Stay elsewhere - this place isn't good value

The good: it's a good location for getting places. The room is quiet and on the rooftop so you can sit outside. The service from the porters is good and very friendly.

The (long list) of bad:
1) We booked an air conditioned room. We were told on check in we didn't. Then when we said we did, we were told there are no AC rooms available. This made for a hot & muggy room for the kids.
2) No safe in the room (despite it being listed in the room features). This meant carrying my laptop, cameras, passports etc everytime we left the room.
3) While the room was clean, everything was old, tattered or stained. This is a 2 star room at most.
4) Breakfast was listed as an option at the hotel next door (and menu was in the room). However in the days we stayed the restaurant did not do breakfast. No good breakfast options nearby either.

No tea or coffee in the room but strangely a kettle was in there. It didn't work, but they gave us another one.

Fundamentally the room was not what we booked and paid for, and when Hotels.com contacted the hotel they declined to take any responsibility.

I would recommend you stay elsewhere in Mysuru - there are plenty of better value options.

Reasonably OK for the price, Parking and approach to the Hotel(the road is very congested, and other vehicles are parked waywardly on the road making it difficult to reach the Hotel). Also, the security asked to park somewhere in the street, and after a quarrel, he provided the space in the nearby hotel which they own).

A good budget stay

The hotel was accessible from main road. Since bus stand was near, so one can have many options to eat outside. The room was clean and spacious enough for 2 people, but, no place to accommodate an extra bed. The bathroom was also very clean and spacious enough. Facility of hot water was also there from 6-9:30 a.m. Have not tried the food there, as they don't have restaurant, but you can order food from their menu, which they probably bring from outside. Will recommend this hotel if you are looking a nice play to stay for one or two nights.

Nice hotel close to main sights

My friends and I stayed two nights and it was a good place to come back to at the end of the day. Very close to palace and bazaar. The staff were helpful. Clean rooms and bathrooms and nice rooftop area that would be better with a bit more shade.

Lack Of Restaurant

Actually hotel was good but it lacked restaurant and it wasn't mentioned also on the website. Its a big drawback that causes guests unnecessary hassles if food is to be got packed from somewhere else which gets cold. If it could be mentioned on the website, one could decide to book it or not.

Average Experience

It was an average experience. Room was too compact for 3 adults. There was hardly any scope for movement.
There is a scope to become more customer friendly. In our case We had to spend 1 hour after check-out in Reception though many rooms were vacant at the time. They could have easily accommodate us in one of the rooms as it was a matter of 1 hour only. But they choose not do so.
Overall an average experience.

OK for a short stay.

First night we stayed in a room facing staircase on 2nd floor and it was as if Lobby was in our room. Extremely noisy. Got a quieter room next day. Hot water shower only available in the morning. Room service meals ordered from take-out place not entirely satisfactory if you don't want to eat spicy food late at night. Hotel staff was quite friendly and helpful.

Rooms are neat and clean. Staff is courteous.
Looks like if the room is booked via travel portal, check-out is strict (before 12 pm) while booking through their website allows 24 hrs check-out. I didn't like this part. Rooms are congested. I was assuming queen room (2 bed) would be spacious, but was not the case.

Good hotel close to Mysore Bus Stand

Good and nice hotel for budget travellers which is on the Bangalore Mysore highway just after the Philomenas church.
It was clean and well maintained and the staff were courteous.

customer orientation required a little more..

clean 2 star hotel, budget friendly

Just spent 1 day/night at this place. It is clean inside the rooms/bathrooms. Location is close to town ....as there isn't much of stuff to do in Mysore anyway. Cons: Located in a dingy street, with very very noisy neighbors. We stayed at Lobby level, Heard loud noise all night from the hotel desk and lobby. Rooms are tiny for the location and city.....this is no Paris/NY, wonder why the superior room was 150 or less sqft....prices are high for this neighborhood and location and the service and for the one star amenities

Tthe staff and the management were very helpful and polite.The manager Mr,Sagar really helped us for our comfort and sight seeing.At such a price and being in the heart of the city it is an affordable hotel and I hope they start inhouse food service,a very good experience.

Aishwarya Residency Hotel

I arrived with bag and baggage for a wonderful stay but was very disappointed. I had booked on line thru Hotels.com seeing the beautiful front view of the hotel and the room with a double bed and a single bed and balcony as I had my husband and 17y old child with me. What I got upon arriving thru an alley poor road condition -full of potholes was a room with double bed and no balcony they were willing to place a mattress on the floor. When I explained to them they were false advertising they agreed to put me in another hotel - a cheap sister hotel but with the extra bed no balcony. I accepted that as it was my last day in Mysore.

Theres no hotel attached to it. Moreover when we booked through Hotels.com it doesnt book the hotel room withspecified number. this is cause of gr8 inconvience as the hotel staff may shift you to any room. Moreover the approach road is under construction. Well food ordered through was not of good quality. Although room were well maintained.

Good hotel to stay if food is not a concern

It is a good hotel in terms of overall cleanliness. But no restaurant attached with the hotel & the place is inside a narrow lane and not on main road. Thus, if you are having a vehicle, it might be little inconvenient. Overall, if you just wish to stay, it is a good hotel for everyone including families.

buen hotel dentro de su categoria

El hotel se encuentra en una estrecha calle proximo a la estacion autobuses. Se puede ir andando a todos los lugares de interes, aunque la entrada al Mysore Palace quiza este un poco lejos y conviene un auto-rickshaw.Baño,cadenas tv internacionales,etc.
Como punto negativo decir que tanto las toallas como sabanas estan bastante gastadas y necesitarian una renovación.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel, tolle Dachterrasse. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal mit guten Verbindungen zu Touristenführern, die unaufdringlich und kompetent sind . Ausgesprochen ehrliche Preise. Wir kamen gegen 5 Uhr früh mit dem Überlandbus dort an und erhielten sofort eine nette Aufnahme und Unterstützung im Streit mit den schlitzohrigen Rikscha-Fahrern.
