The hotel is located a good 20 minute walk from the Kensington Olympia, so great for those attending conventions there who are looking for a well-priced place to stay if they are travelling from out of London since train prices can skyrocket quickly if attending multiple days in a row.
Across Cromwell Road and to the right is Earl's Court Road which had a good variety of places to eat of an evening, both takeaways and formal dining. Earl's Court Road station is the ideal place to arrive when planning a trip which involves checking in as your first course of action.
The rooms were kept very clean thanks to the diligent cleaning team at the hotel.
My only complaints would be the narrow door to the bathroom of the room I was in which may be an issue for plus-sized guests in a single room. That and the room door closing quickly and loudly when left to close on it's own, so any guests should be mindful to close the door manually and carefully as to not trap digits nor to disturb other guests.
Finally, the customer service was wonderful. The staff member who checked me in was a very polite and kind gentleman who processed my check in very well. Staff are available 24/7 at the reception, so despite requiring to return your room key to them whenever leaving the hotel premises, the process is easy. When I asked if they could keep my luggage on the day I checked out they were very understanding and were able to do so, so ideal for any convention-goers with a lot of luggage.
