Very nice hotel. Downside is that you have to pay to use every facility. I recommend going wild swimming in the resivoir - a lot less people.

It was my mom's 75th birthday and so I decided to take her to a nice spa. And since we didn't live in the area, it was convenient to stay in the hotel and then just walk down to the spa wrapped in the bathrobe.
The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful. Clean and very well up kept. The lobby is nice and airy. But as soon as we got to the desk, they didn't have our reservation. Not sure what happened, because it was still active on my phone. Whether the hotel messed up or not, it took some tweaking and they made it right by upgrading us to a nice suite with a huge patio. Unfortunately it was raining all 3 days we were there, so we didn't get to use it, but they're was a nice bistro table with 2 chairs to sit at and 2 comfy looking lounge chairs. Bummer.
The spa. The spa is breathtaking. They did really really good job. Everything was nice and clean and everyone seemed to be having great time being lost in their own world. Nothing i would change, accept for maybe adding an extra step to get in the whirlpool, as it could be challenging for someone older with a hip replacement surgery to get in. My mom wasn't able to get in, as the step was pretty high. She still enjoyed the pool though.
Back to the hotel. If you have any dietary restrictions, please ask in advance. They CAN tend to you dietary needs. I was being told \"no\", but then talked to the director of the hotel that happened to be there and he confirmed they can. It was too late for us though, as we were checking out.

In the property`s main page on the Expedia, and during the reservation process, it does not state that the pool requires additional fee nor it stays that the pool is part of wellness, which is misleading because they requires from you to pay for wellness to use pool. Otherwise 5 from 5.

The SPA is excellent, the HOTEL had a couple issues, our AC was not working, we were offered 'fans' instead of a fix or a new room. Also, our room was on second floor, next to their admin offices where ppl work.

Maximus Resort - check-in was fine but the rooms around ours were having tiles and floors replaced so the noise was continuous all afternoon and impossible to stay in room…the resort is huge with spas and baths as far as the eye can see … it has the air of a workers paradise with lots of organized fun activities…bars full of backslappers glad to see each other and the grounds are full of robed people moving in and out of spas and saunas and plunge pools…we were traveling through and had no time to stay for the spa experience but it looked great…the restaurant is very good and the breakfast buffet was extensive and substantial. Maximus is located outside Brno along a narrow road through forest so it’s not a place to stay if you want to explore Brno but if you’re looking for a long weekend of spa and exercise with friends - this is the place.

Only reason for us to stay at Maximus Resort for 2 nights was Infiniti Wellness & Spa. Staff at Maximus Resort was helpful, property was clean. We had a very nice buffet breakfast as you should expect from a 4-star hotel. However, our Economy Double Room was disappointing. It looked like it was from early 2000s, with no air-conditioning. The bathroom was not 'exciting'. Our double bed was actually two single mattresses next to each other. We couldn't really sleep next to each other in our honeymoon. The only difference between Economy and Deluxe rooms are size so I expect that other rooms are in the same condition. I don't really mind anything to be honest since our main reason for stay was the spa and wellness but it's a lot of money for a night of stay and you dont really get much in return.

The area of the hotel is amazing and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel itself is modern with very light colors used. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Very nice attitude.

The rooms are very basic with not a very spacious bathroom area, however modern and well maintained. The balconies are amazing and are a great spot to relax and have a drink. For the amount of money you pay you would expect the rooms to be bigger.

We decided not to go to the SPA since the price is a bit biting - 1000 CZK per person for the day (valid after check in until 2pm next day) - even it is already a nice price for the guests staying in the hotel, this is still a bit much for the price you pay for the stay.

Breakfast was tasty, however not organized. Seems everyone came at the same time and there was not enough space for all the guests in the breakfast room. We think guests would appreciate staff advising less busy time frames to have a relaxed breakfast or better signage system - when there is another sitting area available guests would like to know about it not discovering it when leaving after a rushed breakfast.

Check out is another story. At the check in we were advised that we pay at the check out as everything you spend will be posted on the room bill. Would appreciate an express check out for those who do not spend additional money, not to queue for 30 minutes just to pay by card which could have been already pre-authorized.

Overall nice, but not value for the money you pay.

staff are very friendly & helpful, the pretty girl at the front desk tried her best to help us to fix the non-working air-conditioner even very late at night so that we can have a good sleep
spa facilities are good, but u need to make a reservation for the message before u check-in since it is very full (with day trip guests to use the spa facilities, i can only booked a 25 mins aroma massage at 6 and my husband can only booked his 55 mins session at 9 after we checked in)
would be nicer if breakfast with more varieties

Beautiful, friendly, excellent value for money.

Hotel was beautiful, very clean and looked after. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly.
The spa facilities were amazing and I couldn't believe how cheap it was.
Although it's a tram ride from the city centre the hotel provides a shuttle bus to tram stop and the area the hotel is in is very picturesque and peaceful - next to the dam and forests.
Would recommend to friends and wouldn't hesitate to return.

The room was great, furnished in a modern yet comfortable way. Breakfast was delicious with wide selection and offer being refilled until the end - perfect for us cause we like to sleep longer. But the cherry on top was the wellness and spa in the hotel. Indoor-outdoor interconnected pool, outdoor salty whirlpool, many indoor and outdoor saunas with various temperatures and themes, massages and private whirlpools. Our favourite is the Bali bath - a bath carved from one piece of stone from Bali where you can enjoy a private bath with aromaoils.

No informing of cuthe in water supply

We wanted to stay for 2 days and It Could Have Been A good stay if we were informed the water would be turned off for the whole year. As we were staying with a 6 months old baby we shorthened the stay with one night but actually would have not paid at all if we knew. Now we feel we spend money and off days from work for nothing

Rooms were super clean and new, AC was excellent. The hotel is off the path a bit but nice area around. Balconies are nice, the only negative point is that spa fees are not included in the reservation and they charge by time (around 20 dollars for 90 mins)

This hotel has all the amenities you could want (with the exception of a bar). The spa, restaurant and staff were great. Breakfast was exceptional, especially considering the price of the rooms. The room was nice, but nothing particularly special. The hotel was not the easiest to get to, but there is a shuttle bus to one of the tram stops. You can get to the centre of Brno in about 40 minutes that way, or about 15 by taxi.

Pristavista - Enjoying the Lake

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is easy to access via the tram from the main bus terminal to the Pristavista station and then using the hotel's shuttle. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, professional and helpful. I also enjoyed a massage at the spa with a swim at the pool. This was a 5 star facility. The hotel is well maintained and kept extremely clean. My only suggestion is that when the hotel posts the shuttle schedule, the guests expect the shuttle to arrive. On our first day of arrival (after flying and spending 24 hours in transit) we arrived and the shuttle did not show up as listed on the schedule. Unfortunately my cellular phone was dead so we waited an hour and a half until guest left the hotel to get to the tram. If you arrive be sure to have a full battery on your phone. The hotel picks up as soon as they know you have arrived. Other than this one small issue, I had a fantastic stay

Nice hotel once construction work is finished!

Great location for brno in the countryside excellent spa at fantastic prices food also excellent. Major complaint is that it was under construction which we didnt realise so not as relaxing as we had hoped! The staffs English was as poor as our czech and they could get grumpy at times when we were trying to understand each other which wasnt very good. I am sure it will be a great hotel when works are completed in 2014 but as a guest now we were disappointed some orice reductions were not offered to compensate. We did get a complimentary meal eventually however.

Stayed here for moto gp would use again as it was out of the city and reasonably close to the track only a short taxi ride away.
Get hotel staff to book taxis as we got better rates than if we got ourselves, they all charge different rates for same trips.

Very enjoyable

I read the review before I visited myself the hotel - and read about the noise that should be heard in the room. Yes there is buzz and when removing the key card it stops. But is was in the corridor hardly disturbing - someone made a fuss. I was lucky to have whole night the window wide open, and it was so quiet outside! I agree that the shower curtain better is replaced by a door and I could complain about the way the bath room door was opening... but is a hotel not your own home. The Pool & Wellness were great, spend a relaxing couple of hours before the have a nice meal n the restaurant. Staff not friendly ? not helpful ? Have not experienced that : they were around but not pressing. The food was good very tasty I had guests coming for a meeting and had advised the reception who kindly help me and them till I arrived - and I was offered to use the restaurant or an other meeting area without any charge. I will surely come again [and hope it will not rain that time so I walk a bit more in the surrounding and enjoy the lake!]

Modern hotel but lacks the warmth

Well our stay was for a couple of days. The hotel is quite modern and well built. However, the hotel lacked the warmth. First, the check out time is 10 am. Second, we requested for some tea bags but they charged us. It was expensive for just a couple of tea bags. I am willing to pay the money but then the tea should have been served with sugar, creamer and hot water. The service in the restaurant was not good. We were not allowed in certain areas to sit. However, they could not explain why.

Sehr freundliches Personal in jedem Bereich. Wir schätzen es sehr, dass im Wellnessbereich nur Erwachsene Zutritt haben. Sehr ruhige Lage. Toller Wellnessbereich mit großer Saunalandschaft. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Essen im Hotelrestaurant war qualitativ eher gehoben, da zahlt man gerne mehr, da es fantastisch geschmeckt hat.
Wir waren schon das zweite Mal dort und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren nur zwei Tage in dem Resort, aber wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Als wir Probleme mit der Dusche hatten, wurde uns ohne weiteres ein anderes Zimmer gegeben. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen und die Bade- und Saunawelt ist sehr schön und außergewöhnlich gestaltet. Wir können das Resort auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Hotel quite compact next to a large SPA.
The hotel has swimming pool but the SPA yes and you need to pay the SPA fee to access it.
The restaurant offer nice quality meal and excellent breakfast
The location is further than I thought of the access to the lake
The spa is busy with people coming from outside the hotel .

Alles in allem hätte ich wohl überall volle Sternenanzahl gegeben aber morgens ab halb 8 ist es im Gang extrem störend gewesen, dass die Türen im Minutentakt vor dem Zimmer aufgemacht und sehr laut zu gefallen sind.
Die Zimmertür ist ohne Gummi versehen sodass diese nicht lärmdicht ist. Also mit Ausschlafen geht da leider nichts. Ein Stuhl auf der Terasse war kaputt, dieser wurde zeitnah ersetzt. Ansonsten war alles Top und wir würden wieder anreisen. Allerdings mit Oropax.

Maybe in the bathroom is too dark and a spotlight over the mirror would be appreciated.
You can hear crowd noises if esuberant guests stay on a party in the restaurant till late evening but generally I slept well over night.

Celkově super. Ubytování krásné, hlavně terasa, upravená, pohled na přírodu, přímo na terase keře borovic, levandule, no prostě nádhera. Zaměstnanci, ať už na recepci, obsluha v restauraci, uklízečky, prostě všichni, usměvaví, vstřícní, příjemní. Snídaně luxusní, myslím že každý si vybere to své. Bazén prostě nádhera, zaměstnanci tam, opět příjemní. Okolí krásné, čisté. Celkově pro nás příjemná, pohodová dovolená. Určitě se tam ještě vrátíme.

Einzig die Zusatzkosten für die Poolbenutzung am späten Nachmittag (nach einer langen Reise etwas teuer für eine Stunde.

Servicepersonal speziell im Restaurant sehr aufmerksam. Im Hauptgebäude leider kein Lift vorhanden und beim Check-In etwas umständlich. Preis- Leistung stimmt aber.

Skvělý relaxační pobyt. Hotel odpovídá 4*, je zachovalý, udržovaný, taktéž jeho okolí a wellness. Recepce rychlá, ochotná, usměvavá, vše vyřízeno bleskurychle. Úklid pokoje každý den, bez připomínek. Pokoj standardní, přiměřeně velké, udržované, opět bez připomínek. Potěší prezentace v televizi s představením hotelu a okolí. Z jídel jsem využili pouze snídani (v ceně), přiměřený výběr, oceňuji domácí zákusky, jinak běžná středoevropská snídaně jenž se z 95% nemění. Co vyzdvihnout je wellness, nebude jej popisovat, postačí se podívat na stránky hotelu a skutečnost je mnohem lepší. S ohledem na ostatní recenze jsme služby využili po 20hod, kdy jsme si užili romantiku pod měsícem s hvězdičkami a barovými službami, s námi pět dalších hotelových hostů, kteří se ztratili v tomto rozsáhlém areálu. Wellness je otevřené do 22:30hod, tedy časové rozmezí více než dostatečné. Další skvělou věcí je hotelový shuttle bus, jenž vás dopraví na nejbližší zastávku tramvaje, jenž jede přímo do centra Brna. Jak bus tak i tramvaj jezdí velmi často a to pozdních nočních hodin. Celkově musím hotel Maximus zcela doporučit, tedy není pro děti(minimální zázemí), ale to je dobře, protože hotel pro určený pro relaxaci a odpočinek, a tam děti nepatří :)

Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht

Das Hotel an sich ist in Ordnung, die Betten gut, das Zimmer klein aber sauber und das Personal bemüht. Was leider aus der hotels.com Beschreibung nicht hervorgeht ist, dass der Wellness Bereich inkl. Pool nicht für alle Hotelgäste inkludiert ist. Dafür hätten wir pro Person und Tag nochmals ca. 40€ extra zahlen müssen. Dazu kommt, dass die Mini-Therme extrem viele Tagesgäste hat und sich daher alles recht beengt abspielt. Alles in allem kann ich daher einen Aufenthalt eher nicht empfehlen, da gibt es genug nette Wellness Hotels mit weitaus besserem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Calm and relaxing place to stay

This Hotel offers a confortable feeling while we stay: calm and nice surundings with Feng-Su decorations verywhere. it's very Relaxing. The varities of Sauna landscapes are available if you are a Sauna Lover. btw the Wellness and Sauna Need to be payed extra. but the Hotel privides the bathrobe. The Impression of our stay was the friendly personals who are very supportive. It's also very convinient to take the Hotel free Shuttle bus from hotel to the bus/tram Station, from where it takes less than 20min to the Brno City center

Großartiges Hotel! Ich war positiv überrascht über das hohe Niveau der Ausstattung, der Sauberkeit, der Freundlichkeit und der Qualität des Essens. Der SPA Bereich ist wunderschön, es gibt alles was man sich wünscht, in einem sehr geschmackvollem Ambiente. Ich genoss eine Aromatherapiemassage, die sehr angenehm und entspannend war. Sehr gut finde ich, dass das SPA nicht im Hotelpreis inkludiert ist. So bezahlt man nur für jene Leistungen, die man auch wirklich in Anspruch nimmt. Vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis bin ich begeistert. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt in einem sehr schönen modernem Hotel.

sehr schöne Hotelanlage in ruhiger Lage

Alles perfekt - einziger (kleiner) Nachteil war, dass alle Angebote im Hotel (wellness, sauna, bowling) extra berechnet werden. Ist aber anscheinend allgemein so üblich. Preis-Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall.

Comfortable resort with very friendly staff

Nice resort, spacious rooms and clean. The staff was very friendly.
There was maintaince of the hotel going on that started apx. 0700-0730 with heavy drilling. The hot water in the room changed to cold the whole time,

Během noci nám do pokoje vlezl někdo z personálu a ihned utelk - od té doby jsme již neusnuli a celý pobyt stál za...Na recepci nám řekli, že to není možné a odbyli nás s tímto vysvětlením. Sem již znovu nikdy nevrátíme

Not as good as we could expect from the pictures..

This is a spa hotel located near a dam lake outside Brno. We were there for a night stay. The location is nice if you don't want to stay close to downtown. The hotel is beautiful, but the rooms are not as good as they could be. They lack air conditioning, for example. The room where we stayed has a door to an outside terrace, which is shared among many other rooms. No privacy, though... Unless you close all the blinds, since there is no window, only the glass door. Bathroom is ok, with a good shower box. Parking is free and easy. The breakfast was included and very complete and nice. The spa activities were not included, and the swimming pool fees were very expansive! We expected more when we booked it.

Nie dla rodzinnych wypadów

Nie dobry na rodzinny wyjazd. Z basenu mogą korzystać praktycznie tylko dorośli, ograniczenie dopuszczalnego wzrostu od 145cm. Poza basenem i wellnes hotel nie ma zbyt wiele do zaoferowania. Wtedy cena miażdżąco przekracza jakość.
