emporter.

God seng, nyheter på døra, flotte restauranter på huset, svømmebasseng, wifi ( ikke veldig high speed men det duger ) hyggelig personale. Hvis vi skal utsette noe var det ekstra servicen utøvd fra reisebyrået i lobbyen, de var kanskje vel litt ivrig på å formidle sine turer uten å bistå oss i det vi faktisk lurte på.

Das Hotel liegt günstig am Busbahnhof. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich, besonders das kontinentale Frühstück. Der Pool ist leider nur durch das Restaurant zugänglich, aber sauber und verfügt über Umkleidekabinen.

バスルームはきれいではない。アメニティーグッズは大丈夫。
近くにバススタンド　隣にゴールドの店、マイソールパレスも近い。
朝ごはんは良かった。
ホテルのレストランは現地の人たちが常連でくるほど美味しかった。
他のホテルに泊まっていてもここまで食べにきてもいい。
ランチのﾋﾞｭｯﾌｪもあって（そんなに高くない）、家族連れにいいと思う。

Das Pai Vista liegt mitten in der Stadt Mysore, gegenüber dem Busbahnhof. Die Zimmer sind sehr gross und modern eingerichtet. Freundlicher Service und zwei gute Restaurants gehören zu den weiteren Pluspunkten dieses Hotels. Wir waren rundum zuufrieden.
