Thai people were great, would not go back to area. Non-Thai people were terribly rude and just seemed unhappy. They were old men who went there to drink and die. Planning on a Thai trip but nowhere near this area

Good location

Hotel is in a great location. Easy access to lots of restaurants at north end of Jomtien. Baht bus to Pattaya half a block away. Property is showing its age a bit but a comfortable enough stay.

It has been only a bit over a week since my return from Jomtien Beach and the Incredible Staff of the Thani Hotel. With great leadership expressed by Management and seen by the entire team in how they create such amazing Hospitality. I felt like a king by the reception of my second visit, such that they gave me my previous great room. It was my second stay with the Property and I can only say that my Heart is Empty for not being back in Jomtien at this very moment. Stay with these Wonderful Folks on your next visit and see for yourselves, I trust you will be Happy as I am.

So happy I chose this property for my stay. Everything and I mean everything was just perfect. The staff was above and beyond, what I call giving \"second level service\" at every chance. So helpful, great rates, super attentive, just so nice, breakfast was plentiful so include it in your package as it is normally included and worth it for your stay, you can always try breakfast outside the property. Super, super place and will be staying again upon my next visit for sure. Thank you Thani Crew.

Excellent hotel with a large and rather characterful lobby. Spacious room, very clean and comfortable, with all the expected facilities. A great seaview from the room, and a small balcony. Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointing.

The hotel is probably 40-50 years old, the room furniture needs a modern update. The pool deck was very dirty the wood deck was full of dust. The pool water was clean and was a good size L-Shape ! The check in service was delayed even though we arrived after the 2pm check in. The hotel just re-opened after COVID-19 and the facilities were closed and the cleaning staff were not suffucient for the 246 rooms.

Only a one night stay. Room and bathroom were clean. TV signal poor. Kettle and water provided but no coffee, tea etc. No balcony furniture. Reasonable breakfast. Hotel suffering, like many others, from a lack of tourists. Overall OK for a one night stay.

Location is great & clean with nice staff.
What goes against it are that the rooms are tired & A/C barely holds its own.
The pool is as crystal clear as I've seen, but let down by the insufficient numbers of sunbeds for such a large hotel.
Breakfast was pretty plain, but enough of it and prepered well.

Good value for money. Jomtien Thani Hotel has maintained its good standard. In October 2019 I stayed at the Jomtien Thani again for three weeks. I booked my flight and hotel via Ebookers. 21 nights at the hotel including breakfast cost 625.43 euros. That's 29.78 euros a night. Pool side room 7005 overlooking the Gulf of Siam. Standard amenities. Everything works. Excellent friendly staff. A good buffet breakfast is mostly Asian, but ham and bacon can be ordered for free. Hotel location is very good. Close to beach, market square, small shops, bars, restaurants, pharmacies and Chonburi Immigration Services.

Dreadful dated hotel

I checked into the most expensive room in the hotel. Was taken to the room expecting a plush room. It wasn’t. The room was basic. The decor dated and the bathroom not fit for purpose. It looked like the last time it had been decorated was the 1970’s.
The aircon was poor and the foyer of the hotel wasn’t air conditioned.
I decided to move to a different hotel after 20 minutes. That’s how bad it was!!

Dominated by loud Chinese but obvious value

Building being renovated. New construction of a building on the back side of the hotel. Extremely loud and annoying Chinese tourists that leave their doors open and shout down the halls to each other. These Chinese tourists slam their doors as hard as they can. The elevators are never wiped down. However, this hotel is great value for money if you return to the hotel late and stay for the free breakfast if you can catch this deal. The decor is very dated. The lobby is only air conditioned late at night. There is a raised entry to the bathroom area that you may hurt your toes on.

Unpleasant staff

It was an unpleasant service, period. You get what you pay for. Room was Ok and clean with a nice view. AC at the room very laud and luckily it was cool enough to have window open. The place have some authentic feel to it but impression that everyone who works there are unhappy. It was loaded with tourists buses and breakfast not only the worst yet; staff unpleasant even rude. There are sure many other options around the area.

Bars and resturants within 5 mins walk.

Only other problem is noise / disturbance from coach parties arriving/ leaving early and late which if you have been out for the night is not good

I just needed a room for the night to meet up with a friend. I drove from Bangkok and found the parking easy and spacious. I had just picked a promotional room( about 1000 baht after tax etc) and was delighted I was upgraded to a room with a nice balcony and great view of the sea. The room was older with some wear but clean . The bathroom had a shower tub. Water was nice and warm but if you have mobility issues it might be a challenge getting in and out. The restaraunt for dinner had a nice menu section in English and the food good and not expensive. The breakfast buffet was 150 baht per person and has a nice selection. Easy access to the beach and surrounding bars. Overall , I was very happy with the stay. I would recommend to anyone who is not too picky and looking for an inexpensive , clean, and convenient place to stay.

Great location even if I was off season and this was great as it was quiet. Staff fantastic friendly as always and great accomodation.

Gimme Some Soap, and Where's My Coffee?

No hand soap in bathroom -- maid says we are supposed to use liquid soap dispenser in shower. Does the owner of this hotel reach in the shower at his estate to get soap when he wants to wash his hands at the bathroom sink? Come on, this hotel charges 3,400 baht for a single double room, yet they are too greedy to give occupant a small bar of hand soap?! And no shampoo, nor a single other toiletry amenity. No tissues in room until I walked to maid station and requested, and one smallish role of toilet paper. No coffee or tea provided in room. Best part of this hotel is the lobby, which is classic and wonderful. But the customer needs to be treated with more consideration in terms of in-room provisions. Room itself okay, but rather hodge-podge in decor. But a coffee-maker and coffee would work wonders in distracting attention from room decor, as would a small bar of soap like every other hotel in the world provides.

NEVER AGAIN!..Mainly a hotel for Chinese tours.

-hotel is overpriced, showing its age and badly needs a complete redo.
-1st room I was given smelt so terrible as if someone had died in it I demanded a room change. 2nd room (non smoking) but smelt of stale cigarette and cigar.
-breakfast from 6-10.. went down at 730 and most of the western food offerings (minimal at best)were gone. .only a few asian dishes and toast to choose from..this is due to the fact that the hotel mainly caters to the Chinese tour companies which depart early.
-1st night there was 17 tours buses checked in (do the math)..2nd night.there was 14 buses arrive....imagine the chaos and noise in the morning for breakfast...so disappointing.
-the buses depart between 8 and 10.. thankfully I was only booked 2 nights.
-no apologies here..Chinese tourists are extremely noisy,rude and do not have any respect for other people at night (I had to speak to them myself) or in the morning.. so be prepared to be up early.
-pool is refreshing but needs a complete upgrade.
-pool is in direct sun all day and there is little to no shade at pool accept for umbrellas which do not do the job blocking the intense sun..
there is a small covered gazebo that can take 4 beds and that's the best shade available if you can get it.
-kettle to boil water but no coffee mugs
-nothing extra in the room but daily water..no full bar frig..nothing ( I can only assume that is a result of the volume of tours they are serving.

A good price . I fly from france with my family , to bkk and drive from bkk to Jomtien thani hotel.
When we arrived on accueil from the hotel they said sorry is full but wait they look. after this they wants to know i order what web site . how much money i give . They said they don't know about web site ratestogo. i need to cancel. After 1hour wait with my 3 childs and family they give us a room ....
If they not want sell by ratestogo , they must cancel it and not do family's wait i front acueil.

This hotel has seen better days, it needs a bit more attention from the management and staff. On the first d a y the staff where hard to find, it picked up on the second day. The bar at the pool was manned by one person who had to go down stairs to get the iced drinks because they only had bottles behind the bar, so the bar was unoccupied for some of the time.

For the price this place is amazing.

We had an excellent ocean view.

The staff were great and even though we booked the wrong day they sorted it out and got us in easily.

There was an nice pool for our toddler which he loved.
An easy walk to the beach and many restaurants. Also a night food market at the other end of the soi.

Have stayed here before. For me the attraction is the pool for exercise. Hotel is old and not everything works. Room safe is on the small side, just managed to squeeze in my 13in laptop. Reception staff seemed indifferent, room cleaners friendly. Restaurant seemed expensive so ate elsewhere. Had major problems with the wifi which were not evident at other hotels. Seemed to be a conflict between my setup and the wifi server which made access run slow and not able to send emails. I would possibly stay again but depends on price and what else is on offer.

Nice pool area, nice lobby but.....

Rooms and balcony very small, and ad breakfast. I suspecting this hotel is more oriented against the russians. Russian signs and menus. The hotels looks very nice from the lobby area, but the rooms are very old and worn. Time for new towels too. The location of the hotel is good if you want to stay in Jomtien, close to the beach and they have a nice pool area with sunbeds, big pool and kids pool.

I feel very disappoint with this hotel. The room is very very old and not clean. I don't feel comfortable. I stay only one night. Before i stay here I stay at Best western premier signature pattaya hotel for one night. I feel very impress with this hotel. It's very clean and modern style and staff is very friendly. When i check out from Best western premier signature pattaya hotel they offer free shuttle service to go Jomtien beach but the hotel does not know where is Jomtien thani hotel location so they call taxi and pay for taxi driver 150 baht to send me to Jomtien thani hotel. They are so nice and very friendly. They also upgrade room for me free with no cost even i book hotel price only 400 baht per night to size bigger room and very nice. I would return to Best western premier signature pattaya hotel again for sure even next time I can not get this price or i don't get upgrade room but i still want to stay in Best western premier signature pattaya hotel again.

Das jomtien thani ist momentan noch teilweise in Reparatur. Pool sehr gut. Frühstück vielseitig. Leider wurde mir der zutritt zur Toilette einen Tag später nach dem ausschecken verwehrt. Das war für mich sehr ärgerlich..ich war unerwünscht

De accommodatie heeft een uitstekende ligging halverwege Soi(straat) 5. Het strand ligt op enkele minuten lopen. Ook de songthaew (Ov) is op loopafstand. Op dit moment wordt het zwembad en de fitness ruimte verbouwd en zijn buiten gebruik. Hierdoor betaalde ik minder dan gebruikelijk. De kamers zijn vorig jaar volledig gemoderniseerd. Dit heb ik als zeer prettig en comfortabel ervaren. Ik had een kamer aan de achterzijde met uitzicht landinwaarts. Je hebt ook kamers met zeezicht, wel bestaat de kans op geluidsoverlast van het verkeer en de bars en ze zijn duurder. Het ontbijtbuffet vond ik zeer uitgebreid en het personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Afhankelijk van de prijs zou ik in de toekomst zeker weer weer boeken bij dit hotel.

Helt topp to ukers opphold, stille rolig område. Balkong ble sjelden vasket, ergo måtte jeg ha et håndklede på gulvet til å tørke av bena, var liksom ikke det en skulle bruke hånkledene til.. Basseng område litt slitt, vedlikehold litt avslappet, bortsett fra det var alt prima. Maten knallgod!

Vi er godt fornøyd med oppholdet. Rommet var litt slitt, men alt fungerte bra. Litt problemer med safety box første dagen, men dette ble ordnet. Slitte solsenger og parasoller ved bassenget. Frokosten var meget bra med ypperlig service. Beliggenheten var perfekt i forhold til stranden og restauranter.

모든직원들이 친절합니다. 호텔이 오래되었다고 나쁜건 없고, 아침조식때마다 지저귀는 새소리도 좋습니다. 조식을 포함한 숙박비는 새호텔에 비해서도 결코 서비스가 뒤쳐지지않습니다. 조용하고 아늑하고 좀티엔해변도 가깝고, 호텔앞 타이마사지샵도 좋고, 해변도로도 좀티엔 세컨로드도 다 가까워서 좋습니다. 결코 오래된 호텔이라고 무시하면 안됩니다. 좀티엔에서 묵었었던 레지던스,다른 좋은호텔보다도 저를 더 마음편하게 쉬게 해줬습니다

Stort hotell med bra läge som tyvärr har sett sina bästa dagar.Rummen var väldigt dåligt städade och på det ena av våra rum så hade dom inte bytat lakan sen förra gästen utan bara bäddat till igen.

Price / Performance ratio is pretty hard to beat!

A fantastic hotel for its pricing. The location is wonderful. Not too close to the beach to minimize the noise, but still 1-2 minutes walk to get there. The room is large with cooling AC, super fast Wifi, great mini fridge, bathtub, small ocean view from the clean balcony and perhaps the most important feature of them all, a very, very comfy bed and perfect balanced pillow. Basically, I could not find anything to criticize on due to the very decent pricing. Well, perhaps, the water in the pool was a bit unclear, but that was ok because of, again the great pricing strategy by the hotel management. I warmly, and whole heartedly, recommend this establishment to all people who visits Pattaya.

Fra utsiden er det et ryddig hotel, men inne er det et slitent hotell, både bad og rom trenger oppgradering og opp pussing.
Frokosten hadde godt utvalg i thai mat, men som pålegg til skive var det speilegg, varm skinke fra vannbad og et søtt syltetøy, Spurte etter omelett og bacon, men det hadde de ikke
