The hotel is in a beautiful position but is generally in need of a tidy up. Bathrooms are nice but tired, the pool area needs a clean, leaves all over the floor, mattresses by pool have no pillows attached just the velcro where they should be. The mattresses need cleaning. The tables need wiping. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The room we booked was a superior sea view and most of our view was of an olive tree. the balcony overlooks a staff area, 5/6 tables left there, light flickers all night, untidy and a general chatting, smoking area. The location to the beach is great and the beds were super comfortable, nice size room. Nice place just a little tired.

Very average 4 star hotel, albeit great pool

Our stay, and overall review, is very mixed.

Pros: Exceptionally kind staff, lovely pool area, a
room with a generous terrace and spacious bathroom, welcome underground parking in the hot summer months.

Cons: The finishings of the property are more indicative of a three star, rather than a four star, hotel (issues with the air conditioner, WiFi, phone, etc). Small and minimalist rooms (cheap decor, lacking charm). The beach is public (and very crowded) which one would not ascertain from the misleading photos on the website. If this hotel was not situated directly on the beach, in this region, it is doubtful one could charge these rates, as well as rate it as a four star property. Limited vegetarian options on the menu and not enough staff serving the pool area (lengthy delays). Towel tokens for the pool, which is uncommon for a ‘luxury’ property. Our standards and expectations for a four star hotel are higher, while noting this does differ across countries.

Overall, the hotel meets basic needs, but does not stand out or impress in terms of infrastructure or amenities, with the exception of the staff who were kind, and doing their very best.

Lovely hotel steps from the sea.

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. With its picturesque location right on the sea to its warm friendly staff it really made our winter stay special. We changed rooms to a suite mid stay, (which was spectacular) and the front desk moved our luggage for us even going as far as to arrange some flowers I had previously bought into a vase in the room. Great staff and lovely hotel will absolutely have us coming back one day.

The suite was amazing and very quiet. I have paid quite a lot for it and I think it was worth it.

Nevertheless, despite a high price, you have to pay for everything else: breakfast (18 euros/person, SPA, cotails are very expensive...)

I have been to a similar hotel where everything was included for a similar price. In that case, it seems that I was travelling for a low-cost airline

The hotel itself is a lovely building and rooms are really nice and modern.
The staff seriously need some training though. It felt like they had just opened and we not ready for it. Breakfast is a shambles. Was told it was included on arrival and it finished at 10.30. We went at 10.15 and there was nothing but a muffin and some scraps of cold scrambled eggs left. Then on check out they tried to charge us £18 each for this. Overall though, i enjoyed the room and would consider going back, just wouldn’t take breakfast.

Rude reception ‘manager’ the trainee was efficient and helpful. Speaking English is not an option for this 4 star! Restaurant and food fine, sauna nice. Our 2 Junior suites (we had to move) were nice, spacious, clean with a beautiful sea view. Not easy to find and to park but someone is here to help you with the car. Hotel a bit too remote. Nice but small pool. Heating and hairdryer not working, nothing has been fixed, the rains hower was hanging out from the wall. It would be wise that they check and fix everything during the winter period to be ready for the season., especially in mid May. Overpriced (350 usd per night) and you expect much more from a 4 star.

My stay here was exceptional! The hotel has everything you could want, plus a spa and a great restaurant. The entire staff was friendly and professional. The view was phenomenal and had access to a nice little beach. I stayed in the junior suite, so I cannot speak to the other rooms, but it was spacious and comfortable.

The hotel itself was fine, and the room was fine, but the service was terrible. From the front desk staff to the restaurant, all very poor. It felt like they were trying to be a very fancy hotel, and charged accordingly, but didn't have the staff and training to do so properly. Also, the beach is not great, fairly small and filled with locals on the weekend. There were many much nicer beach and shoreline locations that would have made it far more enjoyable. Very good air conditioning though, and a very nice pool area.

Very expensive dinner which wasn't very good. For one of us they served a different vegetable from what was ordered without an explanation until challenged . Quality of one of the two main courses was poor. We had a much better meal in Sanary the next night for half the price.

Les chambres sont décrépites la douche est bouchée la télé ne fonctionne pas la salle de restaurant est hors du temps.
L'hôtel est vide et désert et lorsque vous demandez la clé de votre chambre à 14h on vous répond qu'elle n'est pas prête.
Pas de restaurant le midi, si vous demandez un en cas au room service on vous répond qu'il n'y a rien à manger.
Je vous conseil de réserver ailleurs sans hésitation.

Superbe piscine.
Par contre manque de choix au petit déjeuner.
2e étage bruyant le soir car même étage que le restaurant. Il faudrait que la porte séparant la partie chambres des ascenseurs soit fermée dès 19h pour éviter cela.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour mais quelle ne fut pas notre surprise lorsque l’hôtel nous a facturé 25€ de mini bar sans aucune raison.
Nous leur avons expliqué que nous sommes arrivés à 20h avons directement été au restaurant de l’hôtel dans lequel nous avons pris entrée plat dessert mais non : ils persistent à dire que nous avons consommé par exemple une boîte de pringles entre donc 23h et 10h l’heure de notre départ.
C’est une question de principe (et non pour les 25€), lorsque l’on paye si chère une nuit d’hôtel, 2 petits déjeuners et un restaurant à 170€, la moindre des choses, c’est de vérifier que le mini bar ait bien été comptabilisé la veille.
Vraiment mauvais service pour un hôtel 4 étoiles et surtout AUCUN GESTE APRÈS CETTE ERREUR, nous passons juste pour des menteurs après avoir dépensé déjà 400€ en une nuit

Nous avons passé 3 jours agréables dans l'hôtel . La restauration était très bien quant à la qualité des plats savoureux et leur décoration. L'accueil était chaleureux depuis le voiturier jusqu'au personnel de la réception et du restaurant. Dommage que nous n'ayons pas eu une petite terrasse pour une chambre classique avec vue mer.

Un beau bateau … mais à la dérive …

Hôtel qui a visiblement eut une ère glorieuse … dans le passé. La configuration générale est flatteuse, les matériaux de qualité mais bon sang … il a vécu et mal vécu. L’entretien laisse à désirer, les équipements sont usés et dégradés quand ils ne disfonctionnent pas.
Tout sent l’établissement racheté en phase descendante et dont on a imaginé qu’il vivrait sans personnel ni entretien.

Le personnel manque de considération pour les besoins et le confort des clients (on est clairement chez eux et on nous dit clairement qu’on a juste à filer droit). Le parking est un calvaire, beaucoup moins d’espace que nécessaire, on ne peut pas entrer et sortir à sa guise de l’établissement sans demander l’autorisation … quand il y a quelqu’un et qu’on ne doit pas attendre 20min que quelqu’un daigne occuper le desk. On peut même essayer de réveiller quelqu’un en appelant au téléphone… de toutes façons le personnel est au café , on pourra disposer de sa propre voiture quand ils auront terminé … bref c’est un très beau bateau en pleine dérive… plus jamais.

Tres décevant personnel incompetent ne parlant pas très bien français et encore moins anglais.
Pour ce qui est du restaurant fuyez, il y a tant de vrais restaurants tout proches.
Les chambres sont extrêmement mal isolées tant au niveau phonique que thermique.
La qualité de la literie laisse a désirer (matelas dur type futon).
En un mot pas digne d'un 4 étoiles.
Les prix sont a la tete du client !!!

Both the gentleman at the reception as well as the gentleman who parked our car for us were (parking valet service) very friendly and helpful. The pool is in the shade in November so we did not use it. Hotel is located a bit out of town so needed to use the car. Lovely hotel but a bit pricy.

Le personnel parle très mal le français, ils ne nous comprennent pas… le petit déjeuner c est franchement pas top ! Même pas de jus de fruit à 23€ par personne ! Il a fallu les rappeler pour qu ils nous complète le plateau. Heureusement nous avons eu une personne sympa pour la réception au moment du payement. Pour le spa, nous avions pris la formule massage et dîner mais franchement une salade de tomates pas top, le plat ok. On ne peut pas choisir pourtant on aurai pu payer un supplément mais non, c est le chef qui décide. Dommage, j avais connu cet hôtel il y a quelques années et il était au top… on ne refera pas l expérience.

Décevant , on arrive à 13h il nous disent que nous aurons une chambre bien avant 15h donc nous sommes parti manger au restaurant de l’hôtel à 14h30 la chambre n’est toujours pas prête , pour avoir une chambre avec un problème de Clim et un climatiseur portable avec un tuyau qui sort sur la fenêtre , il a fallu me rendre à la réception pour demandée de changer de chambre , mais il aurais fallu ne pas donner cette chambre et respect vos clients , décevant d’année en année

Schönes und ruhiges Hotel direkt am Strand mit gutem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Gute Restauration im Hotel selber, weitere Restaurants in Barandol, allerdings nicht in Gehdistanz. Der Strand ist klein, aber sehr gepflegt, Wasserqualität gut und sauber. Schlafen mit dem Meeresrauschen im Ohr.

Prix d'un 4 étoiles prestation d'un 2 étoiles. Chambre minuscule avec vue sur les travaux, douche non fonctionnelle, brûlures de cigarettes sur les peignoirs, transats sales, etc.

Etablissement ciblant plutôt une clientèle étrangère aisée de passage, les tarifs vous confirment que vous êtes bien dans un 4*.

Je suis un peu déçu du séjour passé dans cet hôtel.
Le cadre est magnifique, l’hôtel est très beau et la plus part du personnel sympathique mais nous avons quand même passé un séjour pas agréable du tout.
J’ai une Tesla, je pensais pouvoir charger sur place mais l’hôtel me fait savoir que les portes du garage sont cassés et on peut pas y aller et me promettent de revenir vers moi ce qu’ils n’ont jamais fait.
On rentre dans la chambre, il fait frais je décide de mettre le chauffage car on est en mars et la Clim affiche erreur. J’appelle la réception et ils m’envoient un chauffage 500w d’appoint qui n’as rien changé du tout alors qu’on paye 500€ le séjour quand même
Le téléphone de la chambre marche pas du coup je passe mes commandes dîner sur le téléphone des wc. Le samedi 12:00 on décide de profiter du soleil et se poser sur le bord de la piscine et c’est exactement la qu’un employé décide de laver le tour de la piscine au karcher. Nous avons préféré quitter l’endroit malgré notre envie d’y rester.
Pour conclure c’est un superbe hôtel mais nous n’avons pas passé un super moment comme nous l’aurions souhaité. Décevant

Un petit gout légèrement amer

Bel hôtel, belle chambre, belle salle d'eau..., mais avec les toilettes non séparées. repas en chambre de qualité mais sans plus, petit déjeuner copieux ..., mais cuillères à café pas dignes d'un 4 étoiles et avec une facturation présentant une erreur..., des petits détails qui nous laissent un petit gout légèrement amer…d'autant plus que je fêtais mes 72 ans avec l'arrivée du printemps

4 étoiles il y a une dizaine d’années peut-être !

Nous étions logé en suite vue piscine. Cette chambre est spacieuse mais aussi vétuste, beaucoup de choses bricolées à l’aide de rustines et typiquement une salle de bain avec une baignoire sans douche et dont le tuyau de la douchette est trop court pour pouvoir se laver la tête ainsi qu’aucune vitre de protection, c’est la piscine assurée!
Le SPA a 20€ par personne pour un sauna et un bassin à 30 degrés avec des jets massants, hamam HS et douche sensorielle recyclée sauvagement en douche standard 😩.
un petit déjeuner à 18€ par personne quand même, et là à notre grande surprise, les œufs, le fromage, la charcuterie... sont tous en supplément!! Et à 6€ les œufs brouillés, le petit dej est un peu dure à avaler.
Je ne m’étalerai pas sur le parking à 15€ la nuit.
Pour conclure, le rapport qualité/prix n’est pas au rdv.

Magnifique hôtel au bord de la plage

Tout était très bien mais malheureusement il y avait beaucoup de vent pendant notre séjour .
Les installations sont magnifiques ,le personnel est très serviable et accueillant , l’endroit très calme ....
J’y retournerai volontiers
C’est assez coûteux mais on y est chouchouté...
