Front desk overcharged me when I checked in and told me it was only a hold not a charge. But they actually posted a charge without ever giving me an invoice. Bedroom had two beds and was too small to walk around in as beds took up the whole space. Bathrooms were too small to walk in. Kitchen and living room were nice. This is a timeshare and has none of the amenities or service you'd expect in a hotel. Would never return.

I really appreciated the location with attached amenities (ABC) & (Denny’s). Staff were helpful and friendly. My suite was clean, and had all the appropriate household items needed for a enjoyable stay.

The staff and the guys who always brought out our rental car to us several times a day and parked it. I had a room with 2 bathrooms which you need when we had 5 people staying in the hotel room. The view was great from our room. Close to everything in Waikiki Beach, shops, & restaurant. Thru had a whiskey bar upstairs if you like to drink. I would definitely stay here again.

I will definitely stay here again! The rooms are exactly as described and we’re perfect for our girls trip! It was a little more difficult to use the washers and dryers when needed. We had to plan a day around them being available. The pool wasn’t incredibly clean, considering it was on the rooftop! The staff went above and beyond AJ in the carport made us feel like family.

The property is conveniently located in the Waikiki area of Honolulu . The unit we stayed in is badly in need of a major renovation and decor is “old style “ so nothing special . The bathroom is tiny and outdated .

I dont want people to know about this 'secret' perfect property and mess it up for us. This property is perfection. Well maintained, cheerful and friendly staff, centrally located, very affordable, great amenities...if you're picky or ungrateful or cheap...stay away...this is our favorite spot...we watch fireworks easily from our balcony...they have studios, one bedrooms, and suites...oh my!

The rooms are definitely outdated. We had a 1 bedroom suite on the 22nd floor. It was nice to see the ocean from our balcony and being able to walk over to the beach. The room however was vey awkwardly set up. The pullout coach was so close to the TV stand that it is scrapes it each time you open and close it. If you have both the pullout coach and the Murphy bed pulled down getting around the living area is a challenge. The main room was ok. Not very roomy either but it had its own bathroom. The laundry room and one of two ice machines were basically next to parked cars. The 2 hot tubs were on a balcony of a converted room 20+ floors away from the small pool. There was pealing paint everywhere. The shower heads need cleaning to help them shoot in one direction. All members of my family agreed this is not a place we’ll be coming back to. The valet employees however were the highlight of our stay here. They were always smiling and courteous to all who approached them.

The room was nice and comfortable. My only suggestion would to have towels available to guests if housekeeping is on the floor instead of telling people to go downstairs to refresh their towels.
Everyone was very friendly from the car porter to housekeeping.

We booked 2 Palm suites next to each other for our party of 8. Room was clean and checkin was fast. Each suite was a bit small but there were 2 bathrooms and a kitchen which we needed since we have a baby in our party. We had a problem with the door key in one of the suites but the staff have been very helpful and tried to fix it. The location of the hotel was perfect, walkable to the beach and surrounded by restaurants and shops. We didn't get a chance to use the pool or sauna but hopefully next time we'll stay longer and get a chance to explore more. I do recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again!

Stayed four nights and no room cleaning nor towel replacement. You needed to go to housekeeping and return your towels and get new ones. Toilet stunk. Battery in both TV remote and door needed replacement. So needed maintenance to get in room.
Rained on one day and hotel did not have any loaner umbrellas.
Shows beach view on pictures on Expedia but unless you are a timeshare owner you cannot see that view.

Furniture doesn’t fit the rooms properly (vanity too big for the bathroom so the toilet is cramped; dresser too big for the space), shower faucet broke and leaked, no daily servicing of rooms (have to stay more than 5 days to get clean sheets), if you want clean towels, you have to carry your dirty towels down to the laundry facility yourself to change them out. I will not stay here again.

Our weekend staycation was awesome. Hot tub and pool was very relaxing. Easy check in and out. Friendly staff food and shops conveniently nearby. The room was the perfect size. The tub in the main bathroom kept popping and there was a little wear and tear on the blinds in there but that could have been from previous guests too. The kitchen was perfect size although we didnt need it. If we stayed longer then the weekend it wouldve been used. Overall it was great relaxing get away.

When we booked our stay at the Imperial Resort we relied heavily on reviews posted and I hope this review is helpful to someone else. Firstly, we are a family of 4 with two teenagers. Space for each of them for sleep and 2 bathrooms is top on our list when we travel. We stayed in a Palm suite and were very happy that it checked off each of these requirements having a separate bedroom for us and then a Murphy bed (so easy to use and put away daily! ) and a queen sized sofa bed for our kids. Having a small yet complete kitchen available was really nice and the tiny dishwasher, coffee pot and toaster were nice inclusions.

The great:
- larger apartment style hotel spaces for families or friends traveling together
-kitchen and 2 baths in our suite
-value for cost
- LOCATION! Soooo perfect with Waikiki beach walk right there, loads of restaurants within steps away and the beach across the street and down a very short 1 min path
-rooftop pool and loungers make for a perfect quiet spot for catching some sun, viewing the beach and reading or splashing with the kids
- exceptionally kind and attentive staff, particularly the men working the Valet and the front desk staff.
-the valet works seamlessly and seems on par or better priced than other parking options we explored

What could be improved?
- The building is old and showing signs of wear. Reno’s to bathrooms and suites should be considered to stay attractive. It’s a clean and comfortable Hawaiian vibe though! Would stay again!

On-site valet parking for a fee, with weekly rate available.
Quick walk to the beach, especially if you go through the back lobby entrance.

We enjoyed our stay. We found the hotel quiet and close to everything we liked. Shopping. Beaches. There’s an ABC store just outside the lobby as well. Other than the traffic in the area, everything was fine. Just know this is an older hotel. Staff was very nice.

Loved staying here! Clean, spacious (1 bed/2 bath condo), comfortable. Great view of the ocean from the balcony. Located near everything in Waikiki. The resort didn’t feel crowded at all - I was able to book a massage (spa is in the building), enjoy the rooftop pool, and use the elevators and guest laundry without any problems. For the price, this is a fantastic deal. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely night a the Imperial Hawaii. Given the crazy, unexpected Kona Low storms of March, 2026, we were only at the Imperial one night and unable to use many of the amenities (e.g., pool). However, the staff at the Imperial totally made up for the weather. The valet staff were wonderful. Special shout outs to Tommy at the front desk and Linda, the notary. I ended up being in the difficult position of needing to use the business center and notary services multiple times, all of them under time constraints/stress. Tommy and Linda made it all seem easy. Thank you, thank you. The Imperial feels like a family and we will certainly be back!

We weren't able to stay. I was under emense pressure to find a place after being forced to evacuate last minute. In my search criteria I requested only pet friendly properties. I was forced to book with eiter an automated assistant or ai assistant. I was looking for friday and saturday. I was initially told there was a room available. So i booked it. After the transaction was complete. I was told there was a problem, there were no rooms available friday night. The transaction was already complete and I couldnt undo the booking. I got frustrated with the AI system and hung up. I had to find a place to take my family. This was my first time booking with expedia. Not happy at all.

Amazing value, good service. Loved having 3 double beds and the Murphy, with two separate bathrooms and a really functional kitchen. The location cannot be beat and the valet parking is cheaper than other spots. The rooftop pool and bar offers amazing views. Only one drawback would be that the facilities are a little dated, but that's reflected in the price.

Nice hotel you can borrow kitchenware we booked a room didn’t come with kitchen. There is laundry facilities. Rooftop pool(didn’t have time to use it). You can also fill up water bottles on top floor with ice machine next to it. Over all very happy with our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Imperial Hawaii Resort. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, the location is unbeatable, and the amenities were excellent and well maintained. Everything felt thoughtfully designed for a comfortable Waikiki stay.

The only downside was the elevators breaking during our visit. Aside from that issue, our experience was very positive, and we appreciated the hospitality throughout our stay.

While the building and interior weren't exactly new, the living room and kitchen spaces were very comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The staff were all friendly and answered our questions promptly. The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and shops. We even got to see fireworks from the bar on Friday night!
