Perfect Location, Perfect Place.

Stunning accommodation. The service was excellent from the front desk to the cleaners. The location is perfect to explore BRNO. They have a well laid out gym. The only negative was that i wish i stayed there longer rather than heading to Vienna. Highly recommend.

The best yet-perfect staff, perfect stay!

I don’t know if I’ve had the perfect combination of convenience, proximity, professionalism, friendless, and an incredible room all in one stay. Grandezza ticks ALL the boxes. Cannot recommend enough-from the spacious room to the killer views to all the activities in and around d the hotel, it’s the perfect place for a day or two or three in Brno. 10/10 will stay again!

The location of the hotel is great. Just a five minute walk from the rail station and in the heart of old town. I would say it's the best location in town.

The breakfast buffet has everything you could with for.

Two negatives about our room:
Placing the bathroom light switch by the room door instead of in the bathroom is extremely inconvenient.

The room description for Superior Double Rooms states that this room type has a bathtub. Turns out, only 2 rooms of this type have a tub, the rest just has a shower. Ours had a shower and my wife was looking forward to taking a bath, disappointing! If you want to make sure you get a tub, make sure you put it in the notes at time of reservation.

The stay was perfect as always. I have stayed in this hotel more than 20 times and I have always been satisfied. The staff is absolutely very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a perfect location in the center, just a few minutes walk from the Brno train station. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. Nothing to complain about. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. I recommend asking for a room with a view of the square (Zelný trh).

Lovely hotel in the heart of the old town with spectacular views of the main square and the cathedral. The hotel is in excellent condition, the room was spotless, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only small issue was the very firm bed; for me, it could have been a bit softer.

Staff at check in was great. We did request to have our room cleaned daily but they only showed up once even when we had the “clean out room” sign out. At check out they also charged me for alcohol from the mini bar that I never used. The rooms and hotel are dated. It’s a nice hotel. I wouldn’t consider it luxury though.

Not only is the location amazing, right in the middle of the historic downtown, but also the hotel itself is gorgeous. The architecture inside and outside is breathtaking. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a glass of Prosecco and then was taken to my room by a porter, Mr. Pavel. He was very warm and welcoming and the next day he even accompanied me to my means of transportation as my suitcase was heavy. The room was very clean and beautifully furnished. View from the hotel room to a town square was pictoresque. In the morning fruit and vegetable vendors were opening their stalls there which just added to a relaxing morning atmosphere. Did I mention the little handmade piece of gold chocolate waiting on a nightstand? Well, that was the cherry on top of my experience.

Great old fashioned style.

Grandezza Hotel Luxury Palace Brno is a beautiful conservative old style hotel ideally situated on one of the main squares of the old city centre below the Dom and only a few minutes' walk from the main historical and cultural sites, including Spilberk Castle. The service is excellent and the standard of the rooms is superb. The shower is in a bathtub which i personally do not like, and the shower water pressure was very low, too low.

Grandezza is Grand...!

If you're going to Brno, you gotta stay at this place. And get a \"Junior Suite\". There are only two rooms with a corner balcony. We stayed in Room 412, and the view was amazing. Big room, clean, and comfortable. The only issue was, and this seems to be more of an Eastern European thing. is the half-door of the tub-shower. Kinda goofy.
But the location is great, just a 5-minute walk from the train station and great Czech restaurants...!

Hotel looks grand but is dated. The shower is only good if you're 5ft or under. They offer a turn down service, which was not mentioned anywhere, so after 1st night I asked them not to do this again, however the next night they still came in the room. The sink also didn't drain very well at all. There was also a bottle cap on the floor when we arrived so the room wasn't hoovered very well and the tissues hadn't been refilled (only 2 in the box). Overall I would say its not worth the money, especially when Jacuzzi is an additional cost.

The staff were pleasant and appeared helpful but as mentioned ignored my request.

Imimn ( spelling) the Albanian Hotel Man was quick, accommodating and gracious …a true credit to the Hotel and gave 5 star service…warm, unlike most people we met in Brno.
The junior suite on the 5 th floor was lovely..breakfast was substantial.
The front desk ladies on the morning shift were warm and friendly..happily not aloof like the ladies that checked us in. They assisted in making train reservations, and contacted me when I left my IPad charger,

Good service until complication - then it switches

to post communist style. \"We make the rules here and you, customer, shut up and accept what we do\".
Arrival fine, nice gentlemen offered to park the car. Full stop. On departure we learned that you have to request the card 1/2 hour before you need it. Not a nice surprise, but we went to their Cosmopolis cafeteria (also partially communist style service - see separate review Cafe Cosmopolis) and returned 1/2 hour later. But! - nobody went to pick-up the car. Whilst we waited again, another customer came asking about his car. It was not ready either. He pointed out that he requested pick-up an hour ago - so even the prior advance request does not work - though there were two guys apparently dealing with car parking. (BTW the underground garage is about 2 mins away from the hotel - so if the park there......)
In both cases the staff responses were \"I don't care, it's ok, relax, take it easy and wait\". I asked for reception manager - the lady that responded initially also did not react correctly, but in the end she refunded 1 day parking fee and apologised.
And the hotel? Well, if you like very dark/dismal, very brown, days gone by, decor, you might find it impressive. I did not. I would not go back - regardless of the car parking \"service\" and partially snotty general \"service\"

We came to Brno for a weekend, to visit Villa Tugendhat. First time in the city, and we didn’t really know what to expect. We arrived very late at night, and it was an easy taxi ride to the hotel, where we received a very warm welcome. Excellent service from all staff during our stay, and everyone speaks good English. The hotel is very central, in a beautiful square, and there is a fruit and vegetable market there on Saturdays.
Breakfast was excellent, and very inexpensive, but there are also many cafes and restaurants in the area. Brno is a small and walkable city, and not heaving with tourists, which was a pleasant surprise, as we were there in high season. It’s a good stopover en route to Vienna, which is only 90 minutes away by train.
Our room was very large and comfortable, with a lovely big bathroom. Very happy we chose to stay here, as it’s a lovely hotel, in a great location, with charming, helpful staff. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Grandezza

The hotel is perfectly located on Market Square, a short walk from the train station, and the other sites in the old town. The rooms are very nice, and offer some very nice views. The restaurant was very good, and offered a delicious breakfast. The staff was very welcoming and professional.

This is a nice hotel in a great location. We walked (5min) with our luggage from the train station. All were very friendly and attentive. We had an issue with the room cleaning staff that was (thankfully) resolved. Brno is a very interesting city with wonderful architecture. If we’re ever near it again we will be sure to return.

Nice clean hotel with lovely staff and nice cafe. Rooms could be cozier (a picture on a wall would be nice). There is no lobby/bar/cafe- nowhere to lounge and relax. There is only a sit-up cafe and a vast empty reception. Breakfast is very nice in the cafe with a view of the square.

A marvel of a hotel right in the city centre, classy design, friendly staff, very clean rooms. Unfortunately the room was incredibly hot, even with the radiator turned off, which made it next to im possible to get any sleep. I told the clerk at the reception about it. We experienced an excellent 2-night stay at the Grandezza. I selected it for price and proximity to the main train station, but the hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room faced the square where a farmers market is held daily. They arrived early, but we didn’t hear a thing. We also had a great view of the cathedral. The hotel and room were very clean, and robes and slippers were provided. This hotel is also within walking distance to all major attractions in Brno.

Beautiful hotel but the staff soured it.

We had a two night stay booked and due to mid 90's temps that fact that the rooms had AC was one of the major reasons we book here.
Location was fantastic, right on a main square, and the property is beautiful. Clean and looks to be well maintained.
The first night we got into the room at about 1730 and it was hot. We started the AC and left to walk around a bit and fine dinner. When we returned 5 hours later it has cooled down to about 78 F. Still a bit warm but tolerable but it was late and we figured it would only get cooler. 3am the AC shut itself off and would not come back on. Temp went way up in the room so we opened the window. That was OK until they started setting up the market outside our window at 5am.
At 7 am we went down to the front desk to get our room changed. Desk staff claimed there was nothing he could do and we had to wait until 9am when the manager came in. Finally, after over an hour of trying to reason with him he offered to downgrade our room or wait until maintenance could fix the AC in our room. When maintenance looked at it & said there was nothing wrong so we didn't trust it was working correctly or would stay working.
Finally, about 910am the manager came in and offered no help either. After 30 minutes more we got a different room. It was an upgrade but we literally had to fight for it. Even in this room the AC was cold but the fan was barley blowing to the room was cool, but cold was not possible.
No offer of discount, food or beverage.

Lovely hotel beside the square in the centre of Brno. Welcome drink on arrival; most appreciated considering how warm it was in August 2022. The breakfast was hearty. We arrived by train from Prague. The hotel is within 10 minutes walk from Brno station. Brno is a delightful city and we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is in the nouveau classic style and magnificent. Room was large, comfortable and well appointed. Parking is either on site or garaged at €23/d mainly due to this being a pedestrian area. Staff are excellent and very helpful. Overall a very impressive experience.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. Parking is available on site - via concierge. Lots of cafes, restaurants and bars nearby, so I didn't need breakfast. The room I was given this time was enormous with views over the market square. There were some minor maintenance issues that the staff said would be fixed after my short stay.
