Every single staff member was welcoming, friendly and provided excellent service, Julian, Gabriel, Maria, Arnault, Luna, Nicolas, Francois mgr, valet, concierge, restaurant etc - nice quiet town, aside from being unable to swim in ocean first few days; the staff & facility (pool helped) more than made up for the inability to swim in ocean which had unfortunate overflow from stadium toilet.

Great stay - but woken by delivery every morning

The stay was absolutely amazing, very attentive staff and beautiful views from the restaurant/ swimming pool. However if you book a ‘city view’ room and you’re on the first floor, prepare to be woken up every morning at 06:30 by the towel/sheet delivery out the front of the hotel. Full disclosure, we complained and were offered to swap rooms if we moved everything by 12pm, but we had one night left and had booked a trip out so didn’t have time to move everything.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. The staff was fantastic, the room was comfortable and the spa was outstanding. The beach is beautiful and easy to access. We really enjoyed being able to swim in the pool at night too.
The restaurant, Lumière, was sadly not worth a visit. The food was surprisingly bland and overpriced. Drinks at the bar were well made and they have a nice whiskey selection.

My husband and I are American and stayed here for 6 nights. In my opinion this hotel would be a 3-star hotel in the US and not 5-star like it is listed. Most of the guests seemed to be other French people on vacation and not a lot of tourists. The room was small and upon arrival the staff came up and into our room with us which was a little strange. The staff also told us breakfast was included and upon checking out they charged us 32 Euros each for each day of breakfast and wouldn’t make any accommodations to fix their error even though we were told in French and English that it was included! We were pretty upset by this and felt as though we were kind of ‘tricked’ by the staff. The pool area is nice and has a great view but very limited deck space and chairs. We used the gym too and that was adequate but only 2 people could really comfortably work out in there at the same time. The location is great for walking to shops and restaurants and we highly recommend the restaurant at the Casino (just bring your passports for them to let you in). Our stay was nice, but we just had some frustrations with the limited space and the staff. Valet parking however was very convenient and helpful in that area especially mid day when there’s no where to park! I don’t think we would stay here again, but it was definitely an elegant place just small.

Beautiful hotel situated overlooking Bandol harbour on one side and the bay and beach on the other. There are excellent spa facilities as well as indoor and outdoor heated pools. The staff are very helpful and speak English as well as French. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

The whole stay felt very flat

Not obvious there was a valet which on a one-way street was a pain going back and forth when we could access the parking. Our greeting was very cold. Given vouchers at reception for the spa despite it already being full, there was no advance warning we had to book the spa 2 weeks in advance. We were told Breakfast was 30€ and so didn’t take it only to find after our stay that it was already included (couldnt find this info on the hotels.com app while we were there). Staff were friendly but not forthcoming with information it took a lot of questions to get answers. Reception advised on check in they were booking a table for us at the restaurant but when we arrived no such booking had been made and we were advised they weren’t sure they could find us a table. Not the service and experience we were hoping for for our honeymoon and we will no doubt redo our honeymoon for this reason. Lovely hotel but when we presented our concerns to the staff we were only met with excuses and reasons why nothing was their fault. This could really be a fantastic place with the right training. Service and food in both restaurants was excellent however and the spa area is nice although it should have an age limit as we didnt enjoy the kids swimming over the top of us whilst trying to enjoy the hydrothérapies.

Comfortable room with a great balcony and view. The breakfast was excellent and the communal areas of the hotel were well kept with a luxurious modern feel. Sometimes some of the items in the room were forgotten and not replenished on odd days but otherwise I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel- spa is lovely, make sure to book treatments ahead of your stay as their schedule was not very open a couple days before. Indoor sea water pool/jacuzzi was great as were the treatment rooms. Fitness center is very small, no dumbells, just a few machines, but we were really there for the spa. The room was gorgeous with a beautiful sea view. Room was quiet and very comfortable. The hotel is also a 5 minute walk from town.

Amazing hotel with incredible sea views

Excellent hotel. One of the best we have ever stayed in. I would definitely recommend paying extra and getting a sea view room. It is stunning. The spa is also well worth a visit and you are only a few minutes walk from the Bandol marina with all of its cafes and restaurants. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer!

Beauty in Bandol

Unassuming exterior belies modern and chic interior. Must get room overlooking the bay, called a seaview room. We had a seaview room directly overlooking the pool and the Anse de Renecros.

Be sure to make it down to the resto for breakfast on the deck as its a great start to the day. We also enjoyed a seaside hike that starts on the beach in front of the hotel and continues west for a few klms.

One of the most wonderful hotel stays I've had recently - a definitely highlight to our recent trip. Staff was wonderful - always went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our stay and had what we needed. Our room was gorgeous. Typically I have little attention for my room but ours was so decadent and beautiful that it was a true competition for the pool and beach. Pool was very nice - we enjoyed both the regular chairs and the ones in the pool. Beach was also comfortable with a private area for hotel patrons with chairs and service attendants. The restaurant (\"regular\" restaurant - not the beach one) was phenomenal. Pricey (of course) - but well worht the splurge. Breakfast was good if as expected - typical hotel continental fare with some options for extras that we didn't try. Views were amazing. Internet worked great. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful area, beach and hot tub spectacular. Great dining as well. They did not have the reservation from Hotel.com, but straightened it out after 30 minutes. Only downfall would be, like many European hotels, the air conditioner could be better, but you can lock down the windows with a drop down metal shutter to neutralize some of the heat of the day. Would like to go back again.

A very good hotel in many respects but not 5 star accommodation. Excellent spa facilities and pools. The bathrooms - especially the very small toilet - need uprating. We were told that they were going to be uprated next year. Wonderful sea views from our room and excellent staff. Breakfast very expensive ( Continental is 25 euros per person ). Very impressive lobby and bar areas.Very near to town centre.

Stylish, swank hotel in Bandol

We found this hotel after friends suggested we visit Bandol during our France trip to the south. And the hotel didn't disappoint at all. The staff is really friendly and helpful from check in to ordering drinks at the bar. The grounds are really impressive -- the pool area is really nice, the spa area is clean and offer incredible treatments, and the rooms are very comfortable and relaxing. We had a 3rd floor room, so we had nice views as well. In addition, the location is great -- it's only 5-10 minutes from the main Bandol restaurant and market area. We loved Ile Rousse and hope to be back!

We were welcomed by friendly staff who took us on a short round of the hotel. Rooms were reasonably comfortable with good air conditioning and free wi-fi. Good breakfast on a nice terrace with sea view. Beach nearby very crowded in high season and the sea was not very clean. Difficult to get sunbeds and parasols unless you come very early. Sea water in the hotel swimming very salty and not pleasant to swim in. Hotel is a short walk from Main Street with a wide choice of restaurants and caffes. Tennis courts far from the hotel at a local club charged €16/hour. Overall a nice place to stay in but not a five stars experience.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Ile Rousse Hotel. The pool and beach were lovely and very convenient.
The view from the restaurant was superb and a great place for breakfast and dinner.
The room was very comfortable with all facilities, very comfortable bed and lovely pillows, bed linen and towels. However the room did need redecoration and the bathroom needed refurbishment, although this did not detract from the comfort of the room. All public areas were very well maintained and stylish.
All staff were very helpful and friendly.
Very convenient location with restaurants and shops close by. The train station was convenient for travel to many nearby villages, towns and Marseilles.
Breakfast very good although 26Euros.

Breathtaking foyer entrance

Ile Rousse Hotel was a worthwhile overnight on our tour through Provence. The location in Bandol is slightly off the beaten path and the entrance experience is worth the stay! With endless pool and background of the bay, availability to walk on the beach and swim in the Mediterranean, and dine overlooking the amazing view, it is definitely a place I would return to. Suggestion would be to stay on the bay side as our room air conditioner was noisy and necessary on the street side of the hotel so our night was not as comfortable as it could have been. We dined at the restaurant, and while the service was impeccable, the wine list amazing, the staff tres gentile, the entrees were disappointing having just experienced the cuisine at Hostellerie Berard. All in all it is a place to include and considering the location, the staff, and the foyer, I was not troubled by the rate for the stay. Stowe, Vermont

The service was charming, from the arrival at the entrance to the welcome at reception to the restaurant staff. The view from the room over the bay was stunning. The breakfast was very expensive, but maybe you pay for the view. Scrambled eggs weren't nice at all. The evening meals were good, beautifully presented.

Close to the centre and overlooking the sea, the hotel Ile Rousse is modern , clean and stylish. My room was large and comfortable. However, the service provided by the staff was sometimes patchy amounting to unhelpful and almost surly on a few memorable occasions. I left firmly of the opinion I would not return there.

Cocktails excellents et bon restaurant de plage. Les - : la suite 4 mériterait un petit rafraîchissement ( moquette abîmée par le canapé-lit, dernière marche de l’escalier qui fait du bruit…). Dès l'arrivée, le dépaysement est immédiat ! la vue en 3 plans, lobby, piscine et mer est là pour un effet Waouh garanti. L'équipement est complet, mais parfois un peu fatigué (petits carreaux manquants dans le spa, mousse des transats un peu affaissée, immense baignoire à enjamber, et vasque à lame d'eau ne laissant pas de place pour poser ses affaires. En revanche l'ensemble des personnels a vraiment à coeur de rendre votre séjour très agréable et c'est réussi.

Hôtel en tant que tel est beau cependant beaucoup de choses à améliorer. Tout d’abord, le service est médiocre. Nous sommes restés 3 heures à la piscine et personne n’est venu nous voir pour commander quelque chose à boire. De plus, nous avons reçu notre commande du room service plus de 1:15 après la commande et c’était que deux petites entrées. Nous avons trouvé cela ridicule de devoir payer 40 euro le stationnement ainsi que 35 euro pour un transat à la plage. Lorsque nous payons un prix aussi élevé pour les chambres, un transat devrait être inclus voyons…

Très bel hotel

L'hotel est tres bien situé à proximité immédiate du port de Bandol, de ses commerces et restaurant.
Au calme, vous apprecierez une tres belle vue mer.
Les chambres sont assez spacieuses et bien equipees.
Le personnel est adorable et vraiment attentifs aux besoins de ses clients

En dehors du restaurant etoilé l'offre reste limitée,mais Bandol n'est pas loin.

L'hotel est magnifique, très bien placé (très belle vue sur la mer et la plage est vraiment super pour nager). La piscine d'eau de mer est superbe avec également une vue magnifique ; et les massages au SPA sont parfaits. Nous avions une chambre vue mer : vraiment superbe ! Le petit déjeuner est parfait (très bon, beaucoup de choix) et nous avons pris un diner au restaurant étoilé : c'était extraordinaire ! Nous avons choisi le menu en 7 services : un vrai voyage culinaire ! Nous étions en plus parfaitement placé : la vue est magnifique. Nous avons adoré ce diner en amoureux ! Merci !

Wir kommen schon etliche Jahre und freuen uns immer wieder. Die Lage ist einzigartig, an der Bucht mit vorliegendem Strand und Liegestühlen, welche man allerdings rechtzeitig reservieren muss und kostenpflichtig sind. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, allerdings ist beim Frühstückspersonal noch Luft nach oben. Zeitweise musste man den Kaffee und Tee mehrfach bestellen und bis zu 30 Minuten warten, bis er kam. aber was solls, man hat ja Urlaub.
Mangelhaft war allerdings, dass kein einziger deutscher Fernsehsender zu empfangen war. Das ist echt seltsam, da all die vergangenen Jahre dies möglich war. mit der heutigen Technik ist das sicherlich auch kein Problem diesem Mangel abzuhelfen.

Fabuleux, suite d’exception qui mérite son nom ! Vue magnifique, espace, service, calme tout est superbe
