Overall its a nice clean quiet hotel on the outskirts of the old town (a good 10 minute walk), alot of building work going on around it. Checkin was quick and efficient. Good variety of breakfast buffet food. Bar service late mornings, early afternoon was very poor, unmanned bar, had to notify reception and waitvahes for someone to come. Restaurant was closed one night for a private function which was very noisy and left limited seating for guests as bar area is quite small and alot if the private party accumulated around entrance smoking. No safe in the adjoing rooms.

Lovely hotel in a good location with a nice pool. We didn't use the bar or restaurant so can't comment on those.
The mini bar fridges aren't very cold at all if at all so beware if you need it to jeep something cold.
Also we alsked for extra pillows as only one pillow
plus a hard cushion provided which isn't comfortable to sleep on of you like 2 pillows.
The air conditioning in the room didn't seem to work, we set to the lowest 16 and the room was still too hot. We couldn't open the window at night as
lots of road noise. That said it was a great stay.

A lovely hotel as per photos. Staff welcoming and service excellent. Rooms spacious and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast has a great array of foods on offer and staff kept it well replenished even at busier times. We explored Gdansk on foot from the hotel and also used train to visit Gdynia and Sopot. Great to unwind in pool and sauna and sometimes had this to ourselves. Overall would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Location is great and we love the pool that is at the hotel. Shame that the shower next to the sauna that last time was during renovation is not fully working. But overal we like the place. Also the restaurant at the hotel have a very good selection of the food and drinks

Good overall but room for a few small improvements such as: one regular pillow and a small square pillow (both too flat) was not suitable - although the hotel did provide an extra regular pillow upon request which was good. Providing a safe in the room is a must and fairly common practice, so it's surprising the hotel does not do this. At breakfast, the bread for toasting in the toaster was stale every day (or it was just stale tasting bread) either way not very nice. More prepared fresh fruit should be provided, rather than just melon pieces. A \"have a nice trip\" or \"we hope you enjoyed your stay\" is normal and would be nice upon check out, rather than simply \"that's everything, goodbye\".

Smart and quality fit-out of rooms. The hotel is compact and very modern. Swimming pool is small but extremely clean and a great atmosphere of its own. Breakfast has very generous options. Can't comment on evening dining options and the room service menu didn't appeal. Location is perfect for catching tram. Staff were cheerful and professional. Some could argue it doesn't have full 4-star standard but some Hilton in UK aren't a quality match for this. This doesn't have too corporate a feel if you're on holiday either, and would also be family-friendly if bringing kids. Excellent example of how far Poland has come in a decade or so, will definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel, bargain! want to go back...

I booked a studio for parents and adult daughter, I saw that reviews were mostly positive with some criticism of the breakfast and swimming pool. The price was so good that I wasn't sure what to expect, but the hotel was great! The studio turned out to be two connecting good-sized double rooms, well appointed, comfortable and warm. Breakfast had plenty of choice of hot and cold food, some items quite different to what I'm used to but easy to find things I liked. The swimming pool was pretty big for a hotel, and we always had it to ourselves. (Several others on hotels.com that appear to have a pool are actually offering use of one somewhere else, check reviews before booking: pool at the Sadova is within the hotel).

Heating in the room is by an air circulation system, which I normally don't like, but this one worked well and was very quiet. There's also a normal radiator in the room and very effective double glazed windows so room should always be warm enough.

The mattresses were quite firm which doesn't bother me but might some people.

Couple of minutes from tram stop and about 8 minutes walk from the marina area, we went for the Christmas market and it was ideal

A clean, modern hotel with a lovely pool and gym area. The room was very quiet and housekeeping were respectful and quiet and didn’t disturb us, but still looked after our room. We appreciated the robes and slippers and easy lift access to the pool area without having to walk through the reception area. Great bikes to hire from the hotel. Easily walkable into the old town. We used the airport taxi and the hotel arranged one for our return. Be aware the roads into Gdańsk early morning rush hour are very busy. We would return to this hotel.

Modern hotel close to old town

Hotel is modern and new, in a very good location, just 5 minute walk from old town, and many restaurants. Rooms are spacious and fresh. Friendly staff. Our room was quite warm even though we adjusted the air conditioning. Each room has a kettle, which is always nice. I should have requested more pillows as the bed was comfortable to sleep in but not so much to sit an watch TV. The pool is really nice, clean and big enough to have a swim. I would stay again.

stayed with young family, nice hotel, nice room, would stay again, 2 things that the hotel should review: 1) in the kids play room, no electrical socket protection, so young kids can stick fingers, mouth etc on live sockets.
2) the swimming pool tiles are lethal, i slipped, my kids slipped, while walking, my child actually had a bad fall, all the tiles around the pool are not non slip as far as i can see. also the little slippers they give you to walk to the pool, there should be signs stating dont wear them in pool area, as they only add to the slipping problem. so just some safteyu issues to work on

Walls er pretty tynn and you can hear almoust everything from the room next to you. If you have a noise neighboor who stay opp later in the evenning it will be difficult to sleep. Sauna is small... Max 3 pers and the swimmingpool is only 1.2m high.
Breakfast is great and enough for en good start of day.

Went as a family Enjoyed our stay overall. Check in in the evening was rather poor as the two gentleman on reception were not very helpful and did not give us any information at all except that our rooms were on the third floor. However the ladies on receptin during the day time were very helpful. Breakfast good with plenty of choice. We did not realise how small the rooms were going to be but overall they were adequate. Unfortunately the cleaning staff kept fogetting to replenish the tea and coffee in the rooms sowe had to keep asking reception for it. Pool area was nice. Would stay here again if we visit Gdansk

The hotel is good, and have a nice location. The SPA services is not that good. Orders masasje for two people, but we are sure that one of the masasje teraputes did not have much experience, and we where not informed. Verry superficial masasje and to little strength. The masje therapists also talked a lot between them during the treatment, which was anoying. At one time they \"duted each other\" for fun, and i could feel that the terapist was not focused on giving a masasje. The hotel is good, and have a nice location. The SPA services is not that good. Brilliant hotel!

This is an fabulous hotel. I stayed here with my partner and kids aged 5 and 8. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the room was excellent, spacious, clean and comfy. Breakfast was great and we ate some snacks in the hotel bar a few times as well.Its easy walking distance to the centre and tram line which is easy to use and Id recommend for getting to the central station ( a visit to Sopot is a must!) I only wish I had longer to make the most of the swish looking cider bar they have!!

Great location just a couple of blocks from main tourist insanity — so convenient not overwhelmed. It’s a newish, large hotel that attracts tour groups, but it still manages to seem relaxed and not overrun. I spent four nights in early August — probably one of the busiest times of the year — and never felt crowded or stressed at breakfast or any other interaction. I would definitely stay here again.

Should we put a finger on anything it may be the noice from the street outside early in the morning.

A short walk from the Crane, river, and Old Town Hotel Sadova is beautifully furnished and in a convenient location. The staff are very helpful, breakfast has a range of options and the bar make a mean margarita. I had a great stay. The only feedback I would give is that I think it’s unnecessary for housekeeping to be knocking on the door at 9am at the weekend (particular when there was no do not disturb sign available). Some of the bedding had a dye stained on it but otherwise clean and comfortable. Personally I would have liked the sauna to be open at the same time as the pool in the morning (pool is from 7am but sauna from 10am) and both open until 11pm - it’s a nice way to relax after a long day’s sightseeing.

A Great Hotel!

The Sadova is located about 5-10 mins from the Old Town. It's very modern, clean with very friendly and helpful staff.
The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice which differed slightly from day to day with a mix of fruits, hot food, cakes, pastries, cold fish/meats and cheeses. Even when the restaurant was really busy the staff were very quick at cleaning tables and re-stocking the food.
We opted for a larger room with a huge queen sized bed. The room was very comfortable and clean with an excellent power shower. My only gripe would be that I feel some things were scrimped on such as very small (and not very fluffy!) towels, and cheap toiletries and toilet paper (compared to what was in the restaurant and spa area of the hotel). But this is me being fussy.
We used the spa which was good, and I had an amazing massage which I'd highly recommend. Compliments to the therapist!
Overall all I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Gdasnk,

We stayed as a couple for 3 nights in a pre-booked deluxe double room which was so spacious and comfortable - lovely bathroom with fantastic shower - floor to ceiling windows making the room light and airy- my only complaint was that the hotel omitted to leave additional pillows in the room and as we arrived very late I felt that i could not bring this to their attention until the following day so the first night was not so comfortable - this was rectified the next day. The staff were very professional, helpful and polite. The breakfast, dinner and bar facilities were amazing - a little expensive but then this is a hotel. My partner and I did not rtry out the spa facilities because of the reason for our visit and a lack of time but they looked really good. Finally the location of the hotel was perfect for us with just a short stroll to the old part of the very beautiful city of Gdansk - we would definitely love to stay here again
