The hotel is pretty good but could be great with a few changes. Check-in was not easy. At first, they offered us a room on the 19th floor but said it was “very noisy since it’s under the 20th floor bar” and we could wait for another room. That was a no brainer. Then we tried to check in at 3. An unfriendly front desk agent said “System’s down”… her only two words. We finally tried checking in a third time. We got checked intoa small room. Very tight quarters. Thankfully the amenities are nice. And the rest of the stay was solid.

It’s a bit of a mixed picture: great hotel, rooms are fine, modern bathrooms, nice enclosed rooftop bar, and most importantly, friendly group of staff members. Unfortunately, at check-in no one bothered to explain the amenities. Guests pay a daily fee for amenities like coffee, water, snacks, none of which I touched during my stay. $50 for nothing. This was our first trip to the financial district. We met friends of ours for an incredible night in the city. We originally had blocked midtown but decided we were hoping to be able to do ferry and 9/11 memorial so I switched hotels. Unfortunately we had terrible weather and weren’t able to do the outside activities, however, we are gonna come back in May and the for us are gonna stay here again. I will never stay anywhere but here for any future trips to New York City. If I could get more than five stars, I would every staff member from the Concierge to maintenance was incredible with their acknowledgment and knowledge of where to go and what to do.

This was my 5th time in New York. Having stayed in various areas I'd say this area and hotel overall were my favourite. For such a busy time of year it was lovely to escape midtown and stay in a quieter less touristy area (even though I was the tourist). The hotel was lovely, great style, clean, nice staff and very quiet (rare for New York). We couldn't hear any other guests or noise from the outside (because we were in the quieter area). There are lovely coffee shops in that area which was a big plus with great transport links to across the city. Very close to get to dumbo and Brooklyn heights which was a bonus also. The area is nice and the Wall Street tree was very close by. Very nice tree without the crowds. I'd stay here again especially if visiting in the Christmas period.

Lovely property in the heart of the financial district with many option to the subway to get you to most areas of manhattan and further afield. Hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms had everything that you need. The bed was one of the comfiest that we’d slept in. The staff were very helpful and you we were always greeted with a warm welcome when we returned to the hotel.
Concierge were also very helpful, big thanks to Stephen who also arranged our hotel transfer and saved us some money by not taking an Uber.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again the next time we visit NYC.
