We had the corner suite room with 3 balconies, all with clear unobstructed view of beach, ocean, and sunset. Luckily hotel is not tall because it is older building with no elevator. Room was clean and comfortable if a bit outdated. I didn’t use the TV but it looked to be a Samsung smart tv. Unfortunately the air conditioners (2) were not controllable with provided remotes. Living room was stuck at 25c and bedroom was stuck at 20c. Very cold sleeping. Also the hairdryer burned out the first time my wife turned it on.
Important to note that the \"free parking\" is actually first come beach parking and not dedicated to hotel so if driving in you need to be \"lucky\" to find a close spot to park. The entrance is through an active beer bar/nightclub of same name. That caught us off guard but wasn't too bad except a bit noisy if you're an early sleeper.
All in all it was a decent place to stay for the price and the view location.

5-Star Hotel/Bar/Restaurant Best staff in Jomtien!

I always love my stays at Happy Vikings.!
The staff really do make this place. Cleaning, Kitchen, Bar/Restaurant... they are all friendly and helpful with a genuine smile.
You don't have to be Scandanavian to stay here. You may meet a few in the bar restaurant, but everyone is friendly, and i have never had any problems with guests or visitors. A very safe place...everyone sets a decent ocean view vibe and chills the day away.
Rooms are cleaned daily, and this particular room was my favourite (102)... Not small, but not too big, with morning views of the Gulf from your bed! The rooms have been recently renovated, including the bathrooms. Always a decent hot shower.

Budget hotel down a side street

So the rooms are very modern and appear to be done recently . The hotel is down a small lane and away from the noise and a short walk is required t get to it .rooms have don't have views and are simply appointed but when u compare price and value they are favourable .U have to pay 500 deposit for the key in cash .

Would not bother. Restaurant below plays music EVERY night. I am older and go to bed early. To the drum of the noise that travels through the whole place. Girls in yhe Restaurant are helpful but geared to a restaurant not a motel. Only place i know in Thailand that has a 3.00 checkin and an 11.00 out.

We booked the King Suite at this property at the very last minute based on location and price, of which we had some regrets. Arrived early and property were very accommodating in allowing us to check in early as soon room became available. Staff were friendly, but she had to multitask bartending and checking us in at the same time. Swedish owner/manager helped, and was welcoming. Room was spacious and AC worked great. Bathroom functional but mold/mildew everywhere. Shower curtain was black at the bottom from mold. They don't have a true baggage service, but rather offered to leave it by the counter, neither locked or actively supervised. I wasn't expecting much when booking this property, but truly wished cleanliness was one of their top priority. Chose not to eat or drink there as could not trust the sanitary practice, but then again, it's Jomtien beach front for less than $50. What was I thinking...?

Great place! I stayed.there few nights. Large clean room, nice staff, 20 meters to the beach. Great food as well as cheap draft beer (carlsberg and Heineken). Definitely rec

pounding electronic dance music

its 4 am and the electronic dance music has been pounding for 12 hours now from the room next door . no chance of any sleep.will leave early even though I have paid for another night .

We arrived at 11PM. Got shown to room. Complained soon after that the room was not what we booked and that the photos looked totally different to the room we booked. The staff told us that they can't help, talk to the boss in the morning.
In addition to the room stinking of cigarette smoke, the entire place had a smoking smell as you entered and went up the stairs. Clearly the non-smoking part is not enforced.
We had no choice but to stay as we had paid already and did not want to get another room so late at night. Don't fall for the same scam - the pictures are not at all what the actual room is like.

Dejligt hotel på Beach Road, altan mod stranden. Gode faciliteter og rent.
Venligt personale og god service.
Lidt larm fra bandet indtil klokken 12-1 om natten, men det må man tage med.
Vender gerne tilbage igen.

Var en fin første natt, men ville ha det litt bedere så vi gikk videre. Litt harde senger og trapper opp alle etg med store kofferter. Hyggelige folk som jobbet der, fikk flott utsikt mot stranden.

Bra, läge. Ljud från pub och gata.

Väldigt bra läge. Stranden ligger rakt över vägen. Rymlig lägenhet. Ingen hiss på hotellet. På kvällarna spelar ett litet band i puben på första våningen. Ok, om man gillar hög musik fram till 23 till balkongen. Upplevs annars som störigt. Trafikljud från gatan utanför.

Great view, convenient, but no elevator

Terrific property, right on the sea. The balcony and lounge on the sea are wonderful. The hotel is well located, with 24-hour access to everything you need. But hotels at this price point must at least have an elevator. So, if you are travelling with a lot of luggage, this might not be your place. The hotel staff won't be able to help you much as there are no dedicated hotel staff really, they all primarily work for the restaurant downstairs. The hotel does sometime feel like an afterthought. A lot more could be done to improve the hotel ecperirce

Jeg bestillte en \"suite\", lenge siden dette var en suite.
Så nedslitt, et gammelt skap hvor klær til to skulle være, ingen hengere, ingen knagger eller hyller.
Badet hadde sopp i dusjen så møkkete ut, ikke lett å holdet rent for betjeningen, som var veldig hyggelige.

Utan el en eftermiddag, utan vatten nästa morgon. De hade inte betalat vattenräkningen. Ibland fick vi två badlakan ibland ett. Tydligen hade de inte tillräckligt med handdukar så de kunde ge nytt innan tvätten kom. Det behövs nytt tänk om de ska få nya gäster.

Valde Vickan's Guesthouse helt osett för det geografiska läget. Med tanke på den absoluta närheten till stranden och havet. Fick ett varmt mottagande av ägare och den underbara personalen. Kände mig verkligen välkommen. Mina 23 nätter här levde verkligen upp till högt över mina förväntningar. Städning av rummet, handdukar, schampo och bäddad säng var dag. Vickan's guesthouse har dessutom ett restaurangkök med maträtter i toppklass. Allt ifrån frukost, thaimat, riktig pizza till plankstek och lax.
Varm mysig atmosfär i den öppna baren. Där kan man avnjuta en kall fatöl eller cocktail när blickar ut över en livlig beachroad. Alla tänkbara nöjen alldeles runt hörnet. Marknader, gym, barer och restauranger.
- Kan verkligen rekommendera en semester vistelse här. Jag läntar redan tillbaka.

Fantastisk beliggenhet på Jomtien Beach

Kjempehyggelig betjening på hotellet som ligger på beste plassering på Jomtien Beach. Rent og ordentlig. Betal noen kroner ekstra for sjøutsikt, og du er midt i hjertet av det som skjer. 10 meter så er du på stranden
