A Hidden Gem

Eurasia is like an oasis - quiet and spacious - while still being close to shopping and restaurants. The room choices are between suites and cottages. Both are good. The staff are relaxed and eager to assist. We have found them to consistently go beyond what we ask or expect. We have stayed here many times and hosted a conference once. We would not hesitate to do so again.

SCAM ALERT! DO NOT STAY HERE. We booked the Cottage Garden Suite, which looks gorgeous in the photos with granite tub and nice patio deck. When we arrived, there was some trouble finding our booking. They asked to see our reservation and I showed the email from Expedia, which only read “1 room” not the type. When I pulled up the listing of the Cottage Garden Suite, they said that room was booked (they only have one), so they’d put us in the Cottage Room. This room was not only cheaper than what we paid for but DISGUSTING. Black mold, loud machine sounds, bugs and webs everywhere and NOTHING like the pictures online. We didn’t want to stay there and called Expedia to see about a refund but they said it was up to the hotel. I asked Expedia for an itemized receipt to show that I paid for the Cottage Garden Suite, but they couldn’t provide that either. Feeling stuck, we asked hotel if there were any other rooms so they moved us to the Eurasia Suite, which is even cheaper (half the price) of the room we originally booked. This room was cleaner, but again not what we booked. We held onto hope that Expedia would refund us the difference and over the course of a week we had four long phone calls with them and email exchanges where we were told again and again it was up to the hotel to refund us. They would not. Not only did we lose money by paying for a room they gave away, the hotel has no gym as advertised and food is terrible. Check your receipts from expedia or get scammed!

Great value

This is the third time we have stayed at Eurasia Chiang Mai and do so because it is good value for money and the location suits us. However this time we found our cottage was not as clean as we thought it could be and it is looking very much in need of a facelift. The bathroom in particular needs renovating. We do love the single level cottages and the garden setting with the ability to park a car right next to our door. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Quiet Oasis in Chiang Mai

Set in a beautiful and well-maintained garden secluded from a main highway, this hotel is historic and unique. The bungalows are exceptional for a relaxing experience and value. The suites are large. The charm of the buildings have been preserved in the woodwork and decor. The beds could use some updating, however, and the lift is not accessible to the disabled because a small flight of stairs must be ascended to get to it. Nevertheless, this hotel is excellent value and a welcomed oasis in Chiang Mai. The free shuttle to the Night Bazaar is a plus.

A Little Tired

My wife had to have surgery at the nearby Bangkok Hospital, which is why I stayed here. To be fair, I want in the greatest place. The room was very large, but the facilities we're a bit tired. The carpet was frayed, the bathroom was old, and an odor of cigarette smoke permeated the air. The pool area looked great, and other than those things mentioned, this appeared to be a pleasant enough place. It just needs a little face-lift.

Roomy Hotel Room

We stayed here due to a family medical emergency, not a vacation ,and it is very affordable. It's not an ideal location if you want to walk or cycle to certain locations so we often used Uber rides and the hotel provided a reliable shuttle service we were able to take advantage of. The restaurant is ok and has some good choices but we would have liked to see bacon included with the buffet breakfast as the sausages they have taste like hotdogs. Our room was very spacious with a long balcony that overlooked the front of the hotel where we could see the pool off to the left. However, we had a terrible time taking showers as the shower temperature could not be properly or safely regulated to prevent scalding hot or icy cold showers. Take a bath instead as it's safer. They really need to fix this as the instructions provided do not give the desired results--don't know if the same problem exists in other rooms? The hotel staff are great and do their best to help. We still think it was a good value and the pool water was always clean and the ac worked well and the mattress was firm (good for my back).

Slipping past it's prime ....

We spent six nights at this hotel in a suite room. This worked out quite well for our working days (two desks to work at) and enjoying a quiet weekend (spacious seating area). The pool was clean and well maintained even offering towels and nice lounge chairs with umbrellas. However, we felt that the hotel was dated and needs attention to details. It was very hard to maintain the shower water's temperature. The carpet was stained.
We'd highly recommend coming with a power strip as all the outlets already are used by the room's lamps/tv. Thankfully, we travel with a power strip and only had to unplug one lamp to charge our electronic devices.
During the second half of the week, a tour bus arrived with very large group of tourists who overran the hotel's general areas holding loud conversations at late hours.

Lovely Oasis - Great Location!!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The rooms where very spacious, clean, comfortable and lovely! We really enjoyed the separate living area. Also great closet space. Enjoyed having a bathtub as well, a bit rare here in Thailand. The hotel also had several lovely places to sit. The pool and lounge chairs were great, as well as the restaurant!
We stayed in the hotel area, but walked around the cabins, each one is beautiful and private with lovely big porches, and lots of beautiful trees and pretty plants. Really nice area, like a little oasis in the city. Also just off the superhighway, and short drive to the old city. Free shuttle, and desk will also call you a Uber or taxi.
Enjoying that Chiang Mai is Uber friendly, great way to get around.
Would highly recommend this place and hope to stay here again!!

Spacious room, bedroom area and a small living room with TV set and a sofa, spacious and comfortable bed.The staff is polite. The price seemed to be OK when we booked. Staff was polite.
Downs: Far from the centre, The room are dated and dark, but what puts me off the most was the state of the bathroom, black mould and smelly. The hotel require redecoration.

Best in Chiang Mai

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. We got a villa and it was amazing! Spacious, clean, comfortable just perfect for a good rest and continue exploring the city the following morning. The hotel also has a free shuttle bus to town which is about 10 minutes away. It was a great experience!

Nice big room and convenient for the bus station. We were pleased to find that there was a free shuttle service which ran us to the bus station but also the city.
Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with good western options.
Room (suite) was nice and big but bathroom could do with a refurb as there was mould and generally looking tired.

Clean but a little dated. Huge room in hotel, lounge, bedroom, dressing room. Nice pool, breakfast OK. Location is good for arcade bus station but out of town. A free shuttle every couple of hours till 9.30. Left our luggage while trekking in a room that didn't look very secure but it was OK when we got back.

Lovely gardens, friendly staff in Chiang Mai

I got a good last minute deal on the hotel. I initially booked a suite, which worked out about 8 GBP more than the price for a cottage in the gardens. However, on checking in, I found that the suite was very dark and in the rather functional main hotel building. I asked to move to a cottage in the gardens, and much preferred this. They were in the tropical gardens and had a verandah. They had high ceilings with a skylight and were comfortable and decorated in attractive colours. The bathroom could have done with some renovation, also some of the general upkeep with regard to decoration. There were no bathrobes or slippers, as advertised. I slept really well, there was no traffic noise. The rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. There is a safe like box in the wardrobe, but it is portable and is opened by the key, with the room key, so I did not use it. The hotel is a drive away from the city centre, but there is a free hotel shuttle bus every two hours or so. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, but communication was sometimes a problem, due to limited English. The breakfast was included, but was not fantastic, it is served buffet style. The pool area is also pleasant and the pool was warm. I would recommend lots of DEET in the evening, because of the gardens and open plan nature of the restaurant. There is a tour desk and the gentleman on it was helpful and spoke good English.

I love the cottage here. The room is very large and clean. It's generous to have such good cottage here. The cottage between distance is enough privacy. And the shuttle bus is good service that no need to worried about the tranportation and distance between town and hotel.

The hotel is nice. The cottages are comfortable and clean. We only stayed because it was part or a tour we did and free. The staff was friendly. Free shuttle to night market. Ok pool. The food was terrible. Well we only had the breakfast but the buffet had ants crawling all over the food. Almost inedible. Would not stay there again but mainly because of location.

When we first checked in we were very disappointed with our suite, but after asking about the pictures we saw online we were able to stay in the garden suite which was much better. Pool is nice, but small. Restaurant overpriced. The hotel van will take you to the night market or some places around the hotel, very friendly staff. No where else to eat anywhere around the hotel. Very clean though.

Big disappointment

The hotel seemed so cute from pictures and reviews, but the exterior view was the only thing cute about it. Up close, everything was dirty and outdated. The rooms were barren and had uncomfortable furniture and old TVs. Everything needed a fresh coat of paint. Towels were old and rough -- definitely not a crisp white anymore. The room was also pretty buggy, which made for an uncomfortable sleep, since I got a bite one night and saw a spider in the bed another night. The pool could be nice if they would just invest in some new chairs. The ones they have are so dirty and beat up. Really no care taken to detail in this hotel and nothing is well kept.

Not what we were expecting

The pictures of this hotel are quite beautiful but very misleading to the room we actually had. That being said the room was clean and comfortable and was very good value for money. The location was not ideal as it was quite far from the main areas of Chiang Mai. It is a quiet place which was great but we would recommend the hotel for people that have access to a car/motorbike. The breakfast service was quite nice however the food in the restaurant is very overpriced. We ended up staying for only 3 nights and then switched to another hotel in the old town for our remaining time in Chiang Mai. Although that hotel was not as nice the location was far better.

we booked for a double bed and instead we had 2 single beds put together. It was quite hard to sleep between the middle gap all night .The shower stand was quite low, my partner and I had to kneel down to have a shower each time.The internet at the hotel didn't work and they charged for 1hour when we checked out.Apart from that the staffs were ok,the hotel wasn't far from the night bazzar.

Take time out....

Whilst the hotel is out of town, 100baht in a tuk-tuk gets you to the old city no problem, or the free shuttle bus from the hotel every hour drops you near the Mae Ping River.

The grounds are lovely, loads of native trees all labelled up for info, and the pool is beautiful (although damn cold in January)!
The staff were very helpful even though not much English was spoken.

The beds are VERY comfortable, and the bungalows are nicely spaced out, although the bathrooms could do with updating.

We stayed here for 3 nights and thought it a great spot to unwind and catch some sun, and fresher air after Bangkok. Whilst it isn't luxurious, we'd go back again.

The hotel is beautiful. I booked a cottage, but it's not available, so I had to stay in the building. The room is good, but the bath is quite old. I think it's might be renovated from the old hotel but still look fine, especially for cottage zone.
Hotel service is good. Recommend this hotel!!

超值大套房的清邁酒店

這間酒店價格超值，我們訂的是套房，房間真的超大，有７8平方米，分為客廳和睡房，還有衣帽間，很方便，把衣物通通掛起，－目了然，不用每天往行李箱找。

這酒店提供早餐，有菜、有肉、有麵包、生果、奶茶／咖啡／果汁等等。每天菜色有些少更換，雖不算非常高級，但絕對讓你吃得飽。

這裡離古城有點遠，酒店有提供有時限的Shuttle bus，如果時間不合，可由酒店代訂計程車，我們那天要去三王紀念碑，收費只是泰幣82元。但如果在街上找雙條車，往往要200泰銖。

此外這酒店離Big C Extra及Central Festival等百貨公司也很近，我們曾由Central Festival步行回酒店，需時約３０分鐘。

於我們而言，這酒店唯－需改進的浴廁有點老舊，我們入住兩間房，其中－間的淋浴花灑的冷水掣是壞的，我們只能使用熱水非常小心沖涼。

交通手段がなければ大変だと思います。
部屋は広く、1ベッドルーム（バルコニー付き）
大きめのバスタブもあります。
欠点はお湯の調節が出来ないので浸かることはできますが体や頭を洗うのが難しい。
Wi-Fiは繋がりにくい。

Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig, im alten chinesischen Stil eingerichtet und im großen und ganzen sehr sauber. Unter dem Sofa gab es flusen und eine Mandarine. Der Pool war schön und die Außenanlage mit uralten Bäumen und üppiger Vegetation einfach gigantisch. die Lodges, die über die Außenanlage verteilt sind sahen super schön aus und sind moderner eingerichtet als die Zimmer im Hauptgebäude.
In der an sich sehr lauten und abgasreichen Stadt war das Hotel eine echte Oase der Ruhe.
Das Frühstücksbufet war relativ einfach für den westlichen Gaumen. Es gab 1-2 Sorten Marmelade, 2 Sorten Toastbrot, Spiegeleier, 2 Sorten Würstchen, 2 Sorten Reis, 2 warme Thaigerichte, 2 Suppen, Karotten, Gurken, Paprika, grüner Salat, 2 Salatsoßen, 2-3 Sorten Obst, Kornflakes und Schokoflakes + Tee, Kaffee, Milch, O-Saft, Wasser. Ich habe was gefunden, aber nach 3x Frühstücken hatte ich schon etwas Mühe

ประทับใจกับการให้บริการของพนักงานที่โรงแรมในระดับหนึ่งแต่รู้สึกผิดหวังกับเรื่องความสะอาดของห้องพักเป็นอย่างมาก อุปกรณ์เครื่องใช้หลายอย่างในห้องพักก็ไม่พร้อมใช้งาน ก๊อกน้ำร้อนกับน้ำเย็นที่อยู่ในห้องน้ำผสมน้ำอุ่นอาบไม่ได้ น้ำถ้าไม่ร้อนจัดก็เย็นจัด แอร์ในห้องนั่งเล่นก็ไม่เย็น ปรับอย่างไรก็มีแต่แค่ลม (ที่ไม่เย็น) ออกมา ตู้เซฟนิรภัยไม่สามารถเปิดได้ ฯลฯ

อาหารเช้าถึงจะมีตัวเลือกน้อยแต่ก็ถือว่าดี รสชาติอร่อยและดูสะอาดน่ารับประทาน ชอบครับ โดยรวมแล้วผมชอบทำเลที่ตั้งของโรงแรมที่รถไม่ติดเวลาจะออกไปไหน ราคาห้องพักก็คุ้มค่าเงินมาก ถ้าตั้งใจปรับปรุงดูแลให้ข้าวของเครื่องใช้ทุกชิ้นในห้องพักอยู่ในสภาพดีและรักษาความสะอาดของห้องพักในทุกซอกมุมแล้วก็มั่นใจได้เลยว่าลูกค้าจะพากันกลับไปใช้บริการอีกอย่างแน่นอนครับ

Zeer ruime kamer met veel comfort . Hotel bezit een mooie tuin met zwembad en sfeervol restaurant. Lektuur aanwezig in diverse talen.
Gratis shuttleservice naar het centrum.
Hulp bij aanvraag taxivervoer en boekingen van excursies. Ook advies hierbij.

Sijainniltaan rauhallinen, joskin kaukana keskustasta. Shuttlekuljetukset ja tuktukin käyttö helpottivat sijainnin aiheuttamaa ongelmaa. Hyvät, tilavat huoneistot. Asiallinen aamiainen. Mukava ilmapiiri. Aivan erinomainen wifi.
