Totally disappointed. I can forgive a lot of but not if company try to get customers by lies. I always book hotels with parking, breakfast and gym. This hotel hasn’t got gym. Gym is extra paid in another place. I wouldn’t stay in this place but they provided false. Horrible business ethic.

The bar area was being renovated, so there were no on-site refreshment facilities apart from a slot machine. Guests were not allowed to use this machine after 10pm. Staff were friendly.
I was not able to use the room safe.
The hotel is in quite a rough area, though I didn't feel unsafe.
The room was basic but functional with a/c and a large tv. I had not realised that there would be a kitchen and washing machine, although I have no idea how I would have dried any laundry.

hot water doesn't work and during my cold shower discovered that the drain is minimal so water flooded the bathroom floor. spa was closed. in a remote residential so nothing close. they advertise laundry but no instructions on how to use it and no detergent. ac didn't work. nice gym. price low but too high for this place. they should either lower it more or fix the rooms up and add on to the price. its a stay but not ideal unless you like cold showers, hot rooms, nothing in walking distance and a closed spa.

Convenient location, with tram and supermarket within walking distance. Neighbourhood is not the best but ok if you are street smart. Kitchen was equipped. No black out curtains. Pillows too soft. Room clean. A bit of construction noise during the day but otherwise a good place for a decent price. If the weather is good, the pool does get crowded and noisy as it is a small one.

The room was very spacious, the space could be used more for a sofa for example. The blinds let the light in, the black curtains were missing. The TV was lousy, only 5 channels. On the last day of our stay we were woken up early in the morning by drilling next to our room, very unpleasant. Big disappointment paying for gym, the reception told me 150CZK for two hours but the gym wanted 250CZK per hour. The location of the hotel is not ideal, it is on the outskirts of the city and the street is wild, but once you get to the hotel area, everything is safe. I definitely recommend a room with a balcony that faces the atrium and you will have quiet nights than in a room on the street where it lives all night. We also visited the restaurant but it was completely empty. The price was reasonable.

Efi is a nice hotel, with friendly staff and nice big and comfortable rooms. I hadn't realised when I booked that the rooms had a kitchen area with microwave and hob. I did have a stinking cold at the time so my mind was a bit off!. The breakfast was quite good and one of the few places I've stayed in Europe that had baked beans!

What let the hotel down for me is the area of Brno in which it is located. I know the hotel can do little about it but it was very noisy and run down. I had to shut the windows in my room because of the noise.

There's a tram that stops about 5 to 10 minutes walk away. It's not far to the pretty old town of Brno.

Very poorly designed hotel, no light switch or table next to bed. Bath did not have a shower curtain, nor a holder at head level for shower head. The rooms are not air con, and the road at the front was very noisy with people shouting until 2am, so shut window and far too hot to sleep. Open window, and can't sleep due outside noise.

Bar was supposedly opened to 2200, on 08 September they had zero interest in serving at 2150, even to take a drink back to room, appalling customer service and lazy staff.

Over-all it was okay stay , but the safe didnt work, door hardwareb was falling apart , bed was super hard so was not really comfortable, and bathroom has a big tub that if you are elder or with limited mobility would have issues getting in an out, and no nightstand so have to set things on the floor .

Has 2 buildings one old wirhout airconditioning. Unfortunately this was our selection and we need to pay extra to move to the other building with air conditioning. Read carefully about your choice. The staff in reception very kindly and willing to help us in our request. Good for theirs..!!. The area of the hotel is so-so. If you like to the city center provides a free shuttle to go and return, very nice this option and the driver also.

Good stay for one night.

The welcome drink voucher on arrival was much appreciated. Parking on site is convenient and while not very cheap it is still a lot cheaper than parking elsewhere in the city. Unfortunately the room did not have AC so it was a bit hot, but we knew that before booking. It is not very far to walk into the city but the shuttle to various places in the city is wonderful. Great stay for one night.

A hidden gem

We have stayed at this hotel more than once now. The rooms are good beds are really comfortable. The staff are really helpful and friendly.
The area looks a little run down but it is 5 minute walk from Brno town centre and I have seen them redeveloping the area over the last 2 years. Absolute value for money. I have stayed at the more expensive hotels in Brno and will pick this hidden gem every time I visit.

Nice hotel just in a poor area

The hotel itself is very nice and the staff are very friendly although we did find it very hard to sleep as the beds aren’t to comfy and the blinds are useless so the room is very bright. The area around the hotel is not so good didn’t feel safe walking home late at night the hotel do provide free taxis until midnight which is great but be prepared to pay for your own after this time.

The rooms were spacious and renovated, the only positive. The location is terrible, located across the road are very unpleasant residents who make constant noise play loud music until very late cars coming and going constantly with horns beeping. The area at the front of the hotel looks like a slum. I was told by the hotel that they are gypsies. Majority of the staff are unfriendly and never appear happy, again I was told by the reception staff that this is the way central Europeans are, which I have found to be true, cultural thing I suppose, not what I'm used to in the hospitality and service industry, there really was neither, quite unpleasant. Wouldn't even consider recommending or staying here again.

Gym and sauna are not free

This hotel is located in a scummy area of Brno. No amount of free shuttles to the centre can change that. The shower is ridiculous it is in a bathtub and is only 1 foot high so you must sit to shower. The drainage is slow so you end up sitting in dirty water. But the most aggrevating thing about the hotel is that you must pay to use the gym and sauna. These features shouldn't be advertised as part of the hotel if you must pay to use them.

Perfect location with all the amenities

Only a straightforward 10-15 walk to main shops etc. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the town centre in the evening/night but we walked as so easy to do and didn't find the area intimidating like some reviewers mentioned. Room is spacious and fully equipped. Plenty of heating and hot water. Reception staff very helpful with any queries we had and are accommodating. Great hotel at a very reasonable price, wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The apartment for 6 people was amazing, spacious, beds very comfortable,everything was very clean and perfectly functional. Check in very quickly,nice staff, we got a free drink in hotel's restaurant, which was a glass of wine, we also got free taxi to the city center, free wifi and a very good breakfast. The only drawback is the area, a little shady, we saw some dubious fellows on our way back from city center, we didn't call the cab because it's not far and we wanted the walk. But apart from this, it is a very nice place to stay, and not expensive, we will definitely stay here if we came back to visit Brno.

Nice Hotel not so nice neighbourhood

Hotel about 5 minutes walk from nearest Tram stop through a rather shabby and downbeat area with some dubious looking characters hanging around and boarded up shop fronts. The Hotel itself is very nice with helpful receptionists.
I booked a standard room with double bed and wasn’t disappointed. Bed was comfortable, plenty of room to put things away and came with a kitchen unit. Everything worked as it should. Breakfast was in their restaurant which also served meals during the day. There was a good selection of breakfast food and the menu for other meals looked good although I didn’t sample any. There was a keep fit centre and swimming pool and sauna which I didn’t have time to use.
I think they are trying to regenerate the area and building works and broken paving stones were everywhere and a nuisance and I did trip over and fall bruising my hands and knees.
I requested a late checkout until 2pm and thought the 22euros charge for leaving later was a bit on the high side.
On leaving I thought it would have been nice if the receptionist had said thank you for staying with us and have a good journey home but that wasn’t forthcoming.

My experience of efi hotel was horrible

hello people this hotel looks amazing for the price right, well thats what i thought until i walked down the run down street you have to walk down to get to it walking past groups of young boys in gangs graffiti on walls rubbish on streets its a mess and you just get that feeling what have i done to deserve this. Finally upon entering the hotel we were recieved by a miserable receptionist who only spoke in czech until we asked for her to speak in english okay not a good start already felt bad. So after we checked in we were told about being charged for the hotel which i accepted, they said its okay. We went out to the town and when we returned we were stopped by the miserable receptionist and told in these exact words ( YOUR CARD DECLINED PAY NOW OR WE WILL KICK YOU OUT ) i mean its not like we wanted a free night the card i used was replaced and just had to give her my new card for payment but she just kept say the above at least three times. I was very angry as it ruined our mood, this kind of behaviour is un acceptable and unprofessional and a customer shoud not have to put up with it. i will never use this place again nor will i ever recommend this place. Its sometimes better to just pay a little more and be happy than ruining your holiday mood because you really dont want that. i normally dont write these reviews but this place was a joke.

Room was quite plain but comfortable - it seems to be aimed more at business travellers. We didn't use the kitchen facilities as we were only there for one night and the breakfast was fine. Our friends had a problem with hot water as each room has its own tank and heater. One of them had a bath and used all the hot water. they were told by a member of the staff that it would take about 2 hours for it to heat up again! Best stick to showers! It's in a very down at heel area (as is a lot of the country), but don't let this put you off. It's an easy walk into town, so not really worth bothering with the free shuttle service that they offer.

Very nice apartment in weird location

I have stayed for just one night with my friend while visiting Brno. We wanted something close by city center (it was approx 15 mins walk). The room was spacious and very new, comfortable and clean. The reception staff was very helpful and welcoming. Great for short term stay when you know you will be more out there rather than staying in the room.
Location is not so good. It is in the district of Brno which we later learned is known as dangerous in the evenings. It wasn't comfortable to walk during the daylight and in the evening I would not dare. Great news is that the hotel offers free taxi to and from city center between 16:00-midnight to make the guests feel more comfortable. So thumbs up for that.

Das Hotel ist nicht weit vom Zentrum, die Lage ist an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße. Das Zimmer war gut groß und ist mit Küche und Schreibtisch ausgestattet. Es wurde in den 3 Tagen nie gereinigt. Wir hatten getrennte Betten die wir zusammengeschoben haben. Das Frühstück ist ein gutes Buffet und befindet sich im Keller in einer Bar, die ein schönes Lokal sein könnte, aber nicht als solches genutzt wird. Generell waren wir enttäuscht weil wir eine Brauerei erwartet hatten, diese aber nicht hier ist, sondern woanders. Es gibt einen hauseigenen Minimarkt. Werbung für die Finanzdienstleistung ist allgegenwärtig.

Lobenswert ist das freundliche Personal, das Schuttel und der Pool, letzteren braucht man aber auch, da je nachdem welches Zimmer man bekommt es keine Klimaanlage gibt (oder zumindest einen Ventilator). Bei +30°C Außentemperatur wird es halt sehr schnell sehr warm Zimmer (unbequem aber nicht unaushaltbar)

L’hôtel est situé dans un quartier un peu difficile il est à 20 minutes de marche de la gare et on revient dans la vielle ville en moins de 20 minutes
La chambre est grande mais très peu équipée avec une pauvre savonnette pour les mains et un produit unique pour cheveux corps etc..
Il n’y a aucun des accessoires habituels et même pas une boîte de mouchoir
L’accès se fait avec un vigic même entre les étages si on prend les escaliers ce qui confirme le côté un peu mal famé du quartier
Après c’est propre et le tarif est très correct
La réception est polie.

私は使いませんでしたが、キッチンがあり食器もレンジもあったので自炊もいけそうです。

Personale gentile e accomodante. Struttura poco pulita. La camera puzzava di fumo.. sicuramente nonostante il divieto qualcuno ci ha fumato tranquillamente.... pavimento in gommato, che tre ad aggiungere un odore sgradevole mostra sporcizia in controluce
