Super friendly staff! There’s security at the gate and there’s always staff montioring the grounds so you feel safe. The noise from the beach club can be annoying at times but it ends at midnight. Overall good experience.

Upon arrival, there were no staff to assist with coming the reception area. It was raining and the ramp was slippery. There should be some form of non-slip on the ramp to minimize the chance for injury. Our room was ready, yet the floor was wet from condensation. There should be something at the bottom edge of the door to minimize airflow into the room from outside. After an evening of rest, we awoke to find tiny ants everywhere. Yes, everywhere, including in the bathroom skirting the tub and on the sink.

Breakfast was lovely but coffee is extra but good.
Close to spas and restaurants.
Our king bed was comfortable.
Aircon good and wifi.
Unfortunately the noise from night clubs was torture. Sometimes until 2 am with loud music pounding into the rooms. Such a shame as the resort is great.

Room was advertised as a beachfront room. It was actually on the 2nd floor, although it was at the front it was overlooking the pool and definitely not beachfront.

I think the breakfast was very ordinary . Dry toast on top of dry toast ?
The fresh fruit juices was disgusting
The menu never changed at all
Portion sizes was small for what I paid for and should not have to pay extra for breakfast ,should be included what ever you needed - sausage or extra bacon should not cost extra .

The most stunning position. The view of the sea, the gorgeous green lawn and the pool. We had a lovely time here. So many great places to eat all within walking distance.
The noise at night from Finn’s and Atlas was there, but didn’t disturb us at all. We could hardly hear the clubs in our rooms. And I think the whole of Canngu can hear the clubs from the beaches. So if you come to Canngu expect the party scene at night. Thank you to the beautiful staff that looked after us.

Location and price was great. Beach from and right next to Finn’s beach club.
Room was not the cleanest, hot water did not work the hole time, AC Barely kept up,
Overall it was good for 1 or maybe 2 nights if you’re only there to go to the club, surf and then crash in the hotel like I was.

Had a great time at the hotel! Literally 1 min to Finns Beach club. The staff were very friendly and cooperative. We had to leave our luggage after checkout for a few hours and they were very accommodating. Great access to the beach, taxis, scooter hiring. You can hear the music from Finns but it wasn’t too bad. Would definitely recommend.

This is out of the hotel's control, but the proximity of the nightclub/beachclubs with unbearably loud music until midnight every night, and until 2am on weekends was unbelievable. This would definitely prevent me from staying here again. I feel sad for the hotel,and for everyone living in the local area, but the noise has to be heard to be believed.

Beautiful hotel right on beach. Great staff, very helpful. Big room with comfortable bed, and hot water in shower (which was nice since I’d been on the road for 2 months staying in some places with no zero amenities.) There’s some decent surf out front depending on swell. Finns Beach Club is next door, if you’re into that sort of thing. And there’s lots of dining options just a short stroll up the beach. I would stay here again for sure.

Lovely staff, restaurant and pool area clean, not so clean rooms. Bathroom not very clean, no water pressure or hot water. Towels were old and worn. Curtains on door dirty worn and old. WiFi in room didn’t work had to go to garden or restaurant to use.

This hotel definitely does not look like his pictures. The hotel is very run down. You can see rust in the restaurant. There were a lot of flies and ants when we were eating. When we got our food it was cold. The room was even more run down. All of the towels were very old and some even have the yellow stains on them.

This hotel was extremely disappointing. They didn’t change our sheets until we ripped them off the bed, then they placed the dirty pillow cases back on and just turned them over hoping we wouldn’t notice. Had to ask for them to replenish the soaps etc as they just left them empty each day.
You can’t get a quiet nights sleep at this hotel with the base of music playing from Finns next door. First night we stayed the other beach club next door was playing the music with base on and it was shaking our room until 4am.
Communal toilets near the reception area wasn’t cleaned the entire time we were there in 7 days.
Breakfast was basic and they had fish on the menu for 4 days straight instead of mixing it up. If your after a nice breakfast with more effort put in, stay somewhere else or go out. My boyfriend complained about fish being the only thing being served for breakfast for so many days (he can’t eat fish) so they put chicken on next day and he got food poisoning.

Location is nice, this is the only reason they got one star otherwise would have been zero.

Would never stay here again. Could be a great hotel under better management. I think the only thing saving them is the location.

Very disappointed with our stay. There were several cases of food poisoning during the first few days and unfortunately both my husband and myself experienced it too. I was floored for at least 2 full days. My husband notified management. As I wasn't improving we decided to leave a day earlier than we'd paid for. My husband asked for a refund for the last day and was told...no! So then my husband asked for a discount on the food bill....as we had only eaten at their restaurant....and he was told 15% discount...so he said no! Anyway they came back with 25% discount.
Also the bedding was not changed once in our 6 days stay. We had previously been staying in a Legian hotel which was much cheaper than Legong Keraton and our bedding was changed daily. For a resort to charge well over $100 per night I find this unacceptable. I will not be back!

We were a bit skeptical due to reading some of the negative reviews online & not expecting a lot but we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed 4 nights and really loved the resort. The pool and garden area is stunning & we loved our mornings in the sun by the pool and then the afternoon on the lawn in the shade of the beautiful big palm trees right on the beachfront. It was a perfect spot to sit and watch the surfers and enjoy the beach vibe.
We found the location was great although not a huge choice of restaurants down that end but it was an easy walk in either direction into the busier end of Cangu or else Seminyak in the other direction.
There were some negative comments on-line about Finns being next door but other than being a little bit busy out the front it certainly wasn't noisy, either by the pool or in the room at night. (We were at the front of the Hotel and quite close to Finns and did not even hear it)
We have stayed in a broad range of properties across Bali and while it is not 5 star we certainly could not fault it. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating & the property was clean and well kept in traditional Balinese style which we like.
Breakfast was a bit more basic that other resorts we have stayed in but they were happy to cook extra things for us on request with no extra charge.
Only negative was no tea or coffee in the room but other than that we will certainly be staying here again.

In Bali terms, much better value is available however, rate is clearly driven by absolute beachfront location and being immediately next door to what must be the most impressive and sprawling beachfront bar/ leisure space in Bali.
Scooter hire avail x hotel at bargain rates.
Linen is of poor standard, breakfast is ok, byo instant coffee - it would be better. They don’t bother with any in room hot drink provisions.
Location is 10/10 and supersedes any negatives.

Awesome location for surfers directly on a fantastic surf break. It’s right next to Finns Beach Club which was good for us with kids as we got a seven day pass so we went to Finns a few times and used the complimentary shuttle bus to and from the Finns Rec Club which has the water park, Bounce and bowling. My husband absolutely loved the surfing every day.
The hotel itself is OK. It advertises three star and obviously that is what you get. Rooms are basic - could improve the cleaning and upkeep in the bathrooms.
Grounds are very pretty and well kept with a lovely shaded section full of trees looking over the surf break.

The hotel is older in style but the beachfront location can be beaten.
The rooms were clean and again, the staff were lovely.
My only suggestion would be to have a kettle/ coffee and tea in the rooms.

Really nice hotel, should be rated much higher in my opinion. Very clean, well serviced, food was pretty good but better choices easily found if you get a scooter and ride around. Nice surf break right out front, clean pool, pretty good breakfast too. Chilled mellow hotel and the overpriced Finns beach club is just next door of you want to join the cool crew and pay top dollar for your bintangs. We will be back - thank you to all the staff, and special mention to the hotel gardener who maintains the gardens beatifully it's almost meditative to watch him work.

Avoid this hotel! The location on the beach is the only thing going for it. Rooms were small, beds uncomfortable, flies everywhere, smelt like garbage outside our room and the pool was drained for a week without warning during our stay. Facilities very tired. We checked out early and I'll never stay again.

Fantastic place to stay, very quiet with great surf out front and no need for transport. The Hotel restaurant has an excellent choice of authentic Indonesian cuisine and also favorite Pizza's!

Tour can be arranged by the team in reception and offer great value for money.

Would not hesitate to recommend the Hotel to our friends and family.

Legong Keraton is in an excellent location, right on the beach. The rooms are well appointed, surprisingly spacious and clean. Lawns and gardens lovely. The pool is good, although a tiny investment in the empty pool bar could make it a highlight. The service in the restaurant is only fair, with staff standing around waiting to be called for service and slow in cleaning away. The food was not nearly as good as previous stays. Overall, we like it!

What a great place to stay if you love to surf or be out of any city life. The resort is nicely kept, spa services were great and reasonably priced, the food was ok, a little discerning at night in the restaurant a mouse would run through and clean up -look for scraps. Did not come near me however it did ruin my appetite. Easy to arrange taxi, scooter or transport with the front desk and head out to eat in Seminyak or up the street. Worth the stay though with the beautiful beach that seemed private and certainly seems to be a surfer's paradise.

Our toilet was broken, the linen bathroom and floors were all dirty and stained. We asked to change rooms and the the next morning hotel staff come into our room with others guests while we were still in bed. We were refused the free shuttle service to seminyak so we checked out of this hotel early.

My wife stayed for two nights at the beginning of our Bali adventure. The location of this hotel was great. Right on the beach. It was also away from the noise of Kuta. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent pool. Highly recommended if you're seeking a quiet destination on a budget.

Spent 4 nights here to celebrate a friends birthday. Beautiful spot right on the beachfront - very much away from the crush of downtown Kuta etc. Meals are very nice with variety. There are several other eateries within walking distance so not forced to eat 'in'. Friendly staff and generally is clean and tidy environment. Need own transport or hire a taxi or car as a wee way from main areas.

Our stay at the hotel was a really nice experience. The rooms were very nice, everything was really well taken care of and the breakfast was appropriate for a 3 star hotel. The only thing we missed was being able to swim in the ocean, as the waves and water were really rough. Great for experienced sufers but not got for swimmers. There are also no other things around the hotel, no supermarket, no restaurant, no shops, so everything has to be done by taxi or scooter. One can walk to the next city (Seminiyak) though, if you don't mind walking for half an hour along the beach.

Gorgeous small Hotel on the beach

We went to bali for my brothers Wedding and the Hotel was recommended by the wedding co-ordinator... as the wedding was being held in a Villa 5 minutes walk away.... The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and the staff more than happy to help with any request.....I had a deluxe room and was pleased with the room size, huge bathroom and private balcony. Its perfect for a very relaxing holiday..... with the ocassional trip to Kuta/Legian.... its definitely not a party Hotel!!! Taxis are needed to get anywhere, but for peace and quiet... this Hotel is the one!!

Great spot - but needs some work

This is a fantastic spot - right in front of a surf break! but... it's a bit tired. The wifi was terrible. Food was pretty good and the staff very friendly. Hope they get paid well. it did seem to lack a manager.
It's a bit out from the rat race of Seminyak - which is a great thing yet it's an easy walk to along the beach or a cheap taxi fare away.

This hotel is in a great location. Surf spot is right out the front. You can walk to Echos in about 15 mins or the other way to Seminyak. Very quiet when we were there which was good for us. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is good enough to eat at the hotel without heading out. You can get cheaper food locally but it wasn't worth the effort for us. A nice spot to get out of the hussle of the Kuta area.

A great relaxing holiday

Excellent hotel, however slightly out of the way, but a short walk up the beach to some good cafe's at Canggu beach.
An idealic location right on the beach, with excellent and efficient, friendly staff. Good food at the hotel.
A day out with a driver at IR 650,000 well worth it.

Chilled and perfect for families.

Great location and area not over developed like other areas of Bali. Staff were lovely and service was good. Surf is right outside your doorstep and plenty of choice. We took our 9th month old baby and was perfect place to relax. Food is good and there is enough other choices within walking distances. Definitely money for value. We went for a wedding and when other people came to view they ended up moving there too. We ended up staying an extra 3 nights.

Legong Keraton is located in a quiet area right on the beach near rice fields and rural Bali north of the busy area of Kuta / Seminyak. Beach area is great for big surfing waves, but not for swimming or sunbathing. Rooms are well equiped with balcony, fridge, hairdryer, and air conditioning, however sheets and towels were not changed during 7 day stay. Breakfast is simple and sufficient with fair options available for dinner and lunch. Grounds are pretty and little spa on site is well equipped. Swimming pool and outdoor shower / towel service was also very good. Overall, very nice spot.

Good location but out of the way and not quite rea

Well lets start with the positives first;
+Our Delux room was huge bed was ncomfortable
+Rooms are clean and comfortable nothing fancy though
+Pool area and grounds are nice
+Bothroom is large
+right on the beach

And here are the negatives
- Hotel is out of the way and you need ataxi to get any where, there are no restaurants or circle K near by.
-Staff arn't all that helpfull, they don't seem all that interested in helping guests
- Breakfast is so basic we didn't really bother eating there mostly it was toast and jam
-The area is nice but super super quiet if you want nothing more than to sit by the pool then this would be fine.
-The hotel is more a 2 star motel than a three star hotel, facilities are fairly basic.
-Staff don't speak very good english.

Overall it was quite relaxing but I think there are better hotels in the area, the thing they bank on is the fact they are right on the beach. I don't think I would stay here again s it was so far out.

Great hotel on beach.Hire scooter/ car to explore

Fantastic spot on the beach. Good clean rooms and immaculate grounds around a lovely pool area. Breakfast is basic but ok.

Good for relaxing by the beach and pool however very limited things to do near hotel - lacking restaurants, shops or services in waking distances. Scooter /car/taxis needed.

Slow service, expensive internet

We stayed at Legong Keraton Beach Hotel for three nights. We paid US$50 for a one-week internet service. We only used it for four days but the first day it was very slow. We arrived at 1pm and waited for almost two hours to do our check in. They said the room was not ready. The thing about this hotel is that it is located right on the Berawa beach. Many surfers use the beach for surfing. It's also culturally pretty poor: poor design, just boxes.
