Plan and simple the room was nice and clean. AC absolutely does not work though. I read all the reviews and the comments back from the hotel are snarky and make it look like customer error but in general it doesnt work. Cant open the windows or mosquitos will come in because there are no screens. There is nothing worth eating in the area. Best option is Mcdonalds.

The biggest issue me and my partner had was when we asked for recommendations on where to eat, the receptionist gave us a scrap paper with some options. When i flipped it over later it was THE LEFT HALF OF SOMEONES PASSPORT. ALL INFORMATION WAS SHOWN, minus the right side of the photo copy. We went and asked the receptionist after discovering this if she photo copies all passports and she quickly said yes and hid some paperwork on the desk once we asked if she shredded them after or filed them. She said she filed them. The next day we talked to another receptionist and he pretended to not understand what we were saying and said they dont take pictures of passports. THIS IS A HUGE CONFIDENTIALITY ISSUE. Had we been someone else we could have stolen this persons identity. This hotel either does not have standard protocol for sensitive info or has a lack of care. I work with these forms for a living and never once have I given a photocopy of a passport to a random person. This is a security violation for any customer who goes to this hotel.

The property was not as expected from listing but was reasonably good. the room was spacious and clean but do not expect a spa tub with the more economical rooms as the room was fairly standard but adequate with a stand-up shower. Our group had two rooms that were essentially the same but one of them did not have an electric kettle and was missing a remote for the tv. The reception area was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful, and the remote was replaced immediately upon request. Ice and cups were provided at the bar upon our request. there was climate control, but it was set for the building and was not adjustable per the preferences of the guest. There may have been other options or amenities on offer as there was a bar area with food items laid out but nothing was offered or explained at the front desk. Wifi is listed as an amenity but no wifi information was provided with the room key or documented in the room. The area around the hotel did not appear to be walkable or have dining or activity options but this was ok for our purposes as there were gas stations and our primary need was to be convenient to Malpensa airport which was less than 20 minutes away.

READ THE GOOGLE REVIEWS !
Multiple people are saying the exact same thing about the AC.
The air condition temperature for the rooms is set by the property. They are set to 26.6 degrees C, 80 degrees F for summer. They cannot be changed by the guest in the room. The front desk will look you in the eye and tell you that they will turn it cooler, then when the temperature doesn’t change they make up all kinds of excuses why.
VERY DISHONEST !
We paid extra for a room with a private sauna and whirlpool but could not use either because of the HOT ROOM.

The property was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was good.

The breakfast was Amazing! .

Staff was very lovely, speaking English just perfect to communicate.

From the airport to the hotel it’s only 15min driving but the taxi cost ( 45-70 €) for one way soooo expansive I was shocked.

I had to pay 25 pounds for an earlier check-In which was okay and understandable.

Unfortunately my worry during my staying was the heating problem and never works during my entire staying. My room was cold knowing the temperature dropped so it’s was terrible and I was in ground floor.

Apparently the heating system works in a specific time during the day (6-10am) and (8-10pm).

Service was excellent. Stayed for 3 nights. Breakfast was excellent and abundant. Restaurant next door was also excellent. Was able to walk to shopping, less than a mile. Taxi to train. Train to Milan was about an hour ride so this location is outside the metropolitan Milan area, but close to Malpensa.

Rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast complete and the gym has most of the required tools.

However, please note that this a premium motel transforming into a hotel so some rooms can be a bit dark, some finishing details are missing etc

I was able to check in early which was great! However upon checking in my room, all of the walls pretty much had water damage (so I was told) but I do not believe it was new. It looked like mold and I was not able to change my room. The two things that was great was I slept well/my room was always attended to, and the breakfast options were great. The room I selected had a sauna, so that made the stay a little better. I did not ask many questions such as where’s the gym etc… because I felt like I was being annoying to ask. The hotel is close to some stores but you would need to rent a car to get around. That’s not an issue. I’m not sure if I’d come back due to the room mold water damage issue. I feel that was messed up, when I showed the front desk photos, it was shrugged off,

I booked a hotel in Milan for my friends, for their honeymoon as surprise. On Sunday, two days before their departure, the hotel messages me to say that there is a fault with the junior suite and they are providing another room (a downgrade). Of course I was not happy with this as what I paid for was a junior suite and more importantly, the room was not for me - it was for their friends for their honeymoon. I asked them to refund the difference, as the room they were providing was a lot cheaper than what I paid for. They wouldn’t do this. Instead, the said they would do a free spa, refund me the money the €10 I paid for rose petals and candles to be around the room and leave a bottle of alcohol. I told them this is not acceptable as 1. My friends do not drink and 2. It’s a honeymoon.
I also asked if they provide a shuttle service to which they responded no.
Nonetheless, my friends went to the hotel and immediately they are met with renovations. None of which was stipulated at the time of booking.
The hotel did not provide the decorative features I asked for, instead scattering some petals, some of which my friend said were burnt.

Bed bugs were also present in the room. Really disappointed with this hotel, especially as the previous reviews seemed so positive.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean.

The shower wasn't working properly in our room so we had to change rooms. The rooms were dark and there was a light bulb that was out. The location was difficult to get to without a car and not as close to the airport as the website lead us to believe. The website says that there's an airport shuttle, but there isn't. We were told by the staff that they had a contract with a local taxi cab company and that we could get a good rate. Our rate was not good. It was actually more expensive than when we called the taxi ourselves.

I like that the checking was fast and the service breakfast was very good and staff at the breakfast area were nice . I did not like that the room was cold for the first 3 nights and I asked for help no one came until the fourth day . We had to sleep like if we were in the street was terrible cold . I did not like that there is no instructions or map for near places to go.

Walking the halway to our room there was several area's of the lower wall where water damage was visible. On sight restaurant closed very early, 8 oclock, however the restaurant located next to the restaurant was charming and offered delicious food. Nice room which was clean however thin walls so TV from next room was heard most of the night. Very nice Italian breakfast buffet in the morning

LIKE: Spacious room and bathroom, parking outside the room, breakfast was superb with plenty of selections hot & cold, wonderful artisan breads and pastries, and even raw honey on the comb!
DISLIKES: Entry & Exit to parking was ridiculous having to get out of our car every time and go into the reception booth to have a staff member press a button to open the bar across, why not automate this with the room key card. No counter top space in the huge bathroom (where does one store essential toiletries?). Our particular Room 126 had a horrible bed - you could see the well used mattress coils coming through even with the sheets on top - my husband hates to complain and as a result I left there after 4nights with terrible back and shoulder pain. Lighting in the room was also very bad and portrayed a dark atmosphere (like a nightclub) rather than a cheery room where one can read a book, relax after a long day of travelling, or simply watch some TV. thanks

This was the worst hotel on our recent trip to Europe. It was difficult to get to from the station. Once we arrived we took a \"taxi\" that had no meter. The beds have only sheets, no blankets. The entire facility was in poor repair (the pull on the pocket door fell off, the rack in the shower was hung crooked, all taps had filters installed but the water ran outside the filters, etc.) The \"airport shuttle\" the hotel advertises is the very same \"taxi\" from the day before. Still no meter and no set price for the drive to the hotel until you arrive. I would not stay here again and would not recommend to a friend.

Very basic. I chose it for the free airport shuttle listed and very Disappointed that there was none. The room was uncomfortably hot which they could not fix. Slept with the window open all night. Card board bed and pillows. Asked them to call a taxi that would accept credit card. It arrived quite late and upon arrrival at the airport they required cash. The breakfast was again, basic. For the 8 hrs we were there it was ...sufficient.

Had a good stay here. The room was as pictured on the website and the bathroom as well. The hotel has a spa and gym. I used the gym which had some cardio equipments and a weight machine. The breakfast was good, although not my typical breakfast as it was mainly pasteries and breads. Staff are quiet friendly and helpful. The hotel shuttle was not available when i needed it from the airport so I'm not sure they provide that service. They however offered a taxi ride that cost €35 from the airport. Overall, good stay.

Overall our experience was positive.
Smoking -
As we are all non-smokers we found that our rooms especially 152 filled with side stream smoke all day long this was from the smoking area just underneath...smoke rises - this rendered our experience uncomfortable for us especially as the air conditioning had been switched off at the main switches so this smoking problem prevented us from keeping our windows open for fresh air.
Also
We noted staff seen smoking in the stairwell so the smoke wafted through the corridors,
For us this was most uncomfortable..just seemed everybody smoked in Italy overall.

This is an awesome hotel. It is modern clean, with friendly and helpful staffs.
It is centrally located within a few minutes walking distances to restaurants, supermarkets and shopping centers. You can travel to anywhere from from the Busto Arsizio train station, a few kilometers away. Although you can walk from the hotel to the train station, I would not recommend it. The taxi is about 12-15 euros. And yes, some Taxis are BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and other fine vehicles. The taxi drivers are honest and will not do any funny stuff. We enjoyed staying at Hotel D120. Thanks

The hotel rooms look great from pictures, but the hallways are dirty and gross and stained carpets everywhere as well as old walls and ceilings. Once we got into our room, there was a hole in the wall and tiles missing from the shower. The room seemed to be nice until you look closely and see the wallpaper doesn’t even reach the ceiling and is peeling off, the ceiling has mold all over and stains in the carpet. Asked to be changed to a different room which ended up being slightly nicer (hardwood floors, better bathroom) but this one had way more mold just visible all over the ceiling tiles in the bathroom and in the front part of the room. I have really bad reactions to mold and it was 11 pm that we finally were settling into bed that I noticed the mold. I had a flight to catch early the next morning otherwise I would have immediately just gone to another hotel. It’s been over 24 hours and I’m still having trouble breathing/coughing/wheezing from sleeping in that filthy room. Front desk was somewhat helpful with requests but not very. Pretty disappointed in this and that this was specifically recommended by Expedia. I never have written a review but I’m suffering a lot so felt it necessary to warn others.

The hotel does not have a shuttle contrary to what the website shows. The did not tell me this when I scheduled one to leave they said they will reserve the shuttle which is 25 euro. What really happened was they called a taxi who charged 40 euro to go to they airport (MXP). Additionally there is nothing near by to do, only a burger place and McDonalds. Their restaurant is expensive with little options and hours.

Broken Door Knobs and Stained Room Carpet

Lock on door was broken an employee came up to fix another problem and pretended he did not see and feel the broken lock.

Carpet was stained. It looked like a huge explosion of blood. I put down towels to avoid walking on the carpet.

Lights kept going out because the card reader that kept the lights on needed to be giggled. When I asked to be moved, an employee came upstairs, giggled the card, the lights went on and then abruptly told me that I did not have the card all the way into the slot. The lights kept going off and on.

Broken international adapter in room. Asked them for another and they did not have and said I was plugging it in, incorrectly.

I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. NEVER!

Location is perfectly convenient

Hotel is such a perfect location for us traveling by car to visit Milan, Lake Como, Lake Maggiorre, Lugano, Turin, Parma, and Alessandria. The room we stayed in was spacious and the breakfast staffs were exceptional. There are supermarkets and malls very nearby. Will def stay here every time we visit Milan.

This is our 3rd stay at Hotel D120 and its been always a pleasant stay.
The hotel is only 10minutes from Malpensa airport by car and they offer covered parking for free.
Room is spacious, clean and comfy bed and Wifi works good.
The best thing is breakfast, there so many variety,,, homemade bread, cakes, muffins, pizza and cheese, salami, yogurt and fresh fruits and more..One of the best breakfast I ever had in Italy!
We will definitely come back.

While the room was good, big & clean & the breakfast was lovely, room service for food was slow & meal, when it did arrive, was cold.

Good value, great customer service.

We stayed here for the Italian Grand Prix Weekend. Its about 45- an hour away from the Track. The Hotel does look nicer in the pictures than it does in real life. Check in was nice, the 2 ladies were really nice and later during our trip ordered food for us since we only speak English. The rooms were standard/clean. Was a surprised they didn't have any USB slots to charge stuff. Free parking and wifi. Breakfast was also good.

Nice hotel, comfy beds, very quiet

Happy with the hotel as we were staying for hotel, staff were always friendly and spoke a bit of english. Room was always clean and the beds were hard but surprisingly very comfy. We didn't have breakfast and there was no restaurant so that is a downside as there are not that many restaurants within walking distance but the 3 main ones that are were pretty good. About 20 min walk to station so get a car if you're not keen on walking.

it was okay

We booked this hotel because it is 15 minutes away from Malpensa Airport. However, there is no public transportation near the hotel. I believe there are bus services. However, it is not a very touristy area. If you have a car, this is an excellent hotel to stay at. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it.

Perfect Stay, MXP and north-west Italy

The go to hotel near MXP.

Spent over 12 night days discovering the local areas. Explored Tourist spots, Old world fair, Industrial parks, Agriculture centers, Big and Smaller cities. Enjoyed the wide range of foods and presentations, Enriched with the sincerity of the people. Took in the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes. Enough tranquility to visit over and over again.

Dissapointing.

Pros: very friendly and helpful staff, good Wifi, lots of parking, good bathroom, mini fridge in room and breakfast was good.
Cons: Hard bed, Air con useless in warm weather, hotel passageway has filthy carpet and hot in breakfast room.
I would not stay there again in hot weather.

Airport Hotel in Deteriorating Condition

This is hotel with a great lobby and bar. The rooms are a disappointment, small with bathrooms that are sub-par. The hallways are dark and the air-conditioning system marginally functional. We are frequent MPX travelers and the other airport hotels at the same rate are superior and more convenient to the airport. The lack of a courtesy shuttle is also disadvantageous. The staff members are the single shining light in our stay. They were absolutely wonderful and helpful.

Nice clean hotel. Major issue was that the only reason I booked here was for the shuttle to Malpensa. Well, said shuttle was not running that toning so I had to pay the very expensive cab fare instead of the much more affordable shuttle.

On our way to the airport

We stayed here on our way back to the Milano airport after we had spent a week journeying thru Italy. The hotel itself was very modern but a little worn looking. The front desk staff were very helpful and courteous. It cost 95 Euros without tip to take a cab to get here from the train station and then another 45 Euros the next morning to get to the airport. Therefore next trip we will stay at a hotel closer to the airport. The little restaurant next door, Eat Good, was very good!

Clean, friendly, modern hotel

Very modern, clean hotel. Maids clean up well and beds are extremely comfy. Staff are very helpful with any requests. However the hotel location is an hour away from milan central and requires lots of travel. Please be aware that the hotel also charges you for using room facilities (ie tea, coffee, fridge) and will charge you when checking out.
