Thehotel is located around 20-30 mins walk from Brno centre, but easy walking and felt quite safe.
The check in was quick, my room was ready on arrival, which was early.
The room was quiet, comfortable.
Breakfast was fine, I used the bar / lounge in the evening for dinner as I was alone, it was fine, staff friendly, helpful, spoke English.
I didn't use the spa.

This hotel is excellent value for money. Everything you need is there. The breakfast buffet caters for every want and need and the breakfast dining room is pleasant for a long breakfast. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and housekeeping welcome feedback and requests and are responsive. The room windows are effective in cutting outside noise . Air conditioning is in each room and is adequate but not the best. We have stayed in summer and recently in autumn. The beds are huge and very comfortable and tea and coffee facilities are provided in each room. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially in the Bruno bar and restaurant. The food there is excellent and service is superb. A special mention for Hana, in the Bruno cafe who is exceptionally friendly and helpful as a server. The hotel is an easy 20 minute walk into town or you can walk 5 minutes to the trams or just across the road to the bus stops. Alternatively, it is about a £3 taxi ride into town via the Bolt taxi app. Kaufland supermarket is an easy walk away as is the Lužansky park if you wan a pleasant morning walk after breakfast. The hotel also has an excellent massage therapist, gym facilites, pool etc. This was our 2nd visit and we will certainly be back.

Tiefgarage gegen Aufpreis möglich.
Leider ist der Poolbereich sehr klein dadurch nur nach
Abstimmung mit der Rezeption kostenfrei buchbar.
Auch der Frühstücksraum ist verhältnismäßig klein, dadurch sind die Tische sehr eng aufgestellt.
Service und Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend.

This was wonderful property. We had a double suite on 9th floor with great balcony and great view of the city.
Best breakfast I had recently in a hotel.
If I come back to Brno again, I will get the same Cosmopolitan hotel.

Great stay. Nice friendly staff. Decent breakfast. The only thing that felt a little mean was they charged for two small bottles of water in the room which we needed for coffee in the morning. Usually a hotel supplies a small amount of water as complimentary. I was also concerned about the welfare of the lizard in the reception/dining area. Seemed to live in a very confined space. I hope they let him out to a bigger area.

This is a great value for money. Hotel is a bit old but very well refurbished with nice rooms and bathrooms. The view is amazing if you're staying in the upper levels. Easy parking for free, public transport stops at the hotel (you can hear the traffic, though). There is a piano in the lobby/bar where a pianist plays every evening.

Very friendly and professional staff.
Everything was excellent, but I was surprised by the lack of options to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the room after our late (midnight) arrival from the airport. There isn't even a single hot drink machine on the floor or reception! Room service only until midnight.

We loved the wellness centre, it was very simple but a sauna and plunge in the pool is a great way to start the day. It's nice to have the place to yourself when booked. The buffet was delicious, a lot of options...the only thing was the TV and phone did not work, but minor inconvenience

The hotel says it has hairdressers shops etc, but most of them a shut down! The spa is not the best with a sauna and a small spa pool which is neither a plunge pool or jacuzzi due to water temperature. It’s also chargeable at €9 per person per hour. This is not on their website, I would avoid as it’s nothing great or worth it. The biggest turn off for me was noise. They had some kind of young peoples function going on in the hotel several times during the week I stayed. People shouting, congregating and leaving from 1am til 4/4:30am. Then they had the elevator shaft being worked on from 7:45am for two hours, two mornings in a row! Why at that time of the morning is appalling! I had to use my mobile to call reception as my phone in the room didn’t work and after reporting never got fixed. They did offer me extra hours in the room for the noise as my flight was in the late evening. The food although for Czech Republic was expensive at the hotel, was very delicious and staff attentive.

Had a bad start to my stay when it took over 30 minutes just to find a parking spot to check in... I'm not sure if there was just a large event on that was taking up all the parking in the area, but very frustrating experience - especially when the reason why I picked this hotel was for the \"Free Parking Available\". Later learned that the hotel underground lot was available for 12 euros per night. Area around the hotel didn't feel all that safe to me - lots of people hanging around and area has clearly fallen into disrepair over the years with lots of buildings with smashed windows and closed stores (for many years).

Inside the hotel - walls were thin and the floor they put me on had wall painting going on during the day. Walls were thin and you could hear most of what was going on.

Would not recommend and will definitely not be returning.

Maybe it was a bad luck but the bathtub fixture was broken so the water was coming out from the spout and head at the same time. The card reader behind the door was faulty and turned the power off for the whole room even when the card was inserted, creating couple of uncomfortable situations. Last but not least, there were no easily accessible power outlets near the desk and the only trash can was in the bathroom. All together, not a 4* experience.

Dostaliśmy zgodnie z prośbą pokój w cichej części hotelu na dodatek w zacienionej strefie więc nie było zbyt gorąco. Wygląd pokoju znacząco się różnił od tego w czasie rezerwacji - pokój był szary i ponóry, ciemne ściany, brzydkie czarne meble,- stare pomalowane farbą. Hałasująca lodówka.

Had a horrible experience here. The room was stuffy and hot and if you turned the air conditioning on there would be an incessant beeping sound from the walls that made it impossible to sleep. The shower in the bathroom was awful and the staff was unfriendly. Location wise it isn’t great. I strongly advise future travelers to avoid.

for being a highly rated business hotel, the building seemed quite worn down behind the glitz. our room had only one electrical outlet; we unplugged the tv to use it. the bathroom did not have a showerhead, just a hand spout, and no curtain. the bathtub drain did not open without some prying. the breakfast was the most impressive part of our stay

I stayed at about 12 different hotels in Brno, and this is by far the best. The rooms are 3 to 4-star levels, most with excellent views. There are good restaurants, Luzanky park, supermarket and tram lines within walking distance.
Free access to fitness center is also a big plus.

Staff are great , the first bedroom was noisy from traffic and noise from soil pipe that went past bedroom. Spa was poor , ok the sauna was ok , but the pool was rubbish and unbearably cold . Could be so much better with a hot tub and small plunge pool . Shower in bathroom is weird , no extract fan and no shower curtain. Who sits down to shower these days .

A great place to stay in Brno!

Overall the hotel offers a very good value for the money. Here are some highlights and opportunities for improvement --

- perfect location
- clean, safe environment
- welcoming, helpful staff
- breakfast deal to die for
- overall a very good value for the money

now the improvement opportunities

- air conditioning just does not work - cool nights with open window help but AC has to be fixed people!
- car parking is free, but spaces are designed for Fiat 500, so if you bring an SUV or a fullsize car, good luck fitting your car there. Seriously - please rethink car size. It's 2019, most people drive something bigger that VW Beattle, as evident on the parking lot
- breakfasts are awesome at great price, but coffee is NOT available in the hotel 24x7, even though the machines are there. We had to leave early and not having a cup off coffee at 4am sucks.
- showers are non-existent in the room. There are very large bathtubs, but not shower curtains so showering leave the bathroom full of water no matter what you do.
- Skylounge may have nice views of Brno, but bar is closed.
- restaurants in the hotel complex offer only basic meals and no bourbon - find Globus shopping center for really generous selection of traditional Czech meals at great local prices for lunches and dinners.

Overall a good stay, but could be superb with only a few basic improvements.I highly recommend for your next stay in Brno.

Staff were lovely and friendly, breakfast was amazing, fresh, good variety, plenty of staff on hand to keep it clean and topped up.
Evening bar was also great, great service staff. Reasonable prices for all that is on offer. Didn’t have time to eat at the restaurant but if it was like the breakfast I’m sure it would be great.
Lifts came quickly and we had a couple with slight mobility issues so it worked beautifully.
You can walk into the old town or a short car drive. Kaufland nearby. Overall a great stay and would stay there again.

Nice, spacious room but we were on the 5th floor and there was nothing on the (very large) window to stop it opening really wide so I would definitely advise against staying here with children. On one day someone had walked dog sh*t all through the lobby and into one of the lifts and nobody was cleaning it up, it was gone the following morning though. In the bathroom, the shower wasn't attached above waist height so you had to sit in the bath and hold it which was tricky to do without spraying water everywhere.
