Mi experiencia fue muy mala. Al llegar al hotel intentaron cobrarme una tarifa adicional por mi hija menor de edad únicamente porque es alta y aparenta más edad. A pesar de que es una menor, insistían en cobrarla como si fuera un adulto, lo cual me pareció injusto y poco profesional.

Además, la comida fue de muy mala calidad y el trato de varios empleados fue grosero y poco amable. En lugar de ayudar a resolver la situación, solo hicieron que la experiencia fuera más incómoda.

Lo más decepcionante fue que reservé a través de Expedia y no recibí ninguna ayuda efectiva para solucionar el problema. Me sentí completamente desamparada tanto por el hotel como por la plataforma de reservas.

Definitivamente no recomendaría este hotel y no volvería a hospedarme allí.

The space itself was lovely. I absolutely love the resort itself, especially how spacious it is and the large number of pools, bars, and jacuzzis available throughout the property. I’ve stayed at this resort several times before, but on these occasions, the rooms were never particularly impressive to me. The smell of the bed sheets was not very pleasant, and I noticed some hidden broken details in the room, which was disappointing. When you pay for a good room and overall receive one, these small issues still take away from the experience.

On the other hand, the food was good, although there was not a huge variety. However, this was not really a problem for me. In addition, the staff was excellent and very attentive. I truly have no complaints about their service.

The best about this stay was the variety in their food menu. Although breakfast was simple, their lunch and dinner options were extensive. Besides the teatre, there were no other attractions/shows so it was very boring. No inside pool bar, and the other bars were far from the pools. The proporty was wheelchair accessible, but the bathroom inside the room was not.

Overwall, the property was boring, overrated and pricey.

The location itself was very nice and enjoyable, but the hospitality could definitely be improved. On several occasions when we asked for assistance, the staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful. When we requested a change of bedsheets due to visible stains, they gave a a hard time we experienced a long delay before anything was done. This unfortunately took away from what could have been a much better overall experience.

Check in was a breeze, room was ready earlier and issue with ocean view was fixed immediately. Entire hotel is outdated and although cleanliness needs to be improved (dust in vents and common area fans), it needs an entire renovation (deteriorating walls, room furniture, walkways, lounge chairs, etc.). Entertainment is subpar, be very mindful that some night entertainment is not appropriate for kids. Food is repetitive at buffet, and you have to line up before 10am to make dinner reservations at either a Mexican or Italian themed restaurant daily. (You will most likely miss dinner at either on check-in date.) Lights went out a few times and generator kicked in immediately.

Lobby staffs, unfriendly, unprofessional looks like they are overwhelmed. They are not willing to understand or work with you. We booked 2 ocean view rm w/2 beds. Were given 2 rooms with kings. That’s all they have available they said. Even they charged us for it already. They cannot do anything as we booked through Expedia and not with them. However, we can go back the next day and check with them to see if they would have a Oceanview room available with two for full-size bed. Breakfast and lunch were OK nothing to brag about bars staffs appeared to be overworked in stressed only one bartender per bar. when it comes to the ocean view, it is beautiful. overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone based on my experience, but the previous was amazing. They recommendation is for a staff members to be more customer. Focus customer friendly won’t won’t listen and work with the customers and see alternative. Don’t just rush to charge that they cannot undo the outcome of the stripped when it comes to room accommodations. We ended up one room with King side bed with ocean view even though we paid for two beds instead of one and they had a roof with just pool view with two bed they can’t un charge us for Ocean view because we already paying and that we went through Expedia.

The alcohol was horrible you couldn’t even drink any of it. We had to go out buy the alcohol at supermarket to be able to drink it. The bartenders were nice but not enough of them to be efficient for the amount of people at the resort. The system of how to make reservations for the restaurants was only on certain time and you had to get up super early to form the line. The quality of the food in restaurants were just ok editable. The food at the buffet was good choices and decent quality. The towels for the pool one was allowed to get at one location only and only for certain about time and if you lost it $15.00 to replace the towel. The resort didn’t have enough beach chairs or umbrellas for shade at the pool or beach. The pool area didn’t have swim up bar which was ok if only they had waiters by the pool to get your drinks or enough bartenders to not form such huge line just to get water or horrible drink you couldn’t even drink. Overall the place was located by the beach with beautiful view. My room was very musty and needed upgrades. The air conditioning was on and off throughout the nights. I did have a roach in my room one night.. overall experience I would not recommend or return to this resort unless the turn over to new management was to up keep the resort. The staff were friendly and polite.

The staff was amazing! The receptionists, cleaning crew, restaurant workers, etc., were all kind and helpful. Also, the location, right near the ocean, was awesome. If you enjoy being right next to the ocean, this is the place. Lastly, for being all-inclusive, I thought the food was pretty decent, not great, but decent.

On the other hand, my room was definitely dated. The shower barely had any water pressure, and the mattress was very uncomfortable when sleeping on my back or side. My preferred positions. For reference, I am 6’1 and 180 lbs.

Lastly, visitors are not allowed to see you at this hotel. Knowing the area a little, I believe that this a good rule. However, keep that in mind if you wish to see family or friends in the area.

absolutely lovely breakfasts each day during my stay. The only issue was with getting extra room towels and having my room cleaned. It was done, just a day later. Staff was lovely and helpful when the language barrier was not so prevalent. Overall, I would return again, not too big of a resort that you get lost, yet still seems spread out~

I Love this place outside the room but that's how it has been for the 24 years I have been going! I hope it would have gotten better but they don't care because there was not one empty room in the place because of the Canadian omission from Cuba. I was sad service was lacking. Too many people and getting a glass of water with your meal was a project. The restaurant reservations unless you were on line by 8 am scoring a spot at a reasonable time was not possible. The buffet was good as usual for all inclusive. The grounds are beautiful and the pools and bars are great. The rooms like I said well... No hot water for 5 of 6 days. Zero water pressure it trickled on you. No one cared. Air Conditioning said 20 degrees but slept sweating with no blankets every night. They came to room and show you it said 20 but it should be freezing if that was true. Asked to have sheets changed due to bites all over our bodies never done. 2 nice housekeepers came a midnight to help us out on a request we asked for at 2pm. Still itching 😩. No security lock on front door. No live TV had to use apps. The free Internet was good for all those people. Safe was free now which was great. Access to my favorite beach was through Select Area. Green flag almost every day was awesome. No beach chairs even with Chair police who were useless.They allowed towels with no bodies for long hours. Beach towels cheap now and always damp. The rooms need TLC and more beach chairs a must & Ceiling fans a must.

I booked a stay at Casa Marina Sosua expecting a relaxing vacation, but it turned out to be a very disappointing experience.

From the moment we arrived, there were serious issues. When we entered the room, there were what appeared to be blood stains in the bathroom and near the hallway entrance. On top of that, the shower was in poor condition—the shower head was loose and fell while I was using it.

The food situation was equally bad. We tried both the reservation-based restaurants and the buffet, and the quality was extremely poor. The meat, in particular, tasted heavily processed—similar to canned hot dogs—and overall, the food felt unappetizing and poorly prepared. Even the drinks were disappointing—they tasted like watered-down concentrated juice, with excessive dilution that made them flavorless.

Customer service was also lacking. Most staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, which made the experience even more frustrating. The only positive interactions we had were with the receptionist and a supervisor who genuinely tried to assist us.

The one highlight of the property is the view—it’s absolutely beautiful, and we truly wanted to enjoy our stay. However, the overall conditions and service made that impossible. Fortunately, we contacted Expedia, and they were able to relocate us to another resort.

Overall, I would not recommend staying here based on our experience.

It’s worth cost we paid. Friendly staff, low key, the property is situated in the town. It was easy to go out and walk around …no hassle. Lots of positives. Negatives.. it’s probably better bringing your own towels for the pool, making reservations can be a hassle, depends on who you talk to at the front you receive little information on what activities and stuff is offered. The owness is left to visitor to find out. Food is okay. Jacuzzi was advertised as amenities but this is not so.

Cons:
when you arrive -there is no introduction at the front desk, they dont give you any information where everything is, what time dining and intertainment starts. Very incompetent.

Expect only 1 key per room. They dont care if you have 4 people in a room.

The highly advertised jacuzzi on the reef - out of three, only one worked.

If your room is on the 3rd or 4th floor - they expect you to take your own luggage up there, i had to find a guy who works there to help me, but non of this was suggested by staff. I saw many guests lifting up their own luggage up the stairs.

Do not shower from 5-6pm - there is no hot water.

Expect 45-60 minute wait time to make a resevation to their restaurants. You will stand in a long line. Only One person taking reservation for about 100 people. You cannot make reservation for the whole week. REDICULOUS!

If you made a reservation to seafood or mexican restaurant - be prepared to wait for your food to be ready in 45 min to 1 hour. There is only 1 cook, who makes food on one frying pan.

There is very little light outside so at night be careful walking, i had to literally look down as i walked. Pavement is very bad and uneven and if you are bringing a walker - be extra careful.

They dont have pool towels for everyone. Sometimes the wait for fresh towels was a a couple of hours. INSANE! We had to reuse same towels sometimes for two days.

Room was regular for an all inclusive. It took several hours for us to learn how to use room key to turn power on in the room, 3 trips to the concierge to report. Food was less than attractive and line up for daily al a carte was a bit much, ended up eating in Sosua for most meals. Weather and Beach was beautiful, but wont be back to this location again.

My partner was skeptical about this place because people speak very negative about the service but we did the reservation with the black Friday sales to give it a shot and it was good, not great but good. We got a ocean view room, food in general was alright but the la carte Mexican restaurant was delicious. Staff was kind. karaoke and club was a whole vibe. We did enjoy it, specially with the pricing.

As a recurring customer I would say that they can do better with the food, having better meals will defenilly make this beautiful, well located resort much better. At my last stay I did not have a good impression at the counter when checking in. the lady behind the desk wasn't friendly., I understand the local customers (Dominican as myself) can be annoying and demanding as the reputation we create by being happy, exaggerating happpy unfortunately. BUT, that's how we stand out and get loved all over the world except in our own country by our own people, confusing, I'll say since you (the staff) from management to counter clerk, janitor or whatever duties you get assigned. You must behave and treat the customer with attention and respect, otherwise it'll feel discrimination. in general speaking.
