The hotel was lovely. The staff were helpful, esp. Mila, Elton, & Julian who looked after us. The resort had a nice pool, beach area, dinner & drinks menu. Our ocean views room was clean & ideal. It was quiet & peaceful. The area outside the hotel was in development & construction, but when you’re in the hotel you do not see or hear this.

Really beautiful ocean views. You can organize whale watching and to swim with sea turtles nearby. Kind of a dusty, rough road to get to Arennas. We enjoyed a peaceful weekend there. The food was good and healthy, lots of quinoa, veggie/fruit smoothies, fresh fish.

Not 5 stars. The customer service is not up to par with 5 stars and the food was awful so expect to eat other places about 20 mins away. No one tells you that the road getting to the hotel is the bumpiest ride I’ve ever experienced. The beach was my favorite part since it’s private. The rooms (we got the garden view) did not look like the pictures like they were smaller and outdated. Front desk is useless when you have problems and they tried to charge me double for my food. Beach Water is too cold and strong to go in plus lots of rocks but they offer paddle boarding at the hotel. This hotel is pricey for what it is…

The hotel was fine, but we had an issue that we accidentally left a wallet where we had been having a drink on the property and while I didn’t expect the cash to still be there - it was surprising that everything inside was taken. Its slightly surprising at a hotel of this price that this happened. I realize a lot of it was on us, but it’s unnerving all the same.

Fantastic place to visit and relax on the beach and do nothing. All the hotel utilities work and there is really no need to leave the hotel grounds. Travel from Lima to Mancora airport on Atsa makes the stay even easier

My partner and I came to Arennas so we could have so vacation time and disconnect with the city, this for sure was the right call!
The hotel itself is beautiful, service is amazing, food is great. The ocean here is so clean, we stayed at the private swimming pool room and it was everything we needed.
Be aware though, you would find some bugs here and there but maintenance team will always (no matter the time) be there to help out ☺️
I can’t wait to come back!

Service was excellent, the decor was excellent, the beach setting was perfect. I really can't say enough great things about this hotel. It's very pricey, especially for Peru, but if you want the very best, it will cost you. Plus you're not getting a hotel room, you're essentially getting a beach front villa! About 15 minutes drive to the town of Mancora if you need essentials, but the food on site is very good. It's a nice intimate property that is about as nice as you'll find in Peru

Restaurant food quality is marginal/overrated. We ate this only once and for the included breakfast. Front desk staff is unfriendly. There is a bell-boy but no door bell on the front door nor anywhere. Not enough hot water for 2 back to back showers. The big fancy room with a pool is nice but the pool water is so cold you can't use it.

Great property with nice beach. Rooms have nice view of the beach and sexy shower. Enjoyed the bike on the beach and playing beach tennis. Nice pool and jacuzzi. The food was some of the best I've ever had. The only complaint is the terrible road, 20 minutes to Máncora or Los Organos.

This hotel is for you if you want a high quality and peaceful beach retreat. The outstanding design and layout of the buildings and outdoor spaces gives the feel of exclusivity and seclusion. The sandy beach is spacious and uncrowded, the sea a little rough for bathing. Fantastic food and a menu to suit all tastes. The wider Mancora area is less salubrious but is lovely and clearly popular with sun seekers

The attention was top notch. If you are looking for luxury , this is it. Everyone from the doorman to the housekeeper to the pool attendant was on point on customer service and would not hesitate to ask if you needed anything. Asides from that , the hotel itself in such a beautiful setting and all its elegant features are enough to sweep you off your feet.

Nice and very comfortable hotel. Good restaurant and excellent service.
Beachfront rooms have a very nice view of the Pacific Ocean.
We had the privilege to have a nice wales ballet twice during our 4 days stay.
No wifi in the rooms...better!!!

The hotel was great,it was far enough outside of Mancora to have peace and relax but only 10mins drive to town if you want to try some of the good Peruvian resteraunts.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very helpful! The menu is great although the breakfast choice is not huge,maybe they could have a change every couple of days but the food you can choose is very good.

If you don't like insects then maybe don't take an ocean suite as there was a few spiders and crickets that came to visit on a regulate visit but if you are not bothered with these things then the ocean suite is perfect! Although pic the Jacquzi one and not the pool as we hardly used the private pool to be honest. Will definately be back to this hotel!

AMAZING HOTEL!

In my opinion, the best hotel in the area. No comparison to DCO - Arennas is by far the BEST!. Beautiful gardens and pool area. Rooms have beautiful terraces and wonderful bathrooms. Staff are all very attentive. The restaurant was very good and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was disappointing. All the other meals were very good. Well worth the money (not cheap) and we will definately return.

The place is clean and staff appear friendly however the pricing on rooms and food is unproportianate. The quality of food is good for local dishes however needs help with international dishes. The place was almost empty and when checking in since mother in law and and aunt decided to join us last minute we needed another room they try charging us double the rate I paid.
Not good business and unethical. We checked out the next day.

This is a great hotel. Stunning views, great amenities, and wonderful service. We spent 3 nights here to end our trip through Peru and it was a very nice treat. Amazing views. Beautiful birds. We saw whales while having breakfast and were entertained watching the ocean birds trying to catch crabs on the beach. The rooms and the pool are stunning. The hotel provides plenty of beach towels for you.

A few things to note:
Getting to the resort is tricky. Definitely book through the resort. It's expensive, but better (and safer) than figuring out on your own. The drive can be a bit sketchy in some areas. Be smart.
You will have spiders in your room. The good thing is you'll see them because the rooms are so clean. It's a coastal resort so it's expected to get a few creepy crawly friends.

Beautifully designed hotel.

Overall a good experience. The hotel was very hard to get to. The road from Talara airport to the hotel is decent except for the last 5-10 miles that are a complete nightmare.
Hotel employees friendly and accommodating. Restaurant has good food but is a little overpriced for Peruvian standards.
Nice rooms when the air conditioning is working...
Best part is the location and the beautiful hotel design and harmony of colors.

Nice hotel NOT WORTH THE PRICE

The Hotel is nice, beutifull beaches, pool was great for kids and grownups.
Room is comfortable and waiting/housekeeping staff is very help full. Management is another thing.
Four things I did not like:
1. AC did not work well did not cool and they were not able to fix it.
2. When a couple was checking in the stoped at the beach when we were there and lighted a joint!! The guy came right next to them and did nothing! We left the beach.
3. They charged us the rate in New Soles with an overpriced exachange rate and would not accept US dollars!! Our account was $94 dollars more because of this.
4. Restaurant prices are a bit high for my taste but food was good.

Great place to stay in Mancora

Stayed hear for three nights and had a great time. Location is about 20 minutes down a dirt road (makes trip to town a little less appealing) right on the beach. Rooms are great, definitely worth the extra money to get oceanfront. The hotel features a good bar and restaurant with nice staff. There is a nice pool and beachfront cabanas.

A beatifful hotel with the beach at our toes

I was so incredibly surprised by this hotel. Our experience here was wonderful and the town of Mancora is worth experiencing. The food at the hotel is good but I highly recommend going to town and trying the different restaurants there; the food was out of this world. Try Aji (Mexican restaurant) and La Sirena de Juan; exceptional culinary experience.

Sehr angenehme Anlage, adäquates Zimmer (leider ohne Kaffeemaschine), in der Regel sehr guter Service mit ausgefeilter Speisekarte. Restaurant nicht günstig, aber die Preise sind angemessen. Strand vor der Tür, großer Pool. Das Richtige für jeden, der eine ruhige Zeit verbringen will.
