The team at Tulamben wreck divers is very profesional, kind and helpful. I extended my stay twice as I enjoyed it so much. Their dive masters are great and they offer a great discount when staying at the resort. They also offer in-room massages which are a treat after dives. The two pools are great to lounge in and around when you’re not out diving. The room had a comfortable bed, very clean and large room with a patio and drying rack for swim gear. Great bathroom as well with hot shower. I really enjoyed my stay.

No front desk. Penthouse room fixtures not well maintained. Bidet was missing. Sink faucet leaked. No hot water on sink faucet. No drain plug on sink. Shower had low flow, visibly clogged shower head, and wide temperature fluctuation. No shampoo or body wash in shower. Room and balcony doors didn't open & shut properly. Room safe contained dead & corroding batteries; required use of emergency key. Room entry via physical key (no key card or RFID tag). Room entry door not solid (glass pane could be easily broken for intrusion). Housekeeping staff rarely left balcony door locked in the same way it was left (bolted at top & bottom). No phone in room to contact management or staff. On site cafe closed earlier than posted hours. Cafe regularly was out of many menu items. Management/staff hid or otherwise did not disclose cost of some charges associated with scuba activities until after the charges were already incurred. Property uses handwritten records for tracking guest expenses and discloses contents of these records only upon request or at check-out. (No copy of records provided to guest until check-out, though guest may photograph the records upon request.) Many services offered by property are available at lower cost, higher quality, or both within a few hundred meters; it pays to shop around if you don't mind the walk!

Housekeeping honored each of my requests to skip room cleaning. Cafe staff honored many additional small requests. Wayan G was an amazing scuba guide!

The bedroom was clean and spacious but the toilet fixtures were poorly maintained. Faucets and wash basin was leaking. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location of the resort is quite secluded and a couple of hundred meters away from the main road through narrow unlit path. For pedestrians, that meant walking in pitch darkness. Torch or handphone light will be needed. Once on the main road, it's about another km to the shops and restaurants.

We were very unhappy with our stay and actually left the hotel 4 days early. The resort advertises it is beach front with 6 pools and 2 restaurants. When in fact, the resort is actually split in two. One part is beach front and the other is a 20 minute walk away, far from the beach. We stayed in the part that was not beach front and only had 2 pools and a restaurant. Definitely not what we thought we were going to get. There is no reception, so none to complain to. The room we had was okay, but the sink blocked, as there's no reception, we had to tell the restaurant staff. Nothing was done to fix this. The restaurant staff were rude and we felt as though we were a burden to them. They would not even greet us when we sat at the table, only came and put the menu down and walked off. Once we had finished any food, we would have to get up and ask them for the bill everytime. - very bad service. Overall, we would not recommend, nor go back and feel like the resort should advise people that it is split in 2.

Amazing time at Tulamben Wreck divers. A bit too much persistent with the diving stuff (I get it, is what I meant to be doing there). Nevertheless lovely staff, great facilities. Highly recommended

We had a villa overlooking the sea. The vila was spacious and clean. The villas are seperate from the hotel so my husband was given the use of a motorbike to get from the villa site to the dive shop. He had a great experience diving with Jack.
Breakfast is included, we would have loved an Indonesian option. The fresh juice we discovered has sugar and condensed milk added which I found disappointing and unnecessary. Once we found out we ordered our juices without either. For those allergic to dairy you wouldn’t think you would need to be vigilant over a fresh fruit juice.
We had the place to ourselves for most of our four day stay so it was very peaceful.

Good place to stay to see the Liberty shipwreck

Great breakfast, clean room with nice hot shower. Very friendly staff and good quality diving with excellent Divemaster. I chose to dive last minute ans they were very accommodating in getting set up for a dawn dive on the wreck. The food was very yummy and we had a nice big room with free water too. We also enjoyed snorkelling the wreck as the car visibilty was great!

Great value, good stay

It was a good stay overall, especially considering the price. I would recommend it for short stays for those planning on only sleeping in the room as the room is quite dark/dimly lit, even with all the lights on.

Nice hotel and excellent value for money

We ended up extending our stay 2 times at this hotel for a total of 8 nights, that should say it all.

We were upgraded upon arrival into a deluxe room. The room was in good condition. They offered a good American breakfast and it's well located in Tulamben.

We were really satisfied with the general value for money this hotel gaves us.

Very good place for divers and their families

Plus:
Deluxe room have everything you need. AC, fridge, locker and even TV and DVD player. Good beds and very nice brochure with lots of useful information. Two swimming pools were really appreciated by family. Good food is available in buffet.
Minus:
Level of the English - don't expect you will chat. I could not get answer to air temperature, however level is enough to have safe dive. But it could be caused by my accent as not native speaker.
PS: If you want to snorkeling take boots or ask for rent. Stones on the beach are sharp.
Overall very good accommodation for given price.

Pleasantly surprised!

For the price we paid, we were very happy! Not only did our room have 2 beds, but also a TV with DVD and videos to watch when it rained. It was convenient to walk a few steps to the dive shop, gear up, and cross the street to the wreck. The two pools were gorgeous - one I had to myself all 3 days! The breakfast was among the best we had in all of Bali & Lombok: very plentiful! Great job, Tulamben Wreck divers!

BEST VALUE IN TULAMBEN

I stayed at a number of places in Tulamben and this hotel is by far the best value, make sure you book the Superior room as they are large and have partial sea views and even the volcano from the bathroom, good 3m deep pool and easy walk to all the best dive or snorkel spots. On-site cafe and restaurant good food and good price, only downside is the breakfast menu is limited. Good dive rates can be negotiated (and includes a dive guide, great for solo travellers like me) and they can do airport pick-up and drop-off

Unexpectedly nice

There are many dive resorts in the Tulamben area. The wreck divers was the best value, so I figured that I could put up with anything lacking. Nothing was lacking. From the main road, the resort face was the dive shop, so you questioned the living space. You walk past the dive shop and come across a beautifully landscaped area with two lovely pools, an open eating area, and an open area where you can hang, relax, or get an inexpensive massage. My room was not luxurious, impressive at first, but ended up being very comfortable. High ceilings and a very comfortable bed, and a good sized room. There was a stocked refrigerator, a safe, Wi-Fi, AC, and a very nice table and chairs just outside the door. The room was a bit dark, so go outside already. The staff was terrific, from the dive masters, to the restaurant staff, to the guys taking care of the grounds. The Liberty dive was right across the street, and the other dives were easily accessed. The owner really went overboard to help me out in a pinch, when the local BRI Bank ATM screwed my, refused my transaction, gave me NO money, then charged my credit card anyway. Stay away from BRI banks. Really a nice stay.

Dive buddy and I were looking for an inexpensive place to do early morning dives at the USAT Liberty. The resort had two nice pools, decent breakfast, a fully equipped dive shop on site, masseuses, and puts you within walking distance of the shore. Plenty of restaurant options are just a quick walk next door. The two-bed room was very basic and looked a bit more backpacker style than modern resort but it was fine for the price in low season. The staff were accommodating and we had no problems during our brief two night stay.

Nice and beautiful scuba diving hotel by the sea!

My wife and I stayed at the Tulamben Wreck Divers Resort for two nights while on our honeymoon. The check in experience was not very positive, as we were given a room at first that was not the beachfront villa we had booked. Thankfully, after a few phone calls, we were given the villa we had paid for, and were amazed at how beautiful it was. There is a small private pool, and tonnes of space to sit outside in the villa, including a nice patio by the sea. We loved watching the sun rise and set while we were there, and there is little we would criticize about the place. The hotel reception is far from the villa and not within a walking distance, but we had people pick us up on scooters when we went diving (highly recommend the ship wreck and drop off dives in the area) and whenever we needed anything. Otherwise, the staff would come to our villa to take our lunch and dinner orders and delivered the tasty and affordable food in a timely manner. Overall, we loved the hotel, even though the area was quite empty apart from the diving. It is quiet and serene and we highly recommend it!

Amazing value

Stayed 2 nights, it was late arrival but despite closed counter, was promptly greeted by security and helped with luggage to the room. The suite was spotless and the bathroom had hot water. 1 free bottle of water (1 litter), free tea and instant coffee. Adequate breakfast, pretty typical size and selection for Bali hotels. There were some minor issues with English abilities of the restaurant staff but eventually turned out okay. I'd recommend their restaurant for lunch/dinner as well-- tasty meals twice the size you get in a warung cross the street at a comparable price (quoted in USD but paid in IDR). Location is perfect-- on the main road with steps to the USS Liberty wreck dive entrance beach (10 min walk), an ATM and diveshops. No comment on the dive shop on site since I dove with another one. Overall, an amazing value.

We were simply enchanted by the beauty of the site and the friendly service from the staff. The Diving Center is very well organized and provides PADI formations from beginner to experienced divers. A 15 minute walk from Lipah Bay, a lovely sand beach with fabulous corals in shallow waters, perfect for snorkelling.

Beautiful, right on the beach

The villas are right on the beach. The hotel,is about 2 km further down the road. The villas serve breakfast but you need to be shuttled to the restaurant. Peaceful, relaxing, quiet and beautiful view from the pool area. Lovely tables right on the beach edge. Black stone beach not sand, but still beautiful.

Pada diving resort of choice for Tulabem

The staff was excellent. Food was also excellent and reasonably priced. Dives guide, Puto was outstanding. The diving is good, especially the USS Liberty wreck. The dive shop offers Nitrox and equipment. You may be able to dive more cheaply, but the convenience was well worth it for us. Rooms had AC and were big. You are not staying at the Hilton, but it was very comfortable. One cannot beat the price.

Perfect dive resort in Tulamben.

Great place to stay in Tulamben if you are here to dive the Liberty wreck. Main shop is literally across the road from the beach access, and porters took care of moving all the great. Villas are down the road a few minutes so need a scooter or other transport, but they are also in a very nice, quiet spot on the ocean with a small private infinity pool. Resort is a bit bare bones but it's also in a remote town, amenities were more than ample for the time there.

we had a fantastic stay here. The villa overlooking the sea was amazing. the resort was quiet, which we enjoyed. Aircon worked well. A short drive to Tulamben wreck dive resort and collect the cylinders and dive the walk in wreck and wall and coral reef. What a pleasure. Diving made easy. Thank you all

ゆったり、のんびり出来るホテルです。

ダイビング目的で利用。ダイビング・ポイントも近くに有り、海中も混んでもいなくゆったりと楽しめました。敷地内にレストランもあり、リーズナブルに、美味しく頂けました。近くにはコンビニもあり、ちょっとした買い物もでき、不自由はありませんでした。ATMも歩いて5分位の所にある別のコンビニに在ります。今回は4泊5日でしたが、次回はもう少し長く滞在しようかと思っています。ありがとうございました。

First of all the picture shown is different to the property. The picture is the Villa while property offer is the resort... misleading.

The room no.2, where I stayed is without shower door and the light bulb is unbelievely dim. We asked to change the bulb and the answer given,, to just turn on the bed side lamp to obtain sufficieng light in the room, fuiiihhh what a smart solution.

I have stayed many times in the past and it is obvous that the quality has degraded... probably that is one of the reason that the resort has run out its past glamour.

Hope they realize it and fix it.

Très bon séjour !

L'hôtel est très bien situé à quelques mètres de la plage et de l'épave de l'USS liberty! L'environnement est très agréable avec deux piscines, le petit déjeuner est très bon.
La chambre est propre et équipée d'un réfrigérateur ce qui est très pratique. Par contre, l'éclairage y est insuffisant, la chambre est très sombre.

Et perfekt hotel til at koble af fra øens meget hektiske liv og larm. Hotellet arrangerer dykkerture, hvilket var en kæmpe oplevelse som bare skal prøves, når man er i Tulamben. Et rigtig godt råd vil være at leje en scooter, for at se noget mere af området. Vi boede i en af hotellets \"villaer\" som var et meget idyllisk område, dog lidt væk fra \"receptionen\" som lå i forbindelse med dykkerskolen inde i Tulamben. Kan klart anbefale hotellet til andre, hvis man trænger til at komme væk og koble af.

Accueil très désagréable

Séjour dans une des villas au bord de mer , le cadre est magnifique !!!
Dommage que l’accueil soit aussi mauvais ! Il gâche le séjour !
Il n’y a même pas d´acceuil physique , il faut se rendre au club de plongée .
La personne qui vous reçoit n’a qu’un mot à la bouche : payer !
Grosse anrnarque sur les tarifs proposés pour les activités.
Bien dommage car le cadre pour les villas est top !
